..I had an issue with a windows 10 loop..boot issue..Tim..addressed my issue with respect ..informed me from the gitgo all the scenarios..I was totally impressed with the professional way my issue was addressed..after a few phone calls..and concerns of saving my data..Tim advised me they would run a scan and do what they could..as it turned out my hard drive was failing..they installed a ssd HD and transferred all my data to the new HD...I was very fortunate!..yet when I picked up my laptop ..Tim took the time to help me understand 2 hd's...this is what sold me on a co. That goes above and beyond!.. I am grateful for your help Tim!..btw..I did get all my Microsoft apps reinstalled!..thanks to you and your team!

I had my laptop looked at by a different repair shop and they said that the motherboard was dead, so they didn't charge me, but recommended I check out Notebook Galaxy to see if they could fix it. I told Notebook Galaxy that the motherboard was dead and they said they could likely repair it within a business week. After a business week I called to check how it was doing and they still hadn't diagnosed it. A week after that I called again and they said it was unrepairable because the motherboard is dead, exact same thing I told them when I dropped it off. I was still charged $46 for the shipping and was given no further information from the diagnosis besides what I already told them in the first place. I understand that the shipping has to be paid, but the fact that I was told the problem was exactly what I already knew is the annoying part. There seems to be a big disconnect between the Toronto shop where they do the repairs and the Waterloo shop where they handle customers. I feel like my time and money was very wasted.

Great experience! I was missing two screws from my laptop and they put them in for free! Also took my screen problem very seriously and kindly explained the entire problem. Hands down the nicest computer repair store in Waterloo!

I have gone to them twice now for spill related issues and they've been able to revive my laptop. Super friendly and great service! They respond really quickly and they've given great advice and input. Highly recommend and they are probably the best laptop service in Waterloo. I've gone to a couple popular computer repair stores around and none of them said they could help me and directed me towards Notebook Galaxy.

Good service but did not fix my laptop. Sent it in the first time and I told them that if it costs less than $150 they dont have to call me. It cost exactly $150 and all they did was change my charger. About a month later the same thing happened to the laptop. I send it in and they took about 3 weeks to get me a new charger (this time they didn't charge me). After 1 month the laptop broke again with the same issue. Nice people but bad service.

Great people, amazing service. Went to Canada computers to fix my DC port and they said it’ll take two weeks to repair. Went to notebooks galaxy, had delicious cake, lots of candy while waiting as the owner looked over the issue and estimated that it’ll take 5 days , cause they needed to send it to Toronto. Got an email less than 48 hours later saying that the laptop was ready to be picked up. Actual life savers, had delicious cookies when I went to pick it up.

I came here after i had tried, and gotten pretty far into, a diy repair only to find the laptop had come with a pre-stripped screw... literallythe last scew I needed to remove. Because of the screw size and location other places refused to help me finish the repair as they didn't want to be liable for damages with trying to remove the screw. Notebook Galaxy agreed to work on it. They were fast, able to take me immediately and very polite. Even when they came back they apologised for it taking a little longer than usual and explained the whole process very clearly and concisely which i really appreciated. I 100% would come back here for any future repairs!

Fast service. Friendly staff. Sadly, they don't sell any laptops, as the ancient laptop I took in to be repaired wasn't worth fixing. Better off saving the repair cost, and putting the money towards a newer one I figured, and they agreed - which is refreshingly honest. If they sold refurbished, older laptops I would have bought one immediately.
