Came here to have my very old MacBook Air battery replaced. Everyone here was very friendly and they were able to see my laptop right away. Phenomenally helpful service that got the job done. I had a pair of issues with my computer, a broken keyboard and faulty charge port, the techs here had me come in a couple times for free to make sure that the problems were correctly identified and gave me a very fair upfront price to fix the problems. After I dropped my computer off they found that there was another way to fix one of the problems, called me and told me about it and significantly reduced the price of the repair job as a result. Now with my computer back in hand I can say it works very well and I am very glad for the experience. Everyone who I interacted with (four or five people in total) was kind, patient, and professional and made what could be a very stressful situation a breeze. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I've had my lenovo laptop suddenly stuck in a self healing healing mode. I've tried bringing it to another 'famous & cheapest' service and put it there for 3 weeks for nothing, and they said it's unfixable-not even data retrieval. I bring it here and BAM it's done in a single night!!!! I can't really express my gratitude enough. I have this photos of my child in my laptop and they fix it like there's never anything wrong. TL;DR: BRING YOUR GADGET HERE, IF THEY CAN'T FIX IT NOBODY CAN

My Dell Inspiron laptop was really, really slow. I couldn't get on the Internet and had to wait forever for Word to open. I was able to get a free diagnostic in 20 min from New York Computer Help and they got it fixed in just 2 hours. They had to remove a virus and some spyware. They were cheaper than other computer repair shops in the area and were much friendlier on the phone.

This place is professional, honest, diligent, and competent. They saved me during an emergency! My hard drive crashed one week before I was to take the bar exam and because I was going to type the state essay portion, I needed my computer to be perfectly functioning. After explaining my situation, I was charged a fair price, compared to other locations in the area, and they fixed it the same day. Suffice it to say, I did not have any computer issues during the bar exam. So thank you NY Computer Help for fixing my computer when I needed it most. I have not had the best experience there and I would not recommend them. I lost my charger a few years ago and I could not seem to find a replacement. So I brought my laptop there and they replaced the port. About month or so later my entire hard drive got fried and I brought it back there and they replaced it. I figured it was a coincidence. So when the port stopped working two years later I brought it back and they charged me than the more than the first time and this time I didn't get a charger. They did reduce the charge after I complained. Now my wireless adapter seems to be broken which is exactly what happened before the hard drive fried the last time. No longer think this is a coincidence. I am now about $600 in the hole for a computer that was working fine.

Very nice, much better than I expected. The efficiency and seriousness of the staffs are at the highest level I've ever seen so far. I bought a new WiFi module and let them help to replace it for me. Although they charged me $20 for their service fee, I'd say IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY. They did it for me within 10 minutes. After I got home, I installed the driver and everything worked very perfectly!!

Called about 6 places for hdd recovery. 20 years of work gone. Hdd would startup then click and stop spinning, not bootable. After a couple of tears decided to try and get data recovered. Landed on NY COMPUTER. Had offers from various different labs, including other states, but Marcus’s (computer tech, I believe) empathy and calmness sold me, against the advice of a IT friend who wanted me to ship the hdd out, only because he had used this company before, located somewhere in CA. I dropped off hdd and 5 days later received hdd with all my data recovered. I was amazed and vowed to backup my hdd moving forward, maybe not, lol. Pricing was excellent, for 20 years of work worth every penny spent, would not hesitate to use them again and refer everyone I know to them.

This is my first ever Google review. Had to write one because I'm so extremely grateful to Joe and his team for their professionalism, honesty and efficiency. I spilled a hot sweet drink all over my keyboard one night (sigh). They only charged me a quarter of what some other shops quoted, gave me a student discount, and took only half a day (when some other shops needed 3 or 4 days). They even fixed an additional audio issue of their own accord without charging me any extra. Bonus: they have a 60 days warranty period after the repairs are complete. I would like to say that this place is a life saver. I originally had sent my macbook pro to be repaired at Rossmann Repair Group, but unfortunately they were unable to fix it. They said that the damage to the board was too severe, and it would not be worth it for me due to the cost of them finding replacement parts and the labor. Fast and affordable! My trackpad stopped working on my Surface Book - first brought it to a different repair place that I used in the past, they said they would need 2 days with my laptop so I decided to try out NY Computer Help. They were able to fix my problem that same afternoon and it was $100 cheaper than the place I first went to. Everything is working great now and I'm glad they also provide a 60 day warranty on the repair (hopefully won't have to use it but it's nice piece of mind). New York Computer Help effectively diagnosed and fixed a problem I had with a 10 year old laptop that could no longer startup. They did so by replacing the GPU. Many other repair shops won't even look at a laptop of this age. They fixed it quickly and at a very inexpensive price that made the repair worth it. They also fixed a minor issue I had with the keyboard at no extra charge. They are a professional, safe team, and respect the privacy of your personal data. today I brought in my two 2014 & 2015 MacBook pros 15 inch machines that I use for work and backup machines, the batteries were swollen if not swelling, after having them serviced via the rossman group and other 3rd party the last 2-3 years the rossman battery wasnt even a year old (put in my 2015 in 2021) and it was swelling and messing up my keyboard which was shocking after I paid all that money and rush services the 2014 battery was too my shock and awe 2700+ days old after I was told by a tech on 7-8th ave it was new (the nice tech from nyc comp help she showed me how swollen it was) I was so disappointed by rossman group and the other tech from 7-8th ave they basically took my money and installed lame batteries so im glad I found this place cost me $381 for 2 "hopefully new and decently lasting batteries the service was great but the place is hard too find

Wonderful service! My laptop was no longer charging. I initially took it to Best Buy and was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks just to diagnose the problem but that it could possibly be an issue with the motherboard which would cost me several hundred dollars. I called to ask what the price for a simple fan cleaning was at its worst. They said 85$ and half an hour. When I arrived they asked for 85$ and told me it was because they normally charge 120$ for a fan cleaning. The fan itself isn't even worth 30$. They want to work you over and it's apparent. Then they said it would take an hour. However I'm adding stars because the waiting room is really nice. More later when they get done. They got done in half an hour, nice. Total cost 92$ and change Core temp at start. 72c. Core temp at end. 41c. Can clean a machine

These guys are amazing. I had a broken screen and arranged a price that helped me out because I'm a student and then I got a call that they could fit a refurbished screen in right away with a $100 discount. Then, unfortunately three days later I clumsily spilled water on my laptop, totally busting it. They miraculously fixed it and because they felt bad that I had just paid money to fix it, they literally told me I could pay what I could even though they usually charge 400 for water damage repair. Who does that?? Just really cool ethical people. Please support these guys, they are totally awesome. A place like GeekSquad couldn't detect the problem and suggested a diagnostic with a hefty charge AND I had to leave my computer for 3 days. Story: Went in because I was stumped on why my pc would not turn on. I did everything from changing the RAM, Battery, PC AC adapter, thermal paste and ssd. Nothing...... I brought everything to NY Computer help and they fixed the issue with in a day. It turned out to be a mother board issue. My pc has worked like a charm since getting it back. I have not had any issues. 5 starts all day! Review: These guys know what they're doing. I had no issues. I brought my pc they took a look; gave me a quote. Once we settled on what needed to be done. I got a text saying that everything was ready.

Overall, real professional and really honest. 1st time I went, they cleaned out the trackpad with pure alcohol solution. Seemed to do the trick but temporally. Did not have to pay anything. 2nd time I went, I just told them to replace my trackpad for my MacBook Pro 15" because it just was too unresponsive. Replacing it took about 30mins. I read different reviews and I called New York Computer Help - the first difference that made me visit the place is it is not charging any diagnosis fee unlike other company. Then it called me on the same day to let me know the problem and fee - I find it little expensive but I needed my lap top - it called me today to let me know that it has been fixed. Now my only concern which may be too early is what if it stops working again like I am reading in some reviews. They said I can bring back in 60 days- I hope such thing won't happen - FOR NOW- I SAY IT IS AN A+ company with friendly staff members and efficient professionals fixing laptops.

I don't usually post reviews, but New York Computer Help more than deserves it. I had an issue with the keyboard of my Dell work laptop when it suddenly stopped working out of the blue. I brought it to a shop near my apartment and had the most terrible experience. I sought advice from a friend who is tech savvy and he recommended New York Computer Help; I've thanked this friend profusely. I found New York Computer Help to be extremely efficient, professional, and honest. Upon arrival, my laptop was taken to be diagnosed (no extra diagnostic fee charged!) and within 10 minutes, I was informed that the issue was hardware, not software. I had to leave the laptop there to be worked on. I left the shop at around 3 PM (I arrived around 2:45 PM) and by 6 PM, Idit had given me a call to inform me that my laptop is FIXED! Turns out, the motherboard had to be replaced. Turnaround time of 3 hours is super impressive, especially since my expectations were so low based on my previous horrendous experience. I should've taken it here sooner. I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future should the need arise. My laptop is working great (using it right now to type this review). THANK YOU Idit and Jonathan for saving my laptop and my sanity.

So this place has become my go to shop to get my computer fixed. <3 So far I have been there 3 times. The first time when I tried to clean my laptop myself, the second time when my laptop accidentally fell when I was cleaning my apartment, and finally recently when my battery died (continuous blinking orange light). All the 3 times the staff has been professional, quick, and very affordable. This last time took longer than expected, I brought it in, they ordered a new battery, after 4 business days they called me to inform me that their quality control test on my battery failed and they had to order a new one, so it would take 4 more business days. They were very apologetic and luckily since I am still in winter break and work was light, this was fine. So I got my new battery finally, and they threw in some cleaning free of charge around my mousepad because it took so long. Listen, these are hard working people, I can imagine them maybe making a mistake like all humans do. But they are hard working, their fees are affordable (my whole thing was $163) and they do a great job as promised. Some of these reviewers need to manage their expectations. They can't snap their fingers and create a miracle, but if you give them time, they will save your butt when you need them! Love these guys. <3

I have used NYC Iphone Repair services two times to repair two damaged Iphones. I was very pleased by the honesty and integrity in the service provision. I had my Iphones pre-diagnosed by a tech friend so I knew going in for service what the extent of the damage and repair needs were. NYC Iphone consistently diagnosed the problem with no additional `unknown` and unexpected problems popping up, as is usual with most tech repair establishments. I was in desperate search for a place to hurry and look at my WD external hard drive where I've kept at least 10+ years of photos in. It suddenly started failing and can't be recognized by my computers. I inquired a few places and this place is by far the quickest and response and also was also from talking to the store engineer it seems like they are able to fix it so I gave it a shot despite the high price but it's well worth it!! They give me a quote of $950 + tax and told me that I only pay if they are able to fix it. Of course in my mind I hope that they can fix it and am willing to pay that. These people are predators. Please stay away! I needed to get my laptop screen replaced. They have assured me that they had the right screen for my laptop. The screen was replaced in record time (I can give them that). However, the screen they gave me has a maximum resolution of 1600 x 900 while my original screen (and the LCD screen they should have used) had 1920x1080. It was definitely a very cheap knock-off screen that gave me serious headaches when I tried using it. I tried pointing that out, at which point they said that there must be something wrong with me. I eventually took my laptop to another place who fitted a proper screen. They then told me that the screen I had fitted was an absolute piece of crap.

The warranty on my laptop just expired, so of course, the screen broke. I took it to New York Computer Help at the end of the day on Saturday, and they got back to me quickly to tell me I'd need to replace the screen. Talk about super service!!! Not only did they fix my computer fast but they did it like new. Everything was ez and upfront. I came here upon my friends recommendation. She had brought her 13'' MacBook pro here a few weeks ago. One evening I had spilled bit of water on my Mac, the same night it had updated software. The next morning I turned it on and it would not let me log into the computer anymore. Long story short I took it to apple and they couldn't help me log-in to my computer even with password reset, couldn't reinstall the OS, and then sent it off to get it repaired. I got a quote from the Genius Bar that required me to replace hardware including the logical board; labor plus parts was close to the total of $1500. My Mac Pro is a Mid 2015, so it doesn't make sense to spend that much on repairs versus buying a new one. So I came here for a second opinion. They were wonderfully helpful, attentive and quick with services. They actually managed to fix whatever issue that was a problem. Manage to log me back into the computer when apple couldn't. The computer works fine, I can log in, the logic board is not broken, all data is intact. I can't believe how close I was to buying a new computer. I will definitely recommend this spot to friends in the future.

I took my drive there because it was close and they had relatively positive reviews. I had an old school server and the motherboard died, but everything else was fine. I needed someone with a scsi adapter to pull the data off my drive. So after about half a day they called and said my drive was never formatted and no file system was visible but "the drive was in tact" GREAT they lost all my data. All they had to do was say "hey we cant handle something like this find someone else", but they wiped the drive clean and they said there was nothing they can do, they tried to make me believe that I brought it in that way. What a bunch of retards must be working there to take a working drive and completely wipe it. Luckily, the secondary drive in the raid was still in my possession and I had a friend with the identical motherboard. So I switched out the motherboard and pulled the data off the it and learned a valuable lesson. NEVER GO TO THIS CHOP SHOP AGAIN!

My beloved laptop crashed 2 years ago and I remember feeling devastated as I stared endlessly at the blue screen of death when that happened. I felt utterly hopeless that I was not able to back-up my 10 plus years worth of pictures. My husband found New York Computer Help and read all the amazing reviews about this place. I decided to check it out and brought my laptop in. While the people there said they were able to recover my files, my colleague found out about my situation and graciously offered to help me instead. I let my colleague took care of it and in the end, less than half of my pictures were recovered. The only pictures recovered were those dated after 2014 which meant he was unable to recover several thousands of pictures taken since 2006. He noted that my hard drive was severely damaged and tried to salvage as much as he could. Nevertheless, I was still happy that he was able to recover all my other files so I left it at that. Fast forward to today, a close friend of mine passed away and their family was reaching out to their friends and family members to send in pictures we all had with him. I knew I had numerous of pictures dated before 2014 but since I only had pictures recovered from 2014 and onward, I had to send in the few I had. Aside from that, another close friend of mine recently announced her wedding engagement. Her now-fiancé is European and we all first met him in 2006 in the UK when they barely knew one another. While I was extremely ecstatic for them both, my friend asked me, "Do you have that picture of that time we all first met?" It was at that moment I realized I had to recover my pictures and needed to contact New York Computer Help. Even though I forgot the name of the store, I was able to do a quick google search and found them in a matter of seconds (thanks to all the raving reviews they have as well as their super easy and self-explanatory store name)! I reached out to them and Joe was super helpful and responsive to my emails. When I dropped off my hard drive at their store, they said it may not be a guarantee they can recover everything (because it's been 2 years and my hard drive was damaged) but they will see what they can do. But, I needed the battery in my laptop to be exchanged as soon as possible (I only have one, as the majority of 'normal' people and need it for work). UPDATE: The owner got in touch with me and they explained that there was a miscommunication in the way they handled the final service and they fully refunded me . Still annoyed by the dual boot issue that I had to solve by myself though. Very deficient service. The problem: I left a Dell Xps15 with an issue with the charging port. I could not charge the computer using the official dell charger through the standard jack. The solution: They offered me a replacement of the power for a 125 fee and no other alternatives. They were not able to repair the problem, as the issue was with the motherboard so instead they provided me with an usb-c charger instead The deficiencies: 1. My objective was to charge the computer. The provided dell charger costs less than 110$ directly from dell. Instead of advising me directly to acquire a usb c charger as a solution, which would have been cheaper for me but no money for them, they recommend the more expensive repair, that also includes the risk of opening the laptop and messing with the board. 2. They messed up my dual boot ubuntu windows. For some reason they had to log in into my windows account (they said to check if it was charging, but battery charge can even be seen pushing the button on the laptop side). In any case if they had to change bios settings they did not need to log in to windows. Finally my GRUB window disappeared after the repair, still pending a repair. 3. My antivirus detected two new threats and my chrome install was broken. I only use windows for steam, just have it in case so why this happened in a power jack repair is beyond my understanding. 4. The BIOS gives me a error message saying that the charger is 90W instead of 130. It looks like an official dell charger but they weren't able to solve this issue now, or give an explanation, just to ignore it. 5. They did not even communicate that the problem had no solution and gave me the new charger directly, without asking for my confirmation. An extra issue: Reading a bit more I see that the charger they gave me, which in theory provides 130W, does only provide 100W to my model (9560, it gives 130 to the 9575). So slower charging. They did not adviso on that and having known this I might have opt for a Dock Station that seems to provide the power necessary for full charges. All this after having told me that the usbc charger is super fast.

New York Computer Help repaired the broken motherboard in my HP laptop for about $50 less then the price quoted by the manufacturer, and also fixed one of my internal wireless antennas that had been bent for no charge. After it turned out the replacement motherboard they installed had a faulty sound card, they ordered and installed a second motherboard and gave me a USB sound card to use while it shipped - all at no cost to me. These Guys are the real deal :) I started by taking my Toshiba Notebook to a place down the street (Jack's Computer Repair on West 14th Street). The guy wanted $75 to perform a diagnostic, with a $35 deposit up front. He also wanted to keep the machine for 2 weeks for repair. I told him I’d think about it. I then asked if he could help me with two screws on the hard drive bay which I believed I had striped with my Philips Head screwdriver. He looked at them and said he’d have to cut or drill them out ... for $25. Again, I said I’d think about it and walked out. Then a friend told me about New York Computer Help. I brought the notebook to them on a Friday evening, just as they were closing. They took the PC and said they would call with a diagnosis (NO CHARGE) by Monday, but I got a call from them less than an hour later. They told me my BIOS chip was fried and that I needed a new motherboard and gave me a very low, all-inclusive price for the work (NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED). I asked if I should buy a new notebook, which they could have sold me for about twice the cost of the repair, but they advised me that it was a “great little machine” and that it would be worth fixing. I authorized them to do the work and they said I would have it back by the end of the next week. Imagine how thrilled I was when they called me on Wednesday morning to say it was ready! The price was exactly what they quoted me and I got my computer back, better than new, in less than 3 business days! While I was there, I asked them about the stripped screws. The guy took a one glance at them and said they were Allen Wrench heads and promptly unscrewed them. Amazing. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. These Guys are truly legit. I wish everyone was as good.

My five year old 1TB external hard drive suddenly stopped working. I tried to trouble shoot it myself first and have friends in IT look at it... Long story short, no one could figure out the issue and I wound up finding these guys online. I'm very glad I did! When I called they were friendly, honest and upfront. I paid $250 (I think this service may normally be more expensive, but I was grateful for the price I got) + the cost of a new drive to transfer the files onto. It took them only two or three business days to get my old drive and its replacement with my restored files back to me. All of my files were there and working. My laptop was overheating last week and I did what I always had done first: brought it to Best Buy and the Geek Squad. The guy behind the desk told me that the fan was running slowly and that they would need to send it off to be diagnosed and repaired (4 weeks turnaround). They also quoted me several hundred dollars--more if they needed to replace the fan--PLUS SHIPPING. I work using my laptop and cannot afford to send it away for a month--especially when the official diagnosis hasn't even been given as to what the problem even is. So I searched elsewhere. After looking at a few other pc repair shops in Manhattan I ended up at New York Computer Help, initially wary of the somewhat obvious title. Within five minutes they had diagnosed the problem (it just needed a cleaning) and quoted me less than half of what any of the other shops had quoted me, telling me it would be ready for pickup the next day. One day. Lo and behold I wasn't out the door 2 hours when they phoned me and told me it was ready for pickup. By the time I was done running errands I had my laptop back in hand and was back to work the moment I got home. I've never had such a positive experience with tech repair. Next time I'll save myself the time and struggle and go to them first.

This place is great! I'm not a complete novice with computers, but I needed help when I couldn't figure out why my fans were acting up. The staff worked with me through my issue and all my questions. I had to revisit the shop multiple times as the issue kept arising with each tinkering/ treatment, which was frustrated, but finally the issue was fixed and my frustration was alleviated due to the incredibly reasonable price for all the hassle. They want to insure that the customer is happy at the end of the day. I've had my fixed product for about 2 months now, and there aren't any more issues with the fans like before, so I'm very happy. They also have bathrooms on the floor, charging cables and outlets for phones/tablets, coffee and water. Super accommodating. Note to fixers: Always check for dust first haha!

After 1 month they replaced my macbook battery, its not holding the power anymore. I returned it and after next day diagnostics they said it is the logic board that needs to be replaced and they giving me a quote for $600 to replace it. What happen? My invoice number is 7947 to verify that I am a legit customer. After the battery replacement they were this weird sound on my mac and they said that it is the logic board that needs to be replaced. The sound was not there when I i give it to them for repair.

Apple told me the chances of data recovery would be very slim, and even if it was possible it would be at an exorbitant rate. Saved my life. They were reassuring, and I needed it because I was going crazy about my lost data. I had a Lacie hard drive that I had not backed up since quarantine. The drive had a T-bite of animation and adobe premier compositions and assets. The Hard Drive had just stoped working out of nowhere, and though it would register on my Mac, when I opened it....nothing. I had a good experience here this morning. I spilled water on my lap top. It was okay when I first brought my lap top to the store, so after the free diagnosis I chose not to do any procedure. But later on, the lap top started to turn back on everytime I try to turn off it. So I went to the store again 3days later which was monday. He fixed it and kept it for the night to check the following morning to see if it is really good. The cost is cheaper compared to other stores and he makes sure if the computer is properly taken care of. I recommend if you want to keep your lap top flawless, put a shield on the lap top. it might get a scratch during the fix (which happens to all of the computer shops not this one particular). and if you have time, just leave the computer for the night to let the technician on the following morning check if it is good to go.

These Gentleman have great customer service! I will say though, after getting my phone fixed, I started to have a lot of malfunctions. My phone will turn off automatically. The screen they replace it with, is a great price, but it's a cheap screen, so it will get scratched, and cracked really easily. If you replace your battery, it won't function the same way, apple's battery does. I don't want to discredit these dudes, and say they're completely bad! I am just being honest. These guys are legit. I went in to get my hard disk fixed (G Technology, really bad soldering job, broke after of a month of use, NEVER buy it). Finding an NYC computer repair shop is not as easy I thought it would be. As always, I look to speak with 3 companies first before hiring. The 2 other computer repair places in NYC I spoke with either had broken English and were rude or did not provide a true free diagnostic like New York Computer Help does. So, New York Computer Help was already heads and shoulders in the lead upon the first call. My initial impression was that these guys were professional and upfront. If I don't want to go ahead with their computer service after the free diagnostic, there's no charge. I went ahead with their service, got my virus removed for only $85 and was able to pick up my computer the same day. I got some tips for how to prevent virus infections in the future and let's just say I'm a happy camper and will definitely go back if warranted.

My old HP work laptop was recently damaged during a thunderstorm and would not power on at all. I frantically researched how I could fix it since I needed to retrieve important files on the HDD. After three weeks of trying to fix it myself, I brought it to NYCH which happened to be only a few minutes walk from my office. After I dropped off the laptop, they called me later in the morning and recommended that the motherboard inside the laptop be replaced due to several short circuits. I was a bit concerned about replacing the MB since my HDD was encrypted, but it turned out to be fine. NYCH offered a very reasonable price, and my laptop was ready to be picked up only a few days later (faster than I had expected!) I was elated when my laptop turned on again and all my files were still there! However, my Ethernet port did not work (probably damaged in the storm surge) so when I called back and told them about it, they immediately ordered a USB to Ethernet adapter for me and it arrived the next day. When I went it to pick it up and pay for the adapter, they told me it was free of charge to my surprise. EXCELLENT overall service and communication!! I would highly recommend them! They were able to bring my laptop back to life and restore my peace of mind. Thank you!

First time I post a comment ever, that's just how good they are. Not only were they able to fix my problem, they did it in an unbeatably short amount of time AND stayed open 5 more minutes after hours so I could come and pick up my laptop - barely 2.5 hours after dropping it off. Price was very reasonable. Just to give you an idea, I needed to recover data from my internal hard drive which had failed. I wasted 3 days dealing with Best Buy's Geek Squad, only to explain them how to do their own job properly and ask for a refund - got the money back, not the time. They analyzed the backup drive and not the main drive... and insightfully diagnosed it to be empty - I could have told them so myself. After what they told me they weren't equipped with the technology to read my Solid State internal hard drive - that is, after I pointed out to them which internal hard drive had data that needed to be recovered -, that they would have to send it out to a lab, that it could cost between $400 up to $1,800 and would take 6 to 8 weeks. With New York Computer Help, I walked in, they knew what I was talking about, they DEFINITELY knew what they were talking about, had all the necessary equipment, got the job done - successfully - in less than 3 hours and charged me $150. Anyway, I love them and if I ever have an issue again, I will not waste one second trying to figure out where to go. I am in Brooklyn so it takes me 45minutes to get there vs 15 to the closest Best Buy, but that trip is absolutely worth it. A huge thanks to the team in the lab! -Sandra

Many costly screw-ups. My computer was too old to be repaired. I needed the data, so they transferred the contents to an external hard drive, and messengered the hard drive to me. After a week, I saw that they had left out huge portions. They redid the transfer to another hard drive, which I paid for. I also paid to have it sent over. A few months later, I could not find a document that was on the other internal hard drive of the old computer. It turned out that they never even checked to see that there was another internal hard drive, so did not transfer anything from that hard drive. By this time, they had discarded the old computer. So that data is lost forever.

I called these guys when my laptop, the center of my world, wouldn't turn on, after making some long and painful noises combined with a lot of flashing lights. It's a Lenovo and that company is not easy to deal with for repairs. I spoke to someone and explained the issue and he said to bring it in the next day. We did and later that day I had access to all of my files, despite the fact that the motherboard was fried and the operating system was compromised, within hours I had my files on a disk and that was very important to me. My laptop was still under warrantee so they gave me the diagnosis and gave it back to me so I could ship it off to the Lenovo blackhole and get it fixed under warranty. I came in a few weeks ago regarding my work laptop that wouldn't turn on after I dropped it. I was freaking out because I had a business trip the next day, but this place was able to fix it within an hour!
