(God bless the hock shop) I went to best buy to get a xb1 and they no longer had the model I was going to buy went to the hock shop they had it at a big differce in price bought it sadly brought it back because you need to be online to do the initial start up brought it back got a ps4 and am now a happy man in short god bless the hock shop.

I would just like to thank the store owner Dave for going above and beyond after my order was accidentally canceled. Not only did he personally call me to apologize, he also held my item until the money got refunded back to my account. Then offered me a discount, and instead of having to pay for shipping, he is personally going to deliver my item to a store close to me so I can pick up there. What could have been a very stressful incident, turned into a great deal and easy purchase for me. Less than a week b4 xmas, this could have gone much different. Especially, because it is a PS4 that I ordered, and they are not available many places. My daughter will be thrilled on Christmas morning, and I am thrilled with the money I saved, and the convenience of picking it up in my city. Thank you Dave! I appreciate all that you have done to ensure my receipt of this gift.

Went to the orillia hock shop. The staff were to busy on there computers to help me properly. They got a young kid to assess the value of my gold ring I was thinking of selling. He had no idea and the women that had to leave here computer wasnt interested in helping me, just getting back on her computer. They didnt know or care how do do an appraisal..I have bought alot of stuff there over the years ..not again

I would Absolutely recommend the Hock Shop Orillia to anyone. They're Always extremely helpful, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra distance to ensure you're happy and secure with your purchase. Should any issues come up, everyone there is quick to solve them to your satisfaction. I've bought many different game systems and games, TV's, tools, phones and box sets from there over the years, and have only the best things to say about my experiences. They're my first stop as soon as we need any one of the items they carry! You should Definitely go see for yourself, you'll be very glad you did :)

I have been going to the Hock Shop for many years and every single time I have been in this establishment I have left a happy customer. The staff that work there are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional. The prices are extremely good whether it be if you are looking for a loan, or looking to purchase. The store it's self is very organized and always clean. The location couldn't be better as it is just minutes away from the bustling Downtown area of Orillia. At the end of the day, when you walk in through that front door you instantly feel welcomed, whether it's your 1st time or your 100th time, you are always greeted with a smile and a hello. I strongly suggest whoever is reading this visit the store and find out for yourself!

They say and have in writing that they pay top dollar for gold and silver. They offered me half what their competitors gave me. The woman working was very rude and made me very unwelcome once she knew I wouldn’t be taken advantage of. It’s in a dumpy area and right across from the methidone clinic so make sure to lock your doors if you stop by.

Contacted via facebook with questions regarding a product the owner had listed on his page, asked for more details and photos and he only directed me to the website. The website did not answer the questions I had and so I messaged the owner via facebook once again asking for more information on the product and he would not answer any of the questions. Not a reccomend business as he does not seem to care at all regarding customer inquiries. Seems to me the lack of customer service shows his work ethic.

I came to The Hock Shop Orillia looking for a specific item I had been unable to find anywhere else. Not only were the friendly and knowledgeable staff able to locate it for me, I found several other treasures I never dreamed I would find, and at extremely reasonable prices! Tried to pawn my flesh light here the other day and they gave me 75% off retail value only because it was “gently used” . These guys are a bunch of gems for real. I gotta hand it to them I was trying to sell this thing all over town and they where the only ones that came though . Real classy gentlemen and love a good ol flesh light in my books. Went in on nov 11 to sell an antique 50oz .999 silver bar from the best name in the business. After examining the bar ( and calling the company I bought from, I’m assuming to find out what I bought it for. She came back with an offer close to half of spot price! I was a little taken back as numerous others offered me spot value but I had thought it better to keep my money in my community To top off my visit, the moment I expressed I would not be selling for that price she said “that’s fine” while turning around and walking away. Could understand if she was busy but I was the only one in the store. Would not recommend to anyone.

I was shopping around for an engagement ring within my budget and discovered that the retail prices at all jewllery stores were atrocious so I asked my mom if she could help me find a nice ring in my range and right away my mom suggested The Hock Shop Orillia, where she went on to tell me how they have helped her being in times of need. In fact my mom said " lets go to the " Hock Shop " I was so excited because as u know I needed a nice ring for my future wife ! When we arrived I was shocked that they knew my mom and even called her by our last name, right there, I was so comfortable with the warm greetings they gave us but thats not all, when I seen they`re Jewellery section WOW I could`nt believe my eyes ! Yes I found a ring that was not only affordable but made my girlfriend melt and she said " YES " and we are very happily married now however after I bought my beautiful ring that I saved an enormous amount of money I decided to have a look around. The first thing I noticed is how clean the store looks and the friendly staff I instantly turned the " Hock Shop Orillia " into my favorite place to shop as they have a huge variety of the top models in cell phones, laptops, ipods as they are available as well as all sorts of interesting electronics like, recievers, speakers, blueray players, really nice guitars and top notch tools as they are available...the interesting thing is, the staff told me was, you never know what u can find at the " Hock Shop Orillia " I hope you make the " Hock Shop Orillia " your favorite store too ! " Hocka Hocka "

I stood in there for 5 mins while I was ignored. Staff busy talking and not even to customers. I was going to buy a large quantity of silver bars but I won't step foot in there again. Their loss not mine! Should really pay more attention to people waiting at the counter.
