I brought a bike to City Cyclery to repair multiple problems (some caused by my own attempts to repair the bike). An employee (busy working on another bike) took the time to listen to me, examine the bike, figured out the problems and to my amazement, within 20 minutes, repair the bike (I was told at another bike shop that because they were so busy, it would take 3 weeks to repair it). On top of it all, the costs were well below what I expected. I was so impressed that I decided to write this post - probably the first one I've ever written about any company.

After getting bicycle tune up from Bike Kitchen, we are very upset and sad then we went to City Cyclery today (17/7/2021), got tuned up both our bicycles and we are vey happy to see our bikes got into great shape. The staff are friendly and very down to earth, they are experienced and their skill level is exceptional. We highly recommend City Cyclery for any repairs and tune ups.

Got my bike in for an emergency repair plus a tune-up in no time, and it felt like a whole new bike on my ride back home. Excellent and friendly service, thank you! More details - On my way into work on a Friday, my rear quick-release skewer snapped and fell out. I was able to get an appointment to drop the bike off same-day, immediately after work. I opted in for a tune-up and paid the very reasonable skip-the-line fee to have the work done in a reasonable timeframe for my needs. Not even an hour later, I got a call that the work was done and I could pick the bike back up Saturday morning. Can't thank them enough for such a speedy turnaround!

Amazing service! I stopped in last week on my lunch hour for a quick repair thinking I’d need to leave my wheel and come back later in the week to pick up. I have garbage luck with tubes and tires, and I beat on my bike pretty good, and they've always kept it tip-top (as much as I've allowed, anyway). I've been going to Ben since the old incarnation of CC and he's been a stand-up guy every step of the way. Now that he's at the helm I only have that much more confidence, and the rest of the crew is great too. Personable and friendly, while-you-wait service, and most importantly, these guys really care about bikes and cyclists. Don't know what else you could want! Will go here forever.

Sleek and beautiful store layout, professional and courteous staff. I've had a couple bikes repaired here in the last 3 years and have been extremely satisfied with the service, price, and results every time. They offer very reasonable monthly payment plans for even their most expensive models and let you test-ride anything you like. They also used to host local music nights which added an additional touch of magic to an already awesome shop. I'd highly recommend this place.

Bad experience. Got a tire change they installed backwards. Should have called it quits there. Asked about tuneup Told me they would take 2-4days. It took 11. Then they blamed it on the bike washer. Pretty bad customer service. If you like waiting, this is the place for you.

I took my bike in today to get my back tire & tube fixed, which they did in no time at all. They also checked over my brakes & inflated my front tire a bit more at no charge. On the way home, my front tire popped (because I had let it sit for a long time) so I took it back totally expecting to pay since it was my fault for letting my bike sit for so long without getting it fixed. They insisted on covering the cost of they new tube since they were the ones that inflated it last. I would highly recommend anyone to go there. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Be careful regarding warranty & product support for purchases. These guys do not stand behind the products they sell & will blame you for any mechanical failures and offer repairs for a price or no support at all. Terrible ethics regardless of safety concerns. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Ben, an owner and mechanic at City Cyclery, provides excellent service and generously shares his knowledge of bikes. Recently, he quickly repaired a shifter on a child's bike for me, replacing parts appropriately. Plus, he's done a fantastic job finding a trunk-mounted bike rack for my car. Ben has also regularly serviced my bike and kept it in top notch shape. If you're looking to buy a bike, need bike repairs, peripherals (e.g., a rack, lights, saddlebags, etc.) or advice about cycling, I highly recommend City Cyclery - it's a great shop with friendly, approachable, knowledgeable staff. Cylcing in Windsor and area wouldn't be the same without this crew! : )

Friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. I let the guys know what I was looking for and they happily set me up with a great bike and were very open to answer any questions I had. I had some minor chain rub on the bike a week later. Called the shop and they were more than happy to take a look. The guys in the workshop tuned my bike and had me back on the road within 10 minutes. Unfortunately I didn't get the gentlemen's name, but to the dude that adjusted the gears on the KHS Vitamin B, thanks a bunch man! Strongly recommend this place. Keep doing what you're doing.

Ben and his team made my experience feel like more of a friend hangout than a cold customer interaction. All of my questions were answered and then some. They are all very knowledgeable and thorough in their craft. Ben spent the better part of an hour getting me up to speed on new bike technologies and helped me pick out products best suited for my riding style, needs and budget. Repairs and adjustments on my bikes were performed timely and done professionally. I only needed one visit to become a customer for life.

Long story short: I went in and thought I needed an inner tube. It turns out I didn't. They didn't charge me anything, nor did they try to dupe me by replacing something that didn't need replacing (which they could have). Want the long story? Read on: Long Story With the impression that my wife's bike had a leaky rear inner tube, I went to City Cyclery to get it changed out. The technician greeted me kindly and said it would take about 15 minutes or so to replace. I browsed the items a little, when they called me over. He explained that there was nothing wrong with the tire at all. We went over to a bucket of soapy water where he submerged and tested it, explaining what he was looking for (but never found). We spoke a little about what might have happened. Having gone there to purchase an inner tube, and the technician saying that one was no longer needed, I was expecting to be charged a small labour fee, since they did breakdown the back wheel already. But City Cyclery did not charge me anything for this visit. Since moving to Windsor, this has been the 3rd time I have visited City Cyclery, and is the third time that I have been impressed with their services. They are efficient, and their pricing is very competitive. But most importantly, in my mind, is the honesty of the staff. They could have undoubtedly replaced my inner tube (which was ultimately perfectly fine) and charged me for it. And, because that is precisely what I asked them to do in the first place, they could have easily gotten away with it! But thankfully for me and the rest of their customers, they don't operate like that. In the end, they did not charge me for something that I did not need, they did not try and make a 'quick and easy' buck off someone who did not know any better. And that type of integrity and honest service is what will keep me coming back.

I needed to remove a piece of a sproket on my rear wheel. I had gone to all the other shops in the city and they wanted to charge me more than a new wheel would've costed me. I came to City Cyclery Inc. and the guy in the shop took the wheel inside, and in 5 seconds he was back with a smile and no charge for what was a very simple fix.
