Brought my laptop there 3.5 months ago to repair the dc ac power jack. Brought early enough for same day service and was told the replacement part was there, then was told it was misplaced and I'd have to wait a day or so. Cost me $141 and it's only been 3.5 months and it was already detached/broken. Laptop is kept on a desk so there is not significant stress to the port. Took apart laptop to find the dc jack replacement was quite short and essentially pulled its soldering off itself. Disappointed with the service. Kal seems like a nice guy; perhaps this was just a fluke, but regardless I'm not happy.

The guy at Orange PC was really knowledgeable and most importantly honest. Lots of places will tell you things they need to repair with your PC just to get money out of you but he was straight up and to the point. His charges are: Free to look at the computer $35 to open it up and diagnose $100 to make repairs He was able to diagnose the issue with my laptop without even opening it up but I still paid the $35 to make sure that was the issue and he turned out to be correct. Before suggesting that I pay $400 for a new motherboard, he suggested I call the laptop company and tell them the technical issues and ask for a replacement. Definitely recommend going here if you're having issues with your computer!

Tried to over sell replacing my laptop hardrive talking about manual labor $80, and the part $100. Might work on older people who don't know anything about computers but it took me 2 mins to take off the back of my laptop and replace myself for a grand total of $90. as oppose to $200. I thank him for telling me which type of drive to get but that's about it

My laptop crashed one morning last week while I was finalizing a big paper for school. Kal at Orange PC was recommended to me so I marched in with my dying computer in-hand. Almost immediately, he was able to tell me what was wrong with it and what was required for fixing it. Within a half hour, Kal was able to get my school files off the hard drive and for a very reasonable price. He also had options for me in terms of fixing the computer or options for a new one. This is the guy you want to come to when servicing your PC. I bought my components on newegg, and memory express and tried to build my PC, but i mistakenly have killed my own mobo and wanting a solution out of it, i contacted and went to Orange PC and they ran a full diagnostics trying to pin-point the cause of my issue. Suffice to say, im truly grateful for the person who helped me repair my issue and know what went wrong in terms of me trying to build my first PC. The technician there was very serious about his business and reassured me numerous times that he wanted more of an issue than it was about the money; and wanted an answer to everything that was happening with my pc. IF YOU ARE A VIDEO EDITOR OR 3D MODELER-- read my review for an accurate experience of what it was like with Orange PC pertaining to our line of work: WOW, I will not go anywhere else for a computer of this magnitude other than Orange PC. 2 years ago, I shopped around all over Windsor Essex for a place that could build a PC that could handle heavy heavy editing. I went to a bunch of different places, and was not satisfied. I was about to go to Orange PC, but then I was recommended another place by a relative so I went there first. They ended up being a horrible decision, they built me a gaming PC and did not take me seriously when I told them the parts I had been quite sure I needed; they kept insisting that the parts I needed were of a much lower standard. Upon their constant insistence and them making me feel like I had no idea what I was talking about-- I purchased the PC with the specs that they told me I would need (against my better judgement-- at the time I was very "pliable" in the sense that I could not handle conflict well and I was not as well versed in computer hardware). This PC could not handle or even play the degree of footage I was working with. Every time I went back to them and asked for their help, they gave me rude attitude-- telling me there was no way I needed higher end parts for what I was doing. They clearly didn't take me seriously as a working professional (I am a petite female that looks very very young, despite the fact that I was of the age of graduating University when I bought my PC from them). The last straw was when I asked them to take a look at my computer again and they told me it could take 3 days before they even touched it and if there was major issues, my computer could be in there for diagnostics for much longer. My computer is my lifeline! I need it EVERY DAY; my entire job rests on it, (and thus obviously- my entire means of paying for my living expenses!) I realized I had to cut my loses with them and that they would not help me. It was then that I went to Orange PC. FINALLY, I found a place that took me seriously, listened to my concerns and issues and provided me with multiple solutions to the problems I was dealing with. The owner, Kal, is a really nice and helpful person. He was never condescending to me and never made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. When I decided which route I wanted to take with my PC, he had it up and running in 1 and 1/2 hours after the parts he ordered for it had come in. This allowed me to keep working every day on all my jobs, and I didn't have to sacrifice 3+ valuable days worth of time of my computer gathering dust waiting to be looked at in the other store. PC works like a charm now and I am saving so much time now that it runs to the degree that I had always needed it to. Obviously, the hardware in this field of computers is not cheap and I honestly wasted thousands of dollars that I can't get back now because I hadn't gone to Orange PC in the first place. Kal got everything I needed right THE FIRST TIME and his prices for labour were great and COMPLETELY fair (actually cheaper than the place I originally went to.) I would recommend this place to anyone, my overall experience was amazing; the only thing I wish-- was that I came here sooner!

I am very satisfied with service from Microtec Computers. I thought that my win 7 laptop (converted to Win 10) could not be repaired. I had a repeated problem of it not booting up. The issue was a failed video card and the repair at another store had fixed only part of the problem. Microtec promptly identified the problem and returned it to me in a couple of hours. It is working fine now and I am happy to use Microtec again in the future.

He reformatted the computer (which already was done) and cleaned the fans Even though my computer wasn't fixed, I was on the hook for the full amount. He told me he would send pictures of the dust inside the computer, but now that he has my money, why would he go out of his way to send them?

Orange PC has been around for over 30 years. I remember getting my second computer from Kal. I recently was having issues with my 2 years old desktop and to my surprise Kal was still working. 15 years later I walk in and Kal hasn’t changed a bit. He is very respectful, listens and provides advice. In my situation he exhausted all avenues to fix the pc. After a few phone calls the motherboard and power supply had to be replaced. He was able to save some components from the old pc keeping the price down. His price was very reasonable and on top of all that, the pc was fixed in 3hrs. Just incredible service. It’s difficult now a days to find someone that is honest and provides great service. Like all the other reviews go see Kal. I will continue to see him for all my pc needs.

Great customer service, they were very honest when I came in to upgrade a new laptops Ram, told me it wouldn't be able to use the extra ram, as it simply didn't have the specs for it. They told me to return it and spent the time helping me pick out a better one on my phone within the same price range, at a different store. I returned that laptop, and visited them a second time with the better laptop, still to upgrade ram. Once again they were honest, said this one didn't need the Ram upgrade, it would still benefit a little bit from the upgrade, but they said it wouldn't be worth the money. Will definitely be coming back to them for all my computer needs.

Can't say enough. Computer was brought in for an issue with boot up. Fixed next day very reasonable rate. However, it began to have the same issues a couple months later, computer was very old. Brought it back in and it was looked at right away. I was given a diagnosis and couple of options almost immediately. I was treated in a very friendly and fair manner. I ended up getting a great deal on a new machine which I am very pleased with. I will not be going anywhere else for my computer needs.
