Piss poor product management and customer service. $1400 Zenbook uses a tiny power-in terminal that is weak and it broke. I COULD NOT get Asus to send the correct replacement. NOBODY there knew where to get it and they kept sending the wrong replacement part, and because of some weird configuration, the generic laptop power supplies didn't support the physical input jack. It was a joke, like the inmates are running the asylum.

I've been here couple of time and everything is good. However how is that possible that you go in a ASUS store and they don't know about asus product

Krrish Thanvi

They are a joke on the name of service. Never buy Asus and never visit this place if you've a Asus device! Seriously, one of the biggest flaw in the organization is after sales. Made my case, built the drama and then it's like we don't care. Takes them 10-15 days to repair a device, and till then you stay without a phone? Poor service.

Horrible customer service, say they will do something and I will have to call again because they dont. Expensive repair costs.. also replaced the back of my laptop with all my stickers from travelling for a new one without my knowledge so I lost all my stickers. Really dissapointed in their service and probably wont buy again.

Worst place ever to get ur laptop fixed. They took my laptop cuz I my keyboard wasn't working. And after 10 days they sent me an email with a total of 768$ to change the damaged motherboard. Keyboard, track pad, and usb pcb module. I don't know how come asus isn't taking this branch down. And fire everybody.

Bing Zhao

Sent my 2 months old ROG laptop twice to them for the fan noise fix. First time did not fix anything, but broke some pieces. Second time did fix the noise, but broke bottom cover pins. Now 6 months later, the fan noise came back again, and send over again. I will never buy an ASUS product. I'd destroy the machine in my hands better than theirs.

brett rain

I sent my motherboard there through the mail. They said they would have it done by Friday and they got it done by Friday. I know many have had negative experiences with them but they honored their side of the warranty for me and got everything done exactly how they said they would.

john chen

This absolutely great system they asked me only two things, and boooom done, shipped got it back in 1 week and a half all fixed working better than ever completely free as well because I have warrantee

Izidro DaSilva

The service provided by Peggy was nothing short of magnificent. I was helped outside because there were too many people in the building according to covid protocols. Peggy came out and politely help me with my warranty submission and was very informative and thorough. I received great customer service and there was some quick thinking it went on to make it happen.

Called numerous times two days in a row and stayed on hold for an hour on one of the phone calls, no one ever picked up. So far they are 3 days past the 7-10 day estimate they gave me for the repair I wanted and I can’t get a hold of them to even ask what’s happening. RMA tracking number they gave me doesn’t work either. Called and filed a complaint with main ASUS phone number.

SKRT Samurai

Get ready to be put on hold 2-3 hours just to contact them. expect delays lasting weeks when repairing your products. ASUS International is doing its job but ASUS Markham is not. I had warranty and ASUS Markham attempted to charge me so then I had to recontact ASUS international just to get this resolved (they tried charging me 1200 CAD for some scratches when I had ADP) now I am still waiting (week 3) just to receive a replacement or a repaired product.

I had to RMA my ROG laptop for a broken screen to Asus Canada in marhkam less than 3 months after purchasing it. I received it back in the same printine condition I sent it in. 100% fixed. it took less than 3 weeks to receive it back from the date I sent it off. I was extremely impressed considering some other reviews I had read. 10/10 would buy Asus again

Life of Tommy

Please teach your people phone manners, to be honest this people i talked to over the phone are freaking rude. They dont show concern or anything to think that im just following up on a repair and not complaining about anything.

Usha Das

About six emails on 6 days back and forth solved my issue. ???? Also 3 calls to elicit vague replies at the onset to get the first contact with customer center????

Booyaka Stubbs (ExplorewithStubbs.com)

Poor customer service, seems like they have 2 speeds here: 1. Dead slow 2. Stopped... Can not and will not be treated like I don't matter. Had to get the international or main office to give these chuckle heads a wake up call and get on the ball...obviously not buying any products that make me deal with these clowns. Lesson learned, never again

Laptop broke due to a design issue; no user inflicted damage. Service center was unable to fix the 2019 Zenbook model due to no parts. Customer service was unsympathetic to the issue and did not offer any viable alternatives. Had to replace Asus laptop just over 1 year of owning it. Bad product and even worst customer service.

Not excellent but they are trying at least their best I brought my Asus Rog Republic of Game here at this repairing service center it had a touch pad issue you all know the common issue with the touch pad with Asus but lucky for me it took 5 days and they could fix it but it didn't last longer after like 4 to 5 months later the same issue returned.

I sent them my laptop with the official box and all the passwords for the laptop the send it today its factory reset i lost all my valuable information and all my work.

My Asus phone was having issues with ghost touch, and it was still under warranty. This is my third Asus product I've purchased, and it is the first and only issue I've ever had. I brought it to this service centre, and they fixed it and had it shipped back to me within 6 business days as promised. It's as good as new now. My only issue is if someone is going to be without their phone for six business days, it would be nice if they could provide a loner for that time. Had they done that, this review would have been five stars.

No help whatsoever. Dead battery, Canadian online store sold out, webpage says "No problem, you can visit this store". I google the location, call the number, get Asus support in some other country, blah blah so happy to provide you with that service sir, but I can't actually help you, now I'm going to put you through to the store. Wait on line for five minutes and the call hangs up. Call the number she gave me, it's support in some other country again, and the guy won't give me the number for the G.D. store an hour away from me to check if they have a battery in stock. Zero. Help. Whatsover.

they get no stars . i have been dealing with ASUS for over 20 years . now i have been 3 months working with a run around . no results . and we will have a level 2 tech call you . after 10 times of this via emails phone calls none have came …

I have sent my ZenFone 3 Zoom into get the usual white line on bottom of the LED screen fixed (seems to be a known issue). I informed the two service members I was in contact with that there was physical damage to the glass covering the lens on one of the rear facing cameras. All said that I could still get the faulty phone screen repaired under warranty. RMAed it and made sure to specify the physical damage. I have now received an invoice to repair the minor glass damage, and of course it is quoted at 10 times the price to get the part from an OEM reseller. Disputed the claim and have not received any further contact from the centre. Very disappointed in the customer service at this point. Update: After 6 business days longer than the estimated repair time, my phone was sent back to me via express shipping. It took me looking at the tracking info and contacting the shipping company did I notice they forgot a digit in my home address. I gave them the proper address in my RMA. I had to contact the shipping company myself to change it because the support employees were of little help. No offer to make up for their mistake. Was a 100% worthless experience.

Endovior E

Excellent service; they handled my warranty issue quickly and professionally. I'd buy another ASUS machine, largely due to the efforts of these guys!

I have probably never seen such untrue reviews before. This service center will replace and help you out completely if you have a warranty. If the damage doesn't break its warranty, then you are fully covered and have nothing to worry about. My motherboard was replaced fully when it was found to be defective. Don't believe the reviews.

Asus used to be the tech company that stood by there product. Not now their products are cheap and not durable. Took laptop to repair quote (knowing a bad cable) the quoted me $565. The cable i seen online for $35.To replace screen ,besel... I bought new for $600???. I have had two mother boards go bad for failing capacitors. I will never buy another Asus product again. The kicker is warranty on service part s are only 90 days. Wow 95% of cost of new with 5% warranty. Keep away . I build custom pcs and will stop using anything Asus...

Trying to find the Asus ROG 5 phone and just like when I tried to get the Asus ROG 3 when it came out it’s like trying to find a unicorn in the wild. They never return emails. I’ve called and they can’t help you. They don’t even know where to get it. Why release a product and make it impossible to get? That’s not how sales is supposed to work! You might make more profits if you make it accessible. Very important step in making money. It’s prude insanity how you conduct business.

Asus has been the one brand that has given me the most stress and torture in my life. Being a student living in the 2015 world, a laptop is greatly needed and is advised and used by almost every class and assignment. However, this ASUS laptop from the very beginning has been giving me torture. First day I open it the letters stab my finger, the next week it doesn't work and has a glitch. This happened for six months. I have returned my laptop to get fixed atleast six times. Now that I got it back after a month of repair, my internet only trobuleshoots with this laptop, and the keypad and mousepad act randomly. The company does nothing to help fix the laptop nor does Bestbuy or Futureshop. Completly don't recommend anyone to buy this product or use thier service. Nobody really is willing to help or completly fix the issue they just want to get it done quickly.

worst customer support ever. I called them, some one picked up after 10mins of ringing;gave me wrong link to their website. Finally found the website, but no parts in stock, everything sold out. they will not be able to order it for me if it's sold out he said.

So i need to leave 5 stars for the customer support. I bought a motherboard for my first PC build, but I was not aware that I needed to install the new mobo drivers on the harddrive. Thankfully Asus told me what I needed to do, and I was able to arrange a technician to install the drivers. So 2 weeks after getting everything working I am skimming through my voicemails, and to my delight its Asus leaving a message saying to call them if I still have issues with my building process. That impressed me alot, and the fact that I bought an outdated motherboard but they still offered AAA customer support. Thank you Asus, and all your wonderful employees!

yussuf mohamed

Within a week, I got my computer fixed and shipped back to me. -1 star for a one day delay asking me to pay while I already had coverage.

I brought my laptop for repair . It was done, but in couple of days it was down again, but the owner told me not to worry and they will fixed for free, because it on theirs waranty. It's took around the week for the last time. But it's working properly for now. I recommend this place for sure.

My Max 3 Zen phone after 5 months will no longer hold a cellular connection. After replacing the Sim card and doing 2 factory resets the phone continued to have sporadic calling and texting capability. The only help Asus would provide after being on phone with them was for me to ship it to them for repair and I would be without a phone for 7-10 days. I explained that I run a business, can you loan me a phone while you repair my phone and the answer was NO. Don't expect help from them if it is a hardware issue.

Always looking after the products. RMAs are always handled fast and hassle free. Drop off is really convenient, lucky to be so close to a service center. I have had multiple products serviced or replaced here (I buy alot of tech for work) and the process has always been smooth. I guess it could be different if the damage or problems are user created as many other reviews describe. This is a manufacturer, not your local IT shop. Software issues are not their problem. Physical damage is not their problem. Damage from dirty electricity not their problem. Also, working in IT. People often buy cheap computers and compare them to expensive computers. Cheap computers are cheap for a reason. Honestly spend more on a PC than you did on your iPhone before you complain about quality.

(Translated) After having to return a graphics card (for the living room computer) ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER Advanced 4GB Edition because of an off-axis fan (replaced by an NVIDIA that works wonderfully) ... I bought it About two months ago (for my main computer) an ASUS ROG-STRIX-RX5600XT-T6G-GAMING (the Top) and since then, nothing but problems! First, the fans on this card do not automatically start in performance mode (dual BIOS) by default, a special procedure must be used in Radeon Software to fix this problem. Then, even once this annoying glitch has been resolved, the fan rotation speed is not displayed in the HWMonitor utility, only in Radeon Sofware or MSI Afterburner! Otherwise the displayed idle frequency of the GPU is incorrect. But it gets worse: since the Windows 10 update of January 2021, the "lucky owners" of this card have found themselves, at first, with an occasional black screen at startup and more recently with this same occasional black screen. with the operating system in operation! No need to tell you that I am extremely disappointed. What is more, In these two months Asus has not offered any patch, no driver update capable of resolving this unacceptable bug in 2021. However, I have reported it several times to both AMD and Asus, nothing is changing. . Obviously, Asus and AMD neither have the skill set to manufacture functional graphics cards in 2021, nor the skill to develop a reliable driver-software package for this product line. And, taking into account what I had previously had to return a card of questionable hardware quality, I cannot recommend enough that you keep a safe distance from Asus products. As for me, they will never have a single penny again! They lost their reputation in my eyes and my trust, no turning back. Finally, I would add that when you contact their technical support team, you quickly realize that the employees know almost nothing about IT: I am a senior technician and it is laughable when you listen to their answers on the phone. read them by email. Well, I hope that this evaluation will be read by as many people as possible so that others do not have to go through all this inconvenience. You are advised, beware! Important addition: Ah! I forgot, this graphics card is presented by Asus as equivalent to an NVIDIA RTX 2060 but my GTX 1660 TI from the show is more efficient! Shame on you, Asus!

ASUS use to be premium products, now everything seems to be made very poor and not running right at all. I bought about 3 asus motherboards, one had to be returned 3 times and still got problems. Another problem i find is that its been about 5 years since ASUS came out with RGB and 5 Years later and the RGB Software is garbage, the rgb software will sometimes find my devices and sometimes it will not. There are times the rgb software will give me errors. If i was to use corsair rgb software for asus the lights works every time i start my pc, but with asus software nothing works right even after 5 years. ASUS Products has gone down hill, i would recommend users to stay away from asus products, and if you want good rgb do NOT buy asus RGB. My ASUS Strix x99 motherboard after returning back to asus 3 times they send me a used one with stickers on it, missing the rgb plate on the motherboard. And only 2x Memory Slots work out of 8. The motherboard is out of warranty so i am stuck with it now. And i cant use the full 32gb of ram i had because only two slots works. Next pc will have NO ASUS parts, only thing good about asus might be just support is helpful that is it. PICTURE: RGB Is Set To whatever because i have no control in the program. Sometimes it will show up but that is 30% of the time. Memory sticks are in the wrong slots and those are the only two memory slots that works. This is the motherboard asus exchange and send me.

Nappo S

Asus may be a good product, but there service is absolutely Nonexistent. I guess selling is all that matters! Been trying for days to just have a simple technical question answered regarding replacement of the battery for my laptop which only seems available online. And I only really need confirmation if it is safe to order and use that replacement battery for my particular model as it shows about 15 volt instead of the original that only has 14.4 volt.

Asus products are top of the line and the only thing better is their warranty. They even fixed a laptop that I messed up for free when the warranty didn't cover the damage, for free. Great customer service. They have a lifetime customer

My laptop had a keyboard issue and they took it in, saying it would take about 5-7 business days for the repair to be completed. They finished it in 3 and I got my laptop back fully repaired good as new. Honestly, this has been probably my best experience with laptop support as I've had issues with Dell and HP support but ASUS was amazing and quick.

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. Shipped my laptop here near the end of August, and took two weeks just to hear back from them saying warrenty would cost $250. I am a university student and I was really hoping to get my laptop back to take notes and buy online textbooks, so I don’t understand why it took so long just to hear back and not even have them work on my computer? The parts for my laptop have been “shipping” for two weeks, and a part of me feel like they’re cheap and I shouldn’t have bought an ASUS laptop anyways since my hardrive died AFTER LESS THAN A YEAR. My classes have already started, still don’t even have a laptop to type papers up on, awesome nice job ASUS. Never in my life had I had an electronic die on me so fast. My parents think i’m overreacting and that i’m impatient, but all the other reviews say otherwise. Communication is terrible, really rude and bad service, and everything is taking much longer than it should be. I know someone who got their DELL laptop fixed and they got it back in a week? What is your excuse ASUS. If you’re looking at an ASUS laptop, save our money and time.

I am.so fed up with Asus...a number of years ago I purchased a transformer prime...had it set in to repair the camera. Sent it to them and they repaired it. It worked for a while and I just didnt want to bother sending it back again when it quit.working a couple of months later i just used.my phone camera. I bought a keyvoard.for it and it died. So why did I buy a laptop from them...a lapse of judgement is my only excuse. So a year ago I purchased a laptop and struggled.all summer with calls to Asus support I kept Losing the internet after many hours with techs...i mean my time is worth nothing ..i learned to.troubleshoot it to make it work. I am an artist and my computer is very necessary to.me and with a couple of shows I couldn't be without my computer...so I just.kept doing what.the techs said to get back on line. Today my computer just quit So I.have to send it in. The disclaimer shipping instructions and more negative stuff make a you even wonder why bother sending it to.them maybe just buy an hp instead. But.i worked very hard to earn the money to buy this computer and can t afford to do.that I am.a senior and use.my art.money to purchase this. And...While.i am on hold.with the tech which took another hour and a half of my life...i have to.listen to what a great company.they are. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ASUS PRODUCT forgive the errors I am typing on my phone

My experience with ASUS support was great. I stupidly dropped my laptop & cracked the screen. Took it to Markham for repair, expecting to pay up to a couple hundred bucks, but since I'd bought it within the previous year, the repair was free! Hard to beat that.

My ZenFone 3 Zoom had an issue where the volume down button wasn't responsive and later there was a white line at the bottom of the screen, so I took it here for service under warranty without prior arrangements. I was greeted as I entered and it took 15 minutes to do the paperwork. Five days later, I came back to pick up my phone, waited 10 minutes for them to bring it out and it was good as new. Quick process and decent turnaround time.

Christian Di Patria

I bought 2 GTX780ti back in 2014 and both were defect. Not even a year after the replacement they sent was defect aswell and they only REPAIRED one instead of replacing them with better replacement since they aren't even doing the 780ti anymore since it was so bad. All reviews that i checked afterwards were bad.. i know i should have checked that before but i guess i had to learn not to buy Asus anymore so if you want to have a good videocard DON'T go for Asus...

Never buy Asus product. Waste of money! Bought Asus VivoBook i7 for my daughter's online classes in March. In August, it broke down, screen doesn't work and cant open it. Pls buy apple, dwell, HP, and whatever but never buy Asus. You'll regret it.

Laptop repair time is way too long then it should be even though its still in warranty!!!. They should just replace your laptop with a new one instead of making you wait for weeks upon weeks while they cant seem to figure out what's the problem. I'm still waiting..... Edit: I got it back jan 2 and Asus did a really good job with the reparing so im really impressed.

They kept postponing their walk in service even when we’re in stage 3 already. They finally opened in Sep. I brought in my defective monitor that had some bright dots. They replaced it with a slight better model. The whole process took like a week. I took it home, turned it on, BAM, its full of dead pixels, counted at least 5, and a 1in long blue line in the centre of the display. Brought it in the next day again. Took them two business days to find out that there's only two pixels, and that they couldnt find anything else, and THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO if there's two dead pixels. SIR, you gave me a DOA product, and now you tell me you can't fix it??????? I CAME HERE 4 TIMES ALREADY.

Dominic M

Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, but they couldn't fix my laptop because the repair shop doesn't stock parts for models older than 3 or 4 years

The customer service was very rude and very unapproachable while signing up for a computer repair. Had to return the computer multiple times before it was finally fixed!

My new Vivobook laptop glitches, called tech support and personally brought to the repair center. Gave me a quote for close to $200 due to physical damage. When I gave them it wasn't like what they showed in the picture (with a large crack on the screen). I've been using Dell, Acer & HP for 20+ yrs and they are still running well.. This is my first and will also be the last of my Asus experience (One pic shows what I sent them, the other with a red circle was from Asus telling I sent a damaged laptop so it is not under warranty and I need to pay). Update: Dec 23 at 10:27 pm got an email that they cancelled my RMA due to non-payment. Last few days I sent 2 emails after I sent my dispute by showing the "before" photo and how they must have damaged my laptop in their facility, but they didn't respond and now telling me they will send my laptop back to me unrepaired. This is a nightmare, I cannot contact with any live person and no one returned my emails. Update: After the dispute I got an email saying it was repaired so I went there on Jan 3, only to find it wasn't because I didn't pay online. The staff there didn't know about the dispute and they were merely doing their job so I would not blame them. In short I got a new RMA #, and 2 days later got a new quote, which 2 more parts were added. I was so tired of the whole thing. I paid and got the laptop back on Jan 13. The whole experience was bad and frustrating, but to be fair, the staff I came across (on the phone,/tech support, dispute handler, and at the repair centre) were nice. Maybe it was the technicians (especially because the first and 2nd quotes were different with the latter charging 2 more parts and my laptop was with them the whole time.

Called them 2 days ago about getting a replacement for my under warranty lap top. Still no promised call back from a supervisor.

I am Hypocrisy

I took my laptop (Asus UX501j) into this store, told them the problem. When I purchased the laptop and opened it when I arrived at home it appeared that it had a faulty LCD screen the 4K screen was pixelated and had fades along the edges. About a week later they called me saying they cannot find the problem and were asking me for more information. It has been over 4 weeks in total now, and I have not received an email to pick my laptop up, for one they said it would be 3 to 5 business days max, and secondly when I called to ask if i can pick it up or if it is ready they asked for my RMA number, I gave it to them they said it does not exist they asked for my name, still did not find anything, then they asked for my phone number they said we cannot find your case number, and implied I never dropped it off at the store, I have a copy of the work order and will go in the store next week, if they don't have it or lost it, I will ask for a brand new one, I hope at the minimum they will give me one, if not they deserve negative 5 stars. It was an expensive laptop which I purchased at $2,000, so how on earth could they loose it and tell me I never dropped it off, clearly they do not care for their customers. I hope this helps, even though they make good computers their service as a whole is garbage, and I hope no one else has the same problem.

Stay away from Asus and their Service Centre. My phone display went bad, no physical damage phone was in 10/10 condition. Upon follow up the service centre replied saying that there was physical damage, i immediately called and argued them to prove it and offerred picture taken just before sending them by mail. Then they changed the story and replied back to me that the phone had water damage. For $299 phone they asked me for over 700 dollars for repair. I knew this would happen since they want me to mail it at my cost, what happens behind the scene who knows. I have dealt with samsung in the past and they sent me to their nearest location near me where i have the physical interaction with the staff and i was satisfied. ASUS SHAME ON YOU. Will see how you survive atleast in Canada with these actions.

Do not Buy from Asus I bought a gaming laptop from for my daughter to use at University, hoping that the mother board and the overall computer will be more than she would need. One year later the Motherboard is toast, no power, she lost all her work. The laptop is having the same problem again, and now they want us to pay 800 dollars for a new board. This is unacceptable. Their customer service is a third party as usual does not understand the market and has to people skills.

Bubble Blonde

Asus was the first tablet that I have ever owned . I liked it the camera was excellent , the colors were vibrant , closer to real than Samsung . Asus has got excellent customer service. They are quick to sell you another one. I have switched when my first Asus ended up with malware, (not their fault). I would buy another Asus tablet.

Do not buy asus. My motherboard is supposed to be compatible with my ram and they said it was. ram will not work fully work with lighting the system. Stays on regardless if in sleep or not. They said they would replace with same board that will not fix it due to the board actually not being fully compatible. Company lies and will not fix my issue. Stay away from this crummy company. now need to buy a new motherboard since they lied.

Crystal Chin

Do not invest in this brand if your looking for a reliable laptop. It clearly has a product defect of a black screen and at some point it will happen to yours. If it happens within warranty then you are lucky they will fix it for you. But shortly after a year warranty it happened to my other child's laptop and I am having to pay to repair more than I paid for this laptop. I feel like this brand is a scam company knowing that their have a defect of a black screen.Do not invest here. This is the 2nd laptop within a 2 year time span that has a black screen problem..

They are dishonest and absolutely care nothing about their customers. On August 20, 2015 I sent in my laptop for repair. It was right before my warranty's expiration which was August 28. Then on September 2 I got a message indicating they won't fix for free because my warranty expired, so I called them out on their dirty trick and they agreed to fix it. Fast forward 2 weeks, nothing happened. I asked them what was going on and they gave the lamest excuse ever: they "ran out of spare parts". I gave them a nasty feedback on their website on September 21. Then the laptop got miraculously fixed the next day and returned to me the day after.

Worst customer service department ever! I thought the reviews were exaggerated, but they weren't. Trying to get a repair RMA is like pulling teeth. The front desk don't know whats wrong with my laptop. They speak with the repair people in the back & did not allow me to speak to the repair people. Man tells me possibly damage on my motherboard & when i ask how much they are this guy tells me as much as my 2 grand laptop???? Very disrespectful to lie to me about the cost. I didnt leave my laptop to get repaired there but brought it to a friend who said the problem was a simple $40 fix.

Don't know what so many people on here are talking about, but personally this is an excellent company who honour their warranty. I accidentally liquid damaged my laptop keyboard which was covered by the ADP. I followed the PROPER procedure and before you know it, I had a shipping label in my inbox. My son and I are sticking with Asus.

TERRIBLE. Being in Canada they offer me two phone numbers to call for support. One tells me that they can't help me with my issue because I need the component product support ( the other phone number ) Which is in the USA?! So they expect me to call a US phone number from Canada and pay for the long distance charges. Absolutely PATHETIC. I'm now calling the cooperate office (this phone number) To complain. The gentleman that answered the phone was VERY helpful, for a change. He explained to me that their primarily based out of Asia, and that's why they're delayed in providing a Canadian support phone number. He also suggested a way to resolve my issue. So I would recommend calling here apposed to the other phone numbers, and I hope, for their sake, they improve.

My husband sent his laptop in to be fixed, and they stole his hard drive. He had just bought it only a week old. he had an issue ( spilt water on it) so he sent it in. He had no issue paying for it to be fixed by the way. They promised it would be fixed. Covered because he paid for the extra policy. They kept toying with him for maybe 3 weeks to a month. Later at the end he had several employees call him saying his hard drive wasn’t there. They did NOTHING. It’s so upsetting because my husbands been with them for over 10 years. We switched to Lenovo…. Customer service is amazing with them!

Bought my computer last year and the warranty expired on november 21th and then on december 12 I called cause there were lines on half of my screen, they told me to send it and even if it was out of warranty they could help me with the costs, took them forever to get back to me after I called and the diagnosis costs were 586 dollars, when the computer itself costed me around 850 or so, but what pisses me the most, is that the computer was always under extremely good care, and the couldn't give me proper answers of how that even happened when the computer has not even one scratched, I will never use this brand again I am very disappointed.

I bought an asus laptop in Oct 2016. Right from the onset i have had issues with the laptop but wasn't aware that i had the option of getting a replacement. I contacted asus in December to find out what i need to do with my defective laptop. they gave me a runaround and eventually i had to drop of the laptop at the service center. in Jan they changed 4 components and the laptop was still giving me trouble. I had to go back to them and asked for a replacement and their response was that i have to go back 4 times before i can get a replacement. I can't believe Asus treats their customer this way. Its difficult to speak to anyone who can make a decision, and they keep giving me the runaround and pushback. I would warn customers never to buy asus product as this company treats their customers as S***.

We bought an ASUS phone less than 6 months ago, it was one of the worst decisions we made. It has some software or technical issue which is covered under warranty, As per ASUS it needs motherboard replacement and we are declined repairs under warranty because it has a very tiny body scratch on top left (not LCD damage) I don,t know what we say. You introduce rubbish and low standard products in market and later deny repairs for a ridiculous reasons. I am going to complaint to ministry of consumer service & BBB for breach of warranty.

Dylan DeJong

I paid the price of my laptop getting it fixed, and then half of the function keys don't work. I called them up a few months after I figured out the problem and they told me that since I hadn't reported it immediately that I am already out of warranty for the repair that they screwed up.

I have been trying to resolve my computer problems with Asus since February 12/2019. First with their technical staff, when that failed. I contacted the CSR on February 22/2019 and made arrangements to send my laptop in for repair. I was told my warranty did not expire until September 27/2019, On Monday the 25th. I got a phone call saying my laptop was not under warranty. Cancelled courier pick up. After repeated e-mails to CEO's office. I am now told warranty good till June 25/19. I have been with out my laptop for 39 days. No consistency, different CSR each time, response time way beyond 48 hours. I want results not excuses or apologies.

Just bought an asus lap over an msi worth 1100cad from staples. it was faulty just from the moment i opened it. broken touchpad and a poor performance although it had 8 gb ram and core i7. specs r pretty nice, but reliability is one of the poorest. Being an engg student i just coudnt afford to lose time sending my lap for service. even staples rejected me saying i cant fix it until i send it to asus customer care. I even doubt that such a customer care exists! even if it exists, Never ever will go for an asus lap again. This lap, which is the first one I had ever bought has drained all my confidence. Never again Ill reccomend asus. sorry asus, but its one hell of garbage.

I dropped my laptop off because the pin inside the charging port on my Asus Zenbook had broken off. Almost a week later I receive an email saying that the entire mother board would have to be replaced and all my data would be lost. Repair would cost $700.00. The laptop is not worth that much... Impossible to talk to a tech person - you have to talk to a customer service rep in the States who talks to the tech person in Toronto and eventually sends you an email back a couple of days later. Almost 3 weeks later I finally got fed up and took it to a repair shop downtown who replaced just the charging port for $95.00. Poor service, ridiculously expensive a complete waste of time. Stay away.

Daughter dropped the asus rugged chromebook and the screen broke. I called ahead to the repair center who told me it was under warranty. I drove 45 min to the center. Waited a half hour to be seen. (Person at counter was very nice). Ten days later I get an update that the chromebook will cost $205 for repair. I call and ask why I am paying and they said they made a mistake...not covered under accidental drop. I explain the laptop cost $229 new and why would I pay that much for a screen replacement. They offered 20% off. I said just throw it out. I have a better solution now....buy another brand and stay away from ASUS!

Mahnaz Alibeiki

I got my Asus Zenfone 3 8 month ago from Best Buy, a month after phone was not completely straight , I kept it in a cover all the time, but was not so clear why happened . I never dropped the phone . in Dec nothing in the phone was working properly . I am a very careful person with phone , I have no game and no social media on my phone is just for my business and talk , never dropped it. I took it to Asus they said it is bended and they don't fix it under guarantee they charge the price of the almost a new phone to give me a refurbished phone . the glass and the back of the phone has not have even a small scratch and the were insisting that either I was continuously sitting on the phone or I dropped it. The costumer for Asus is awful. I did not find them responsible to look at the case and even once they think if it is because of the manufacturing of the Asus . it is impossible that even if I carry it in my back pocket once in a while it get bended in the middle layer , It looked like that the battery and inside was kind of over heated and got bended.

ASUS charges high prices for warranty fulfillment. When my Zenfone broke three months after purchase, ASUS asked for 60% of the retail price to fix it. My money is going to a different brand. #FakeWarranty

The people working here were very helpful and straightforward. Had an issue with a fairly new laptop. Got it sent out, and a week later got it back functioning perfectly, without a scratch. I was definitely apprehensive of the place going in based on other reviews, but my experience has definitely given me confidence should I ever need to go back for something again.

Dead/faulty battery on 2 month old computer. Called Asus. Horrible customer service. Left me furious. They thought trying to download an upgrade for my motherboard would help. They didn't have a clue and their robotic demeanor did not help. Promised to call me back and didn't. I'm done with them.

I purchased an Asus X541UA-BS51T-CB laptop August 19, 2017. It was slow from the beginning and if I picked it up, it turned itself off. The retail store I bought it from suggested I call Asus directly. He walked me through a reset with the power button which took a couple of hours. This still did not fix the problem of the laptop being painfully slow and shutting off on it's own. I struggled with the laptop for the first 2 years and not used for the last 2 years. This week I decided to try the full factory reset, which during set up received an error message advising "something went wrong and couldn't reset" Did this numerous times to no avail. Found on google another way to factory reset, which literally took all day but did work. During the set up it turned itself off while it was sitting still on the table! So frustrating. So I powered it back on, still painfully slow, was going through the set up and it once again turned off. This was the worst $800.00 I have ever spent. I'll never buy an Asus again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

We wasted hours on the phone with the Call Centre and were unable to get a 3 month old monitor replaced or repaired. That was a zero star experience. In contrast, coming here for repairs took mere minutes. The rep was pleasant and completed the paperwork quickly. Let's see if we get a working monitor back ...

Evgeny Nirenshtein

DO NOT buy ASUS. The device that you buy can be Ok, but if at some point you will need to use ASUS warranty, you will have serious issues. The quality of their service is really bad. I had an issue with my computer's hard drive on the warranty which failed, and after the replacement, my computer became very slow. I sent my computer to their lab 3 times!!! in total and they did nothing, saying that they did not find any issue. All this, with that my browser, was loading for 20 min. Not saying that the repair was taking more than 2 weeks each time! that I stayed without my work tool.

Worst customer service and warranty coverage. I had purchased so many ASUS Products historically and spent thousands of dollars on ASUS. Lucky me never had to claim warranty. But this time my gaming monitor was blurry after less than 2 months of purchase. Called them and was advised to courier them monitor with buch of instructions. Dont use original box etc. Instead of repairing it I have received pictures of monitor where screen us clearly broken. And they are asking 500$ for repairs ( original cost is 250 $ lolz) . I disputed it and told them that monitor was good when used thier selected courier (fedex). But they are ignoring it and sending me emails and asking for money for repairs. I am never going to buy another ASUS again... Never ever .

Absolutely horrendous and untrained technical support. Bought a new computer and neither the Ethernet or WiFi would work after an automatic Windows 10 update on Day 1. After one useless hour wasted with Asus, Chevon (supervisor) told me to call my ISP and Microsoft or simply return the computer. They might actually be worse than Dell, somehow.

Was told over the phone by customer service that it would take 5-7 business days to complete the repair. When I dropped off the laptop they stated that it would take 3-5 business days. Today is business day 8 and it is still in the final testing stage. Unacceptable!

Stay away from ASUS gaming laptops. The service is horrible too. I would love to talk to ASUS Markham about their issues but I would then have to wait 3 hours on hold and sadly not everyone has time for that. I originally sent my laptop in because it was experiencing performance issues and internal temperatures of over 95 degrees Celsius. I had to wait 2 weeks just for an email back and hilariously they tried to charge me $1200 dollars (even though I had AD warranty) because I had scratches on my laptop when the RMA report clearly stated what I wanted primarily resolved ( performance issues and audio problems) . The only reason I even put scratches down in the RMA is because ASUS international clearly told me I had Accidental Damage warranty so it would be free. After many hours of back and forth customer service with ASUS International and Markham's exquisite customer support (they hung up on me the first time I called after waiting on hold 2 hours and 23 minutes, I will never forget this) ASUS International had to intervene and resolve this and I could tell the Markham employees were not happy. Now that they finally realized I wasn't gonna pay a dollar for them giving me a new screen and keyboard they got back to "work". I had to wait a couple more weeks for another email. I was so excited hoping that "oh finally I can use my laptop for my studies" but no, It was them asking for my permission to reinstall Windows. I am pretty sure if I give you my laptop and sign a bunch of papers you can reinstall windows. In the end after more than a month I got my laptop back with a report of what they've done. They took no action to fix the internal problems, the report was blank in that section. It only showed that the monitor, keyboard and the speakers were replaced. Fix up ASUS Markham

Fixed my laptop within 2 weeks for a screen and lid replacement. Happy with the service. The people that are complaining about the poor service, its your device and you have to give a call to keep track of it. Thats why you get an email for RMA number. Call the ASUS RMA number for Canada that is provided here. Also ASUS provides something called Accidental prevention protection that is part of the warrenty, please take a look if your device qualifies for it, normally tells on the original box that you bought the device in.

The 2020/2021 line of laptops has caused myself and many others nothing but problems. I sent in my computer twice for repairs on warranty, replacing a fan, the mainboard and the SSD. The same fan that was repaired is rattling and obnoxiously loud once again. Customer service is abysmal. Many issues reported online that Asus just ignores. I was an Asus customer for over a decade. Spend your money elsewhere, the brand just cares about making a buck now.

Pretty decent customer service. I came in to being my charger that broke when it shouldn't have. It broke seemingly due to poor quality materials. Anyways I thought I'd have to wait for a new one to be shipped out to me which would have been unfortunately due to the Canada Post strike but the guy called me over and handed me a brand new charger in the package.

I bought an ASUS notebook a year ago, and suddenly it died without any warning. No light, no display at all with power adapter plugged in. Luckily I found out I still have 1 more year of warranty, and and I was told to send this notebook to this place to repair. I will update this comment again once I have my notepad repaired in this service center. But seeing the rating of this center is only 2.8, I am a little hesitated. So I am going to rate this at 3 stars for now, and will update this rating after I got the repair result.

LEARN FROM ME! The product quality has really gone downhill over the last few years. I have a top of the line ZenBook that had these common issues: black screen flicker, trackpad clicking, and battery wouldn't last 3 hours. The battery was rated for 12 hours, lol. I asked them to send someone to show me how they ever got 12 hours out of it, I wiped the computer completely and the most I ever got from it was 6. Not 8, not 10, not the stated 12: but 6. They replaced the battery and display driver: no difference whatsoever. 6 hours if I'm running no wifi, screen lowest, keyboard not lit, no programs and if I'm lucky. I even told them I would stop bothering them if they could get the computer to even show me 10 hours of battery life. They were a pain to deal with, absolutely dismissive even when screen shots were provided for the battery life. Google the issues with ASUS, you'll easily find these same issues. It's a shame because my old chromebook by them was flawless and super durable. This will be my last Asus product, and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Learn from me, pay the extra (these aren't cheap computers to begin with) and get anything else. Or, at least buy a cheaper computer so you can say you saved some money. Lesson learned.

The service experience is bad enough for me not to want to buy Asus in Canada again. Extremely impersonal, expensive, hard to work with. Just not a company to give your money to, despite the lovely hardware. If you're buying a computer and you know you will never ever need service, you'll throw it away if anything goes wrong - by all means, go with Asus. But if you suspect you may need a helping hand at some point... Look elsewhere.

Don't waste your money. I have an asus chromebook after being dismayed with many years being loyal to apple. Now that I am a converted android user, I needed a tablet for travel so airplane rides became less mundane. I bought a zenpad for this purpose since I have no complaints about my laptop. Two months into owning this zenpad it will not turn on. I reached out online and found their repair centre was local to me, so I took it in to repair the power issue. When I get to the desk of this repair centre, the employee notices there were some hairline scratches? maybe cracks to the top of the screen which I found surprising but acknowledged them and explained I have no idea how it got there. The tablet has been sitting in my nightstand for a montj and the rest of this product did not have a dent or scratch or any damage at all....it was strange but he assured me this was reasonable to claim for warrant service since there were no visible signs of impact, and if it had been dropped there would certainly be a dent or damage to the case, and its in perfect condition. I get updates via email they won't repair my power issue since the screen is damaged. They want almost $200 to fix the motherboard and screen. When I dispute this, they reduce the cost by 20%, and when I escalate further they tell me they will give me a 50% discount on labor (amount of $25) and waive shipping (which was always free to begin with). I ask why do I need to pay over $100 for a motherboard replacement as written on the invoice when this should be covered under warranty? I am willing to pay for the screen but that means I should not be paying for warrantable items such as the motherboard. Thry tell me there is nothing else they can do. I call the 1888 number for support and the people keep tranferring you to the wrong person over and over again and online chat cannot see the internal notes or decisions. This experience is like watching the show the office. I live in an ipad household and I have gone into an apple store once or twice and telling them my kids dropped it and the screen is damaged. I have gotten replacements on the spot. I should have known you get what you pay for. One day if/when I have an issue with my chromebook, I will know not to bother to the repair centre, what a waste of time. Take my advice and buy an ipad, even if you're not an apple user. There is absolutely no need for anyone to experience this service. Pay the higher price and you will get better service and support. If you add the costs of what they want to charge you for repair, you are spending ipad type money anyway. I now have an expensive and powerless paperweight.

So because Asus wont let you post to their page, I'll post this here I purchased an Asus laptop through Best Buy last year and when I received it the monitor was damaged from shipping. I sent it in for repair and when it came back the original damage was fixed, but the casing was left open and the screen would flicker on and off. Sent it back again and when it came back it was physically fixed, however the administrator account had not been removed from the machine. Because of this the laptop is useless; I can't do anything to the OS, remove/edit program files, or even load an external hard drive without the administrator permission. When I spoke with them over the phone they said "...at this point the only way to fix it is to factory reset." So basically I purchased this new computer, it was damaged twice, returned to me in a useless state, and now I have to wipe it in order to fix their mistake. Asus has offered nothing in the way of customer compensation or satisfaction and even though have I have had an Asus for my last 3 computers I will never get one again. They are still giving me the runaround saying I used up the 30day return time even though I was at THEIR repair center.

fiBee

Be warned - if your charger becomes physically damaged (in my case the casing cracked and wires broke in two places) they will NOT replace it under the warranty. So a 6 month old ASUS laptop is now useless unless I purchase another charger myself. They seem to assume that if the charger is physically damaged, then it's the customer's fault - mine became damaged through regular use (plugging it in and unplugging - not excessively!) yet they refuse to replace it. Never buying ASUS again.

Terrible warranty centre. Took over six weeks to fix my phone and the communication was awful. The information they did provide was often wrong and when they finally fixed my phone they said had trouble sending it back because they claimed my address was wrong, even though it wasn't. Avoid ASUS at all costs.

If your laptop is in warranty there is no issue, because my laptop was sent for repair at ASUS markham and returned within 2 weeks. All the necessary things were replaced without any charge since it was in warranty. Only the thing is that they clear all the data and reboot your windows, so keep that in mind before giving your laptop. backup your data.

thiru sat

never ever buy this product , you will not get manufacture warranty , i bought ASUS tablet less than a year , that was defect after 6month , i send to ASUS warranty , they blame the customer ,said that is their fault , the did not fix and send it back to me

Chris N

Took two weeks for them to send a return shipping slip via email. 1 hour fix, 2 hours away, 2 days to ship there(because of weekend) and 3 weeks to get it back. Hmmmm. Room for improvement. I have absolutely no doubt first tech support I talked to was very smart in computers, the language barrier started a bad ripple effect though. I Believe I was talking to a gentlemen from India. They need to push aside any criticism and match languages appropriately. Its business not personal.

WORST service ever. I sent my Asus Tuf monitor to fix after 3 months used. 2 days later, delivered with screen broken. I sent messages, no answer yet.

Terrible ! I'm so disappointed. I'm struggling as I'm writing this. I spilled a little bit of iced tea on my laptop about 1-2 months ago. My laptop was brand new, only had it for 2/3 months. I sent it here for a fix, and it took 2 weeks. Not only that, a month later, the keyboard doesn't work. Some of the keys - s, t, y, g, v, and some others stopped working. I'd have to keep on pressing it or hold it until it works again, and even then its a 50-50 chance of whether it'll actually appear on the screen or not. This also happens every time my laptop falls asleep. Turning it on and off again doesn't help. I'm extremely frustrated right now. I gave my laptop for these guys to fix and instead I'm given a broken laptop. $1000 my ass, never buying asus ever again.

I had a satisfactory experience from this repair facility. I needed to RMA my graphics card, so I was instructed to send it here. The customer representative was nice and courteous. The response time between emails were fast as well, good job. However some of the areas where this rep could improve upon is her knowledge of the products. I RMA my GTX 780 but she only offered to return a GTX 970, and not a GTX 980, when they claimed my card could not be fixed. One week later when my card finally arrived, I found several minor issues. First of all the card I had received was a refurbished card. Some of the issues I found was that several screws were loose, causing the heat sink shroud to rattle. The fan header on the PCB had been bent as if someone had used excessive force when connecting the fans. I would also like to mention that throughout the whole RMA process, I had spent a total of $130 due to shipping and upgrading fees because I eventually received a GTX 980. TL;DR if you're in Canada and have a problem with your ASUS product, you're better off buying a new item.

I was having problems with printing. I had thought that it was the printer, so Technical support at HP tried to get my printer up and running properly. After being on chat for over 2 hours, the technician decided that the printer was defective and sent me a new refurburished printer. I set it up thinking everything would be good to go. When I went to print everything was the same. I was unable to print from my computer. I got my daughter to check to see if she was able to print from her computer and she was able to. We came to to conclusion that it wasn't the the printer, but something was not right with the computer. I got on chat with technical support. I was told how to do a system restore on the computer and the problem was fixed. I was unable to thank the support person for solving my problem so quickly. His name was Carl M. So if anyone knows of him or has him for support thank him for me.

dont know about other reviewers but this is just based on my experience,, i bought a strix radeon rx 580 on kijiji last month and ended up getting a bad video card, luckily, the seller who decided to disappear after selling me the video card had a receipt. i brought the video card for RMA to ASUS on june 25, and got a status update on june 29 saying that it has been already fixed and shipped via purolator. i got a brand new replacement which is even better. i will definitely start buying more ASUS products from now on :) service is hassle free and i got my video card replaced faster than i expected.

I understand that people are mainly coming to a place like this when they are experiencing a problem with their devices and aren't in the best mood because of that. Despite of numerous other reviews stipulating how terrible Asus warranty service is I personally have few negative things to say about it myself. If you are following all the instructions and properly understand warranty coverage for you Asus device there is a high chance of them fixing a problem for you. I had an issue with warranty repair service myself resulting in unnecessary extra trips to the centre and had the same device replaced twice in a row due to apparent physical damage to the first replacement unit received. But at the end I did get what I wanted. Warranty replacement service was not as smooth as I expected it to be and took way too long but got resolved to my satisfaction in the end.

Had 2 free replacements done with them. Fast and no BS. 1 is my RX480 fans stop spinning, got replaced and upgraded to a refurbished RX580 for free. The other is my UX430, speakers and headphone jack stop working, and even though I've already bought it for more than 1 year, pretty much out of warranty, I still get replacement of the whole motherboard for free. Both of these experiences are pretty fast, maybe 3-4 business days only. Staffs are quite chill and friendly. People should stop giving bad reviews to the people who work there simly because they bought a bad product from bestbuy. These incidence don't relate to each other.

Asus RT-AC68U routers I bought 2 of these with the intentions to use as a AiMesh system. Unfortunately the 2nd Node drops out sporadically. Tried different settings as per Asus technical support. 3 hour+ wait time on phone without getting a representative for a simple hardware issue of which I had to question tech support about before replacing the component since tech support could have a solution as it is an ASUS build. A waiting time like this is unacceptable for a large corporation such as ASUS and is also a reflection of unqualified and/or inefficient staffing. Besides that, the waiting music is invariably awful and needs to be turned down a few decibels. If you don't have much technical knowledge and live in Canada don't buy from ASUS as you cant expect any basic tech support from them via this office within a reasonable time frame. Hours I was on hold for: 3pm-6pm.

I own 2 GS750 17" gaming laptops.. one bought 2011 is still running strong, tough as nails .. one bought 2012 as a backup - is brand new DOA out the box .. never used. Yikes! Do Laptops ripen on the shelf even if they are not used?! Possible MB issue per Best Buy Geek Squad.. I see by the comment my appeals for repairs are going to be a possible nightmare. Yeah I don't have warranty-leg to stand on. Seeing if Asus will be a class act and help me recoup my $2k investment.. treat my repairs fairly. Sending in shortly. Stay-tuned .. Would not recommend purchasing an ASUS product. Products are terrible and the customer service even worse. It's been over 3 months and still trying to resolve a product under warranty. They offered me a refurbished product in an exchange for a product I purchased brand new. After accepting their terms to put this to rest, I am still waiting for the product and still having an ongoing battle with their customer service dept.

Garbage service. Was told 5-7 days for repairs, now going on 11 days- not including the weekends...I'm a student, I need a laptop to preform well. This is SO unacceptable! Never purchasing an ASUS product again and will actively let my family and friends know not to purchase as well!

i bought an asus gaming pc that had a promotion on it,so i go home set up my pc and try to do the steps to get the promotion,it dint work so i contact asus support, wait 2 days and they respond the exact same steps that is already detailed on the receipt of the store on what to do to get the promotion even if in the email i already said i did those steps and didn't work so now they say we dont deal with the promotion you have to contact asus promotion,so i send an email to asus promotion and wait 4 days to get a response,no response so i send another email, wait 2 days and then i get the same response as the fist email i sent with the steps i already now,so i respond to the email and they never respond back,so now i decide to contact the tech support, but you now what??they dont deal with the promo so have to contact the asus promo division or team or i dont know what,in conclusion dont buy asus if you whant to have an after sale support hope the the product you buy dont brake cause if you want to get support your going to be alone

Bought a AsRock motherboard, after 2 months of use it burnt everything in my hardware. They replaced it with a "new one" and after few months of using it, it died again. Now they wont replace it with a new one. Never purchase a product from Asus or AsRock. Save yourslef a headache and allocate that money to a different brand. Terrible customer service. Unprofessional and unhelpful staff. Impossible to reach to them since their phone number and website in Canada is hidden/non-existant. What you pay is what you get. Stick with Intel products for higher quality and lifespan of your products.

Christian Pare

I got a smart phone from ASUS, except the camera I don't like the phone. Lagging and restarting the phone happens often. Also Instagram doesn't work properly. I have other devices and no problems comparable with an ASUS smart phone when using Instagram.Poor quality and clearly I will never deal with ASUS again. I am trying to start a business and this phone is just slowing me down wasting my time. I need it to work not being able to use only 1 application ,Instagram, prove that they don't care

huihui cao

The repair cost is even more expensive than buying a new one. I bought the broken product online, but the seller refused to change it, so I had to ask ASUS for repair. Now it seems that I can buy a junk for $640

Raymond Lee

Don't bother buying ASUS products in 2020 and beyond. I used to recommend this company but with the way they handle their RMA warranty system, it is now not recommended. From my experience with my non-OC'ed motherboard that randomly died after only 2 years of service, you should expect to pay more for your repair than what you paid for the item. SO disappointing. You should not have to beg or fight the company to help you out.

Service is meh - sent my phone in last week. Was repaired for 1-2 hour then send with Purolator (worst courier company in GTA). When received the device, it appeared that proper testing for the repairs was not done. At the same time the support sometimes said that there is no opportunity to drop off/pick up your device from the center. Really disappointed in Asus products and service, which I have been using for 10 years, but not any longer.

Andrew Chettleburgh

To be honest I've just about had it with this company. I purchased a ROG Strix 3 half a year ago. All was going amazing until my charger started over heating until the point where it would stop charging my computer and where the charging tip was burning hot (FIRE HAZARD). The first time I contacted Asus support the customer service rep told me to bring the charger into a best buy for repair. I'm not sure what planet he was living on as that was impossible due to Covid-19. I politely asked if I could get a replacement as everything is on warranty. The answer was no and that I would have to send it to Asus for repair. I gave it a day or two and tried contacting Asus again. The response was even worse this time, I was told once again to send the charger into Asus for repair but that I wouldn't get it back for 3.5 weeks! Essentially leaving me two options, be without a charger (meaning no charging the laptop) or buying a new one in the meantime. I asked the rep if they could send me a credit or a temporary charger but the answer was still no. I guess that the thing that baffles me the most is the complete irresponsibility that these people have. I mentioned to the reps that I burned my hand on the charging tip as well as the obvious FIRE HAZARD that the charger is but still no care on there end. I am not quite sure what I should do from here, I am very frustrated and am quite frankly questioning why I paid for all these warranties if they aren't going to do anything for me. ALL I WANT IS A REPLACEMENT CHARGER!

I think I'm done with ASUS. The quality could sure be better for the money. But service is basically doesn't exist. Service pricing seems to have nothing to do with actual costs, for example cell phone screens of the same model have different pricing based on how much memory the phone has. The screen is the same part number but 100% more if you have more memory. My repair quote was more than a new version of the same machine. I can buy a new screen for 7% of what ASUS quoted me. They seem to be praying on the ill informed. Lost my business.

I had a very positive interaction with them. My computer, more than 4 years old, had a simple hardware problem (as far as I could diagnose), but it was something I could not fix by myself. I've used their products for years and have sworn by them, now I swear at them.Purchased Dual Band AC3100 router which I paid approx $330 for and that still is under warranty. One of the bands stopped broadcasting. 13 phone calls later and they want to now put a $428 hold on my credit card before they send out a replacement and they want me to pay for defective one to be shipped back. We bought an Asus chrome book in May for our child's online classes. He used it for a month when it stopped turning on. Tried all the online options to restart, but it didn't work. There were no visible physical damage to it whatsoever. Finally called the manufacturer as it will still on warranty and it was shipped to Markham. Four days later we got an invoice for $179(original cost $260 from radio shack) since there was damage due to "pressure" on the display. We just opted to not take the chrome book back. Please do not buy this product fooled by the price. It is cheap for a reason. I have 12 year Dell laptop which still works and my son is using that with no issues.

If you do buy an ASUS here in Canada, you should just assume there is no manufacturer warranty and that even if they tell you they have an accidental damage protection plan included, that it doesn't exist. It took a week to get an RMA from them and another week and a day to get a diagnosis. 4 weeks after the original date... I still have nothing from them. I've asked them to either release my laptop and return it unrepaired or fix it and return quickly... but all the customer service says is their tagline "I'm sorry for the inconvenience". Do they not realize that a repair that takes more than 4 weeks is not really a warranty? They mind as well say they don't have one.. because that's 1/12 of the warranty period gone anyway. Save yourself the headache. Buy a different brand... preferably one that will actually be there when you need them.

I just bought an asus laptop on boxing day and now it will not turn on. Fantastic, while I need to finish homework.

Kristal Kristal

Unbelievable. If I could give negative stars, then I would. They sent me an invoice for a tablet that is still under warrantee that asks 150% the cost of the tablet, brand new, to repair everything EXCEPT for the USB port that actually needs replacing. How it happened is this: My tablet, which I bought 3 months ago, was in its protective sleeve on top of my PC tower charging. It slipped and landed on a pile of papers. That's it. A few tines in the port are bent, and they invoiced me for a motherboard, a replacement adapter (which was not even IN the package) as well as labour and a grossly inflated return shipping charge. Take note, this is what you get when you send back a tablet that is still under warrantee that sustained minor damage through normal use. ASUS does NOT have your back, as a customer. Buyer Beware.

Incompetent repair service

I never leave reviews, but i'm happy to report my experience with Asus Markham. Came in person to drop off my laptop on March 13, and it was repaired by April 5. Was hesitant to do this based on the negative experiences people had on here. My laptop had a busted screen, and these guys did an amazing job repairing it. Luckily it was under warranty and only 3 months old. Never had any of the problems mentioned by most people on here. The only reason it took a while to receive back was because they had to order the part from overseas, so the timing was understandable. I also was not charged anything. Hats off to Asus. Laptop was excellently packaged and was sent through FedEx with tracking. Fixed my problem and overall happy with everything!

Daisha Edwards

Purchased an ASUS laptop from bestbuy, screen went black after two months of usage. Called this number today and was put on hold for 45 minutes. Couldn’t take it anymore and hung up.

Chu Jones

Garbage company. Will not buy another product from asus again. Asus has time to time refuse service to product that they sell. They will do anything to 1. not cover the warranty 2. over charge on out of warranty product. 3. refuse service and refuse to admit product defectiveness. This company's questionable practice needs to be taken into review by the canadian business board.

Mike Jin

Worst RMA experience ever! Will not buy ASUS products again!

Todd R

ASUS would not honour warranty as posted and sold by Best Buy. New chromebook with one year warranty stopped working after 8 months. ASUS would not warranty it, they advised it was a 90 day warranty regardless of what Best Buy advised or posted. I will stick with brands with honour, may pay more but Lenovo and Apple stand behind their products.

Called for customer support after receiving a defective monitor. Was on hold for an hour, ringing the entire time, no one ever picked up. Absolutely atrocious customer service. I did not expect this from Asus and have I known sooner would have certainly avoided their brand.

Wait over 10 mins to talk to somone on the phone just hanged up.

Duane Pearce

Worst customer service of all time. This is my second very poor experience with this company, fixing a faulty router. Unbelievably incompetent

Fast, friendly and professional. Amazing Experience with Asus RMA here. I have a broken TUF X570 motherboard that suddenly stopped turning on. Met Alice when I walked in to ask about the RMA process and she promptly set me up with RMA#. the whole process took about 3 business days. I received notification about my board being ready to pickup on the third business day and when I got there it was already a few minutes past 6pm (they are officially closed at 6pm). I caught an employee as she was leaving work and told her my urgent need for the motherboard and she walked me back in and helped me find the board. She could have just told me that they were closed and asked me to comeback the next day but she choose to help me in her own time! Was in a rush so I did not catch her name, whoever you are, thank you!

The absolute most imcompetent, ineffcient, uncommunicative, rude, and embarassing technical support service I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. It was not obvious that these people had ever turned on a computer nor was it clear if they'd ever spoke to an actual person before. Will never purchase ASUS products again and will warn all others.

Hani Saymeh

I called them about my laptop's fan and I explained to the tech how it was struggling, he wanted me to reset my bios settings even though I have never touched it since I purchased my laptop and which definitely changed nothing. However, after he figured out that he can do nothing over the phone he recommended sending the laptop to Asus repair center to get the fan replaced which will take about 15 days!!...

I can't comment on other people's negative reviews but my experience with the support line was fantastic. I called in and was connected to a rep immediately (I was expecting to be placed on hold or be passed around). Within 17 minutes he was able to solve my problem. I would highly recommend their services.

We purchased 2 ASUS M570D laptop computers through Canada Computers in May 2020. Thankfully the 1st laptop started overheating in April 2021 while still under warranty and was repaired by ASUS. It was however gone for service for approximately 2 months. Now the other laptop which was 2 months out of warranty is doing the same thing. Called ASUS and we need to ship the computer to them. They will charge $85.00 for a diagnostic and no idea of how long it will take. Based on the last computer being gone for 2 months, I am assuming the wait will be at least that long. Currently looking for other options. These were not cheap laptops so I am very disappointed with the quality.

Had a great experience at this location. Their Customer Service Specialist Stanley was able to help me out with a problem I was having with my GPU. In the end I was extremely happy with the results. Will definitely continue to support Asus products.

Nihan Usman

Terrible customer service , I was advised by live chat person that I can drop my package off at their facility to fix but upon arriving I was advised by customer care that they’re closed due to covid and drop offs are not allowed.

Jason Winter

This is a horrible company for support. Just spent one hour trying to get issue resolved within my warranty. They wear you down and make it impossible to honour. I bought a $900 laptop from my son and he is crushed...I will never buy an ASUS again

This is the worst company in CANADA. The RMA department treats their customers like a junk. Their customer service is non-existent. never buy ASUS products if you want good product support.

I went in not knowing what to expect, fearful of the reviews. I am writing a good one because the bad ones couldn't be more wrong. I had a unique case and was worried I didn't qualify for warranty. Narek helped me out, he had a clear understanding of the warranty process and to my delight my RTX graphics card was covered! RMA in hand and new card to be delivered right back to my house! This establishment is here to provide for us and is unique to this industry, thanks ASUS!

Dominic P

Dropped off a RTX 2070 for repair with RMA number. The wait wasn't too long and the paperwork was quick. Provided that some troubleshooting steps were already taken and described in the RMA checklist, it only took 3 business days for them to diagnose the problem and ship back a replacement. Fastest RMA I've experienced.

Purchased an ASUS laptop last year from NXIX in Langley, BC and the keyboard and hard drive recently crashed but I had purchased the extended warranty as I use the laptop for work and cannot afford to be down. Well apparently a month later and they have had to order a replacement keyboard from the factory in Asia. Here I sit 3-4 keys out from this even arriving to the repair depot in Richmond with the we will call you when it arrives LOL really????. Absolutely the worst warranty and service I have ever seen. I would not recommend anyone purchase even a mouse from these guys..Brutal.

Carmen Vuong

Terrible customer service! Sent in my asusT300CHI 2in1 laptop for repair as it would not turn on after completing every absolute test. After three assessments by third-party technicians, none of them said the could back up any of the files on device and recommended I send it back to the company. After a month of assessment and repair in which I had to pay $500 plus shipping cost for, the company wiped all of my data and files. Their own techs are not knowledgeable of their devices as they forgot to send back an essential cord which the device requires to work. Numerous phones calls laters with different reps telling I am not entitled for any reimbursement although they wasted my time, money, and erased all my data. Terrible design, DO NOT BUY their products!

Pam Mifsud

Bought my 1st and last Asus 11 months ago. It crashes everytime it updates. When I buy something at Home Depot that doesn't work, they replace it. Asus forces you to have it repaired. Just crashed again. Save the money and headaches and NEVER buy an ASUS

David K

2 months out of warranty and the $1200 laptop won't charge. the fix is $700 they told me, and $100 just to get them to email me and to look at it. Major rip off. Then they send it back. I try a charger I ordered online, and in some positions it does actually work. So they want $700 to replace a $10 piece. I don't have a problem with companies making their money but a $1200 laptop should last longer than 14 months and their repair people should go to law school if they want to charge like lawyers. DON'T BUY ASUS.

Josef Maticka

After taking my desktop to this place. It was send back to me in one weeks time with the same issue it was supposed to have been fixed under warranty.

Peter Burman

Customer support is terrible. They make it virtually impossible to reach a person. I regret that this is the second Asus product I bought. Both were badly designed and it was hard to figure out how to do simple tasks. I will never buy any Asus product again.

Carole Leish

I bought an Asus Zenbook 14 laptop a month ago which has already stopped working; no cursor appearing so I called Geek squad for in home online service because I pay the monthly fee but they said that I have to drop it off at the nearest Best Buy which is over an hour away. I tried contacting Asus but their website says temporarily closed. Could they not offer online support, phone calls or chat? First and last time that I will purchase an Asus product; very disappointed.

DJ Farnworth

Products do not work. When support is available (while you are at work) they are useless. Would never recommend any ASUS product to anyone anywhere any time.

Michael M

I bought an Asus laptop 5 and a half years ago, i've had to take it in to be repaired 3 times, costing me 150-200 each time to fix. I kept thinking this will be the last time. Each time this place takes weeks and returns it to be broken within a year and a half. I never take the laptop off my desk at home, how is it breaking constantly?!?!?! It broke again a month ago, and with the place closed perpetually, it made it super easy to go buy a desktop I can repair myself.

Braden Amyot

I bought a brand new Asus laptop that has been shipped in for warranty 4 times so far for the same issue, which has still not been resolved. Customer service has had next to no consistency and many of their support representatives seem unsure of what can and cannot be done to help the customer. I would absolutely not recommend any Asus products to friends. Which is a shame because I always had good luck in the past but this experience has destroyed the companies integrity for me. EDIT: When calling to have the laptop sent in for the 5th time for this same screen issue the representative informed me the call center is located in the Caribbean. When I asked to speak with someone in Canada his answer was "No."

Sara S

I will never buy an Asus.It was the worst experience I've ever had.Bought a brand new notebook and from day one I had problems with it.took it to their service center 4 times in the course of one year. the battery would die after one hour,it would shut off automatically, the charger jack broke in between repairs and they literally have rebuilt this laptop. technicians have little knowledge.I hate this unit. I have had HP/Acer and did not have so many problems.

Tried to make me pay 900$ to change the motherboard of my computer when that was not the issue. When I went their and told them about it, they told me to buy a new computer because they did not have the piece anymore...

Patrick Côté-Tousignant

they are selling products without serial numbers written on them. when you need to do an rma, they ask for the serial number and deny any repairs if you can't provide one. what kind of service is that? such a scam.

Lela Gary

Bought a Notebook, and asked for Customer Service......when all Hell broke loose. Actually, there is no Customer Service in practice, only on file and on paper..... After I got hold of somebody, he put me on hold for 35 minutes by the clock! and finally he connected me to the Survey recording, and never came back.... Atrocious Service, and I will notify all on Facebook and Consumer Reviews sites that take complaints from the public on such businesses.

The RMA department is dishonest to the customers. They are doing shady things just to be able to charge the customers who have returned defective items that are still on warranty. ASUS IS A COMPANY WITHOUT REPUTATION. Avoid buying ASUS products if you don't want to have a terrible experience .

Mitsy Leste

My recommendation is DO NOT buy from Asus. Totally crappy company. Bought a Zenfone and it stopped working, I got it replaced. The second one had a hardware problem and I needed to contact the company. So I called this location twice, waited 45 minutes at a time and no one ever answered. Poor quality products and even worse customer service. Never buying from them again.

Take your worst customer service experience and multiply it ten fold that's what it is like dealing with Asus. Took my notebook in to be fixed. Paid the service fee, told me the cost to fix and said 7 to 10 days. As soon as they had my money I was notified that they didn't have the part and someone would contact me in 3 days, didn't happen. Tried contacting someone, impossible, wrote CEO, got a response the next day from service center saying that my part is in China and wouldn't be in for another 4 weeks?? They order parts in mass from China monthly????? Didn't mention that initially, Talk about a slow boat. When they quoted me the problem they must of known the part wasn't in stock, unless they are that backwards, if they told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks, I would have got it fixed locally, I asked for a copy of the work order, still haven't heard from them, I got notice it was fixed finally 6 weeks later, I want to pick it up but can not get a hold of anyone, on eternal hold, no notice of where I am in queue? Absolutely worst service ever. Buying an apple, best customer service, my son's was fixed in a week with bigger problems.

Faisal Cheema

I got abnormal lines on screen of my ASUS Zenfone2, took to ASUS Services Center, Markham, ON. they told that they will fix it as this phone is still in warranty. They said it will take 2 to 3 days. Next day they sent me shipment tracking information as It was fixed. phone is working perfectly. great service.

alexcw Lin

Without a doubt Asus Service Center is the best I have ever encountered, and that comes from a guy who has been using computer since 1990. 1. There is no upfront charge for checking your computer (other service depot charges $50 to $80 just to check). 2. Service is fast. 3. Staff are courteous and efficient. Also they are easy to talk to. That is why I have been buying exclusively Asus laptops recently, which include 3 for me, 2 for my son, and 1 transformer prime.

what a joke this company is , never ever buying asus again...Garbage customer service , stay away from this brand .

Don’t buy asus monitors! Of if you do and they breakdown less than six months, don’t send it here. They returned my monitor with damaged base. It’s the second time I’m sending my monitor there. Also when you want to submit a ticket, you will waste half of your day chatting with their staffs, which by the way, they will reconnect you here and there to find the right person to chat with. Very frustrating!
