Today we popped by the office and we're greeted by Adam. The office desk had hand sanitizer & masks. Adam answered all of our questions. Rural Alberta really needs the solar rebates that Calgary & Edmonton enjoy. I look forward to planning our project in the near future. We did our research and feel confident that once we are Net Zero, we'll be answering all those questions for others. We are living in the decade of change. Can you feel it?

We had a 7kw solar system installed by Kuby Renewable Energy on our recent new custom residential build. Our builder originally had another solar subcontractor in mind. We came across Kuby at a home show and suggested he consider this company as well. Our builder did investigate Kuby and quickly recommended we go with them. Overall our Kuby experience has been very good. Kuby delivered what they promised when they promised in a professional manner and were quick to answer any queries we had.

Ruby Solar was outstanding at every step of the process from the initial estimate to the final inspection. The installation crew showed up at exactly the time they said they would, stayed for exactly the length of time they said they needed and left our yard in such perfect shape when they left, that one would never know they had been there. All inspections passed with flying colours, all permits were completed and accepted without a hitch and we could not be happier with the final result. I would highly recommend Kuby for anyone looking to have solar panels installed.

One of the best purchases I made last year was to get solar panels and a Powerwall. Kuby did the whole project without a single issue. On time when they said they would come and cleaned up when they were done. The Powerwall had some initial issues but they came back quickly and worked with Tesla to fix the problem. Over the winter we have had the piece of mind that we would have power during a snow storm (we live on an acreage) and now we are saving a ton of money on power when the sun shines. Estimate that our return on investment will be 7 years. The bottom line is that everyone should get solar panels and a Powerwall and Kuby are the people to do it. --------------------------------------------------------------- It is now one year later. Kuby really went above and beyond dealing with Tesla and my Powerwall problem. Everything is working great and last year 30% of my power came from solar energy. Imagine saving 30% on your power bill without trying. This is a no brainier. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- So 2020 decided to give me one last parting gift and we suddenly lost power in the neighborhood at 2100 on Dec 31. The system was fully charged and the switchover from Epcor to Powerwall was so seamless that my computers and servers didn't even notice. The reason it was flawless was because Kuby came back earlier in the year to deal with a Tesla component warranty issue. Any issues I have had with my system has been because of Tesla and Kuby have always been there to help. Simply the best customer service I have ever had. Stop reading this now and just call them.

Very good experience. Panels have been great addition and the install looks great. There was a small hiccup with a few panels going offline when we got the go ahead from the city to switch them on. Kuby quickly fixed it with no problems since.

After meeting with several contractors, I decided to go with Kuby Renewable Energy based on their fair, straightforward and friendly approach to not only securing business, but also to educating people about the potential of solar power. Jake was my initial point of contact and I was impressed with his passion and knowledge. He answered my numerous questions in a patient and detailed manner. Once I decided to go with Kuby, the actual work was turned over to Rob, a Project Manager. The installation took 3 full days and all installers on site were professional, engaging, hardworking and respectful. The electrical work was done seamlessly and passed final inspection with no issues. The install of the 32 panels looks amazing and was customized specifically to my home's roof shape and dimensions. Just waiting for Fortis to hook up a bi-directional meter and then we are off to the races generating our own electricity. Besides the install, I worked with Ben at Kuby to ensure all the proper paperwork was completed in a timely and accurate fashion. Everything was done on time and on budget (based on the initial quote). As a result, I would unequivocally recommend Kuby Renewable Energy if you are considering solar power for your home or business. They promised a true turn key solution and have delivered in spades. Thank you to Jake, Rob, Ben, Dave, Jason and all others involved at Kuby for making our first foray into the world of solar power such a positive experience.

I originally got a quote from another solar company and was told I would have to pay to get my whole, newly landscaped, back yard torn up and re-done So they could run lines. Also they suggested I pay a roofer to get all my roof vents moved. Of course I did not do this and instead got a quote from Kuby. They were great! All the solar was set up without having to pay a roofer to move anything. They fit more solar panels than the company that wanted us to pay to move all our vents was going to fit on the roof. Kuby came up with a modern solution for running the wires underground with no need to dig up my newly landscaped yard. They were professional, had realistic timelines and met all the deadlines they put forth to us. My emails were always answered in a timely fashion and any questions I had were promptly answered. Without any hesitation, I would work with them again. Amazing team!

A strong reputation in the EV/solar community led me to Kuby. After comparing multiple options, chose Kuby based on product, price, and knowledge. They did start work a few weeks later than scheduled (Christmas and weather played a factor), but were done quick (3 days). That included shoveling significant snow off the roof and ensuring the snow did not impede driveway or walkway. They took great care in working around our 2 cats - ensuring the cats did not 'get out' or go where they shouldn't. They got the inspection handled very quick, and everything was official less than a week after they started work. It has only been a short time, so can't speak to longevity of their work yet. The only advice I have for would be solar customers: shop around (obviously), and understand about clipping. Kuby did explain it during the proposal phase, but with lots of info flying around, it wasn't entirely understood. Also, check out the Eco Solar Home Tour and Solar Energy Society of Alberta to learn lots about this great new world of energy generation!

Kuby has a great team! Everyone that I have been involved with are friendly, professional, and have knowledge of the industry. When they said they were going to do something, they did it, and did it on time. If someone did not know the answer to my questions, they were able to find someone who was able to assist. My installation was clean, timely, and well worth the investment. I contacted 9 different companies (educating myself and price inquiries). - 3 didn't get back to me - 1 was a one-man show, only experience was his own home - 2 were pushy sales people talking in engineering terms trying to Wow me with their fancy tech talk. - 1 wanted a $500 non-refundable deposit just to have them take pictures/measurements of my roof (basically I would have to commit before even getting a quote) - 1 would sub-contract the work out (pricier) The company I chose was Kuby Renewable Energy. They had the best website that put everything in language I could understand. Kuby also had the most examples of successful residential and business installations on their FB page. Jake was straight, to the point, and spoke in a language I could understand. Overall, I am very pleased with the professionalism, and workmanship. They kept clean straight lines on my electrical and took pride in their work, as if it was their own. Highly recommend! When you chose Kuby, tell them I sent you, obviously for the referral program :)

If your looking for $5500 rebate this is the way to go. Sure helps. Quality install. Professional Installers were here for couple solid days morning to Evening and got the job done in my opinion very quick for 17 Panels Mounted in sequence into 5 Inverters with Rodent Guard Protection and connection to Panel. Although there was a considerable delay from order to delivery, due to no fault of Kuby, they maintained effective communication to provide updates.
