Initially the guy who greeted me is nice. I went on a Saturday at 2 pm they close at 8 according to the guy. As a customer I want to know what is the time I can expect to pick it up. He said at 7 pm. I left and I never heard from the guy turns out they are closed on Sundays. Monday they called and my husband pickup for me. I realized they didn't put it in the laptop bag and the charger when husband came home. Called them about it and the guy was so rude telling me they didnnt have it I was livid and told him I left it with them then he found it and said pick up by morning. They supposed to open at 10 hubby waited 30 mins for the guy to come to the store. I am not happy with their customer service specially the way the guy talked to me in the phone as if I don't know what I'm talking about. I don't think I'm coming back to that place to sevice my computer. I work in the customer service and I don't treat people this way.

Techedge kept our computer tower for over 2 weeks and did not fix the problem. I even told them what the problem was and they still insisted that there was no problem. I constantly had to call them -i had to call them so many times that I was concerned that they had lost my tower or something worse. They did manage to make 50 dollars on the deal (cash) for blowing dust off the computer. It is apparent that they do not have the expertise to properly diagnose computer issues.

I took my laptop in because this place had excellent reviews. However, I was so disappointed and feel I was taken advantage of. The gentleman in the store was very polite and walked me through what they would do. He told me he would phone in a day or two with the diagnostic of the laptop. He didn't call and I gave him an extra day before I phoned to check the progress. He didn't know and had no information, again he told me the technician would phone me later that day - no call. I give them an extra day and then I phone to check. They still have no answers for me. They have now had my computer for 8 days and only for the diagnostic. I called again and demanded a call by that afternoon. So, my conputer can't be fixed - fine, it happens. But I get them to transfer the data to a USB stick, he quotes me $100 plus the charge of the USB stick maybe $30 at most he says, no more than $150. It takes 2 days to do this and I had to phone again to find out if it was finished. On the phone he said it was $140. I pick up my computer and there is a sticky note on it saying $80. He then tells me its $150 and asks me to pay cash... (sketchy much). I paid the $150 with debit and took my laptop. I will never recommend this business to anyone.

I asked to get a ps4 fixed here, and didn't hear back for a few days. I called and he said he couldn't fix it. (Surprised he never called to tell me that). Anyway, he seemed happy to give it back, even more so then when I took it. I found this concerning... as its possible he replaced or took out parts. I cannot confirm this, however. Can't say I'd recommend the place.

Great place to come get fixes everywhere else told me 350 to 250 to fix my screen and they did it for 175 plus tax im super glad I came here they even had my phone done by 12noon the next day even after telling me I have to wait for the part im very impressed about their service knowledge and quality i strongly recommend tech edge for device support and service .

I had a rear projection television that had some convergence and "pincushion" (screen appeared to be squished in and bowed out in the middle) issues. I found this place and figured I'd give it a try on account of all the "5-star reviews". Anyway, an individual (the owner I'm assuming) came to pick up the television, as I had no way of taking it to the store myself. Because it was a rear projection, it understandably would not fit in his vehicle, so he offered to set me up with a house call. I graciously accepted. The technician came, pulled the rear panel off the TV, and tried to tell me that it wasn't a rear projection, but rather a big CRT (obviously not true). He told me the pincushioning was not fixable, but that he would try to manually move the lamps to try and correct the convergence. He tried this for a few minutes, then I heard a pop sound. I heard him mumble something like "uh oh" or "oh s***" under his breath. I looked at the screen and it was just yellow. No picture, just a yellow screen. He then proceeded to say the television was not fixable. He called the store and told the owner this. The owner than said they would charge me "only" $90, instead of the regular $125 for a house call diagnostic. Yeah, I paid $90 for their "technician" to take my television from a mediocre picture to no picture at all. Maybe I shouldn't have paid up so easily, but I figured it was easier than having a big fight on my hands. On top of this, I had to pay over $100 to have a company come in and junk the TV.

Top marks for Tech Edge! I had my main business computer's hard drive crash suddenly. Zuhaib and his staff amazed my with their ability to recover information that I thought was lost for ever. I highly recommend their friendly and professional service. 1 Year ago was great. I was at Tech Edge last Tuesday (Oct 13, 2020), and they have new owners as of 6 months ago. After getting information that I knew was wrong, and they would not even look at the information on my back up drive. I packed up my computer and left for their competition, who was able to do what I had requested. I do not leave bad review usually, but I could see they where not able to help me anymore.

We took our galaxy S7 (Google locked bad) to 2 other shops 2 months wait for the first one and 2 week wait at the second. They both said it wasn't fixable. We took it to Tech Edge 3 days we had the phone back and working great!!!!!! Thanks so much guys! My husband brought in my tv to be repaired. He paid the$60 flat rate for them to look at it. I called a few days after they informed me it's repairable. I said to go ahead with repairs. Covid19 then started and they shutdown. Everything did get back to normal, but having parts sent in took a long time. I understand that. Eventually they never got back to me and my husband went in and it's a different business now. The owners took off and left the country. I'm out a very expensive tv. Never thought this would happen to me. Beware

I went here for my iPad screen replacement after cracking it at work. The screen replacement offered a 3 month warranty, and I noticed later that day that there was a discoloured line in the display. I could deal with it so I left it but now the display is even more distorted. UPDATE: It's been awhile and the display had worsened. I see no point in not using the warranty. I will update after dealing with the second repair.

I was not impressed with the service I received here. I brought in my laptop for water damage repair, and after paying what seemed like a high price for them to dry it out, I returned to pick it up and was charged an extra $60 because it "took longer than expected." I was then told that the laptop should be fine, just to not let it die or shut it down, as there was some damage. If I let the battery die, I was told I would have to bring it back in to Tech Edge to have them do their "trick" to turn it back on, and they would charge me $20-$30 each time this happened. After having it die once and being charged to have them revive it, I decided to bring it elsewhere to get it looked at. For 1/3 of the price of Tech Edge, my new technician diagnosed my computer AND taught me how to do the "trick" to turn the computer back on myself anytime it died (literally a one-minute, disconnect a cable in the back of the computer, "trick"). Honestly, it just seems like Tech Edge was trying to take advantage of my stress, and was trying to get as much money out of me as possible. I do not recommend going here.

Just got my phone fixed before leaving on a trip. They only guarantee their work if you can bring your phone in person. The screen stopped working one hour after I picked it up. This made it very difficult to check in at airport. I was offered nothing once I returned from my trip. Just would pick a more reliable place. Unless you have time to run back for fixes.

Took my MacBook in there the first time. They stated “free diagnostic” told me they did a reset on it without giving me a call with a charge or diagnostic. Paid $50. Took it in there again when problem reoccurred and my computer would not turn on and they quoted me $600, told my boyfriend again free diagnostic. Had to pay $50 again. I brought it somewhere else. Screen was not wrong with it and the other place was able to fix it within the hour

I brought a phone in about the middle of may to get the screen repaired. After 4 weeks I decided to call back turns out the new owners just took over and they were still getting all the inventory from the old owners. I asked about my phone and they told me they never recieved it and said they call me once they found it. The guy offered some store credit if he couldn't find it. I go back 4 weeks later and they still haven't found it and this time no store credit this time I have tried asking for it back they said they still never found it. It has now been 3 more weeks and nothing just got completely ripped off. I dont know about the other customers but that is my experience and my reason to write this bad review.

Needed to get my 2013 MacBook Pro battery replaced. Apple needed to take my computer in for 7-10 days to replace the battery. This store was able to replace the battery in less than a day! Dropped if off Friday at 5 pm and got my MacBook back by 3 pm on Saturday. They even aligned the top screen housing because it was slightly kinked from me dropping the laptop. Highly recommend this place!

My daughters older chrome book screen broke. Tech edge took a look just before closing time and said they could pull the data and have it ready for the next day. The next day we decided to explore our options. The salesmen were extremely eager to pls. They ended up pulling the data off old one and loaded it onto a fully refurbished chrome book they provided that was 5 yrs newer for an amazing price! Problem solved! Daughter has functioning computer with all her notes for university and dad didnt go broke or insane from trying to get everything rectified from a province away...very happy with the service and cost. Highly recommend these guys for your electronics needs.

Very Good service. Knowledgeable. Fast. The lid on my 2014 Macbook Pro Retina was loose because I dropped it. The computer, including the screen, was functional. One store quoted me a full screen replacement because they said the hinge is part of the screen (only sometimes true). Approximately CAD 500. Another store quoted me for CAD 150. This store did a free estimate. Called me to say that parts and labor will be CAD 100. My laptop was with them for only 3 hours. Screen is now aligned and not wobbly. Very happy with this store, highly recommended.

Went into Tech Edge with a broken TV, was told it was highly unlikely it could be fixed without replacing the whole curcuit board. I was given the risks up front and told him to do his best with low expectations and the owner come through huge. Excellent services with excellent prices and excellent customer service. Raaj is a miracle worker in my opinion because my computer lived through half a bottle of spilled water and he managed to bring my computer back to life for the price of 299 $. I don't know how he does it but my experience was more than wonderful. Apart from his work, he is such a nice/honest person who truly just wants to help you and will put in all the effort and will update you through his process. Don't waste your time with other places!

It was another $88 to pick it up. He had cleaned the machine for an additional fee- another service I didn’t request.

I took my iPhone in to get the screen fixed last week. I was impressed with how quickly and the cost of the repair was compared to every other place I called. After I got home later that day my phones screen kept turning on and off every 5-10 seconds and eventually died after I went to bed. I’ve never had this issue ever nor did I ever have an issue with the battery ever! I called the next day and he assured me they’d get to the bottom of it so I took it back the next day to which they said they’d have to keep it over night but gave me a loaner phone in turn. Finally the next day I had to phone them and ask for an update to which they told me it was basically all good to go, charged up and ready for pick up. I go back to get my phone and turn in the loaner, and my phone was completely dead! After I left and gave my phone some juice, the screen problem persisted which in turn keeps draining my battery. I was going to call back but then they called me asking what I did to their loaner phone?!?!! He said it wasn’t turning on after I returned it but when I handed it off it was in 100% working order so I don’t know. My phone sucks now honestly lol!!! ????????

I DO NOT TRUST THE MOBILE TECHNICIAN of this shop. I chose this shop as I saw good reviews, but I had very bad experience. I went to REPLACE BATTERY for my iphone. It was first hand phone I bought, factory setting of internal parts were never opened, and it was working perfectly fine except battery, not too bad 74% battery life. The mobile technician replaced the battery and suggested to fully charge it before I use. Back to home, charged and checked my phone, SOUND SYSTEM WAS NOT WORKING. Second day I tried to charge it, but the phone was getting itself ON and OFF, quite STRANGE! I went to show him, he fixed automatic ON/OFF problem, but HE HAD NO IDEA what was going with my sound system. Still he wanted to leave my phone in the shop so that he could recheck it. I DID NOT GET WHAT HE WANTED TO RECHECK. I did not trust this guy because I thought there must be something on my phone which he did not tell me. Straight from that shop, I went to another repair shop. Within 10 minutes, it was diagnosed that sound chip was damaged due to improper handling. LOOKS LIKE IT WAS OVERHEATED WHICH COULD DAMAGE SOUND CHIP WHICH IS LOCATED JUST ABOVE THE BATTERY. That guy is terrible, he worked so carelessly and damaged my original sound chip of apple! TOO BAD! WENT TO CHANGE BATTERY, PAID HIM, BUT GOT THE SOUND SYSTEM DAMAGED!

I dropped a laptop off two weeks ago for repair. They called me 3 days ago that it was not fixable and that I should come get it. I went yesterday to go get it only to be told that it's not ready. The fellow there said he would have it ready for me today. I showed up 10 minutes to close which is close, but I had no choice. Regardless, lights were off and nobody was there. Have they stolen my laptop? I'm starting to think so. Slow service aside, I just want my computer back but even that seems to be tough to do. Find somewhere else, these guys are very unprofessional.

took in my logitech G29 steering wheel for repair. they were honest about whether or not they could fix it. i picked it up 2 days ago and was told no charge as they could not test it or guarantee how long the repair would last. so far it is working well. i commend them for their honesty. highly recommended.
