Staff is skillful and excellent. I have had the following services performed: 2 battery replacements on iPhone as well as a screen replacement. All three jobs were done during the repair estimate time and cost. Finished work looks flawless.
I have been here a few times, great service and honesty. Cliff the owner really knows his stuff and has better prices and service compared to others. Shop is nice and clean and I would highly recommended these guys.
I got my phone screen replaced and my phone dropped 2ft and with a lifeproof case it shatterd
Prompt. Reasonable rates. Helpful! Efficeint not just a job to technician; he s kind and cares. Just one little item, English communication can be a wee bit challenging. Great service saved my device!
Called to get my phone fixed and they told they don't do my phone brand. They should call themsleves WE REPAIR SOME CELLULAR PHONE REPAIR. If you are calling yourself Cellular Phone Repair
Excellent service
Great experience and 130.00 cheaper then any where else for my screen replacement. USE THIS STORE!!!
20 min exterior lens job turned 1.5 hours....lame, never again
My phone stopped charging suddenly and died completely. I sent in a quote request for fixing the charging port, which I was sure I had damaged in a drop earlier the same day. Cliff messaged me back the next morning to let me know there was risk of damaging the screen in the repair, which would cost me more. However, he could test to see if the wireless charger still worked with it, as that could be a less expensive option. Lo and behold, the connection issue was gone when I brought it in (go figure). Cliff took the time to discuss what may have been the problem, and gave me a quote on a battery repair if I wanted to do that. He also diagnosed an issue I had with my iPod ages ago. All with no pressure to do anything right away. When I told my husband about what they said, he told me that they'd been really helpful for him in the past too. Thank you for your time and attention today Cliff, and know that we'll be back if we have any more issues!
They fixed a bad repair done at the londonderry location which resulted in the failure of my camera on my s7.. had to pay for the camera but they got it fixed right away and when it broke again (strangely, just for no reason) they serviced it for free and replaced the lens at no cost. WOuld be a 5 star review if they'd covered the camera cost as well, which was a stretch but would have been nice as they are the same outfit. Not ideal but fantastic staff and were very helpful. Repairs done on time. This location is not owned by the same people as the others, so in future I will use this location again and adjust my review up accordingly.
Friendly, fast and fair priced !! Would recommend for sure !!
I got my phone fixed, worked well. A few days later I noticed a defect. They didn’t second guess replacing it with no cost. I haven’t experienced the same problem since. Great service!
Honest and respectable, thank you.
CPR was the first result that came up when I searched for phone repair shops in St. Albert. The camera on my iPhone had mysteriously stopped working and I wanted to have it repaired before leaving on a trip. They were very timely in replying to my email, and very professional when I brought my phone in. The repair was done in a little over an hour, which was well worth the cost, in my opinion!
All I needed was my charging port cleaned and Cliff was more than happy to help get that done for me right away. I'll definitely be back if I ever need a screen replaced.
My Son and I have visited this shop several times since they opened for business. Cliff and his staff have always treated us courteously and professionally. Repair estimates have been fair and service work very timely. I would not go elsewhere.
Excellent, courteous professional service. Have been here many many times for iPad/ iPhone issues. We are told up front what the cost is and there are no hidden fees or surprises. I have sent my brother over and refer my friends as well. Quality parts are used- I have screens replaced elsewhere and was disappointed at the other two places; no disappointment here with the quality of the replacement parts. In fact I am bringing in an iPhone 6 Plus in for a repair in the next 2 days.
Fixed my phone quickly and effectively and noticed my front camera was gunky from the last time I got it fixed (at a different place). Took it apart again just to clean the camera for me! Thank you so much!!
My husband had a small piece of his charger break off inside his charging port (in his brand new phone!). After visiting a couple of local repair shops with no success, my husband visited CPR Cell Phone Repair. Within 5 minutes the gentleman (I apologize, my husband did not remember his name), had the piece removed and the phone is now charging perfectly. We’re both absolutely amazed at the 5+ Star service, professionalism & kindness. We highly recommend visiting CPR for all of your cell phone repair needs! Thank you so much!
My iPhone 6s had a cracked screen so I brought it here to get the screen replaced. The new screen CPR installed was very bad quality and was clearly not an Apple approved screen (Apple officially states that their phones do not work properly with unapproved 3rd party displays). Well unfortunately for me, Siri stopped working, the on button only worked by repeatedly holding it, speaker phone stopped working, and some parts of the screen would randomly go unresponsive requiring me to reset the phone on a regular basis. Further, before I even had the chance to go back to CPR and see about fixing these problems, my screen cracked in my front pocket when I leaned against a counter (there was honestly barely weight on the phone and I had a screen protector on it). When I took the phone back CPR said they would not replace the screen even though they say there's a "lifetime warranty" because the screen was cracked. DO NOT GO HERE! Go to an authorized Apple Retailer or the Apple Store (it's worth the inconvenience of leaving St. Albert); it's basically the same price too. All in all, terrible customer service and terrible repair quality!
Quality work. Been more than once.
My S10 battery needed replacing as i had noticed the battery life getting shorter and shorter. I chose CPR st albert as i had a previous repair carried out there 18 months ago and i was happy with the repair and service. At this stage my phone is nearly 2 years old but otherwise it is (was) in showroom condition. The relatively small cost of a new battery v replacing the phone was an easy decision. I dropped off the phone and 30 minutes later it was ready, i was told to keep it in its case to aid the glue on the rear cover. I kept it in the case overnight an removed it the following morning to notice the cover barely attached. I took it back and they re-attempted to glue it. Again I was not happy with the fit, it had bulged and the cover was "spongy", almost like too much glue was applied. I said i wasn't happy but was told the cover is bent and nothing they could do. The cover was clearly bent during the battery replacement as the repair now is so obvious. I am very unhappy with this repair and my phone now looks very 2nd hand.
I just had my phone fixed today by this awesome guy. Of course I forget his name but I just wanted to give him props. He helped out this woman who got upset at him (for no reason at all - asking him basically to read her thoughts) and he handled it like a pro. He was so nice but assertive, getting her stuff done while assisting me at the same time. Great service. Way to go man. Thank you for your job for me too. My phone isn't even recognizable lol.
The people here are professionals in their service. They patiently answered my questions and worked with me to resolve a warranty issue where my phone model was not in their system. We got their system updated and my phone was repaired in short order. Great place!
This is not anyone's favorite place to go, but at least the service, pricing and knowledgeable staff are awesome. Angie at the front was very helpful and got me in and out within a few hours. Harry the technician in the back did a great job too. Would recommend for Samsung Authorized repairs.
My husband brought his phone in here last year to repair a broken screen. When he brought it home the screen was jumping all over the place. He brought it back and they said they fixed it. Less than a few weeks later it did the same thing. He works out of town and can't make it in often so he just left it. Finally he got sick of it glitching out (at this point it would glitch and try to unlock on it's own and lock him out) and realized they had a lifetime warranty. My screen was also broken so he gave them the benefit of the doubt and took both in. They called and said my battery needed to be replaced as well so I said go ahead. I got my phone back and the front camera is all hazy. My phone would also stop working at 25%. I called them and they said to drop it off and they will check the camera and change out the battery again. They called to say my phone was fixed and ready. My husband picked it up and brought it home. The exact same issues remained, I didn't even bother bringing it back again. My phone has only gotten worse from there. Constantly freezing and glitching and information randomly disappearing from my phone and then reappearing. I will stick to apple stores like I have in the past.
Very poor customer service. Would not take the time to help with dual products
Happy for the good service and repair of my iphone X in this shop. Cheapest and best quality around
came in with a stuck power button on my dead laptop. not only did they give me a free estimate, but also fixed the button free of charge. quick response time, quick repair and very friendly. my family has also received great and affordable service, so I'd recommend them.
I was in need of a new screen and was able to have it replaced in less than two hours. I have used the services at CPR and am never disappointed. There is no need to look further for cell phone servicing...this is the place to go!
They did a fantastic job fixing the screen on my Surface.
Very good service. Professional and knowledgable. He said he would have it done in 1 hr and it was done in one hr at the same price I was quoted. Very happy and will use them again
Great service, popped in to enquire and came out with the phone fixed and a stonkingly good price. Shop local and get the best service, much better than the big box stores. Definitely recommend
I have been here a few times. Great service and honesty. They replaced my charging port and my cracked screen on my Galaxy S7 Edge so I didn't have to buy a new phone. Highly recommended these guys.
This shop despite of the situation makes way to service its customers. Happy camper here.
Nice guy and fair prices!
Fast, good service, a little pricey.
Device couldn't be returned to full function, all attempts were made by CPR.
Went in because I thought my phone needed a new part, turns out it just needed cleaning. I picked it up working and to my surprise they did not charge me!!!! Amazing service. I defiantly recommend CPR in St Albert!
There are times when a company is just so unexpectedly professional and decent that you have to stop and note that it is remarkable in a sea of work-to-the-minimum businesses. CPR (Cell Phone Repair) in St. Albert, Alberta is one such outstanding service provider. I approached CPR after attempting unsuccessfully to fix my Samsung Note 2’s head phone jack. Despite web research and multiple attempts to resolve the problem, my head phone jack would only produce static. I asked CPR to replace the jack assembly (other online users had the same problem). Unfortunately replacing the assembly did not fix the problem. They told me the motherboard was the cause of the problem, returned the phone and didn't charge me for the service. When the issue was narrowed down to a corrupted mother board or a firmware defect, I chose to purchase one of CPRs refurbished Note 2s. After I transferred my data to the refurbished CPR phone I performed a hard factory reset on my faulty phone. I was surprised to find that this fixed the motherboard issue. The headphone jack now worked! I returned to the CPR outlet just to share this “fix” with staff for the reference of future customers. Staff stunned me by volunteering to refund the total cost of the refurbished phone. CPR had no liability to do so. They had received no payment for their troubleshooting and service. CPR gave me a refund just because they felt it was the right thing to do. I have no financial, family or other relationship with this company or any of its employees. My opinion is based only on my personal experience with CPR. With that in mind, if you are looking for a company that is truly professional and customer-oriented, check out CPR. This company raises the bar in cell phone repair service.
Very friendly and a great help.
Contacted these folks on a Friday and explained my problem. Told them I can be in town Saturday to have them look at my phone. They managed to get it working again - turns out that over time it had gotten wet inside and the battery was fubar. Very accommodating and I highly recommend them for repairs.
Excellent service. Replaced screen and headphone jack of an s5 in 3 hours. No complaints here.
Brought my phone here for a screen repair. Work was done quickly and for no extra charge he also got the phone speakers working again.
Was looking for a local place to get my Cell phone repaired I heard that CPR was an okay place to do it and that they have quite knowledgeable staff, I gave them a call and middle eastern gentleman picked up the phone and I had asked a few questions and he responded saying "I'd just recommend going to a different repair store because we're a little busy here for the mean time" was kind of a let down because I had to end up driving all the way to Edmonton for my phone to be repaired.
I went here to get my cellphone repaired after dropping it and they fixed it the same day cheap! Everyone who works there seems super friendly! Would highly recommend!
(RE: If I wanted unprofessional worksmanship and 0 communication I would have went to any kid on kijiji. If you (the owner of the facility) can't see how a customer would be aggrivated with something as unprofessional as attempting to guess the password on the phone, I feel even better about my decision to not return.) If I could give 0 stars I would. Outside the place it says "90 miniute cellphone repair" and ive been waiting for my phone back for days. They called to ask me what my password was, and it being a pattern/not having the phone in my hand I must have gotten it wrong. Instead of calling me to come in when it was incorrect they went ahead and tried numerous passwords they thought would be correct only to end up having my phone lock on me for 5 miniutes when i showed up into the store, already extremley agitated and pressed for time this just angered me further. And to top it all of the ass hat behind the desk wanted to sass me! After I sort out this mess I won't be returning here. (Not to mention the fact that they charged me over 250$ for this "screen repair" that shouldve taken less than 90 miniutes and worked out to almost a week. (In the end despite the contrary, CPR left me waiting while they found the part, then left me waiting while they tried to guess my password, then left me waiting even longer while they attempted to put in the new screen. Should I mention the fact that after all was said and done their attempt at the repair was unsuccessful and they broke the new screen in the process. The entire establishment seems like the epitome of shitshow.)
Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Quoted me a price and a time, and had the work done in half the time for exactly what they quoted me. Even fixed a phone that I thought was unfixable. Will definitely be back the next time my phone breaks.
