My PS4 was constantly freezing and even turning off after getting an error. Found out that it was the faulty chip on the motherboard and also a damaged/corrupted HDD. Viktor was pretty much the only person that replied the fastest compare to other people. Not to mention 2-3 of them said it would take more then a day. Went to iRepairToronto and he had the PlayStation fixed in no time. So far the PlayStation runs better then it ever has. Almost like brand new. The reviews on this place don’t lie. Guy is a con, he quoted me $300, then held laptop hostage he said “lots of damage.” He then upped the price to $700 and harassed me until I paid. He“fixed” water damaged Mac air. Two days later, Stopped working. Laughed it off when asked. Don’t go to this guy, spend the same money and take your electronics elsewhere. Yes some people complain about some of his repairs being on the pricey side, but it's worth every penny for the quality workmanship and warranty. I totally recommend this business. Went there with a laptop filled with 5 years of service in a dog walking/dog fostering business. The large amount of dog hair in the laptop has brought the fan speed to an almost ineffective state, causing sever heat damage. I wasn’t sure if it was salvageable. I dealt with the proprietary himself. Lighting fast response. Upfront and honest. Kept me informed of every step. Went above and beyond to have it working. Saved And transferred all my files and old photos I didn’t know I had on there. The odometer was brought back to zero on my laptop at less than half the cost of a new one.

I was ripped off by a Kijiji seller who sold me a burnt out PS4 and Victor brought it back to life in less than an hour! He was honest up front about the possible repairs needed and comprehensively explained the process for my benefit. All in all, I was blown away by his professionalism and expertise. BUT what really stuck with me was Victor's humanity. I came to him in the last minutes of his regular hours at a time of personal stress and, sensing my desperation, he decided to work an extra 45 minutes to fix the system. This caused him to be late to a long weekend barbecue. I wouldn't have blamed him for telling me to wait a day, but his gesture made my day. I wish I could give 6 stars.

A Gamer‘s worst nightmare is seeing their console crash, I was shocked when my PlayStation’s light turned red and shut itself down. Just when I thought my PlayStation 4 was finished for good I found a repair service that was close by and could repair within an hour. My MacBook Pro screen had many problems and glitches. A week after I received the device, I texted him about issues I had with the screen and the service. He disregarded my concerns and I had to solve the issue myself. Recent I had more severe issues with my screen and ask if I could have assistance with repair since it’s been less than six months. He has refused. I have paid twice as much here than I have in places in the past, with better quality service, and was expecting a better service for such a price tag.

6 year old PS4 on the verge of dying. Corrupted HDD, gummed up cooling fan. A mess. NOTE TO VAPING GAMERS! I vaped for 3 years to quit smoking. Get you gaming consoles cleaned out and serviced regularly. About a dozen unfinished games I meant to get back to, and a most expensive recovery. It might've been cheaper to go with a new PS4, but fixing the problem keeps the carbon footprint down, and saved all HDD data, trophies, etc and it is running tip top, better than I've seen in years, and is consistent. Needed an HMDI port replaced in a PS4. They immediately understood the problem and even warned me that if the port needles touched each other it was possible that when the port will be replaced there might also be a problem with the card. In under an hour they had replaced the port and the card and everything was working like new.

Stay away from this place. I wish I had never ever brought my laptop to this place. The guy supposedly fixed my laptop but when I brought it back home I ran into the same issues. Brought it back and this time he said it was working fine. Same thing happened. Third time he said that the problem could be the CPU and would need to buy a new one. Come on, if he was an expert he would have identified the error right away and not charged me for a service that left my laptop on the same situation.

Very impressed with the fast, and thorough service provided by Viktor. My son was thrilled to have his xbox back within hours on a Saturday. Our issue ended up being more complex than originally thought. I really appreciated the Viktor did multiple tests on the cheaper fix that we originally thought it needed, but when that didn't work, he called to go through the full diagnosis and confirm the next fix needed. He provided a screenshot of the diagnostic results too. Upon picking up the xbox, he gave my husband a quick tutorial on proper cleaning to keep it running great for years. It's been working perfectly ever since! Couldn't be happier with his service and will definitely go back should I need anything else fixed.

Well before you go to those other places do 2 things analyze the quote. “It’s cheaper to hire a professional than to hire an amateur”. Very prompt service, and attention to detail, when the first chip failed he further analyzed found it was voltage regulator chip, was able to repair that. I’ve talked to other repair shops saying “50/50 chances we can fix it and no guarantee, along with a 2-3 week turn around” in all honesty the money saved us not worth the savings. As you’ll end up coming here anyways. Definitely recommend, and would repeat business for anything related to the services.

I had my ps4 cleaned out and some of the internals swapped out to deal with an overheating issue. The fan was ridiculously loud before I took it here. I I highly recommend irepairtoronto the USB ports on my PS4 we're completely not working anymore I took it to a guy who lived across the street from me and he could not fix it at all and instead did more damage to my system the Bluetooth chip was completely not working and my controllers were not connecting to my PS4 anymore I took it to irepair Toronto and he was able to fix the usb ports and the bluetooth chip within a 24 hour window for now on I will be going to him for any of my video game repairs thank you guys so much ????????????????????????????????????????

I took it somewhere else and they fixed it at a much lower cost. I've had the chace to compare the service quality and I can say there are better places that provide much better service and proced with much more professionalism through all the repair process. Only after comparing services I have decided to write a review for the bad service I got from iRapair.

I have been having issues with my XPS 15 for several years. It would overheat incredibly quickly, and I wasn't able to use more than a few applications without it crashing. It got worse and worse so I decided to bring it to Viktor. Viktor was able to fix my computer in just a few hours (I'm very happy about the fast turnaround time, as I need my computer for work). He replaced all the components damaged by the overheating, and put in new higher quality thermal paste. Viktor also followed up with me post-repair to confirm that my computer was working well. My XPS 15 now runs faster than the day I bought it! Before I couldn't open Power Point and Excel at the same time, and now I can play several 4k videos at the same time without the fan turning on. I just wish I had brought my computer to Viktor sooner!

This is my 2nd review for Victor and would give a 5+ rating if I could, because I had my mac explode (literally) a few weeks ago, which damaged the motherboard, trackpad, and hard drive. The backplate was completely bent. Victor miraculously repaired this mac for me in 1 night and had it ready for me the next day, and you wouldn’t even notice that my mac needed a repair. It is still working perfectly as it was before. Victor is a genius with repairs and cares about his work. I will honestly admit, that this is a long over-due, and year late of a review, because I'm simply horrible at remembering to do so. But, how can I not when I use my PS4 as periodically as the average gamer would use theirs. Whether it's for streaming, or simply gaming; all thanks to Victor. When I first approached him for my inquiry, not only was he and his team responsive, but absolutely understanding of the situation I was in need of service for. At the time, I had no clue my Fan was completely destroyed, and assumed my PS4 was simply dirty. The efficiency, and transparency in being able to fix my PS4, and completely revitalize my PS4 with a whole new installation of a Fan, that would have cost double the price anywhere else. It wasn't the "cost" of the service that made it 5 stars of an experience, it's the diligence, and unwillingness to never not have a solution. That to me is the ultimate customer experience. He gave no run arounds, and I was shocked at him simply stating that at most 2 hours or so that you will be waiting for a repair. Whereas other places are quoting you 2-3 weeks? Insane! Victor is worth EVERY penny, and does the work with a care and passion. Didn't disappoint, and my PS4 has been running BEAUTIFULLY since he fixed it, and that was about a year ago!

For some reason, my MacBook Pros always seem to break down over the weekend. That means a 3-business day assessment at Apple repair shops, plus additional business days for repair. As a professional photographer, not having my laptops for over a week is nerve-wracking. Thankfully, I found Victor who always manages to repair my issues within 48 hours. I had a Nintendo Switch with a (very) broken charging connector. After calling some of the larger repair chains who told me it would take 5-7 days to repair (because they don't do complicated repairs like that in their stores), I came across iRepairToronto who said they would start fixing it the same day, for about the same price as the larger guys. Once they started looking in to my issue, they realized that there was additional damage to internal components caused by the damaged charging port, and they fixed those as well. While the cost was more than I initially expected, they fixed all my issues the same day even though the issue was more complicated than inititally described - which definitely has significant value to me!

The problem was 'the fan was extremely loud and you could hardly hear anything else but the fan. So both chips were rebooted, full clean, change thermo pads and thermo paste. Victor has repaired my MacBook on several occasions over the years, which include a motherboard and graphics card replacement and cleans the interior of my MacBook, without even requesting this! I was having severe overheating and noise issues with my Ps4 Pro so I began looking for a solution and thankfully I found iRepairTorontos' Kijiji ad. I contacted them and they were very quick in responding. I dropped my console off a few days later in the morning and after they thoroughly cleaned it, they diagnosed why it was making so much noise and what would likely happen if the necessary repairs weren't done. A brief call after they'd cleaned it, they let me know the main issues, asked if I wanted the full repair which I confirmed and when they finished the repair they sent me a video with it running and I picked it up a few hours later. Although it is a little expensive, I've previously taken my Ps3 to them and I've never had another issue with it so I thought it would definitely be worth it. They are both professional and very thorough so I truly appreciate all their hard work! After I took my like new PS4 home, I noticed that some of the rubber pads were missing and they offered to replace them and give me some spares. Greatly appreciated!

Dropped off my PS4 for repair. First repair procedure didn't work, neither did the second one etc etc. With each next step I had to buy new parts or pay more and more for each iterative step. Ultimately my repair cost 1.5times the price of a new console, the hard-drive was downgraded from 1tb to 500gb, the fan now is x10 louder than before, and my cell number was scratched into the plastic case of my PS4 with a pen (I guess using sticky notes to not damage the electronics themselves is too much to ask for?) - you decide if this is all worth it.

Honestly had the best experience getting my PS5 fixed here. He was down to earth and honest about all the issues going on with my device and took time to explain to me what was the issue and causes for it. Rather than giving me one blunt response, he would make the effort to find various solutions to technical problems and find the best possible solution. I've started off extremely upset that my brand new PS5 gave out on me and any option I tried finding was a dead end, but by the end of the day I went home playing on my PS5 with absolutely zero issues. I brought my father-in-law's PS4 to get fixed. We originally thought that the HDMI port was broken. Victor assured me it would only take a half an hour to repair, but when the problem persisted; even after the HDMI port was replaced, he did some additional testing and came to the conclusion that the chip was also dead. He had it fixed within the day and I was able to pick it the next day. He is very knowledgeable and offers a 3 month warranty for any repair he does, with a few exceptions. I will go to him with any questions I have regarding my gaming equipment. I want to personally thank him for pulling through during the busiest holiday season of the year. You made my father-in-law's day.
