Broke my iPhone 6 screen when riding home from work, it had fallen out of my jacket pocket, which I had forgotten to zip up, and they had the screen replaced within an hour of bringing it to them. Also had the battery replaced, as the health of the battery had diminished. Service was fantastic, I totally recommend it!

I dropped my brand new phone and cracked the screen. It wasn't working after so I was anxious to get it fixed. CellTek answered my phone call and were great about corresponding with me, all during the pandemic! No other businesses were answering their phones. They ordered the part right away, kept me in the loop of shipping times and when it was going to be in. They fixed it very quickly all while adhering very well to the social distancing practices. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Phone is good as new. Would highly recommend.

I hate to give a poor review… the staff were great! Very friendly environment! However… I believe there was some miscommunication with regards to my phone repair and it wasn’t done correctly which is now causing my new screen that they replaced for me to crack. The frame wasn’t fixed so the metal chards on my iPhone frame keep cracking my screen. I spent about $350 on the repair, if they either fixed the frame properly or had told me it would be a constant problem I would have just bought a preowned phone for a bit more instead of paying for repairs that aren’t holding up: I think they would be better for simple screen replacement verses total repairs like mine needed. Most of the other reviews are great so I do think I just had bad luck and like I said some miscommunication between the techs and the front of house staff.

My phone's screen was severely damaged beyond repair and so I went around town looking for a repair shop. The first place in town was basically just a cell phone case shop and didn't even offer to order the necessary parts to do the repairs. "It Happens Celltek", on the other hand, said that they would take a gander. And they did, they ordered the replacement screen, tried to install the new part but the phone tried set itself on fire, sent it to micro-soldering, but no joy -- cell phone was kaput. Even after all the labour and cost involved on their part, they didn't charge me for the work. Basically, if you want a repair shop that goes above and beyond for their customers, "It Happens Celltek" is the place to go.

My phone needed a screen replaced due to a growing crack and I did some research, and while they may not be the cheapest, they seem to be more than fair. Not to mention the security of backing their work with a 90 day warranty. The screen needed to be ordered in but only took a few days, was dropped off and ready for pickup within 2 hours. When it was dropped off they had said they've never done a replacement screen for this type of phone (iPhone XS Max) but you would never know as the screen seems like the day I got it. Also, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, very family oriented business which is great to see in this day and age still. Thanks for the fine work!

The second time - was no charge but - it came back the antenna ok but the finger print reader is now disconnected... Not going back. The other shop told me none of their replacement screens worked on my phone. I was worried there was something worse wrong with my phone, I told CellTek about it, they said no problem we can fix it, and 1.5 hours later my iPhone is back to like new condition with a new screen. I went in with a glitch on my cellphone that made it almost continually restart no matter what I was trying to do. The technician was able to quickly get the problem resolved and did a security check to make sure the phone went back to normal. He told me what he did in case the issue happens again. I went in thinking that there would be big repair or even having to get a new phone,. When I asked what I owed him, he did not charge me. I am happy to leave this positive review as I recommend them to anyone! Thank you very much ????

My Uncle went in trying to get information off his busted phone. Unfortunately they were not able to retrieve the information he needed off of it but did not charge him for the attempt. I called the store wondering how much it would cost to take a battery from one phone and put it into mine. I was told to call back the next day and speak with the owner which I did. The owner was very honest with me and informed me that a battery is no good once dropped so I asked how much it was to put a brand new battery into my iPhone 6S. It was $60 and it took them about an hour + a half to finish the job. I really appreciated their honest opinion and the fact that they gave 10 % discount to legion members. I would definitely recommend them as I don't know any other company that does what they do in Orillia.

I was camping on the long weekend, far outside of Orillia, when my cell phone died. I found It Happens with the help of a friend's cell phone and I drove 1.5 hours into Orillia. They recognized my unusual situation and did everything they could to fix the phone for me as fast as possible. The phone was a goner, but I'm really happy with how everyone at It Happens did their best to help me out.

My external hard drive - loaded with everything I had safely backed up - failed. It happens worked on it for 2 weeks. They found all the data but could not restore it. Despite all the hours they put in they charged me nothing. They sent it out to a tech who could retrieve everything. Very honest and great value. Also installed titanium phone screen cover. Because I have a hectic schedule, I was able to leave my phone for repair, go to work, and pick it up before going to my second job. Always friendly and honest (couldn't give me an exact time for how long it would take but I had no problem going without my phone in order to get it fixed). After a recommendation that they replace phone batteries, I decided to visit them. I have an older phone and have replaced the battery before a few years ago at another business for about $125 and 15 minutes of my time. I'm familiar with the process in replacing batteries, I've watched a tech take apart my phone, test the new battery, place it and seal my phone in front of me in 10 minutes. So I was dumbfounded when I was first upsale pitched on buying a normal 100% battery OR a 128% battery life battery. I'm not sure how 128/100 works but I don't think that's going to land well with anyone who has some knowledge. Phone batteries do degrade but phones display capacity degradation and you can charge and test to measure degradation. So you're either selling degraded batteries or not, inventing extra capacity out of air to me sounds like playing on customer ignorance. I work full time, my off hours everyone is closed and I can't wait around; so when I asked how long it would take to replace the battery they quoted an hour or more. Once I heard that I thanked them and left. I understand businesses have different policies and ways of doing things, but if other businesses can do the same task, faster, accurately, transparently to a customer and at a clear fair price; there is room for improvement. Nothing against them, that's how they operate, I had a need and they couldn't fulfill it.

Worst experience getting a phone repaired ever. Paid over $200 for a screen replacement and after more than 3 visits to the store, in less than a month, the screen continues to lift/comes loose when phone gets warm; not hot, warm! The owner wants to bandaid his shoddy work by having me use a case to hold the screen in place. A better adhesive and proper cleaning and application of the adhesive would correct this less than apprentice workmanship. I won't be back and I am contacting the Better Business Bureau.

The staff here is absolutely excellent. I am an older lady in my late 70s and my son just gave me his old phone. This is my first experience with a Smart Phone, as I have always had flip phones for emergencies. Every time I stopped in to this store after getting my phone the staff has been so patient with me. They walked me through the basics of using my phone and gave me a few tips to look up on my own, once I've learned to use the basic features a bit more. My spouses I-Phone crashed and froze. Despite efforts to self remedy with assistance from on line tutorial it would not reboot. We took it to IT Happens this morning and met with Ms. Jordan Bourget who was incredibly polite and knew exactly what to do. She had the i-phone unlocked and ready to go without losing any data in a matter of minutes. I cannot stress how my spouse and i were very impressed with Ms. Bourget's professionalism and technical skills. We highly recommend this business in the event you require service. Very bad experience with this repair store. After replacing the glass on my LG Aristo-camera would only take upside down selfies. Secondly the replacement glass cracked in many places and store would take no blame for camera issue or inferior glass replacement. Keep away from this place. Very disappointing. John Leskew
