Friendly and polite, Jimmy troubleshot my issue and offered a fix - that fix didn’t repair the entire issue, but Jimmy was immediately ready to have another look and pivot to another solution that did the final trick. Jimmy is the best! When our dog chewed through the power cable and connector of my sons MacBook Pro Jimmy fixed it for a great price while I waited. Even a little job like this he took on even though it’s barely worth his time. Other people would just throw it away. Now I feel good about not adding hazardous waste to landfill! Apple couldn't fix my dead MBP 2011 15" with AMD GPU issues. It took about an hour and got my MBP back to life! Do not reflow the board or swap boards! Do this instead.

Jimmy is the best! After talking to the Apple service dept online and being told there was nothing they could do since my 2012 Macbook Pro was considered obsolete, Jimmy was recommended to me by several people in an online group. He was able to repair my computer in 24 hours and it works great. The cost was very reasonable. A few weeks later I had another small concern unrelated to the first repair and he check it out and fixed it in 5 mins. I would highly recommend his services. Easily the best Apple maintenance company I've come across. I had a macbook pro on it's death bed barely turning on. Excellent service! My Macbook Pro hard drive crashed and I thought I lost everything. When I took it in, he was able to not only retrieve all my files, but even went the extra step to transfer everything onto an external hard drive for me as a back up as well. Returned my Macbook to me in better condition than before. He even went above and beyond by changing old keys for me as well. Incredibly quick and affordable service. Would 100% recommend! I have a mac air that lost its backlight. Jim was awesome in repairing this issue as he was quick (one day turn around) and very friendly. All these comments about Jimmy are BS. They don't really capture how amazing he is. I only gave him 5 stars because this system does not allow for a billion stars. At first i thought that these comments were fake until i worked with him and realized that they were understating this master of MAC's. and now, here i am commenting. Thanks Jimmy, you saved me a fortune. Please don't haggle with him, just give what he asks( very good rates) as he deserves more.

Fantastic service. Highly recommended. My 3yo spilled milk over the keyboard of my MacBook Air. After turning it off, cleaning it, and letting it dry for a few days, it was still mostly working (booting up, etc.), but the keyboard & touch pad were acting up. I took it to the Apple Store first. After making me wait 30mins past my scheduled appointment time, they took my computer in the back and quickly returned. They quoted me close to the cost of new laptop for the repairs. They said I needed to replace the keyboard, touchpad, logic board, and I think the battery too. Without letting me see the inside of the computer, they said it was all covered in milk residue. The Apple rep suggested my best option was to buy a new MacBook. I called Mac Speedy Repair. Within 30mins of my call, Jim had my MacBook open, carefully inspecting everything. He showed me the very limited milk residue that had made it into the computer. He cleaned it thoroughly and replaced the minor components that were damaged. It works like new, for a fraction of the cost, and was completely repaired in less time than I waited just to be seen at the Apple Store. I couldn't be happier with the service. Thank you!

I took my water damaged macbook pro here. I live in West-End Toronto, so it is quite the drive. But after getting insane quotes and bad service from local shops, I decided to make my way out here. And I had called the owner, and he just always seemed happy to answer me!!! Not the same experience I had in other stores. All that I can say is great service, fast response time, and very professional! The owner knows his stuff and he is understanding too. Would recommend for sure!

I own a 2011 MacBook Pro with a 17" screen that I really like. About a month ago, the AMD video card failed (as verified by Apple). They no longer sell replacement parts. So I bought a new machine. However, being reluctant to part with my old one I searched the web and found MacSpeedy Repair. After several emails back and forth, I was convinced they could repair it. So today I went to get it done. It was done in about an hour while I waited. They clearly know what they're doing!
