Neat store for computer parts and board games. Computer parts prices are a little high compared to online retailers but the board games, puzzles, and other things are fairly priced and comparable. This is the place to go if you're looking for that board game.

I went in here during the week for some airbrushing info and i didnt have a lot of time before i had to be at work. These guys were fantastic. They didnt blow me off because i wasn't buying today. They were very knowledgeable and the experience was fantastic. FFW to today, i went back and bought the supplies i was after and they were great. They showed me everything about the airbrush i could ever need to know and set me up with all the fittings and everything i needed to get it going. Fantastic customer service and im really happy i got to support local and know that of i need anything or have questions which im sure i will, they will be there for me and more than willing to share their passion with me. It's a great little place for board and card games as well as RPS. They also have a great selection of puzzles and models. There is a huge selection for Warhammer 40K. The team is fantastic. You are greeted when you enter, and as you browse they ask if they can help or assist in your selections. I personally had a great conversation with Leonard. Highly recommend this establishment for your gaming needs.

Excellent place to pick up puzzles, board games, tabletop miniatures (including warhammer, D&D and Pathfinder), scenery modeling supplies and model vehicles. They also have a great team on the computer side of things who can help you with problematic units, build your dream gaming rig, or even just sell you a tube of thermal paste to do some DIY repairs! These guys are the closest thing to Games workshop and memory Express you'll find without going to Calgary or Edmonton.

I’m impressed….knowledgeable, gave me options, answered my stupid questions and then executed the repair and build in record time the week before Christmas. I had inquired about a sold out video card series. The 3080 couldn't be found online to buy, i emailed and asked if there was a waiting list i could be put on should they get some. They responded and l was told I'd be notified. 2 days later they responded that they had one for me, i was able to etransfer the full payment. I want sure if I'd make it into the shop after i finished work, however if it was a bit after their closing someone would wait to hand me the card. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Any pc gamers in Central alberta i would recommend checking them out before traveling to the bigger cities. They had quality inventory you'd be looking for.

Never had a problem finding what I'm looking for, and when I wasnt even sure what I was looking for they helped narrow it down to the right item. The most over priced store i think I've ever been in. Selling things for a 40% mark up from other retailers. Brutal. A few bucks sure. But 40%... for example my friend bought a 1TB Crucial SSD from them for 199$, exact same drive on Amazon 129$, mem express 143$. I'm all for shopping local when they aren't that much more expensive. They could have bought the drive from Amazon with free shipping and marked it up 20 bucks and that would have been better. But 70$... come on.

I've shopped here for years for board games and various computer parts. Didn't mind paying the markup because it was supporting local. Since the GPU shortage I've been calling weekly or more to try and get a modern GPU. I've got friends who know the staff personally and they get a heads up and get cards no problem when a shipment comes in. I'll call immediately after a friend is informed compusoft has cards in and the staff give me the same old " no we don't have any in and we don't do wait lists". I'm fully aware I'm being lied to about both, but never raise a fus. I'll not be shopping here anymore as hard to get products go to VIPs only apparently.

I have been buying computers here for years -- for myself, my wife and my wife's family. I have found both the sales staff and technical services staff to be friendly, helpful and full of good information. I plan to keep on buying from this shop. While some of these reviews are complaints, their experiences do not reflect my own. I also like the computer department of London Drugs in Red Deer (where I buy Apple products). I am not being compensated or receiving favors from either outlet (nor would they likely know me as a person) but I feel good service should be recognized as much as poor service is. I would rather buy a computer from the vendor that built it and is always available and helpful rather than a brand name who lack personal service.

Lovely staff there. Even though I haven't purchased anything there they were helpful and had a professional attitude. Walking into a store of this type and not being bombarded with D&D5e products was so refreshing. Picked up the Alien RPG corebook and the Cyberpunk Red Starter box. Staff was friendly and helpful. Store is clean and has a great variety of very cool products. My nerdness was very satisfied. Four out of Five Stars, would roll a d20 again.

This is a very dangerous place for nerds. There are a TON of board games (the good kind, not like Monopoly). There is a ton of modeling supplies, kits, paint, and other material for hobbyists. They have a large selection of miniatures, RPG material, and some collectables. They also have a bunch of gaming computer stuff, and misc PC parts. Prices are a little on the high side maybe but they are local, and they have a lot in stock so you can have it the same day, which is worth a few dollars to support a local business.

I bought a gaming computer here after returning a system from Alienware. The service, build quality, and prices at Compusoft were so much better. When you have a question, there is a local expert to help. Their selection of games, models, and paints is also extensive. This is a great local shop.

Easily one of the best selections of games (board, card, dice, pen/paper, miniature, etc.) I have ever seen. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful and they are more than willing to do everything they can to get their hands on any item you might want.

The game selection here is the best in Red Deer with the best informed staff ever. They pull stats and ratings for you online, and try and make sure you have the best purchase that suits you. I looked to see if I could get a better deal on a particular game online and I couldn't. Theses guys were cheaper by $5. They have models, role-playing kits, and three huge walls of board games. Not to mention all their computer stuff.

Love this place, excellent selection of games and puzzles! The staff are awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! Reasonably priced, and even if their product is a bit more expensive than online (which is rarely the case), I'd rather spend a couple bucks more getting games and dice from them.

People say not to go there online, but I had bent chips on my CPU and it wasn't working anymore, I brought my PC there to finish the build. They finished the build, fixed my CPU and made it work instead of just saying it's broken and sell me a new one. Took the guy two hours to fix that CPU. The amount that I paid was more than fair and they saved me from paying another $500 for a new CPU. Plus I told them I would be able to install windows myself and update the drivers myself, but the tech did it anyways. No complaints and contrary to what people say online, the prices are fair.

They have a really good selection of components, PC's etc. I love the new location they are at as well. Easier to get to and better parking. They also have more room. I would like to see them expand their stock a tad but otherwise this is a great store!

I recently bought a Gaming pc from Compusoft and it has been a great experience. I had a some very annoying sounds coming from it and compusoft stopped at nothing to fix it. The service on my new computer was fast and well done. Haveing faulty parts isn't there fault it's mainly the manufacturers. The two computer techs there are amazing and always will to help no matter what with any question or concern. If you are thinking of buying a gaming pc from compusoft I highly recommend it. The quality is outstanding and is going to be better then any pre built you can buy from Best buy by far.

When you first enter the store you are greeted by an employee who makes you feel welcome but doesn't try to pressure you in any way. The store layout is done in a logical manner and it is not hard to find what you may be looking for. If you have any questions about what you need, the employees are definitely knowledgeable about what they sell.

Check the prices before you buy hardware from here. As of this review they're selling a video card at near release price, a full ~70% markup over Newegg and Memory Express. I'm not saying avoid them unconditionally, but I strongly recommend checking your facts over any amount you'd lament losing.

My husband and I entered this store without our masks; immediately upon entrance an employee asked us to put them on, which we had absolutely no problem with and did so right away. He then mumbled a bunch of stuff under his breath about people not wearing masks and laughed rudely about the situation. We decided at that point we’d rather just shop somewhere else and I mentioned I really didn’t like the laughing/mumbling. He then sharply and loudly responded “well we don’t like YOU” … honestly, obnoxious behaviour and we won’t be going back here again. Apart from that unnecessary altercation, they’re also very overpriced.

And wasn’t sure about the availability on a very large grass mat (100inch x 50)) they had no issues try ing to cypher my wrong part numbers for it and found what I was looking for. 4 out of 5 stars because the selections of paints, model kits and landscaping supplies are fantastic. Just over priced on some kits, especially the 1/700 scale ships. Should not cost you $6 per inch of plastic.

I had to change my review from a 2 star to a 4 star. Not sure if they saw my review and fixed the problem but their Pokémon and trading card selection has gotten a bit better. They might not have inventory all the time or much of it when they do but the prices are very fair compared to a lot of other places. I would recommend this store. Friendly staff non the less

Where to begin....they helped me get ahold of the new AMD graphics card and processor for my first build. And when I had issues getting the system to post I was able to drop it off and by noon the next day they had fixed the issue, even though they were very busy. When I came to pick it up they took the time to show me where I had made the mistake so that I would know for any future builds. In addition they also corrected the ram speed and installed an update free of charge. These guys worked fast, were super helpful, and went above and beyond what I expected for service for a very fair price. Definitely will be going to them if I ever need something in the future. Oh and I got some DnD stuff there as well.....

If you're looking for newer GPUs and CPUs you may as well try other stores. The staff here doesnt seem to care about the locals coming to them for service. The guy who orders parts wont even accept people backordering any GPUs and CPUs. I guess it's too much work for him cause he wont be able to stand around and talk with a coworker. It's not like I'm the one losing my business if no one comes through the doors. The store is having some sort of identity crisis. It doesnt know whether it wants to be a dnd/warhammer/collectible store or a computer store which makes the visit very confusing.

got a corsair k55 keyboard for 115 dollars after I got it home I found average price of it being 80 dollars on multiple web sites. I got ripped of. and when I was looking around all of the computer parts were at least 30 dollars more then suggested msrp. I don't recommend buying pc parts here. I will be returning this product and buying a step up model for the same price.
