Tried desperately to buy a couch, was told they couldn't (wouldn't) sell the floor model even though there were none of those couches in stock. Was told "they need to keep the showroom looking full." Still no couch. Thanks for nothing Leon's. Take your money elsewhere folks.

Any dealings ive had so far with Leons in Yarmouth have been great. I had a problem with my couch. They came and fixed it. Easy does it. However my only complaint is that their prices are fixed. They arent willing to negotiate cheaper prices like other local competitors.

Great prices. Very friendly, helpful staff. My father was in need of a dishwasher and fridge. He has had a stroke and has difficulty with verbal communication, so I had to go with him to help him communicate. The staff was very friendly and understanding and treated my father with respect. This was not the case in some of the other place we went and got quotes from. This is what made our decision to buy from Leon's very easy.

I ordered a couch in December. Was told it would be 12 to 14 weeks (even though the flyer ad said 10 to 12 weeks). It was mid July before I got the couch. Also, the couch I got is much firmer than the one in the showroom. I had prepaid for the couch in December and asked for the delivery charge to be added to my bill. It wasn't. I said I wasn't paying delivery after waiting this long. They insisted on me paying half the delivery charge. They got their $34.50 but lost a repeat customer.

Some nice options at good prices. Staff helpful and not pushy like other similar stores so that was a nice refreshing change. Partly because of this we stayed longer and ended up buying all of our furniture needs here.

Prices are high. Bought a mattress from them and tested it on the floor. The one there was much softer than what I had gotten at home. Honestly never had a bed so hard in my life. Bought a washer and dryer as well. The washer seems to have issues when I wash towels and the dryer already needed a replacement part that I had to call the company directly to replace as no one in the area service lg appliances. They do have friendly staff and the store itself is pretty clean. When I bought the washer and dryer I did have issues finding staff that was available to help us.

Honestly, I have never been treated so well in a situation with a salesperson. My father went in for the Boxing Day sale, and while he didn't walk away with what he went in for, he did get something even better. The salesman was attentive and helpful, and even listened as my father ranted on about something that didn't matter to anyone... Even with a busy store. Spectacular service.

NEVER buy anything from Leon's!!!!!!!! I ordered furniture from them back in October 2016, it never arrived on time, I cancelled my order which they approved and said I would just have to pay the Desjardins processing fee of under $90. I thought this was quite ridiculous considering, so I refused to pay as I never received any furniture, never received any money from Desjardins or this "card" they said I would receive in the mail. Leon's told me I would need to receive the card in order to officially cancel this. I called Desjardins and Leon's COUNTLESS times to get this card to finalize this thing and NEVER received it. Desjardins told me they didn't even have an account under my name, address OR SIN number! Leon's wouldn't do much to help me, and said it was between me and Desjardins. Desjardins would send me to Leon's to fix the issue and back and forth. It was both Leon's AND Desjardins issues to help me fix! YEARS later after being HARASSED by Desjardins, I finally said I would pay the fee of LESS THAN $90, if they would STOP harassing me and fix my credit as this was their fault. They promised me they would, in writing in March of 2019. So I sent off the cheque by mail (which was extremely inconvenient) and was told by Desjardins that my credit was fixed. FAST FORWARD to today, June 10th, 2019 when I am trying to get a loan at the bank. Well guess what, I was rejected because I have 3 accounts not paid with DESJARDINS!? So now this is costing me money, and I have to wait a month for an investigation to take place to dispute my credit. I NEVER HAD MY HANDS ON ANY FURNITURE, LOAN, MONEY OR MYSTERIOUS CARD! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from Leon's or take a "loan" which you will not have access to from Desjardins unless you want to be HARASSED for years (over less than $90 which shouldn't even have been paid in the first place!) and SCREWED OVER on your credit.

Over two week for delivery of a chair

Bought and paid for table and chair set in November of 2020. Was told 4-6 weeks but allow up to 12 weeks because of Covid. Called end of January 2021 was told " its still at the warehouse in Scarborough, this friday or in 3 weeks". Fast forward to February 26th 2021. Called and was told its still at the warehouse and we have no idea when it will be in. Received call March 2nd 2021, they left a message saying end of March or longer. This is ridiculous. Bad first impression Leons. I would suggest buying nothing from this store unless it is on the floor and can be taken the same day.

Customer service is pushy, no stock available, I recommend avoiding this store. Shady sales tactics and weird excuses for why you can't buy stock. Just a bad experience all around.
