It was a long wait at customer service where they have the Western Union. I filled out the form to receive money and when I was finally helped, the rep continually asked if I was sending money. Then made a point of triple checking my information which was being entered incorrectly. I went to get some personal items and was very thankful it was not busy in there. I was helped right away by a very pleasant cashier.

Busy, busy, parking lot with rv's! I know Walmart is gracious and allows overnight stays ..... but these units had their slides out, stabilizers down, trailers unhooked, probably no less than 20 units in the parking lot. Store itself was ok, lots of empty shelves, no bottled water, sold out, plus this location does not carry produce. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

This is the best Walmart I have been to. It's rarely busy so shopping there isn't a nightmare. I also pick up my online shopping orders there and I am always served by friendly agents who obviously love their jobs. A couple of weeks ago, I picked up my Click and Collect order and three women came out to talk to me. It turned out they were doing some sort of customer satisfaction audit and, because it was my 17th online grocery order, they wanted to talk to me about how they could improve their service, which I thought was pretty cool and proactive. I definitely recommend shopping at this Walmart.

Somehow after shopping at this Walmart (I remember the Cashier asking if I wanted a Walmart MC, which I said no) I received a letter stating that I have enrolled in Walmart MC balance protection plan. I called them to close the fraudulent MC instantly, then a few days later the credit card showed up in the mail. Now the best part, today I received a letter stating that they have enrolled me in Walmart's Extended Warranty Plan for a monthly fee of $3.99 & you only have 30 Days to cancel, lucky I have enough days left to cancel this fraudulent enrolment tomorrow. I dont know how Walmart can apply for a MC under my name so easily without my consent. As a consequence I have a fraudulent account under my Credit bureau report (I am in the process of dealing with Trans Union and Equifax to remove the fraudulent account off my credit bureau) . I dont know if I could ever step foot in a Walmart again.

It is really a good store to buy grocery and other stuffs. But only problem is that it has only one halal section in the entire store and sometimes it goes out of stock as well. Has enough space for parking and wheelchair accessible entrance. When it comes to price it is good but not great. There are a lot of improvement can be made especially in the cutlery side. This Walmart is alright, although very convenient, as it is the super centre, and has a great selection. This location has a lot less pallets lying around than the Walmarts in Calgary, although this location is lacking self checkout which is unfortunate, as the express checkout can be very busy. Overall this Walmart is okay, but there are better ones.

I always shop at the south Wal-Mart for location convenience. I live almost an hour from town. Over the last 2 weeks they have a whole new set of clerks. I have now been charged over 10$ more for them double scanning only one item. This is frustrating considering it it the $8.00 or the more expensive item. If they cannot train their staff properly then I guess the thousand of dollars i spend will be spent elsewhere. I always watch and should not have to check and recheck my grocery bill before I leave the store!!!

It's not a Super Center just a regular size store. It gets very busy during holidays but nowadays it's slow due to lockdown and restrictions. It's a great place to shop although there's no dairy or meat section. Good meeting place too as McDonald's will open again next month for take out ONLY.

It has a very good selection, one of the best I've ever seen. This Wal-Mart is pretty clean too. My only complaints are they never seem to have enough cashiers on duty to handle the massive amounts of customers, and quite often there are pallets left in the aisles blocking the things I want to buy.

I used to like going here for everything. Lately there selection seems to be declining and they always seem to have a few isles completely torn apart. Needed to buy washer fluid and some bolts on my way out of town. Only went to Walmart because there weren't any hardware or auto parts stores anywhere close. Both the automotive and home improvement sections were a total mess. Tons of stuff out of stock. Products in the wrong places or just randomly piled on shelves. Missing shelf labels. Looked like no one had tended to these areas in weeks. The rest of the store seemed fine though, so probably just a department issue. Either way, I'm not willing to support stores that just take my business for granted.

It's Walmart... it is what it is. As a corporation with questionable business practices, it isn't the store to go to if you want quality products* or if you are a conscientious consumer. As a specific store, there is not as much selection as a city location (despite it's size), and the customer service is substandard (even by walmart standards). But it still does Walmart and perhaps that's all it needs to do. I can understand why staff are disgruntled, but if you are doing the job you might as well do your best until you leave. *For the quality comment: it's a matter of how they source their products. They may be the same manufacturer, and the shells may look the same, but that toaster or microwave will have a different product number than those offered elsewhere. Unless they have changed their practices (which to my knowledge they have not, and Walmart is not the only retailer where it happens), this is because they are such a large market for manufacturers they often dictate the item and pricing then do a sort of bidding process for what goes on their shelves. They determine they need a product in a certain price bracket and manufacturers will trim their products to make them meet that target. This process often means sourcing lower quality parts, than in the products offered elsewhere. It may be $10 less, but you may lose more than $10 in performance, functions, or reliability. (Which isn't an issue if people know about it, but the questionable ethics come into play when they are made to appear the same, when in fact they are not.)

There is a lot to take in at this northern location. Common areas of the store are clean while not so visible areas, not so much. Staff are friendly. Busy location, lots of season merchandise to choose from, ship to store for free. Pharmacy is extremely busy, seems to be short staffed much of the time. East Hills Walmart is famous with special promotional prices. It has free parking and handicap parking. Handicap access make it more convenience for customers. Helping customer service and sales associates. Specially supervisor walking around assisting customer and listening their complaints a d escalate customer related issues. Bakery section is marvelous cooking and backing fresh stuff and their smell makes you hungry It has public washroom. Special section of Gulutin free frozen product in Ayel 14. Makes life happy :)

I made an online order through the photocentre and received an email once it said it was delivered and signed to the store. Drove out 2 hours roundtrip to this closest Walmart to only have an employee who was NOT trained enough who lost the item and was no help at all... About a week later they finally found it and compensated for our troubles. It was really frustrating but i appreciate how management handled it, thank you.

This place was real busy and the customers were rude. Power went out while we were there and the staff (like any retail safety program I've seen) instructed the customers to go to the front of the store. There were a lot of mouthy customers and just plain ignorant people. As for the store the housewares area was trashed... Groceries were ok... What I expect from Walmart. Good if your on a budget. Groceries aren't great. If you don't mind a limited range of products and lots of prepacked goods with cheap ingredients, you will save. Very trashy looking place. Not a lot of people inside but the place looks decrepit. Doors won't even open properly. Light posts are crooked because cars have hit them several times from parking (lack of curb stops in each stalls). The landscape is horrible. Carts are scattered everywhere. The staff in the garden centre were really helpful and patient when helping me look for a particular shrub. The black bark mulch was very well priced at only $3.00 per bag. It is worth the drive out to get around the line ups usually found in the other Walmarts.

I took my son's glasses to get fixed, on a Monday and by Friday still had not heard back from the eye care place so I called and asked why it was taking so long they told me they had forgotten about them!! Really nice!! If that's customer service what a joke, then they said they would fix them and get back to me early Saturday , and still no call, so I went in there and they proceed to tell me there is nothing they can do for me the glasses are unfixable, in the mean time all fing week my son couldn't see.and you then tell me that!! This Walmart is ridiculous! There is hardly ANY parking and most of it is for handicappers. It's a smaller scaled down version of Walmart. For a new store it's pretty dumpy. I'm amazed at how unkept this Walmart is. The selection is of products is very low and doesn't really change over time either. I'm not sure if it's because it's in the Yukon and Walmart does not care to much about smaller location and therefore does not do proper training? Good selection of clothing, houseware, sporting goods etc. Including auto products. You do get what you pay for so don't expect high quality. I do shop for work clothing as I rather pay cheap as to not worry about damaging/dirting my good clothes. Ample parking for disabled and family.

I love this Walmart it's my go to location. I do caution you if you want to exchange or return an item I have been accused on a few occasions of being a "scammer" a couple times I was almost brought to tears in frustration and from being treated like a criminal! I actually now go to deerfoot Walmart to do any exchanges or refunds it was that bad.

Only complaint I have is the employees are under paid thus making them not care about customer service. Went in looking for play sand. Asked 2 employees who did not have a clue what play sand is and told me to ask a caucasian employee who told me no. Then while I was walking back to my car noticed an entire pallet of bags Labelled "play sand" but was locked up behind a gate so was unable to obtain any. Ended up going to the north one and got my sand hassle free.

My experience at this Walmart was aweful, particularly the vision center. I spent over $300 at their shop on a pair of glasses (which included measuring my pupillary distance), a while later I came in and asked if they could look up my file and tell me my pupillary distance. They told me that they would not, unless I paid them another $25. When I pay that much money for something as simple as a pair of glasses, I am paying in large part for their customer service, something which they have proven that they have absolutely none off.
