If only I could give less than 1 star. My Galaxy s7 was brought in for a new power button. They took it upon themselves to replace everything with cheap quality replacement parts. The back gladd is not only, not adhering to my phone but it doesn't properly fit the dimensions of my phone, but the volume and power button are loose and wiggle around with ease. And charging my phone for 5 minutes while on it makes it cooking hot, which it never did before. Last but certainly not least, who ever did the work on my phone was so terrible at their job that they disconnected the antenna inside my phone and I cannot get service anywhere anymore. I called my provider which was Rogers and they did all the resets they possible could but to no avail. This shop is absolutely horrendous and I would never recommend anybody to go here to get their device repaired because you will most likely get it back with more issues than before. Oh yah! And terrible customer service. I called the shop and all she did was repetitively say "we don't touch the motherboard at all". Maybe not but you sure as hell messed up my phone some other way. Terrible

I dropped my iPhone into the ocean while on vacation. Before I came to this place, I brought it to one of the places in the mall. What a mistake that was! I was told that because I had tried to see if it would work instead of leaving it alone for a that there was nothing they could do. They didn't even try to see if they could fix it not did they offer to help me get my photos and videos back at least. The just said I should have backed it up - well duh! That wasn't very helpful but yeah thanks. I had pretty much given up on but then I decided to see if there there was someone else who might be able to help. I brought it to Cell Phone Medics with the only goal of recovering the data. Well, I was surprised to be told that it just needed a few new parts and it would be good as new. I am so happy to have my phone back and it works perfectly! I'm telling everyone about this awesome service! Thank you!

Response to owner: Called you within hours to say the battery service warning was on the phone. You said what is the problem? Turns out when charge is below 20-25% phone operation totally slows down. I did not know this phone problem right away because the charge level was not below this till the weekend. I came in the second time six days after the repair. Your web site says you do iPhone repairs, how do you do this without Apple parts? Anyway I will not be back and iPhone users should beware. You have a good day. Iphone people STAY AWAY. Replaced battery, now Iphone 6s has lost some of its features. Namely battery diagnostics. When charge is below 20% phone operation is very erratic. When confronted with this "Tec" said I should have known better to take my phone to him. He stated he is just a third party repair facility. "Money wasted". Now I go to an Apple repair facility to fix the phone properly. Phone works though?????

I took my friend here to get his phone fixed and was totally unimpressed with the work done. How do you leave the tape mark under the screen? They forgot and when questioned about it, that’s how they ship them. Nothing you can do. Crappy workmanship and crappy attitude.

This guy fixed my phone for free when the guy at the mall charged me $20 bucks for the same thing. He also gave me valuable advice regarding how to take care of my phone battery, showed me what happens if I don't, and explained it on a way that made sense. He's also ordering a battery in for me.

I'd stay away. I had a terrible iPad experience similar to the other reviewer. I dropped it off for a replacement screen and was told they have them in stock and that it should only take a day or 2. I stopped in on day 3 after not hearing anything assuming it was done and was told there was additional damage and that they were just waiting on a part. I went on vacation for 10 days and when I got back I picked it up. Like the other guy my iPad had gone from black to white with no discussion at all on screen colour or options. The first time I used it I noticed the screen was not sitting flat and appeared to be lifting and withing the hour it had completely fallen off and was dangling by the wires. I took it in and was told that the factory adhesive is terrible and that he should have just used his own (then why wouldn't you do that in the first place?). He told me he would get on it right away so I assumed that meant same day.....nope, after a week and a half without hearing anything I stopped in and picked it up. Took him a few minutes to find it as their inventory/tracking is nonexistent. Both times I dropped it off I left my name and number on a sticky note......that's it. No receipt no paperwork no anything. If this place goes out of business (and it will) and you have electronics there I would be very concerned about not being able to get them back. EDIT AFTER OWNER RESPONSE I noticed on the other reviews the owner is quick to respond and place the blame back on the customer so I made a point of coming back to check his response and I'm glad I did. If the iPad frame was warped wouldn't it make sense to inform the customer that there was or could be an issue with the screen not adhering? It was not even brought to my attention. When I bring something to be repaired I expect it will be or given an explanation of what was wrong with it. He claims I was notified of the screen colour options and said I was okay with white. This is simply not true, screen colour was not discussed AT ALL. I never claimed I was told same day service for the replacement. I was told a day or two and when I checked on day 3 it wasn't done. After it fell off and I brought it back in I was told same day (which it should have been) and it took a week and a half with no phone call that it was done. Receipts?? I did not receive any paperwork other than a unmarked till receipt when I paid. I never had any record that my iPad was in your possession. Even though the fix did not cost me money I would still expect there is some form of paperwork showing I dropped off my iPad and that it was in your possession. In your responses you like to "yell" at your CUSTOMERS pointing out that the damage is their fault. You are in the REPAIR business, It's a pretty fair assumption that the product was damaged that's why you have it. As for bringing it to your attention before leaving a review... Not likely, I wouldn't bring anything I own back to you if you offered to do all my work for free.

Um weird experience
Took my phone in with a cracked screen for repair, and luckily enough, they had a new screen all ready to go. (It's rare that I find anything ready to go when I'm dealing with a Galaxy Mega! I can't even find a case for this thing locally.) Came back just over an hour later, and my phone was all done. Price was right in the range I expected it to be - in fact, a little bit cheaper than that, honestly. I was even informed that there was also a 2-month warranty in case any issues came up with the touch screen. Quick, easy, and efficient. If you're like me and you've been put off from other repair shops by some of the negative or suspicious reviews (such as by people who admit they haven't even been to those shops), go check out Cell Phone Medics.

Asked if they do tablet repairs. Went as far as giving all info on device only to wait for a call back.... nothing. The only reason I gave 2 stars is cuz he was nice guy on the phone.
If you want to know the level of professionalism used at this business just look at the responses to all of his 1 star reviews. This is exactly the attitude he gave us after ruining our IPhone. He will not give refunds or stand behind his cheap quality work. Don’t get scammed like we did.

Horrible customer service, over 3 months to get parts to fix a phone screen. says i can blame covid for that. Also says it would be X amount to repair then when I pick it up its more then originally discussed. after 3 months I'm still taking it to another business to fix my phone properly. I'm sure he will try and Debunk my review but if you read through other reviews you will see the true colors of this business.
I took my phone there because I had broken the screen. He replaced the screen and the phone worked but not properly so I took it back. He felt it could be a poor screen so he took it apart to Fix the issue. When I came to pick my phone up he said he could no longer connect the harness from the screen to the motherboard due to melted debris in the connection and my phone was now a paperweight. I took it to another another store and within 5 minutes the guy had the “melted debris” out of the connection but the phone was still not useable because the motherboard connection had been damaged. I called him back and he claims the original broken screen created the problem. Long story short, broken screen get new screen, worked but not correctly, try to get it fixed right, end up with a paperweight.

Ask about the warranty on the shops work before using them. Cheap parts with no warranty to back it up. I wish the shop used as much time fixing my phone correctly as he does trying to debunk all the People who he cheated and left one star reviews. I had damaged my phone beyond repair. Shaun was able to get into my phone and assisted me in retrieving all my contacts and pics and helping me get them on my new phone that I had brought. Response To owner: Thank god that we recorded the whole situation as well. Some how the phone only works with your cord and none of the 5 original apple cords, but manages to charge with your cheaply bought cord same as the cheap parts you used to fix the phone. Common sense is not to support fraudulent businesses by buying their cheap equipment. RUN! This guy has the worst store and worst customer service ever. We went to him with an iphone that wasn't charging and told him to fix it, we paid him. Then we come back for the phone and took it the phone still wouldn't charge. We went to him again and told him the problem was not fixed and he started yelling and saying thats not his problem the phone is fixed. We asked for a refund because the phone wont charge and he wouldn't give a refund even though on his website it says a 60 day customer satisfaction warranty. Then he said the phone is only compatible to charge with his cord and wants us to buy the cord for another 30 dollars. We wouldn't buy the cord and he wouldn't refund our money. The phone is still dead and ended up getting a new phone entirely. This guy is a thief, he doesn't actually fix phones. On top of that he has the worst customer service and treats people badly and you can tell just from reading his responses to other people on his reviews. We have the receipts for proof and we bought five different cords from bestbuy and telus to get the phone to charge and none of them worked.

Great place to take your broken cell phones. Very friendly and accommodating. I had just gotten my Samsung s10+ and had shattered the back of my phone. He was closing and stayed open for me to get to him. As I was living in sylvan at the time. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs servicing to their phones.

Hands down, this is the only place I will be bringing any of my phones, tablets etc... Before I even knew of Cell Phone Medics, I made the mistake of taking my iPad to a place downtown because of pure convenience. It needed a new screen which I was told would take one week. Long story-short, after six weeks, I started calling around and came across Cell Phone medics. It was because of the other great reviews that made me go pick up my iPad from the "joke of a business" and bring it to Shawn. I dropped it off close to closing time on a Tuesday, and by Thursday morning, it was ready be picked up!!! Right from the beginning, Shawn and his employees give off a very professional feel and their prices were exactly what I was going to pay at the other place! Keep up the awesome customer service!!
No good place got my screen fixed for 300 and it must of been a used screen cause its still messed for 300 it should b a brand new screen.
I was in a pinch for a working phone. I busted the screen on my Samsumg Galaxy A51 and I phone him just before Christmas. He said he could order screens but they wouldn't be in until after Christmas. I told him I needed a phone and I can't be without one for work. He said he would loan me a Galaxy S 7 until the screen comes in as long as I assume responsibility for the screen on that one. I said deal. I'm glad some cell repair shops offer this service to people.

Well where to start. Cell phone is ghosting on me. Screen is making noises when I push on it. I went back to get the 30-day warranty was told that that is just a common thing for the screen to make noises after repairs. Told me to reset my phone when it ghosts. And now I've reached out to Samsung and I'm getting a big F U from them. Because unfortunately this guy didn't give me a receipt didn't give me a service ticket or anything and unfortunately that is kind of my fault. It is just The complete opposite of what his website says that he stands by any phone for customer satisfaction for 30 days. And unfortunately when I went there today, he said there's nothing he can do that's the way it is. So I advise you. you to never go into this guy shop and do your research a little bit better and not go for the first person for a cheap price. Obviously, it is cheaper than everyone else because he's a hack and a con artist
Complete waste of $250. took my iPad in for repair after the screen was broken and had some dead spots. Was quoted 250 and a few days to complete the work. Over a week and a half later after being lied to about parts availability ( they were in stock when I arrived that day, or so i was told when they wanted my money) I got my iPad back, which much to my surprise had changed colour. They had replaced the black screen with a cheap aftermarket white one. When I brought up my dissatisfaction with this, I was told I should have specified the colour before signing the work order. I wasn't aware they reserved the right to change the colour at their discretion. The home button did not seat properly and got hung up or jammed regularly. In addition the LCD they replaced was also cheap and immediately began to fail. bright patterns seem to stick to the screen and show for minutes after the image is no longer on the screen. Shadows everywhere. The screen corners did not fit properly, and popped out of their moulding regularly. I'm going to go buy a new iPad because every time I touch this one it reminds me of how horrible my experience was with this company. Beware.
Horrible service, way over priced and try's selling used parts claiming there new. If I could give 0 stars I would. The guy tried to sell me a used screen covered up with a screen protector. Luckily I noticed it when I was still in the parking lots. As he installed another screen he stripped out one of the screws and when I pointed it out he tried saying it was already like that. A week later my phone charger started acting up. He said it was a faulty charge port and had nothing to do with him. 2 weeks after that the screen started getting faded lines through it. I brought it there 1 week after the one month warranty, he said he's not coving it because I didn't bring it in during the warranty period.
Felt like he was trying to swindle me out of my one phone just to get a freebie on the work he did on my other one shady

Probably the worst service I have ever received. Rush the install of my screen. Then I took it home and turned it off because it is a work phone. 2 days later, turn it on and the screen pops out. I return to the store to hear two employees talking about how the screens have been popping out. I show them mine and because mine is cracked yet has the same problem they can't do anything about it. All they kept saying is "I don't know how that happens". Brutal that a problem is identified, caused by them and they won't even fix it. Even though they don't know how it happens, they can't stand behind their product. The fact that you use a poor supplier is not my problem. My $200 should not be taken due to a lack of due diligence done by your company. DO NOT GO HERE.
