By far the worst Walmart I’ve ever shopped in Canada and the US. This was a Sunday at 530pm store was wide open and full of customers. I completely understand you need to stock shelves, but when it impacts your ability to even shop or walk down into a department. This was Girls clothing, and my 3rd attempt this week to shop here.

We were visiting North Bay. We picked up a couple of things there. We'd forgotten a birthday for a close family member in Australia. It was Sat evening so I went to the service desk to send some $ quickly through Western Union. I have done this a dozen times at home in Oshawa and now in Belleville. They usually ask for ID (Drivers License) and I am already in the system going to family in Australia. Here they asked for that plus a bill or something else with your address. Never been asked for that but this place refused to do it without mail, etc. I asked for the manager and she said the same thing. Incredible. If it's the rule at all Walmart's, why not here in Southern Ont?? I'm a senior and I was really disappointed with this store.

Be very careful when buying anything in the electronic section. I had purchased wireless earbuds that were on sale. After I got home there was nothing in the box. Even on sale they were $99.98 +tax. I was able to finally get a refund but please ask before buying anything at the Trenton Walmart location. I would hate to see anyone else go through this.

Overall a good place but whoever is responsible for the overhead announcement system needs to fix the volume. It’s too loud, when they start you can’t have a conversation and what’s worse it’s so loud the feedback distorts the voices making it difficult to make out what’s being yelled at you. Makes for a pointless exercise and an unpleasant experience

What I like about Walmart especially is the 11 PM closing time. This place is very busy during the day so I prefer shopping late at night when checkouts aren't busy, parking near the entrance is easy to find and your visit time until your exit time is probably twice as fast as as daytime shopping. I have two serious medical conditions which deplete the necessary amount of oxygen I breath. I've tried a mask and within a couple minutes the oxygen depletion caused me to lose consciousness while slowly walking for a couple minutes. I fainted on a hard floor. After I took the mask off while on the floor, I was breathing heavily for a couple minutes to restore my oxygen level. When the mask business occurred, earning mask sellers billions $$, I continued to go to Walmart without a TV promoted mask. My medical exemption legally protects me from mask freaks and store personel, although there are many businesses who don't know of the legal exemptions and the government Dictators never include the mask exemptions with their mask restrictions. Walmart is one place where I'm not harassed by employees or customers. Store customers I've spoke with, who also have breathing problems like emphysema, copd, lung damage, etc., seem to want to tolerate wearing a mask because they want to be like the rest of the masked people and not stand out as being different . I can't relate to these people who are afraid to be different than everyone else.

Worst Walmart I’ve ever visited. And they called themselves a supercenter... We tried at 7pm, 4 cashier open only... people everywhere with big carts... seriously ???Guys ??? I don’t want to wait 30 min for 3 items. So ok it’s a rush ? Ok let’s try at 9pm... but same things... with 3 cashier only now. At 7pm or 9pm not even one express cashier open... And don’t blame your employees ! They are nice and competent. This is just your organization that’s suck a lot !

Only two cashiers on duty but two more working on self checkout. You could see that most people with just a few items looked fore the CLOSED express line first than lingered in a line for one of the two cashiers but some customers with heavy loaded shopping carts and really slowly working cashiers (maybe on purpose) let them switch to self checkout. I rarely shop at Wal-Mart... now it will be even less. It was around 5pm.

This is my favorite location, I live equal distance to Huntsville, Parry Sound and North Bay. Huntsville and Parry Sound don't carry half the products even the Walmart brand items, very frustrating when out with friends and they take me to those locations. Neither one ever sells Pepsi, that is a product I expect to see in all Walmart's but 90% of the time they don't even have a spot on a shelf for it. North Bay has everything!!!!! The only location I enjoy shopping at. Thank you North Bay Walmart for being such an amazing location with fantastic customer service always.

The pharmacy staff is great and always helpful, easily one of the best Walmart pharmacies I've been to. However, stock here is hit or miss and the same can be said for the staff. I've had dealings with one staff member in particular who has always been very rude for no reason. One time when I asked him a question regarding product stock he got very short with me and walked off. I asked another staff member and they helped me find what I was looking for, but I still dread having to deal with this particular staff member everytime I go in. That being said, the greeters are always friendly and helpful and if you have any questions it's probably best to ask them.

Got the email for pickup saying my order will be ready in a half hour. Showed up 15 minutes early and reported in. Been sitting here for an hour waiting for them to bring it out. Visited Walmart at Bayshore Drive, today for the first time to grocery shop. I was appalled that there was not a dispensary of hand sanitizers when entering the grocery part of the store. How unsanitary, especially when the public are putting their hands on the cart handles and then touching items such as fruit and produce. Interesting, there is a dispenser just outside the Washroom area that is dispensing dry paper towels. Again, how unsanitary, please don't assume each person coming from that area has actually washed their hands. Many just rinse and walk away. I rarely have a bad experience but today was the absolute worst. Hardly any stock and the associates were border-line rude and far from helpful. I even saw one associate call in someone else rather than walk a customer to the aisle he was looking for. The customer was older and clearly confused. And the associate did not look busy at all, in fact i watched him walk away and just stood at a counter that had 3 other people at it. I left my cart and walked away. No shopping here for me today

My wife an I just moved to the area, we went to the Walmart pharmacy where I waited in line for 15 min, when I got to the front, I was told I was in the wrong line up!! No signs directing , nothing!! I waited in the other line for another 15 min , when I got to the front.. I was told again that I was in the wrong line, now the line is twice as long. I told her it was not fair as it was there mistake, but fell on deaf ears. That was it.. we left and found a new pharmacy. I know that one person doesn’t make a difference, but I will never step foot in that store again!

My experience at this Walmart was not good. Nothing to do with the store or its merchandise or the people within however, It is the 1st Walmart I've ever seen that denies people with trucks or trailers campers the opportunity to stay the night and shop in their store. Signs posted,, Prohibiting and a wide open empty lot... So much for Walmarts Open offer for anybody to enjoy the night During your travels in a secured parking lot... The produce at this location isn't as fresh as it could have been. I have seen moldy and soft melons on numerous occasions. I have seen limes and oranges on the ground. People touch produce and put it back. Prepackaged produce is your best bet but not worth the effort and money. My worst experience at this location was that I was at a self-checkout for 30 minutes with the help request light flashing and nobody came. I just decided to go to a regular cashier and she did not speak very much English. She was terrible at math so she unknowingly gave me $5 off of my purchase. I do not suggest this place for quick visits because it is often busy. Many employees don't seem so enthusiastic about being there. Many items can be found for a lower price at other locations. This location is overall mediocre and not much different compared to other Walmart stores.

I'm not a huge fan of Walmart as much as I was when I was a child. They lack plus size clothing in cute styles, and some of the staff are rude and gossip a lot; customer service lines are always long and take an extra 30 mins to leave. For people who go there to shop I am sure there is no reason to care about anything other than finding what your looking for. However I have to point out how rude I see management treat some of their employees. High turnover rate and a wonderful greeter who has worked there for many years being chewed out because she needs a chair. Went to buy a computer today to use for online learning for my kids, I asked the cashier in the electronics if they can help me choose which I should purchase as all the display are covered with plastic bag, she responded for me to look for an associate to help me instead of her doing it for me. Staff is excellent. The store is large and has a ton of things from. Grocery's to toy to well a bit of everything. The food has a lot of great sales and just wicked deals. I went to the store at 8:30 and the manager would not let me in. He said that he was out of his quota. There was another couple in front of me that arrived there by bus. He also sent them away. I told him you know some people cannot get here easily and you're sending them away. It is only 8:30 and your hours they are open till 9. He stated he was the operations manager and he decides what the hours are and apparently was going to take forever to get the hundreds of people out of Walmart. Putting in a formal complaint hopefully there's a district manager I can complain to because I'm not the only one with this complaint.

This store is one stop shopping place where we go for groceries, clothes, medicine and other hardware items when needed. This winter we picked up a lot of salt bags for our driveway and backyard, We as a family loved the boxing day sale and it helps for the next year christmas in a small way. Trenton Walmart was a nice addition to the City of Quinte West. Ample parking, online pick-ups, excellent Customer Service and a diverse selection of products and food products make it my go-to-store, especially late in the evening. Late hours are awesome. The other major grocery stores in town close hours earlier. I cannot give it a 5, as the prices are on average, higher than their competitors, but they do have some good deal from time to time, but know your prices before buying.

I try to avoid this Wal-Mart when I can. Some of the staff here can be quite rude at times, especially the lady who works as the greeter. As well the new security gates they have installed at this location are insulting to customers. Basically saying we don’t trust you and your stealing. I Am Very Happy to have moved near a Walmart Store ,, I can find Everything there ... I am very Upset about the Mens Section,,, No Mirrors !!! Shoe Dept,, No Mirrors !!! one in the womans and non in boys and girls dept,,, My youngest son is 16 ,, and My Older boys are 22 and 23 ... I do Not get to See the older boys much , So when they came down I got excited to do the mom thing with them and go Shopping for cloths,, 2 times we had an AwfuL experience in Quesnel ,,, We picked things out and jackets and shoes ,, My boys could NOT just put a jacket on and see what it Looks like,,same with the Cloths & Shoes ,,, we had to keep running over to the womans dept 1 mirror ,,, they decided on only a few of the selections because of the (( Inconvienience and Disrespect )) to no mens change rooms OR Even a Mirror,, Even shoe dept,, It was Awful Experience for Us on 2 Occassions ,, I don,t get very many chances to shop with All My Boys & Not Sure WHY This had to Ruin our time it was very Frustrating and Disrespectful,,, Hopefully this Time Someone will Pay Attention !!!! add Mirrors Etc to the Upgrades Happening here !!!!!!! Due to the complete lack of cashier's ( very few manned cash registers vs self serve registers) means you are going to wait some time to check out. I had one item and required cash back and waited 15 minutes. Way more self serve registers compared to ones with an actual person. I understand Walmart trying to save money by having more self serve registers, but what's the incentive for me to use it. Why should I do your job for you? I will try and use this Walmart less and less.

Easily accessible by car, plenty of handy parking close to the entrance. Spacious store, all you need can be found. I like the Gluten Free products they have. Amply supplied fresh vegetables at all times. LOVE THIS STORE.

Waited over 15 minutes in the electronics department just to buy a prepaid phone didn't even need it hooked up. The Walmart attendant in that Dept was helping someone and it was taking a long time, which is understandable. My low review is for the fact that I only needed 25 seconds of his time to buy a phone and that wasn't possible. So I left and spent my money at Best Buy. Which they helped me above and beyond.

I am biased against walmarts but if you like a typical walmart you will like this place. If you have never been to one it is a place that is understaffed by low paid employees and full of zombies shopping for groceries and usually cheap poorly made products from toys to clothes to electronics. They replaced half of the express lane checkouts for self serve checkouts so wait times are worse than ever.

Staff are helpful if you can find them, especially difficult to find when trying to buy ammunition or anything locked up. Portraits are hit or miss, sometimes there sometimes not. Difficult when not living close by and trying to get passport photos taken.

The filthiest wal mart I have ever been too. Bathrooms were not cleaned at least for 14 hours, between 8pm and 10:30 am. The store opens at 8, closes at 10, so there is plenty time for cleaning. Especially with Covid, this is disgusting and unacceptable . The parking lot is littered with garbage, spilled food and cigarette butts, there are no garbage cans around the parking lot, there were maybe five clean carts at 8pm, with all the rest filthy around the parking lot. No hand baskets. Staff standing around when they could have been cleaning. Understaffed. No one seemed to care at all about anything.

Sadly there is no option for 0 stars. Walmart was one of my first jobs (I think 18-20?) and despite some of the terrible customers that have nothing to do but complain about the discount stickers they’ve peeled off and back on to various items not scanning at their price- it was a great job and learning experience for my younger self. The store I worked at was constantly staffed and every department had people covering it to maintain cleanliness, stock, and help customers. Department 25 (shoes) had at least 2 people in it at all time. Cue 2019 where there are maybe 5 ‘associates’ on the floor during the day. There are 6 tills available for actual ‘associates’ and all the jobs that were once available for those entering the work force (or anyone needing a job) have now been replaced by computers. Walmart was convenient for a few items to save running around such a small town... Now I would rather pay the gas and time to go elsewhere.

I called these guys and nobody picked up from ANY of their departments for one hour plus. Finally got through to some braniac at the Toy's department who started yelling at me and telling me he didn't know how to transfer me to 'electronics'. Would advise to go to another Walmart. This particular branch is terrible. Would also advise whoever is in charge to step up his game at this branch and to start hiring people with an IQ over 60. Might not matter much, but you definitely lost a customer, and i'm sure this happened in the past and will happen in the future if you don't implement a better system. The phone directory is also different from the other branches. It's undeveloped and shows how 'dedicated' the clowns at this branch really are. Bravo, guys. Bravo. Give that special cupcake from the Toy's department a kiss from me. I'll just head over to Best Buy instead, where they hire human beings.

Today I visited Walmart and had a very bad experience from the front end greeting person ‘ PAULETTE’. I asked her if I could dispose some waste napkins to the garbage bin that was beside her. But they want to charge me almost double prise ( 13.98 actual prise and they going to be charge me almost 29.00 for curbside pickup as this item will shipped from Mississauga). Worst Walmart I have ever been to. Disorganized. Shelves are never properly stocked. Staff is definitely not the friendliest - although there are some lovely staff members there that try and make up for the rest of them. Could use a good cleaning inside and out. Definitely prefer to make the drive to Belleville Walmart.

I went to this location to use the Portrait Studio and never in my life have I received such terrible customer service. When I asked how much grad portraits were if I only wanted one picture, I was given a reply that may have well just told me to go away. I would have paid the 100$ for the photo but instead I was left in such a shock from the offensive response to my question and feeling as though I had to be sorry for graduating that I just decided to leave. This woman should be working in the back where no one has to deal with her terrible service.

Always enjoy shopping at Wal-Mart. The other customers are probably the worst part which is pretty quota for Wal-Mart. Edit : Got a call today saying that my second appointment for Pfhizer vaccine was cancelled. No ability to reschedule as they literally don't have it in stock and they place all blame on the company making the vaccine rather than accepting responsibility. Was told to just go to Independant instead which is probably where ill do most of my shopping now anyways since this is the way walmart treats its customers. This is 100% unacceptable as people plan and take time off for these appointments . Also asked to speak to a manager, which just prompted the employee I was talking to to become irate and eventually they just hung up on me.

I usually have my groceries delivered due to covid. I pay 9.97 and up for this service. I decided to save the money and pick up . They constantly move their pick up spot without posting at main entrance until you arrive at old pick up spot. Mt text was at 1120 am that my order would be ready in 30 min. I had called twice to notify them of my location and spot number. 52 minutes later I have received my order because my first call was 12 o'clock. Time is valuable to all as is our health. But Wal-Mart keeps increasing their prices on every thing

Definitely a everything you might need type store. Although the store is technically a Walmart Supercenter, it lacks some of the variety of the full size Supercenter. Most staff are well trained and knowledgeable. Most staff are also polite and eager to help, and in the case of them not knowing about a product are willing to ask others for help. Due to its smaller size, some products can be sold out very quickly, especially sale items during the holidays. The McDonald's restaurant is a nice addition. As is the photo center. Overall a slightly above average store that will make your one stop shopping a relatively easy endeavor.

Saturday April 3,went in monsoon rain to get what I needed from Walmart by bus.brought my strong golf umbrella.realised upon leaving the Walmart I had no change and so I couldn't afford the bus back.went back to Walmart from the bus stop to get cash back asked self serve helper if the machine offers cash back,was told yes it does, I went through the transaction and found that it doesnt.Asked her about it and she said "oh the machine dont give cash back" I responded "thats what I had asked!" And walked away with my purchase to the regular checkout.After that I discover that they have changed policy and don't offer cash back anymore. Thier ATM was broken and so I went got a staff member told them,nothing they could do,so I asked for a manager,I got a supervisor instead,they said nothing they could do,got assistant manager Charlie,was suggested to go to neighboring home depot or canadian tire to ask for cash back.I went to Home depot through the very cold monsoon like rain and wind.They inform me no cash back there either.Im soaked now and cold and as if it couldn't get worse my umbrella breaks from the wind with unrepairable damage.Walking unprotected through this horrible weather my fingers go knumb from the cold yet I press on back to the Walmart.I go to the customer support desk and tell them what has happened.Again nothing they could do.I ask for a complaint number and they give me the number.I give them my broken umbrella,the only one I have since I cannot afford much on my own having no job due to the influx of indian students preference (since businesses discovered they can exploit them until they find a way to Get Permanent Residency),rent being high and taxes being the highest rate in all of Canada. I called and complained but im cold and soaked and now am stuck in the house for a week straight due to the rain and having no umbrella.
