This is my favourite computer store in North Vancouver. Great speedy service. They fixed my PC within a day. Then they helped me setup my camera system at my shop. Amazing service. It was great to be able to call Vantechs and get someone out to our office the very next day to help us sort out our office computer issues. Siamak was very thorough and stayed until he was sure he had the right answers for us and gave us his recommendations, which we have followed. Yesterday I went there asking for some support, after wait 5 minutes a lady came out to "help me" she didn't know anything about computers. But a told her what I need and she say "the technician is in a call right now, let me ask around how long will take", I heard she asking and the technician saying rude "I am in a call" and doing a movement with his hand like brushing me out, Right away I saw that I said thank you for the help leave the place to never go back. A customer is a customer, sometimes you are going to have many customer needing help, you have to know how to deal with them, I felt brushed from that place.

ONE OF THE WORST COMPUTER REPAIR PLACES I'VE EVER BEEN TO. I took in my acer computer with Windows 10 software, 3 weeks ago to get it repaired to Vantech, due to it being extremely slow, and the person bluntly told me that he needed to install an anti-virus software therefore it would boost up the performance and speed. He charged me $140 just to do that. I got the computer and then 3 DAYS later it completely froze and STOPPED working. I took it in once again and the person there told me that there is a problem with the hard drive and he that he needed to change the part. All my files, photos, and documents all had to be ERASED from the computer in order for him to bring back my computer to life. Instead of giving me the service for free, the owner charges me $60 just to change the part, even though it was his mistake for what had happen with my computer. Anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and don't step foot into this place, you'll save yourself A LOT OF MONEY & STRESS . All the files and photos i've accumulated over the years all had to be gone because of these stupid people.

These guys are great and helpful. I typically do not deal with smaller local stores as they tend to have very unreasonable pricing. I operate a small business myself and realize that it is hard to beat online prices. However being more than twice the online prices is just not good practice. Vantech on the other hand does have very reasonable pricing. In addition they tend to have very odd computer cables that I have needed on more than one occasion! Highly recommend them!

I am totally not a computer person so when my computers at work were not working I contacted these guys and they helped out amazingly! The person they sent out was here fast and fixed the issue within minutes, He also changed all my computer cords over to new power bars, I was supposed to do this myself but was dreading it, he did it without hesitation and even cleaned up the cord area a bit for me. All in all I was very pleased with their service!

I had a problem with a backup and had to install Windows 10, an SSD and a graphics card. Took my computer to Vantechs and was very pleased with the service. The receptionist (Ferial) was very friendly, and the tech (Tiago) did a great job getting my computer repaired and updated quickly. He also patiently helped me by phone, even after the bill was paid. I would certainly recommend Vantechs if you need computer services.

Our online ordering system is vital so who I choose to maintain our servers is extremely important. I can say that over the past 10 years, Vantechs has never let me down. This was the first time we have used Vantechs to help us with our printer and our scanner. We have had two other companies help us before with our computer, one on line and one who came to our home. Both were less than fully successful. The Vantechs technician was thoroughly knowledgeable, patient, very polite, and helped us reset both our printer and scanner.They were able to do this in just over and hour. A few weeks ago i installed Windows 8 onto a new internal SSD disk in a Samsung laptop using a bootable USB stick. Somehow the install changed the boot format from bios to uefi. After this the laptop would no longer boot from any usb device, including the stick i had just used to install Win8. Searching forums and Youtube videos all said to change a couple of bios parameters to enable legacy USB. None worked. After a couple of weeks of fruitless attempts i took the laptop to Vantechs. I explained the scenario and the tech immediately started changing or verifying the bios parms. He too tried much of or the same values i had done. Even trying to boot a Win10 stick failed. The bios would not expose USB as a bootable device. BTW, an inserted stick was recognized as a regular USB flash drive, just not bootable. All the tech's attempts failed. He spent 15+ minutes on this. Since he did not correct the fault he did not charge me for the service. Even though my laptop still cannot boot usb, i did get good service and will use Vantechs again.

I always feel welcome to ask questions even if I think they are stupid. The advice they provide usually gets me out of problems. I gave Vantechs Computers my Asus laptop to fix. When I got it back they gave me a weaker charger than the one I gave them. Not only did they deny it but they tried to convince me the charger would be too big for my laptop. It was the charger that originally came with it.
