Great guy, known him for years with great service but recently asked him to fix my laptop after having some issues, and he ended up denting the whole thing and scratching it, and didn't even mention it pretending I didn't notice until I called him out on it. It made me feel disgusted, I was so shocked cause I've known him for so many years, and just after seeing the condition my laptop came back I didn't even believe it was mine. When I got home I ended up noticing he used old parts, not knew and I was just so shocked. I gave him to fix it, and he ended up giving it more damage, than fixing, and espically the price I paid is ridiculous, not even a discount, a sorry or anything. I respect him and all but this is clearly unacceptable. I'm hoping we work something out, but the amount of years I've known him then all of a sudden he gives me this is just shocking. Literally was careless with my laptop, and now I have to deal with it. The price I paid, I could of just baught a new one, without any of the dents he caused and the old parts which I requested new. I hope to use him more in the future, but this service shocked me. I'm not mad, it was probably an accident, probably dropped it, but the fact he refused to tell me what had happened, and kept changing topics made me sick. But over than that he'd a great guy, and does great service, accidents happen, and we should not be afraid to admit it. This is the only time I ever had complaints on him. In my opinion 3-4 stars. Great guy.

After spilling a glass of ice-water on my laptop I tried everything logical to get it working and called the closest computer store, Simon Computers & Electronics. Simon allowed me to come immediately and gave me an honest diagnoais: I needed a new circuit board which he didn't have in stock. He then suggested another store close by that I had considered. Fortunately, Simon had a used laptop, fully loaded, for the same price of repairs. We then agreed upon a fair deal for transferring my files. Simon is trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient.

Recently I brought a computer in for him to fix, it was in top condition when I first gave it to him. As soon as he fixed it; it ended up having more damages than when it was first was brought in. When I confronted him in person and called him on the phone he kept on trying to come up with excuses and eventually admitted to actually damaging the computer chipping both sides somehow and scratching the back of the laptop. The part that I find disgusting is how he kept on trying to denying it and not even mentioning it once he gave my computer back. He even hung up on me once he admitted. Thankfully we had pictures of our computer when we first brought it in to him, and when we got it back. So a before and after. If you want your computer repaired he'll do a good job but won't take care of your computer instead he'll damage the hell outta of it.

Honestly, I like Simon, however, His stock is old stuff refurbished. But repair prices are good, and he gets parts easily. I'd buy from "The Source" - (unmatchable prices), but get service with Simon.
