Clark Builders is not a professional place to work. They will act nice upon hiring you and offer you good pay to start. However, I spoke my mind and it cost me my job. If you are new to Clark, please make sure you are not friends with anyone with any influence. It will cost you your job. Clark's way of terminating people is to lie to them, atleast this is what was done to me. Please be cautious if someone claims you are being transferred due to Manpower and vaccination issues.

I have worked in the construction industry for awhile, and was appalled by the disrespectful nature of the supervisor Kevin at the Camrose aquatic centre. Usually love my job, but working for this dude made me seriously depressed and eventually made me walk off site. The supervisor is supposed to be the quarterback of the site, but it seemed like Kevin did absolutely everything in his power to make everyone miserable and hate their lives. Clark really needs to do a better job with who they have in charge of their sites because that experience made me want to leave construction entirely.

Careful all subcontractors! These guys don't pay their bills. Typical General contractors that use all subtrades to fund their projects and don't pay their hold back money. They will find any and all excuses not to pay on time or even within their stated contract. And after they get you in a bad disposition, they know its difficult for you to fund a lawyer to defend yourself or lay claim to what your actually owed. They use their own in-house lawyer to shed claims or keep them tied up in our broken Justice System. Good job Clark Builders for continuing to erode the fundamental hardworking company to pay for your fancy offices and corporate corruption. This company deserves negative stars. They don't build things... they use subtrades to build everything and use subtrades money to fund all their projects. The more subcontractors they can bankrupt the higher their offices go! At this rate they will have the highest offices in Edmonton to look down upon all the people they have destroyed!
