Everything you read about this place is true. I went to Electron and met an amazing guy name Esi. I had a problem with my Alienware R4 17 laptop as it was overheating really bad. Esi was such a professional and helpful guy. He did the thermal repaste and replacement of heating pads. My temps went from 97+ to avg 50 on full load. He constantly explained what he was doing and just came across as an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guy. He told me the process would take possibly 2 days, but he managed to call me and let me know the same day that he was done. I cant recommend him enough. He is the guy you want to go to for peace of mind and extremely fair pricing.

I just bring my laptop after milk spilled on the keyboard and Esi fixed it in only 2 to 3 hours. I was very lucky because nothing damage (keyboard works, mainboard works fine). Then it was very fast and he gave the reasonable price. Actually, he helped me to check all the components and did a cleaning before giving the decision to fix or change the mainboard. Also, he gave 10% off to the student. After all, he fixed my keyboard too without any cost or fee. I really recommend people to come to his store if they don't want to waste their time and money.

I bought a new computer online that was making alot of noise because of a broken fan from the computer case. I knew what the issue was but I wanted a professional's opinion; did I need to buy a new fan or did it just need simple repairs? So I went to another repair store which had good ratings. However, they charged absurd amounts of money just to take a look at your computer, even if you knew the problem. So I went to Electron computer and met Esi who inspected my computer free of charge right then and there. He fixed the broken fan problem by turning it off, and letting me know that the computer had enough fans to not need the broken one. Just like that, he fixed my problem and didn't charge me because it wasn't an issue worth charging someone over. I would have happily paid him for fixing it so fast but he insisted it wasn't necessary. I now trust him with all my future computer related needs.

This is the best guy in town!!! My computer broke from liquid damage, Apple installed a new OS and told me I could keep using it. That made it much worse and it eventually broke again- Apple quoted me over 2000 to fix it and suggested I just buy a new laptop. I brought it to him and he fixed it for a fourth of that price- it's been a few months and it still is in mint condition! He also did everything he could to get it to the best possible price. 10/10, very sweet and intelligent man!!

Absolutely the best place to fix your macbook. I've gone there on two separate occasions after being told by apple that my repairs would cost upwards of a 1000$ and both times the owner repaired the problem within a day and for a fraction of the cost. Would recommend coming here for repair needs. After my HP Envy broke down, I contacted a few stores near me that do repairs. No response. I looked for some higher rated shops in the city, and Electron was definitely the place to go. Answered same day. The owner is very professional and offered some extra basic tune-ups, no charge. Very helpful since this was a hand-me-down, and was Frankenstein'd from incorrect parts before I got my hand on it.

I am using a Toshiba computer Sattelite, which is atleast 7 years old. Around 3 years back, it fell down and the corner, near the power switch on right side was broken. It keeps working like this for some time but then it stopped working. I went to Electron Computers. He repaired within time and estimated cost. Wonderful work done. The computer became like new. My first Google review! I never leave any comments but this time I had to! I recently moved from Calgary, AB. I shipped my PC via Canada post. When my pc arrived it wouldn't turn on. I'm not computer savvy so I wasn't able to identify what's the issue was. Since I'm new here in Toronto, I went to Google PC repairs near me! After 1 day of reading reviews I decided to try Electron Computer Laptop & Mac Repair Centre. Ohh man I was able to book an appointment within the same day. Dropped it off at 6 pm and was told Ill get a quote within 24h. I was 100% sure repair will cost me around $300-400 since I had a Gaming/Editing pc. Got a phone call at 1pm and I was told I had to only pay $80 for the whole repair! Amazing and fast service! Thank you!!!!

Electron Computer Inc. is exactly the place where you want shop and/or use any of the services. I initially went there for a simple hard drive, but I quickly was impressed by the level of professionalism and really was also impressed that the owner cared so much as to search online for the best possible options as far saving and comparisons goes. I had never seen any other company in any industry go that far. So I quickly ended up not only getting all my external and internal Hard Drives from Electron, they also did a custom SSD Drive for my Mac Pro and I'm extremely happy with the service and over the phone tech support. My wife dropped her Dell laptop and the keyboard stopped working. She was fearing the worst, but we took it in to the local computer repair shop for a diagnosis. In 10 minutes, the owner had sized up the problem (a loose connector) and he had it fixed in a snap. And he wouldn't even charge us a dime! Esi is exceptional! I brought him my broken laptop and in ten minutes while I was there he diagnosed what was wrong with it, and priced out the repair for me. He gave me honest advice that the repair would cost more than the laptop was worth, and offered me a good price on a newer refurbished model with a one year warranty. I ended up finding a very good deal on a brand new laptop and bought that instead. He was happy for me to have a working laptop again - even though I paid for no services from him at all and cost him his time. I highly recommend going to Esi!

By far the best place to take your computer to if there are any issues. When I say any issues, I literally mean any issues. The owner is the most professional person I have encountered and he knows everything there is to know about computers. Within 10 seconds of me giving him my tower, he figured out the issue already. Knows what he is doing. Mac Pro 2010 stopped working. Took it to this place. Got a call an hour later - video card is dead. He clearly explained dangers of replacing with other cards (turns out cards that are officially supported in macOS can still cause troubles). Not many people share this type of info. Saved me a lot of time and disappointment. Equipment was returned vacuumed and clean which is a nice touch.

I'm an experienced IT guy but ran into some difficulties on opening a newer model laptop, the owner explained how it was done step by step and did a professional job without compromising the cosmetic of the laptop. Employee named Esi was very assisting and accommodating. My first impression when I walked into the store was that he seemed pretty occupied; already piled in 6 desktops at 11 O'clock including mine. He gave a form to sign and charged me around $30 for diagnostic on the spot. He said he would give a call back for me to pick up the desktop. When I dropped by the next day, he had me come over to the other side of a reception desk and walked through what he did. Long story short, he was honest and humble - clear to the point. I had a thought that he was unlike other repair technicians I've met, whom were busy emphasizing service they provided was at 'exceptional price'. I remember one technician charging me $40 for adjusting my power button being offset and $150 for a software clean-up, repeating what he was doing was a 'very delicate work' whenever I questioned about pricing. But Esi, not only he ran the diagnostics and cleanup for no extra-charge, he didn't brag about it. He answered all my questions as well. He also walked with me in the cold since I was struggling to find visitor parking door. Seemingly, he has "What I've done.." morality, not "I did this and that for you" mindset. Thanks Esi.

I don't normally write reviews but felt that I absolute had to for this one. My laptop situation was rather a unique one where the screen was completed destroyed and I needed an entire assembly replacement. The Geek Squad in addition to many other computer stores that I've been around to in Toronto estimated a ridiculous $500+ price. The owner of this store was able to give me his honest opinion and assisted me in finding a replacement online. I was able to get the replacement monitor from a recycling store for about $140 (CAN)! I go to school so having a laptop was an absolute requirement for me in addition to paying as minimal as possible due to payment of tuition fees and books. The owner understood this and was able to replace the screen for a discounted price. He was also able to complete the work as quickly as possible which was a huge plus!

I brought in my MSI GS65 8RF laptop over to Esi' business because of the Google reviews. You never know if these reviews are real or not, but... well... when your laptop's charging port is dead, sometimes you need a leap of faith. The reviews were accurate, at least in my experience, so thank you guys for that. Esi was very professional and didn't hesitate to teach me about things I didn't know about the process to repair my laptop. Esi also went out of his way to fit me into his tight scheduling to make this repair happen, I'm really grateful for that because I'm a Masters student that's got a dead laptop and I still need to finish my paper. Thank you very much for coming through for me, Esi. The repair was so quick, I still got a shot at finishing my paper before the deadline now, whew. Esi also went out of his way to ask if I was a student, and applied the 10% discount for students. I don't think there's many people who would willingly cut down on their own profits just to give back to the community like this. I'm happy that at least now I have a place I can go with confidence when I have tech troubles I can't handle on my own. Additional note. There's no parking space that I'm aware of, but there is a paid parking space just on the other side of the street. Also a Shoppers' Drug Mart paid parking too, but that place is usually full.

I called on Etsy to help me out on a problem but I was having with my laptop computer. He was very helpful and I was willing to go out of his way to help me out and also to help me out in regards to choosing a new computer. At this point we haven't been able to do some of these things because of an illness I'm experiencing but I must admit this gentleman is is willing to assist as much as you can to help you out. When I have I completed my experience with him I will get back to you and give you an update but at this point the guy is definitely five stars. I think I'm going to have to pre qualify that statement. In terms of repairs he is excellent at what he does but in my case I asked him to look out for another computer refurbished. And this aspect he let me down and when I contacted him he ignored me. Obviously he likes to start things but it doesn't follow through. There's an old expression when the going gets tough the top get going. He definitely does not fall in this category.

About 2 days ago, my brother accidentally dropped my laptop from a considerable height and because I wasn't there at the moment when it was dropped, I imagined a drop from that height being very damaging to the laptop. So a day later it was working but it crashes after any movement I do with the laptop (e.g. walking with it from one place to another). So, I was very worried of course and I spoke to Esi on the phone and he told me that there diagnostics would be cost me a X amount of money. So I was ok with it and I went there to give him the laptops to do the diagnostics. And afterwards, he told me that it was simply that SSD was displaced a bit after the drop and all he did was simply place it back in it's original position. He also told me that I do not need to pay the X amount of money for the diagnostics because it was a very simple fix. So Esi is not only amazing at what he does, he is also very honest and provides a wonderful customer support experience. I would recommend him to anyone that has issues with his/her laptop any day. Hard to find such honest people these days

The person in the store is really responsible and give honest advice, this is probably the best service I’ve got I got a laptop online, and it is somehow has really noisy fan and it’s pretty slow for a new laptop, so I went in trying to get all fixed for a new laptop, I was expecting installing ssd or new fan to make the laptop better( budge around 300), I end up with buying another nicer faster and silent fan laptop with same price with advice from person in the store, and he never charge for it, I would highly recommend go to this store if you have problem with your computer!!!

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a shop that builds custom gaming PCs. Extraordinarily thankful that I did. The owner was very knowledgeable and suggested many different upgrades for the parts I had chosen. Many of the upgrades were nearly identical in price to the parts I had originally desired. On top of this, he made sure that the prices for each part were very transparent. I was even informed when certain parts were found on sale, when he could have easily sold me the parts at the standard price and pocketed the extra cash. Very honest guy. End result was a great experience and an incredible gaming PC (its amazing, really) To anyone thinking about a custom PC, give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed.

I don't normally write reviews but the customer service from the owner was amazing. My friend had issues with her Macbook so we brought it in to Electron based on previous reviews. Although the owner was a few mins late, he apologized for his tardiness. We provided him with the issues the laptop was having, he opens it up and right away knew what the problem was. The laptop was quite dusty, so he cleans it, shows us the issue which was a quick fix. Tested it and all is well. He didn't charge us anything for the work. It was not too time consuming but he cleaned it, fixed it, tested it, and got it to work again. Other places would've charged us something. We ended up giving him $20 for his time. All in all the experience was very pleasant. Owner super nice and knowledgeable. If you have any issues with your computers/laptops I would recommend going here.

I fully recommend this place. I was skeptical about the status of my laptop and the possibility to repair it but the technician approached the investigation thoroughly and managed to fix my screen problems in a couple of hours. He also wanted to run additional tests to make sure that the fix is going to last but I rushed in skipping some of those tests. Very professional repair job!

I will admit he is good at what he does and he is very nice. But because of the pandemic I understand it’s difficult and he changed his hours to 1-5pm which is understandable. On Friday I wanted to bring my laptop in and I called to let him know I was coming, I got an answering machine and it said they were open from 1-5. And this was 4 When I called ,so I got there for like 4:20 and he was already closed. I rushed there hoping I can be there by 5 but he was already closed. Took my old laptop there a week ago. Esi immediately diagnosed the problem and told me he can fix it , but i declined and told him i wanted to buy a new computer as that one was extremely slow and i have trouble with it. I came to change my computer battery a couple months ago for a reasonable price and got it fixed within an hour. All the other places I called were too expensive and said the estimated time was a week or two to get it fixed which did not suit me. It was fixed and worked really well. My computer started heating up a couple days ago and the battery went down really quick. I came to him, and he suggested it wasn't the battery and showed me the issue and fixed it on spot. He did suggest some inexpensive options and although he didnt have the parts. he went online and told me where to buy them. He even took pictures on my phone of the exact items I needed. My PC wouldn't turn on. Called ESI and showed up at the shop. He told me exactly what the issue was, and guided on what I should and should not do. I think what he charged my was reasonable. I got my power supply changed and a few other things. What struck me the most was that he fully informed of my issue rather than referring to it as a "problem". And he fixed my issue within the day. People charge 80 to 100 just for diagnostics. The man charges a flat 30 which is pretty good. God bless Esi.
