I tripped and fell into my grand kids pool on Thursday July 19/15. I immediately pulled my iPhone 6 from it's holder and thru it in a chair, it was in a case(Otter Box). I then took it apart and run a hair dryer on it, cool selection, for 5 hours. I ended up taking to SaskTel, and they told me to let it sit in rice for 2 days. that did not work. Then a friend told me about Nanotech, I took it in Sunday, and by end of the day it was fixed. I picked it up they next morning. It was very inexpensive. I was very impressed with there knowledge and how fast it was repaired. I will certainly recommend this business to everyone. Thank You Nanotech! Rick

This company consistently goes out its way to help its customers. I dropped my phone and the home button quit working. They told me repairs would be $50.00 and I agreed. The lady took it to the back, and after a quick talk with the techs in the back, returned and said it would only be a few minutes. Not five minutes later, she came back with my phone - all fixed and no charge. This is the second time they have gone the extra mile for me and I highly recommend them if you need repairs for your smartphone, etc.

VERY impressed with the customer service at Nano Tech. E-mailed Nano Tech as well as two other electronic repair companies and they were quickest to answer even though they weren't actually even open! Not only that, but all I was looking for was a SIM tray and was able to get one with out a huge mark up on price like others had offered for a tiny(literally) piece of plastic. Brought my LG phone in to have the screen replaced, had a small barely visible crack. When It was 50% charged when I brought it there, gave them extra time to complete the repair so they didn’t have to rush through it. Got the phone back completely dead, 0% and once fully charged, turned on my phone only to find I have no sound at all, none! Brought in a perfectly working phone with a small crack in the screen, got a non working phone back. Should have just lived with the crack and saved myself $120.00, and the aggravation of dealing with this.

Beware of the quoted price being different from the price they charge you. I had a digitizer on a 4th Gen Ipad replaced. Was quoted one price and charged another. Afterwards the home button was very problematic. I lived with it for a few months but it became too much. I emailed them and was quoted a price to fix the home button. I was not looking for this to be done for free but instead a fair price considering they caused the home button issue. When I took it in they said they would not honor the emailed quoted price. They were rude and unprofessional. *** After posting the above, original review. NanoTech reached out and performed the work for the original agreed upon price. I am glad the issue is sorted out however it was a big hassle.

I have never met a disrespectful costumer service like the one at this store. The guy doesn't apologize of their fault ,speaks to you in a careless tone , and if you asked him to respect you when you are mad of their carelessness he is gonna say to you get out of my store. I talked to the owner after and he tried to talk about the phone instead of talking about the disrespectful manners of that guy and when I told him that my problem is not regarding the repair but regarding the costumer service he showed no care about what happened saying I will see the cameras because I wasn't here at that time.

He fixed an iphone 5S for my wife. I took a laptop to him and he did not fix it because it will cost me 200 $ which is OK. When I took my laptop I found the USB chip of the wireless mouse is not there and it took me going there 3 times till they find it and give it back to me. The tech working there just threw it to me even without saying sorry. I do believe this was an impolite kind of behavior that I did not use to see here in Canada. I do understand that he may have the concept that if he treats the customers from the tip of his nose, the customers will appreciate his services more. I do believe the may need to LEARN that this is not true at all here in Canada.

Do not take iPhones to these guys. I brought my past warranty iPhone to them for bad battery. They put in their supplier of batteries which apple does not support. Once you've cracked the case by not an authorized apple place apple says you are on your own. I fought with apple asking how would I ever know this and they eventually gave me a new phone because mine was internally damaged (motherboard) as I explained we don't have a Apple Store in Regina. You want to call apple first like I should have. Before that though I went back a 2nd time after my battery was replaced by nanotech within a month as it was still not charging. Big mistake the case for the iPhone had been opened by a "new employee and he's sorry" when I get it back it looks like it was pryed open without correct tools and they actually damaged the aluminum and chipped it up the side and bottom. I asked the manager on duty what he was gonna do about the condition of my phone and he said "put a case back on it you'll never see it". After 2 visits I got excuses, a not properly repaired device, and even a damaged device back to me. And when asked what they would do they said sorry he is a new guy that worked on yours.

I had a cell phone repaired at Nanotech, Battery IPhone 6. They replaced the batter now my phone has overheated and won’t turn on. I returned to them and asked them to check it out, Board is toast now phone is junk and they refuse all responsibility, not surprised. When I talk to IPhone support they tell me that Nanotech IS NOT A CERTIFIED REPAIR CENTRE and all warranty if I had any is Defaulted. They also told me they cannot repair now; phone is basically junk. I am out of luck, NANOTECH never told me they are not QUALIFIED to work on IPhone and refuse to help me or return my calls, will not talk to me at all. NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP FOR IPHONE REPAIRS. i am out a lot of money and have a upset Daughter

I had a switch go in and a month and a week goes by and I get it back and it was dead so I thought nothing of it I go to charge it and it doesn't work. Before I sent it in the charger port worked perfectly fine. Don't go here. P.S. they said it would only take a few days then a few weeks later said it was ready when I got there it wasn't ready.

I brought my phone in, it's a Sony Xperia Z2 to get my charging port fixed, said it'd be the next day, I go in the next day and the guy tells me that I'll need to get a new back for my phone for them to fix it, so I said sure, fix the back and the charging port, said it'll be ready the next day. I go in on the third day of dealing with them to be told my phone isn't fixed and that they're unsure they could fix the charging port and that if they can't it'd be pointless to buy the back if they can't fix it but that I'd be charged regardless for their failure. I'm sorry but this is my second time dealing with them, and they are impossible and do not know what they are doing! Also the receptionist staff do not know what they are doing!

I was referred to Nanotech from Rogers as they were said to be good, cheap and quick. I dropped my Samsung phone off with a broken power button, turn around time was 2 weeks. After several calls checking up on my phone it was done in 5 weeks. I picked up the phone only to see the frame of my phone completely damaged. Nanotech did replace it free of charge, but my phone was left their for an additional 2 weeks for a total of 7 weeks in the repair shop. The staff consistantly did not know what was going on as i'd call for a an update every two weeks and most of the time I got "the tech that's working on your phone is not in, I will have him call you tomorrow" no calls were returned.

I went to get my screen replaced and it took them 3 attempts to not fix it. The first time the finger print reader didn't work, then the proximity sensor didn't work, and finally the finger print reader didn't work again. They have terrible customer service and don't actually know when they'll be done or bother to email you when your phone is ready. You just have to show up and hope it's fixed. I also heard them talking in the back when I came to pick up my phone and it wasn't ready and one of the techs said "Just tell him that we had an emergency and couldn't get to his". The guy in the front at least had the integrity to not lie to me but I heard them trying to pretend something came up. I picked them because they were about $50 less then everywhere else. But after a dozen trips to the store due to their mistakes I would have been better off going anywhere else. Just go somewhere else.

Phone was ready by the promised time and i was called and given an amount that was within the quote previously given. Slight issue with the billing, but the manger who worked on the phone straightened everything out and made sure everything was taken care of. Phone now is back working great and repair was half the cost of my buyout with sasktel to upgrade to a comparable phone with none of the contract headaches. Its nice to see someplace locally that is capable of fixing more in depth problems. They strive to ensure that the customer is satisfied after every repair.

Well bottom line they wrecked my phone after a long series of failed attempts to fixing my broken screen on my Asus cellphone. They seen they had pretty good reviews at the time, so they told me they had to come in, so they could look at it and to make sure they they get the right screen, so no problem but I live couple hours from the city. So I did finally got there and prepaid for the repair, $150. They told me the screen would get there in a couple days. So I came the next week, happy to get my phone fixed, just to find out screen wasn't there, who knows why. Second time they finally got the screen and after another trip only to find out it was the wrong one or they claim. Third time they finally got the right screen and it appeared that worked okay but after awhile I realized I was getting no ringing or media sounds. So another fourth trip to get the sound fixed. This time they fixed my sound but when I put the Sim card back into the phone it wouldn't work, by that time it was impossible to get fixed that day because the repair dude left, so I was left with a non functioning phone, so I had not choice to get bite the bullet to get a new phone. So definitely wasn't a happy customer, not really planning on going back again for another round because after five trips altogether, I'm done. Travel time total of 20hrs, $150 and replacement cellphone. Just do your a favor and look somewhere else.

My review: Great store, he makes you feel at home, has a lot of charisma and is always friendly and easy to deal with. To the other guy who left a review about Kijiji prices, most of his prices beat Kijiji, however I'm sure he doesn't have time to sit around all day and check if his prices are still the lowest. I know his prices are most of the time lower than Cashopolis. If not, he will try to help you if possible. I walked in one day to him helping a homeless man, he was writing a resume for him and printing multiple copies out for him because he didn't want to see this man homeless anymore. It takes a lot for somebody who owns a business to do that for somebody given that their time is already so limited.

Lost my iPod touch, no reimbursement. There’s a reason the name changed from NanoTech! To your reply, nobody was in contact with me. I lived 200km away at the time and no consideration was given to at least extend pickup time. Even called many times, left voicemails directly to ownership and no reply. Came into the office afterwards, spoke to owner himself to make amends. Completely ignored any resolution! Hard to put this matter aside, may pursue it further.

NO GO ZONE for laptop owners !! They don't know what they are doing. I was quoted $60-80 for my laptop hinge fix and service time of 3 hrs max. I heavily rely on this for my work which i explained and we agreed on getting it back the same day. It ended up taking 1.5 days and as a result i could not WORK the following day. The next day i was greeted with a $100 bill, Glue all over my laptop sides, improperly closed sides(which are still open) and the technicians hair as a memoir on my screen. Update - a week into this and now the signs of wear and tear are showing up. For a piece of equipment i rely on for my bread and butter, this was a TERRIBLE decision !!!

I took my phone in to get an estimate on a repair 2 days later they told me $110. To which I replied no I'll come pick up my phone later I don't want it when I came to get my phone they fixed it and tried to charge me $170 now the manager is being a total jerk gets me on the phone and interrupts me two words into my sentence wont let me finish my sentence and will not allow conversation at least constructive conversation then he gets angry with me because I swear at him out of desperation totally unprofessional and unnecessary its been 2 months and they haven't given me my phone back I don't even want to talk to him just yelled at me right away stay away for your own benefit he has no people skills and not only that where is my phone? I look on the screen at the receptionist desk where it said my phone has been picked up already, where,exactly, is it? Why can't I have it now ? Did you think just because I didn't want it fixed by you that you could just keep it? I'm so upset my pictures for work and stuff for on there it better still all be there what did they fix my phone and use it as one of their own personal phones because I didn't want to repair it at the quote they gave me? I'm a certified electronics technician there's no reason I can't fix it myself just order some parts online I'm going to be coming back for damages unfortunately I couldn't give this place 0 stars

Worst experience Ever! Zero stars!!! I went to get a game card replaced. I was expecting to pay 80$, because that's what their website said. The bill came to 140 plus tax. I asked why? The owner came out from the back and told me that he doesn't care what the website said. I totally understand, that errors can happen, but as the customer, a compromise would have been nice instead of attitude from the owner. Bad business. There was an issue with my iPhone 5s yesterday. It kept searching the provider but never connect. When I take out the SIM card, it didn't show "No SIM Card" as usual. So I went to Nanotech for help this morning. The guy there was so nice and he fixed the phone in about 10 minutes. Took two iPhone 6 for batteries. Both of them swelled up after the warranty expired. They said it was from using non Apple chargers. When I said that they only used the factory charger he basically called me a liar. Both swelled so bad it wrecked the mother boards. I will never go back there.

Took my laptop in a few months ago as it wouldn't charge. I phoned and they asked I could bring it in. I brought it in that day and was unpleased with the fact that the staff weren't wearing masks. When one caught sight of me he came to the front and then quickly rushed to the back, grabbed a mask and came back out to help. Everything went fine and they told me they would phone me back later to discuss what the issue was and how much it was going to cost. I asked if they wanted my charger for the laptop but they declined and stated they had their own. A couple hours went by and i didn't get a call so I phoned. They explained that it turned on no problem with their charger (at this point I had a suspicion the problem was my charger and there was nothing wrong with the laptop itself but I listened to what they had to say) and that they would like to do a further diagnostic with my permission. I say yes just to be sure my laptop didn't have any further problems. Once again they told me they would get back to me but didn't so I called myself just to find out they were closed for the day even though they said they would get back to me before that time came. Frustrated I called back the next day and they weren't answering. I went to the store just a few minutes after opening to find that some other customer was trying to open the door, however they were still closed. Once that customer walked away I watched as an employee got out of their car and opened the doors 10 minutes after their website said they opened. I went in and asked about my laptop and they had a problem finding it. They realized the person who fixes all their electronics ended up taking it out of the store (without my permission) and they told me once he came in with it they would call me. Once again they never got back to me and I called and Called. I was extremely frustrated and went back to the store later that day to find out they were closed. Now three days later I called back and they stated my laptop was indeed back in store and the cost would be around $80. When I got there They told me they wiped everything from my laptop as the storage was full. I lost all my school documents and pictures. I also forgot to mention that I ended up taking in my charger and they refused to give that back to me as it was dead and no use and then they proceeded to try to sell me one of their own. I payed for my laptop and left frustrated. In the end I ended up going back, got a refund (since they didn't communicate with me and what I paid them for I could have easily done myself if they told me what needed to be done and didn't go ahead and do it without my consent) and my dead charger. It was the charger problem all along however they refused to take it the first day I brought it in and stated it's not charging and I think there is a problem with the charger connection to the laptop. They ignored that and went ahead and fixed the storage problem which wasn't a big priority at that time. When I went in for my belongings and refund they still weren't wearing masks in the back staff area and I was told I need to be a better communicator next time.... Needless to say there wont be a next time. I don't recommend this place and to be honest paying the extra dollar at an actual electronics store such as best buy would totally be well worth it rather then having to deal with this place. Very disappointed and won't be returning for future technology problems.

Have been telling people to go to Nanotech for years if their phones were out of warranty, as I worked in the cellular industry. Well found myself in that same situation where something went wrong with my phone, and the first thing I did was went to Nanotech, they were able to fix my issue right away and got me back up and running. They use fake iPhone screens to replace broken iPhone screens, I took my iPhone 6 there and assumed I was getting an Apple screen replacement, and right after the appointment my phone started randomly shutting down and not working. A worker told us the phone being broken was a ‘trick of the draw’, and after arguing with the owner of the store he told us that he doesn’t use apple screens, litterally only just replicas. awful service, don’t waste your money here.

Took a phone in for a basic screen repair and all was good. About 2 weeks later my phone started to vibrate non stop and got extremely hot. Took it back in and they took a look and said it had water damage to some parts due to the phone having not been closed properly. Well, they were he only ones to have opened the phone up and the phone never came into contact with any water. I told them that, that was their issue if simple moisture from the air caused water damage because that was the only explanation. They flat out refused to do any work under their standard warranty, but would due it for a discounted rate of $150... Also, did I mention that when I took this phone to UBreakIFix I was told that Nanotech had took out some of my OEM components that weren’t broken and put in old used components. NEVER EVER TRUST THIS PLACE
