Their work is great, I've had tons of work done here in the past, screens replaced, hard drives swapped, DVD drives, upgrades, re-installs of OS, etc. Never had a problem with their work or parts supplied. However, some time ago they stopped being open on Saturdays, so I had to look for another vendor who is open Saturdays. In fact, I'm tickled pink that I found this other vendor who not only is a shrewd competitor, but has piles of merchandise in his store. No more ordering in and waiting for delivery, turnaround is now hours instead of days or weeks. Sorry guys.

The gentleman in there took the time to help me troubleshoot my power supply to make sure it was working or not working. Unfortunately it turns out the power supply in my computer was working so my motherboard was probably dead but either way the gentleman saved me tons of time by saving me from having to buy a power supply, have it shipped to me, testing it and then wind up having to return it. So infinite amounts of gratitude for him taking the time for free to help me out.

One year ago I was in the market for a new computer as I was starting at a new office and moving my home office computer was not an option. I did my research and came up with a very specific list of requirements, which I then sent out to all the local computer stores. I wanted to go with a local business because I believe that's very important, but decided to check with one of the national chains as well just to see how it compared. In the end, I had narrowed it down to the national chain and Midtown PC. Why Midtown? They were the ONLY ones who came back to me with a quote for the exact system I had specified. Others offered systems that differed greatly in some cases, either because they couldn't get the right components, or because they just couldn't be bothered. Even though it cost a little bit more than the national chain, I bought my system from Midtown PC because I wanted to support local business and because I knew I would be treated right. I wasn't disappointed. Dany at Midtown was very friendly, extremely helpful, and answered all my questions and concerns right from the beginning. It took a few days to bring in the parts and put the system together but when it was done Dany walked me through everything to make sure I was satisfied. He also gave me all the original manuals, packaging, etc., which I really appreciated. My system has worked great over the past year. I had a few minor issues that turned out to be simple fixes, and nothing to do with the system itself. Dany has always been very quick and attentive in answering all my questions. If you are in the Cobourg area, I highly recommend Midtown PC for your computer needs.
