Very impressed with the customer and service provided by Great Canadian Roofing. It began with John Jenkins and the knowledge and advice he provided as we decided what to do. The price was very competitive. Then the crew that installed our roof was great, always kept us informed and cleaned up. Lastly once the job was finished it was all inspected to ensure a good job was done which it was. Even a minor issue around the delivery of the shingles (not the fault of Great Canadian) was remedied in a very satisfactory way. So a well deserved 5 stars for Great Canadian Roofing Edmonton. When it comes time to do the siding they will be my first call.

Was sent out for insurance. We had a massive storm and lighting hit very close to house, splitting a tree that ended with pieces of wood all over roof. This storm damaged our tin. Nick was here all of 5 mins ran up side with no damage, walked across peak, took some pics and said our roof was perfect no damage. ...please explain all the water pouring in? Would never hire. Does not know roofing at all. Completely unprofessional. Response to Follow up 4 months later: Every roofing company can do insurance claims, you being the 'preferred' by Intact was simply because your company is willing to flat out lie to prevent claims. How this is ethical in anyway is beyond me. You guy wasn't here long enough to do anything. He saw that we had decra metal shingles and did not want to deal with them as they are a nightmare. This was your way out.

I am SO disappointed. First of all, it has been since 2018 and the work is still incomplete on my house! I have called them several times and nothing has been done. They keep telling me they're sending a crew to complete the work. After installing shingles they were supposed to come back and clean up all the depris, nails and gutter. My elderly father had to finally clean some of the nails himself as we have a dog in the yard. They "finished" the job in November 2018 and said they would be back in April when the weather is better to clean and pick up depris. Which was so annoying because we had booked them before prior to winter and they show up in November knowing that we're in a contract. November is very cold. When they first arrived they brought 4-5 workers to pull the shingles off, after that they only sent 1 or 2 workers to slowly work on our house. Fine, whatever. We managed. For the record, our first estimate was in August. We have since called several times and they keep saying the next month, no one came. Then we called again, they said they'll come next month - again nothing. Then AGAIN, them saying they'll send a crew and again NOTHING. We are FED up. They don't deserve even 1 star. We paid them in full and never honoured the contract. Nonetheless, we couldn't go somewhere else because of the contract - they're rates were far more expensive than other companies. It is now June 2020 and our work is incomplete. I think I been more than fair to say that is is ridiculous. The job still remains UNFINISHED. We're still waiting for SOMEONE to help us.

Had my roof done by Great Canadian Roofing about 5 years ago. Notice paint bubble in an upstairs bedroom, called and left a message with their warranty department and no call back. Follow up AGAIN and still can't get a hold of anyone in the warranty department. Great Canadian reached out to me yesterday and Gerry sent someone right over for an initial inspection. So far great news but will save my final review for when this is resolved.

We met Nguyen Pham at the home show while looking for companies that complete work for upgrading attic insulation. We left him our name and number to contact us to set up a quote. He promptly called us on Monday and was able to accommodate our preferred date and time. He showed up on time with everything he needed and actually went up into the attic (other contractors just stuck their heads up the hatch!). He spent time reviweing the current status and took lots of pictures. He showed us the pictures and explained in detail the work that would need to be done, as well as answered our questions. He then emailed us our quote very quickly. He made sure to clean up any insulation that came down with him as well. Very professional! We were very happy with our quote experience.

We had a number of missing shingles due to the recent windstorm in Edmonton. We decided not to go through insurance and handle this on our own as our shingles were close to 20 years old already.. Great Canadian was referred to me by a friend who was happy with their work. After the initial estimate, which was clear with very competitive pricing (I got three quotes), the crew showed up within a few days. The crew was polite, professional and quick. We have a 2100 sq ft house, and it took two days to replace all shingles. Upon completion they cleaned up the front, side and back yard pretty good. Our roof really does look great. Andrew K, project manager took care of everything from checking on the crew first to inspecting the final work. Super nice guys... I'd recommend them to anyone.

Every year for the past three years the same piece of siding has fallen off! The first time I contacted them to have it repaired, they fixed it relatively quickly. But that same piece keeps falling off. I have attempted to contact them SIX TIMES, via email and phone; however, I get no where!! They keep transferring me to a machine.

The windstorm that happened a few months ago took off some of our shingles. We ended up going through insurance and Great Canadian came up to do an emergency patch for us and when the weather warmed up they redid our roof in about 3 days. They did a great job and it turned out looking beautiful! Super friendly bunch of guys who always took the time to smile or wave at my 1 year old who kept tapping at the window for attention!

The Crew was professional , respectful and friendly, cleaning up everyday. John here in Edmonton was great to deal with and was professional in getting back to us with all the questions we had. My home builder contracted Great Canadian Roofing to install the asphalt roof. We constantly get shingles blown off of the roof because of a poor install and they are extremely difficult to get a hold of to warranty their poor install. BP Mystique 42 Shingles have a regular install wind rating of 180 km/h and a high wind install rating of 220 km/h. The highest recorded wind speed since I've been in possession of the property is 89 km/h.

Great Canadian has completed the install of new shingles on our roof. John Jenkins was our sales representative, John presented himself in a very professional manner. We did experience some concerns and John got back to us on a Sunday and insured us everything will be taken care of. Throughout the install of our new shingles we communicated with Andrew Knapton who was the project manager for this install. Andrew made sure our install was completed to the highest standard which Great Canadian expects on every install. Andrew was able to answer any questions or concerns we had through this whole process. I have to say Great Canadian is very fortunate to have two individuals that take the time and effort to make sure their customers are satisfied.

They worked hard on the roof and the foreman was pleasant to deal with and answered all our questions. The shingles are excellent quality and the roof looks great. I was given a price and was told I would be emailed a contract promptly and the job could be done within the next two weeks. On Jan 23/21 our house in west edmonton lost a couple of shingles iduring a very windy night. I phoned around to several roofing companies and got Great Canadian roofing to come out two days later. They installed a couple of new shingles and where done in less than an hour. Yesterday jan23rd I noticed a shingle was sticking up in the exact same spot as before from another windy night. I called Andrew from Great Canadian roofing and he said he would look into it. Today Feb 24th James from Great Canadian came out and re-installed a new shingle and put tar down many others as well. Thanks again to Andrew and James for their great response and relieving my stress of any possible leaks on my roof. I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking to get their shingles done .They were referred to me from my son in-law in Spruce Grove . ABOVE AND BEYOND. During the "snow squall" (I've never heard that term before 2021), a pile of my shingles blew off my house and garage. My insurance company hooked me up with Great Canadian, and it was no time at all before they were over to complete a temporary repair until the weather was a bit better for installation of a new roof. Fast forward a few weeks, and Andrew Knapton and his team planned and installed both roofs in 3 days, with the install being done in a single day. The installers were really professional, well spoken, and friendly, and everything was cleaned up very nicely. I'd certainly recommend this company to anyone! Thanks fellas!!

I am leaving this feedback on behalf of my cousin Jim and his family in Sherwood Park as their google accounts don't seem to work properly for posting. They had a great positive experience with replacing their 27 year old cedar roof this month. After several quotes, they chose this venue despite it was not the lowest cost as that was not a critical criterion. They found the staff to be professional. Nic, the estimator is highly knowledgeable and honest. He recommended that they could wait for two more years to replace the roof, but the family decided to go ahead with the project. Nic's manager was very helpful. Justin and crew did a great job both in installing and cleaning up afterwards. the quality of cedar installed was great. Andrew, the field project manager was in constant contact with owner and helpful in managing cost (the project cost them 1K more than the original quote due to supply price change). The project was originally scheduled for late May, but the lack of supply and labour caused a push back till mid July and the project spanned more than two weeks. Despite the constraints, it was worth the wait. Already, Jim recommended the business to our extended family, his colleagues at work, and his neighbours - special thanks to the entire staff of Great Canadian Roofing Corporation for having a customer-centric culture, for being professional with excellent skills, and for being competitive - we highly recommend the company to anyone who need roof replacement/repair.

I recently had my roofing and siding done by Great Canadian, the salesman was very thorough in products and taking care of our needs, the lady in the office was friendly and informative, the crew onsite was very knowledgeable with top notch workmanship and had the job done in no time. The project managers always kept us informed and made sure the job was running smoothly. We also had a curtesy call from the Manager to see how the job was going (thumbs up on that) and the guys ALSO came back to cleanup once the snow was gone. These guys are amazing! I had reported a problem to my insurance about my ceiling leaking and they sent a different roofer out to access the damage and cause, they reported back to the insurance company the issue but I wanted a second opinion. Great Canadian Roofers came quickly and provided a proper assessment at a much reduced price. The other roofer had misdiagnosed the issue and their solutions would have made the problem worse. Great Canadian quickly fixed the issue, they did not make a mess and I am very happy with their professionalism and quality of work. I highly recommend them!

Stay Away!! They abounded with great promises that later many were not followed through. We were up-sold, unfortunately. To start with our work order was lost what we were told would be installed in a week was 3+weeks later after I followed up. We were PROMISED again and again that the final payment would not be taken until we approved the job. However the payment was taken immediately after they finished and we hadn’t been even seen the work. The yard was not cleaned I was picking nails up for a week, which was PROMISED the yard would be impeccable as we had young kids. They left extra shingles on our front lawn saying they would pick them up, well a week later and after killing the grass they never came. Then the dumpster that they had dropped off on our front lawn damaged our sidewalk and destroyed the grass. Then the warranty certificate that was to come within 1-2 weeks of completion took over a month and MANY phone calls and emails to actually get it. Do yourself a favour and AVOID this company! Don’t fall for their well rehearsed sales pitch like we did.

Went with them because I thought they were a bigger company. They showed up with what looked like four homeless men. Dropped them off and left them unsupervised. One of the men was on my roof wearing flip flops. They didn't have the right tools or even one phone among them to call for supplies or to be picked up. They had to take the bus home. Put the vents in the wrong place. Took four return trips to finally get it right. Very unprofessional.

They get busy, so you have to remind them of the scheduling. My shingles were on my roof for 1 week before I reminded them they need to be done. Need to confirm what the contact says bc the sales crew and the work crew don't have the same contract. When the work was all done, they forgot to look at the contract and they sent a guy to come made amendments.
