Hands down the best guys in the Niagara Region. Don't even waste your time with others. We had a galvanized black chain link fence installed in our back yard. Our property has a lot of rock and shale. Yet was not an issue. Day one poles were installed. Day 2 fence was up. It was like they were never here. Professional, amazing eye for detail and very thorough. The owner insisted no payment until the job was complete. Came personally. To make sure his crew did the job up to par. Our expectations were exceeded. We are getting a wood privacy fence installed soon and I won't even consider anyone else other than Vanduzen!

Don't bother calling anyone else! Shawn and his wife absolutely nailed our fence job. Quality materials (where else do you see 6x6 posts?) and excellent craftsmanship give you a finished product that is well worth the money. Fantastic company! Not only were the crew professional and timely, but though out the entire process, Sean kept the lines of communication open by asking what we wanted - making suggestions (but not attempting to sway our minds for the best course of action). It was refreshing to see the hard working owner work side by side with his crew. The finished fence is a true craftsman’s testament, with all details carefully tended to. We HIGHLY recommend this company because - we completed the online quote and received a same day email response with a price. We arranged a follow up site visit with Shawn for the following week. Site visit quote matched the online quote. After a day we decided to go with VanDusen fence. We were given a start date within a month The job entailed 22 - 6 x 6 posts and 150 feet of fence all, plus a gate ; all done in two days! - Shawn was professional and personable and very knowledgable which assisted us to make decisions - We were building a wood fence next to an existing chain link fence. This proved not to be a challenge due to his expertise in fence building - The quoted scheduled start and completion dates where exactly is quoted - the site was cleaned up to the point that you wouldn’t even know that they had been there - The quality of materials used and the workmanship were top notch and I know that this fence will last many, many years Thank you to Sean and his team! A couple of years ago, we hired Mr VanDuzen to build a chainlink fence around our new property, which he did to our satisfaction. Recently, we received a notification from the owner of the empty lot beside our house, claiming that the fence built by Mr VanDuzen was 3 feet into their property. At our own expense, we hired a surveyor that confirmed not only that the fence was wrongly placed, but also confirmed that the layout we gave Mr VanDuzen was correct and therefore the fence was not built according to our instructions. Although we were disappointed with the discovery, we understood that mistakes happen and contacted Mr VanDusen to correct the issue. Our big surprise was that rather than admitting the error and work with us to solve it, Mr VanDuzen refused to fix it arguing that the fine print in his quote stipulates that it is the responsibility of the property owner to check his work. In the end we were forced to hire another contractor to move the fence using the same layout that was initially given to Mr VanDuzen. In our view, the two most important qualities on any contractor are their expertise and their trustworthiness to assume responsibility for the work done. Mr. VanDuzen cannot brush off with fine print clauses the fact that the mistake was not a 1” here or there, but a 3 feet error. Although making a mistake could happen to anybody, not assuming responsibility for it, made Mr VanDuzen a poor contractor.

Shawn and his wife did an amazing job on my 73 feet of fence it came out perfect they paid close attention to what i wanted and deliverd big time, they showed up on time provided excelent craftmanship and it only took two days start to finish they did everything i asked for and then some, the cost was very reasonable for what i got and the little extras i asked for last minute were of no additional charge. Fantastic job! Fast, and AFFORDABLE! Shawn and his crew came in and started taking down our old fence before we had even gotten out of bed. They had the old fence down, and sinking new posts by noon. They did all kinds of little extras for us, and were extremely knowledgeable. The workmanship impressive, to say the least, and best of all our 2 dogs can have their yard back! I can't say enough about Shawn and his crew! Thank you guys for all your hard work!
