I contacted this store to get a quote for a screen repair. They then wouldn't honor the price they gave, saying I told them the wrong phone model. When I proved I hadn't via screenshots, they apologized and still refused to honor their pricing, wasting time and gas for us. Don't bother with them.

Visited to replace a bulging battery on a Pixel 2. After checking all the booths in the Mall not only did Experimax have the parts for my phone in stock they also provided the best price quote. Experimax’s staff was both knowledgeable about the product, and the repair that was necessary. After fully disclosing the risks of working on my model of phone (sealed case without screws) I agreed to proceed with the repair and it was completed within an hour. Don't waste your time shopping around, simply bring your device to these experts for prompt, professional and cost-conscious service!

This place is such a joke. The owner clearly has no idea how to run a business. She’s asked me to meet her at the store on several occasions to purchase an old iPhone of mine, & she hasn’t even been there. Every time she’d finally show up, she’d try lowballing me by finding “problems” with the device. After going to great lengths to remedy the “problems,” she’d find another excuse. If you have any issues with your Apple products, I highly recommend going to the Apple Store at Somerset Mall in Troy, Michigan, or the Apple Store at White Oaks Mall in London, Ontario, as this store is NOT an Apple authorized service provider. Beware!!

I changed my Samsung Galaxy S8 screen here and it came off in few weeks. Another thing is that they claims that they are installing original screen but its totally fake screen. It has dust in front camera and getting lots of scratches. Seems like it cheap plastic screen instead of gorilla glass. I paid $250 for fake screen. Be careful before visiting this shop..... :(

Amir was a lifesaver. I had a bad battery for the last year or so and he barely glanced at my phone and knew the issue and model and fix the issue in less than five minutes and saved me the trouble of have to wait to order a new battery online of questionable quality. It was a reasonable price for the cable and battery and saved me the trouble of replacing a 2 year old phone. I will definately return in the future if i need phone repairs.

Amazing service! I dropped off my MacBook Air to see if it was fixable and within 15 minutes received a call saying that they can do it. It was fast cheap and the employees are super nice. They cleaned the computer, re set my settings and helped explain why my Mac stopped working in the first place and how to avoid the issue from happening again. Transacting business with you was a wonderful experience. This is the best place to repair your Apple devices, if the parts needed are not available, wait for them to source the parts for you. Don’t go to other places (I am saying this from 2 experiences but I’ll share one). I had issues with my MacBook Pro, took it to another high profile shop. I was told it was it repairable, they even told me to sell it to them as scrap or for parts. I brought it to Experimax and I was told they would fix it. I doubted them because of what I had heard earlier. They fixed it back to the old state and it is working perfectly. Thank you Experimax.

My macbook took exactly 5 days to be repaired. Price is not as bad, and allowed me to loan another macbook for free which is a really good service. Good service overall and picks up phone calls quick too which is really good.

Wife was quoted a repair price through their 'Get a Quote' option, business owner quoted 375 dollars. When I arrived they baited and switched to 550 dollars. When shown screen shots of the quote, proving the quote, they refused to honor their quote. They claim they are a small family business, but just search their name into Google. You will get several hits from several different cities in Canada and internationally. Bottom line: take your business anywhere else for proper customer service.

Called Experimax at Devonshire Mall to replace my iMac's old mechanical hard drive with a brand new SSD. My computer had been running slow and crashing too often. So glad I called here - I had a bit of a timing issue and they were able to put in the new drive very quickly the same day. They also cleaned all the dust out of the interior which helps with performance. The price was very reasonable, certainly better than how much I would have to spend for a new iMac, and it does run like new! Highly recommend these guys.

I have a 128GB iPad Air 1st generation with an old, poor performing battery which would only accept a charge while turned off overnight. When on, would deplete very quickly to the point of being unusable. Of course I had tried various repair depots, including Apple, and all where cost prohibitive for an aging iPad. This company was repairing a phone. Had kept the phone for parts after new one ws bought. After hearing the owner wants the phine back (30 min after leaving) they broke the phone from front and back like vindictive buffoons. Unprofessional and greedy to a fault. The business will fail. If you want a basic job done. Im sure they can help..obviously. But the empliyees want to make extra cash on the side at any chance. So be wary. They are children when it comes to this area. Really cool technique to access a phones memory without its screen or touch interface... Great methods and tools. Due to losing out on a phone this still is a 1 star review. Some times these things happen. Bad exprience.

This store was a lifesaver! Couple months back my MacBook Pro died on me where in order to save it I had to replace the entire keyboard which is not a cheap fix if you were to go through Apple. Their pricing was very, very reasonable. The staff was very polite, informative, and took care of my MacBook and got it up and running within a couple of hours. SCAM & FRAUD ALERT!! I brought my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 into the Experimax at Devonshire Mall to have the glass screen replaced at a cost of $340. When I got home and removed the temporary plastic coating I noticed spider cracking coming from the same corner which was originally broken. I returned it to Experimax not even 24 hours after picking it up and was told that there was nothing they could do. I am a single father living paycheque to paycheque. Avoid store at all costs!!! PAY THE EXTRA MONEY TO GO TO A LEGIT STORE THAT ACTUALLY STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES!!!!

Recently just came in with my iPhone X. The screen was cracked, the battery needed replacing, and the charger port was busted. I came in expecting a bill of around 500 dollars, and at that price I was better off buying a new phone. To my surprise Experimax only charged me 200 to fix everything. They were super nice about it, and after only a half hour they were able to fix my phone like brand new quality. Screen works perfect and Face ID sensors are also fine. My battery now lasts 8 hour opposed to the 30 minutes I got with the previous one. And now my charger works! Experimax saved me from buying a new phone, and I definitely recommend for repairing as they have such good prices and quality.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED Brought my business laptop for repairs and clearly discussed with a staff member ensuring to safeguard all software and documents, which they guaranteed to be done. I was returned a completely wipe clean laptop without any documents or existing software and even more insulting I was told it that this was my fault that nothing could not be saved “I dropped my laptop”.....funny thing....I use my laptop as a desktop in my office.... The supposed technician also complained to me over the phone that he spent an extra 2 hours on my computer and didn’t even get paid for it. Would not recommend this location to anyone...AVOID...????

They agreed to take it and repair right away so we didn't have to leave it overnight and wouldn't have to come back. They offered either OEM or alternate glass, we chose OEM and are very happy with the result. Service was excellent!!!

I hate writing negative reviews but even the day I was buying my MacBook Pro, I was interrupted by other customers as I was purchasing it which the person helping me took about 20 minutes to help them while I was there first. (im very quiet, hence why I let him help them for so long) This laptop has endless issues including unable to download music, computer doesn't recognize my password for Apple ID (I log into it on my phone all the time so I know it's not the wrong password), caps locks barely works and it is super slow. Incredibly disappointing as I paid just about the same price as I would for a brand new one, which I wish I did instead.

My MacBook Pro screen shattered when it felt down and I called this Experimax location to get a quote and schedule an appointment. I was able to get the screen replaced thee same day with a 1 hour wait for CA$ 599 + GST. A few days later the screen actually came out tone defective and started showing these horizontal lines and Experimax was quick to get this screen replaced with a new one without any additional cost. They're very honest about what they can do. They told me our phone has a low chance to work again with their procedures, we took the risk and they were right. It did not turn on. (water damage) Screen repairs, battery, and recent water exposure I'd recommend. My phone was repaired by Apple at the end for almost 70% of the phones price, they had to investigate the motherboard and replace resistors, capacitors, etc.. (actual engineering). I'd recommend if you have water damage and you cant right away take it to experimax, buy 99% isoprpyl, sink the phone in it until you can TAKE IT IN!! (You'll need a new screen, but you'll save money and your phone/battery)

When I called to ask if he could fix my screen he told me he could and would see me the next day. It wasn't till I drove all the way to the city he told me he didn't have my screen. He told me to come back Monday when he opened and it would be fixed. Came back and he didn't have it done. Had to walk circles in the mall with my toddler waiting on it to be fixed. Went back for my phone and the screen has a red hue in all the shadows. He insisted it was just my picture. I showed him pictures on my phone I took with a professional camera. He then told me he would order me another screen replace the one he just did to show me that it's just how the screens are. Never called. That was a few weeks ago. I paid $400 for a screen that is off on the color. The only thing I'm happy about is being able to fix the screen enough to save the pictures and videos.

My MacBook Pro screen went suddenly psychedelic on me. Called Apple Support and found out closest repair center was in London, Ontario, two hours away. I said, forget it. I'm going local. So I called Experimax and got Amair on the phone who told me to bring it in. He knew the problem immediately (a defective design that gets worse with wear and tear) and told me to have seat. It was repaired in about 40 minutes, and he helped format a new external hard disk for me. He was very skilled, very professional, and I would not hesitate to bring another device there for repair--I just wish these Apple products go back to being the high quality devices they were when Jobs was alive.

Brought my MacBook Air to Experimax- Chatham location with severe water/pop (a whole can of pop) damage from 2 weeks ago with very very little hope of being able to save it. The laptop was not functioning at all. The guys at Experimax (I believe Harris is the one who fixed it? Didn't get the names of the other guys!) are amazing! I just picked my laptop up after them having it for 2 days, and it works just as good as it did the day I bought it brand new. They took pictures of the inside of my laptop when they took it apart and showed me what it looked like before they cleaned it, it looked like someone had spilled a whole bottle of maple syrup all over the inside. Still wet/damp from 2 weeks ago when the pop was spilt on it. They said they used "ultra sonic cleaning" on it. I am completely amazed and grateful for the guys at Experimax. Amazing price, amazing people, they were awesome at communicating with me through the whole experience. I am usually a very loyal geek squad/Best Buy customer, but I will now always use Experimax for all of my Apple Product needs
