I am not one to usually do ratings but in this case I felt it necessary. What goes around comes around. I have a Blu Life X2 Android phone which I have come to love after being an iPhone generation loyal user. I cracked the screen on my Blu Life X 2 and because no one knows the brand almost every phone repair shop refused to help me due to lack of parts. So......I ordered the screen with the digitizer online and called them back; almost half a dozen phone repair companies that had previously refused to help me. Now instead of not having the parts they said they will not touch this Brand of phone. I assume so because it is not the cookie cutter money making iphone or galaxy they are used to After almost a week of getting ready to give up. I was visiting my grandma in Mississauga , Clarkson area and I phoned the gentleman at Oakville Tech and he was professional and polite. Instead of refusing he asked me to come in and said he would take a look at it. I'm not sure if he was the owner but he seemed to be from the way he carried himself. A middle aged Indian man. I came in that day and he understandably warned me that he is not liable for the installation of a third party display which in retrospect actually makes sense. He called me on my house phone about 4 hours after dropping it off and was clearly excited and delighted to tell me that the phone and the display were working very well and I could see he was proud of his work. I respect that. I know he spent a lot of time screwing with my display because I have googled it in the past and it is not easy. My phone is like new. In fact it is even better now as it has a custome white ledge which no other Blu X2 has. My only grievance was the price of 75$ plus tax. However if I get another 1-2 years of life from the device it will be well worth it for me. It is week three with no issues. If it breaks in the next six months I will re update.

Honest, fast and reasonable prices for PC repair. I would typically go to a big box store like Tiger Direct or Best Buy to have my PC repaired. Instead, I tried a small local shop, and was very pleased with the outcome. They are quite knowledgeable (diagnosed and repaired faults in Motherboard and replaced Power Supply), reasonably priced labour (intial diagnosis was only $20), and quick turnaround (had my PC back in 2 days). Highly recommend!

The owner was honest and gave me a diagnostic on my dead phone without charging me for it. It turned out to be a motherboard issue, and the cost of repair would've been far more than the phone was worth. I had gone to another place first (Techville, on Kerr Street), where they tried to pressure me into leaving the phone with them for repair, without doing the diagnostic first, giving me a low estimate based on a rough guess, and I'm sure I would've been stuck with a huge repair bill after they discovered the actual issue. Go with Oakville Tech.

We have taken two iPhones with cracked screens. The first one was an iPhone 6 that had the slightly bent irregularity that was Apple’s fault and they wanted $600 to repair. It was fixed without problem. Second was another iPhone 6 that blacked out after it was dropped and screen broken. It taught my daughter a lesson about backing up her phone and fortunately the phone was saved. Thank you for your help.

Great service. They were closed for a month, but they notified all of their customers more than a month in advance. They called their customers, including me to let me know. It was inconvenient, but being a small business, I can understand it. Please keep up the good work.

I have used numerous time the services of Oakville Tech at 610 Ford Drive. I took my cellphone (Nexus 5) in the shop, which I dropped in the lake, it was totally dead, I had not much hope it would ever work, and they fixed it perfectly for very little cost. My Asus laptop crashed, I thought I lost all my data, again I took it back to them, they fixed it and it works perfectly and all my data were recovered. The service was fast, only overnight and the charges were reasonable. No promises, only great results. I can highly recommend them. You will not get this kind of a service from a large company where you need to wait for weeks for repairs and pay a fortune.

A simple iPhone 6 cracked screen has turned into a nightmare. Intermittent black screen is a mystery to Oakville Tech although it's all over the internet. They have taken our money but have little interest in fixing the problem they have caused.

Extremely fast and amazing service, couldn't ask for more. I needed my Samsung galaxy s6's display screen replaced as well as the shattered back plate. Within a day the job was done. Feels like my phone is brand new again!

Excellent Service. I went to this place to take photos for Canadian passport. The man in the shop was very nice and friendly. Took quite a few photos, doing it again and again until we were both satisfied. The price is better than anywhere else. I took my families there for a second time. Great experience at this location.

My daughter's iPhone 5 stopped working. Rogers who sold it (warranty was over) to her said it was a software problem and to see Apple. Apple said it's not worth fixing just throw it out. Oakville tech did the diagnostics to see if it was a software problem and fixed it for $50! Quick, honest and professional service. Will use again in a heartbeat.

Excellent customer service and quality of work. I've brought 3 iphones with cracked screens for repair and received them all back in brand new condition in a reasonable timeframe. I have also had a passport photo taken here which turned out great and accepted by the passport office with no issues. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The owner helped me with water damage in my phone and he made the process seamless when all other avenues were questionable in lieu of the current circumstances. His service was speedy and accommodating. It's a quaint location, so keep your eye out because it's worth it!

Went to get my iPhone 6 battery replaced. Met with Ijaz who I had called earlier in the day - he said it would take about 40 minutes. Came back and it was done and charging within 25. Reasonably priced by my standards, and the man was incredibly friendly. I'll absolutely return for future phone needs. P.S. if you're having trouble finding the place like I did... It's squeezed in between the pub and the hasty market. Thanks again Ijaz.

WORST PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN! Several years back I had my ipad headphone jack replaced. Not only did he leave several deep scratches on the screen, but he also left fingerprints on the inside!! I recently decided to give it another shot at Oakville Tech and bought an aux cable from there. The owner claimed they were all good quality so I paid $15 for one, and the same day its already breaking... Of course he deny's everything I have complained about..Deplorable service.
