The multiple experiences I've had at a2z computers have been the best they could have been. No one likes encountering computers issues, but at a2z they treat you with courtesy and respect. The service I received was speedy and my computer was fixed better than expected. Most recently, I was experiencing hard drive issues, and I was certain the computer was toast. Ahmed advised me on what he thought was the best course of actions to fix my computer completely. He was knowledgeable, offered great customer service and the entire computer repair was completed the following day. I just had the most fantastic experience with this computer repair shop and can't recommend the place enough! The proprietor is courteous, very knowledgeable and honest. He fixed a serious problem on my laptop and did it perfectly, quickly and at a very reasonable cost. He could have easily charged me for unnecessary parts and I would never have known. Went to update my 5 year old PC from Win7 to Win10 - was running into issues with the reinstall, and gave Ahmed a call. He provided some good advice by phone, but I still had no luck. Brought him the PC the next morning; he had Windows 10 up and running in under 3 hours, solving for an issue I never would have been able to isolate myself. Ahmed is knowledgeable and does everything he can to make his customers happy. I hope I don't need his services again, but if I do he's the first one I'll call.

Had my Toshiba's 16 inch screen damaged. It appears to be a very rare screen format at the moment. So finding a replacement screen was not an easy task. Ahmad really did an extra mile to find one and was very fair charging the standard price for it.

I had a fairly new HP touchscreen laptop that needed a repair. I'd taken it to another repair place and they couldn't help so i was ready to replace it. Based on a recommendation I took it in to A2ZPC. He was very upfront that it might not be possible to fix but he would try his best. I got a call 2 hours later saying that my laptop was completely fixed! I didn't think it would work and I definitely did not expect to get it back that day. They also had current computer components in stock at a great price, which is so rare for a smaller shop, so I ended up getting a SSD for another computer at the same time. After I dropped and damaged my external hard drive with ALL my photos on it, most places I called told me that it was not even worth trying, and that the expense would be too high. Luckily, I found Ahmed, who was willing to try. While this extent of data recovery doesn't come cheap no matter where you go, Ahmed's price was on a more reasonable scale than others I spoke to. I felt I could trust him with my device, and left it in his hands for a few days while he worked away at it, and tried to source a "donor drive" to recover what he could. In the end, he did manage to recover a portion of what was on the drive. I did lose thousands of photos, but Ahmed had explained to me that there were parts of the drive that couldn't be recovered no matter where I went. And it felt clear to me that he was being honest and trying. I would use him again with future computer issues.

Computer shops are like auto mechanics - unless you know one personally, you'll never know the truth behind the work (much less understand it) Not the case here. Had a brilliant experience! The owner running the shop went step by step in deducing the causes until we arrived at the problem. What's more, all the way along he explained what he was doing so that, I too, was informed. In the end, I walked away with a computer back up and running and for much less than we both first thought would be the case when I originally brought it in. If you're considering this place...just have a read of the other reviewers. All the best :)

A2Z PC Service is hands down the best laptop repair store in town. My HP laptop broke down on me and I went to two different stores however they failed miserably in fixing the problem. Ahmed on the other hand- being the professional and competent computer engineer he is- was able to diagnose and fix the problem in less than 24 hours. I absolutely recommend this store.

Pros Friendly. Fixed the computer. Cons Extremely expensive. $110 to install a new graphics card. I should of done it myself as it only takes a few minutes but I thought it wouldn't cost anything except the mark up on the card. Came in to pick it up and $60 diagnostics fee (we already knew the video card was broken) and $50 installation fee (takes longer to open the box than it does to install a video card).

Good place to go to, if your PC is run of the mill. While the clerk treated me nicely and the customer service is undoubtedly spot-on, I was basically told to go elsewhere because he didn't have the part I needed for my Dell XPS. If you have a high-end laptop, look elsewhere because I'm pretty sure this place won't have what you need.

2 out of 5 stars because I was able to get my computer repaired at another location for just over twice the price I paid here. Basically, I brought my laptop in because it was old, super slow and completely shot. No working ports. Several blue screens (which didn't impress the proprietor - the look he gave me!). The positives - everything was explained before hand. After diagnostics, he didn't recommend repair and called to ask if I wanted to proceed with the data backup, which I approved. The negative is that I did persevere, took it to another repair shop that was able to get the computer fixed (which included opening it up and soldering parts). Final talking points: this place is probably good for quick fixes. But, if you have major issues like mine, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I brought in a Dell laptop with a malfunctioning screen. It had already been diagnosed elsewhere, but Ahmed was very careful in checking all possibilities. He was polite and prompt. He was clear and up-front about the cost, which was lower than the quote we received elsewhere. His timeframe was also much shorter than the one we received elsewhere. Bonus: The screen was an unusual model, and Ahmed offered a generous arrangement in the event that a new screen didn't solve the problem. In the end, the new screen worked, on time and at the quote provided from the start. Great service, thank you.

Honest, reliable, and sensitive. Can't ask for anything more. We took our PC to Ahmed on short notice, as we had last minute work on the computer to complete. We couldn't access our files and we were quite stressed. Despite being over-whelmed with other computers, Ahmed accepted our work and assured us he would diagnose and attempt to fix the same day. A few hours later, our computer was complete. A few loose screws were to blame. Despite pressuring him to work on our PC right away, he didn't charge us. I really believe someone else would've made up things, and charged us a premium for requesting speedy service. We were humbled by his kindness. I strongly recommend him! He also sells a good variety of PC accessories. If you are having problems with your computer, take it to him without hesitation.

Best decision I have made this year was to solicit Ahmad's help. I am a software engineer by trade and I work primarily with applications that have some pretty extreme processing demands. I barely have time to keep up with software let alone hardware changes. Ahmad came to my rescue. I gave him the rough specs I wanted for a new machine. Memory requirements, disk, CPU etc and he worked some serious magic. Added to this, I am a Linux user which can make it all the more difficult. He provided me with excellent advice as far as brands, value for price, reliability and more. Best of all he sourced all the pieces and built my machine for me. When he had a problem with the motherboard, it was HE that found the solution, not the manufacturer's support team. Ahmad is extremely knowledgeable and a skilled technologist. Had perplexing Internet access problem on my aging but beloved laptop, wherein it appeared that I was on my WiFi and had Internet access, but still could not reach any sites -- software conflict, hardware problem? Took it in to A2Z PC, friendly reception, preliminary look, and left it -- before I got home (less than an hour) had a call back with diagnosis (hardware), a price and an offer to come back in an hour if I wanted to pick it up. Great service, great price and some free tips to boot. Excellent place and will return for any other service when needed. Highly recommended.

AMAZING SERVICE! Got a nasty computer virus on my computer that completely took over my system. I brought my computer into Ahmed late in the afternoon/ early evening right before he was going to close. Ahmed stayed late and fixed my laptop that evening. He was patient, explained the problem to me, educated me on how to avoid the virus in the future, and was very transparent on what he was doing. - He stayed after hours when he did not have to and got my computer fixed within 2-3 hours. - Was friendly, patient, and took extra time to really explain everything to me (did not feel rushed at all). - He ended up having to do much more work than he thought (2-3 hours as opposed to what he thought would be 1 hour), but did not charge me for the extra service; he kept the agreed upon price even though I ended up needing a service that shows right on his wall costs much more than what I was paying. - welcoming, great customer service, honest guy!

I purchased a replacement motherboard for my laptop on Aliexpress. When I couldnt get it to start, Because of the positive reviews, I contacted the owner and after a brief chat, had the confidence to bring my laptop to him. I was expecting bad news. To my surprise, he got it up and running. While the unit I was sold by Aliexpress remains defective, at least I can use my laptop while the I wait for the new board. Will use A2ZPC again. A2ZPC of Dundas St. Toronto installed spyware, remote control and a hidden partition on my laptop’s hard drive when I contracted repair service with them. I paid the owner $113…to install (not set-up) Windows 10 Home 1903 on my laptop instead, he did the opposite. He installed and set-up a version of Windows which included: Internet Explorer and Chrome browsers, Microsoft office…excel…word…power point and spyware, Updates for Windows 10 were disabled and updates for Windows Vista 2008 server was enabled. (My laptop license key is for Windows 10 Home not Windows Vista). My laptop had 2-desktops – one of which had all program files and shortcuts. There was a hidden partition and I was not even the administrator of my own laptop. The Windows version on my laptop was vulnerable with reduced security designed for remote control access and operations. I trusted A2ZPC from online reviews. The owner was very nice and told me about his bitcoin collection he could have had…if he didn’t have a wife and his plans to move to Turkey. I never expected this behaviour from a Canadian business owner. My laptop is unusable as is. The owner refused to refund the $113 I paid him for services not rendered so that I can get my laptop cleaned up and operating as it should.

I took my laptop as the screen was not turning on. The owner of the place gave all my options for repair. He communicated well in terms of phone calls to update me on what diagnostics he had done and options for repair were available. In the end he was able to fix my issue more simply and for less money than I expected and I am very thankful for his abilities.
