Like you know people always make comments either when screwed or when their expectation was exceeded. This is one in a million eye care Center. Moved away from Windsor and had to mail my frame back for the lenses to be corrected. Paul not only changed the lens for free, but he also mailed them back to me for free! Plz tell me why this office doesn't deserve a 5 Star! Very very nice guy and very much relatable! I'm very grateful for everything Paul. Kind regards

Incredible service. I called with an emergency due to a broken pair of glasses. I was unable to book an eye exam quickly so they set me up with a "loaner" pair of glasses by popping my current lenses into an extra pair they had. (I eventually was allowed to keep this loaner pair for free.)I don't think many companies would go to this length to help a customer. They were very thorough and detail oriented when it came to the new standards due to Covid-19. Everything was wiped down several time during my visits. The staff is friendly and helpful. After speaking to Paul for only a few minutes you can see how passionate he is about his craft. 10/10 would recommend.

I use to always buy my glasses at COSTCO, always thinking the cheaper the better. How wrong I was. Not to say that Visions of Canada is expensive. The price you pay at Visions is for quality frames, lenses and services. The entire staff works as a team to ensure the customer has the best experience possible. I feel my vision has improved since I started buying my glasses from Visions of Canada. Paul and the staff of Visions never make you feel rushed, or inferior for asking questions. I am glad that I found Visions of Canada for their optical magic. Looking forward to many more years of their wonderful products and services.

Booked an appointment to the place as a new patient didn't know what to expect. I read good things about them, so I booked a appointment for 11:45AM/12pm on my only day off for some reason my phone wasn't working and visions called me and left me a voicemail saying if i can come in earlier? How was I suppose to be up that early to listen to a voicemail saying come in earlier? So Im on my way there I call visions and the receptionist was very rude saying that "we can't take you at 12 the optometrist has to go" I was like what does that even mean?!? I told her I'm in the parking lot basically and she's like sorry she has another appointment she didn't care what I had to say until I told her I was going to write a review. Horrible customer service, rude receptionist, and unprofessional when you set up a patient with a appointment don't tell them that you're too busy to take them. RUDE DON'T GO HERE.

I have bought two pairs of sunglasses from Angela at Visions of Canada. The experience is always exceptional and Angela is a true pro when it comes to glasses and providing unmatched service. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I was looking for - and for a great price. I broke my glasses the day before I was leaving out for vacation. called up visions Of Canada hoping they can get my glasses fixed same day & Kayla told me to come in. Kayla was determined to get my glasses fixed she literally did not leave my side until my glasses were fixed & looked brand new and I was 100% satisfied with how they felt. while she was working on the frame I had a chance to meet the doctor who checked my eyes, super friendly and funny ! Stop, do not go anywhere else. This is the shop for everyone and after traveling and living in many places around the world, I do speak from experience. I am also aware that people are coming in from New York for the quality and service at this store. There is just not enough to say about the selection, quality, supportive staff and service from Visions of Canada on Riverside Drive, Windsor. I have recommended them to others who say they are expensive, but I did not find this when compared to other places at all. I am also a careful shopper so this is definitely not the case. What a pleasure to have these people care about how they look, how they fit, take careful measurements to make sure the prescription will work and are open to follow up service at all times. Who could ask for more, these folks are great and stand behind their products.

Yes, the price was abit on high side but you pay for their time and quality products here. I have been going to another location in the Windsor area since before I can remember, but didn’t like the service received in the last couple visits and being a long time customer I was pretty disappointed so I decided to give Visions of Canada a try. I read all the reviews and was also referred by a colleague. I Called spoke to Angela she made me an appointment and was able to go the next day. They have all covid measures in place, you will feel completely safe in this establishment. Angela greeted me at the door and gave me one on one personalized service, didn’t mind me taking my time and not once did I feel rushed. We found thee perfect pair for my progressive lenses! Then I was met with Kayla who was a pleasure as well, helped get my frames adjusted to make sure everything would fit perfectly. I then had the pleasure to meet Paul! He made sure that my progressive lenses were in the best spot for me to see everything both near and far without having to adjust my frames on my face. (This was something I told him I did frequently with my other pair ) From beginning to end the service was impeccable. I am a stickler for customer service and they exceeded even my expectations. If you need glasses and want to be treated with care you must visit Visions of Canada ! Oh and let me not forget I got them back in less than 2 days and I got a goodie bag filled with essentials! The other place used to take weeks to get my frames to me. I highly recommend!

When Paul called me, he made it sound like we were going to sit down together and he was going to explain to me the science behind my specific eyeglass prescription. He never did that, nor did he even talk to me there at all. The prices were outrageous for my lenses; I was given all these add ons to my lens that cost more without my knowledge. My eye exam was rushed and not very thorough. All in all, it was not a good experience.

In my opinion, Paul Boyko and his team operate the finest and most professional optical services business for hundreds of miles in any direction, bar none. I am a long-haul client of Visions, but I have tried other options in the past, never receiving anywhere near the quality of service or optical product that Visions provides consistently. Today I picked-up a new set of Hugo Boss sunglasses with Rodenstock lenses. My prescription is on the complex side, but my new glasses are spot-on! The sun poked-out on my drive home and on first try they are perfect - no need to "adjust". Compared to my previous set of sunglasses, it is like changing from 1080p to 4K, without exaggeration! Astonishing clarity and comfort! Thank you again from a very satisfied client.

Last week was my first visit to the new store. Lots of free parking with a great view. Had an eye exam by a thorough and informative doctor who made sure I understood the results of the exam. Very good customer service, but sucking insurance company and making fool of customers by talking sweetly. They give prescriptions for reading glasses and if you don't need glasses, they can even adjust with sunglasses by charging exorbitant. I was told that sunglasses are of $400 and I have to pay the difference of $100 as my insurance company was paying only $300 and I will receive a check from insurance company directly. They are going to take care of everything, which never happened. When i went to them again after a month and asked the price of same sunglasses lady told me $300, which was really shocking to me. I was really upset with the whole episode. My reading glasses got scratches within few months though they say that the quality of lenses they use are excellent. I am never ever going back to them. Just want to tell the owner that besides best customer service in town, you need to add honestly too in the business.

This place is the most over rated optician in the city of Windsor. After being convinced progressive lenses were for me they redid them again and they were worse the second time. Almost 700$ later I have to pay to buy cheater glasses to read my iPhone. Very displeased.

I just bought a new pair of glasses from Vision of Canada. It’s my third time to visit this place. The staffs are always helpful. Alesha(hope I spelled right) was helping me with choosing frames. She was so patient and making sure I found the pair that I like. Another young lady (sorry for not remembering her name) helped me when I picked up my glasses the other day. I would say comparing with other optical store, this place charges you reasonable prices and offers you wonderful customer service. This might sound weird but I recently drove from NC to Windsor for a pair of glasses...why? I have a difficult prescription (~ -18,-15) and high index poly glasses in the US are not only very thick but they are also extremely heavy. I usually wear contacts but I really wanted to have glasses to give my eyes a break...So, after doing a lot of research I found out about Zeiss high index glass lenses. The only problem was that they are not currently allowed in the US. So, after a long distance consultation with Paul at Visions of Canada I decided to drive to Windsor.... My new glasses are not only super thin and light they also give me a better quality of vision. I I am so glad I found about Visions of Canada and I really hope this review helps anyone out there who has a high prescription and does not know about Zeiss thin lenses.

I took my very excited yet nervous 13 year old daughter to Visions of Canada to try contact lenses for the first time. Most places I called said she was too young. I was the same age when I had contacts. Nisa met us at the door and spend over an hour with her showing her how to clean, insert, and remove the lenses. Stopped in to get a new pair of glasses after not finding what I wanted at other optical stores. Sherry helped me and picked out several pairs that fit my needs; ended up getting the 1st pair she suggested. She also worked with my health care plan coverage so that I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket.....something that another optical store in the downtown area would not do for me for the identical pair of glasses. They have a great selection of frames, staff is helpful, and their new location offers ample free parking behind their store.

The people at Visions of Canada are exceptional! I bought a pair of vintage sunglasses from the 60’s that were too big. After visiting multiple places with no luck, I was beginning to lose hope. When I brought my sunglasses to Visions, they were genuinely interested and determined to adjust my sunglasses as best they could without damaging them (vintage sunglasses are prone to cracking during adjustment because the plastic gets brittle over time). They are super knowledgable and explained what they were doing and why so I learned a lot too. And best of all, my sunglasses fit now ???? thank you to these wonderful people!

My sister and I were looking for coloured contacts for a few years and we decided Halloween would be our excuse to get some. We didn't know much about contacts but found out that they sold them here. We decided to stop in and check it out. We were so, so pleased with the contacts but the employee helping us was the best part of the experience. She was so helpful and genuinely caring, we left there with such big smiles on our faces! I think that Visions of Canada deserves five stars! My husband and I both had thorough eye exams by conscientious staff. The front staff is very friendly. The care that Paul Boyko takes in making sure that you understand your prescription is impressive; you can tell he loves his work. As well, I have never seen an optician that is so precise in his measurements. As for price, it was more than we expected; but if you have an unusual prescription like mine, then you welcome having the thinnest lenses you can find for comfort and appearance. I have never seen such fine lenses for my prescription. Just a note: For the first visit at least, don't plan anything too soon after for appointments. You will be a while.

Extremely overpriced prescription glasses and forceful customer service. If you’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting a tourist trap, this would be a very similar experience. I decided to go to Visions of Canada for a simple eye checkup and potential lenses change. What I did not anticipate was to be bombarded by a sales team of 3 ladies after my eye exam trying to convince me to purchase the most expensive lenses I have ever been offered. Highlight from my visits involved one of the sales representatives insisting that I looked at their frames even though I had explicitly refused 3 times. Her coworkers assisted her by insistently telling me about how amazing their frames looked on me. At the same time they kept insulting the quality of my original glasses which they had requested be given to them at the start of my visit. I went to this store to have my eyes taken care of, not to be exploited. If you go in for a checkup or a change of lenses, be prepared for the following: 1. You will be told that your eye refraction is so unique that you require lenses that cost approximately $800. This is based on not only my experience, but my friend’s experience months earlier that I will discuss later. 2. Be coerced into getting a new frame (they wouldn’t change your lenses unless the frame is bought from them, which I’d never experienced at other places, and I’ve worn glasses for 20+ years). 3. Expect a 180 change in the demeanour of the sales representatives the moment you choose not to buy any big-ticket items. As mentioned, when I first entered I was welcomed with exaggerated enthusiasm, which peaked when they found out I might get new lenses. However, when they learned I was not going to buy the $980 prescription glasses they offered after all one of the front desk ladies rolled her eyes at me. One of the sales staff tried to deter me from comparing prices with other places by insulting the other stores (which I never even said I was going to) and tried to persuade me to set up a payment plan, sensing that I was taken aback by their pricing. The eyewear industry in Canada is as profitable for the sellers and as exploiting for the customers as it is; please save yourself some money and distress by not going to this place, where you’d be paying not only for their profit from glasses, but also for their rent (huge space on the riverfront), overstaff (whose only job was to upsell you), and unethical practice. The quality of glasses from Visions of Canada is no better than other places despite what they might tell you, because at the end of the day, they all get their products from the same manufactures!

I've never written a review before, but I feel compelled to do so in this case. My husband and I have been going to Visions of Canada for about a decade. Both my husband and two year old daughter have a rare genetic retinal disease that requires special attention for their glasses. When our daughter received her first prescription at 1 year old, we knew the staff at Visions would be able to find the right type of lens for her, and as always they delivered! Paul and his friendly and knowledgeable staff offer the trendiest frames and I have no idea how they are able to make such strong lenses so thin! I just picked up ergonomic glasses and it is the best self care I have done for myself. I was suffering from pressure in my brain trying to focus with my prescription glasses.
