They have good prices. This is the store I go to when I want to buy nuts and bolts and nails. They sell in bulk so you can choose the amount and size you want without having to buy a whole box box. Their price on Stainless Steel nuts and bolts cannot be beat.

On this visit it was a quick in and out. I was able to connect with one of the staff to answer my question about an item in their ad. Using the computer, and the expertise of the associate, my question was answered, but the item was not what I wanted. Not having what I needed was the reason for a 4 rather than 5 star review. Service was great!!

Great service and always lots of cool stuff. Love their home decor but not very happy with the warranty on the product I purchased. The item broke and they had no replacements in stock. Instead if letting me take a similar item they want me to wait for the item to be ordered in. Its winter in Canada. I can't wait a week for a shovel. Poor craftsmanship and they should have replaced with a similar item????

WOW! Above and beyond service by employees. Purchased a Sthl electric chainsaw here on clearance as they are getting out of this line of products. No chain and bar in the box when I got home. As it was now Saturday evening, the store was closed but I returned Monday morning staff were very apologetic and went to the local Sthl dealer to get the parts for me that were missing. Thank you home hardware!

We just bought a classic heater and a screen door spring and the gentleman that helped is is ALWAYS helpful, always knowledgeable and always friendly. He answered all my questions. They even helped me over the phone one time, while I installed a part on my toilet. Doesn't get better than that!!! Awesome prices too!

I was a loyal Home Hardware customer but never again. If I could give them zero stars picked out some chairs for my wedding the next day and paid for them but couldn't get them into my car. My fiancée works just down the street and they took our name etc and told them he would be there to pick them up at 5pm, well before close in his SUV. I admit, I was irate and was very upset begging for them to di something, call another store etc. I think anyone would be upset if their seating for a small wedding the next day were sold after I already paid for them. I threatened to call the news and to march with a sign warning people. Their response to this was to call the police and falsely accused me of throwing merchandise and uttering threats. Those were lies. The police came after their lies and I was handcuffed and thrown in the back of a police car at 40 degrees. I have never had an officer approach me from behind, arrest me and not reading my rights..Any officer I've talked to has tried basic communication and no officer has ever ever treated me like this before. This officer would not allow me a mask as I was outside the whole time. I asked for them to pull the audio and video at the store but I was laughed at and refused. Nice treatment the day before my wedding. On the bright side, the New Waterford store delivered me new ones 1s thing in the morning. I will be going there next, never to prince st
