Terrible experience. I purchased a phone from their booth in the mall (which has a different name than the actual company). I was told it had a one year warranty when they sold it to me. I brought it home and after a month, there was a software update. The software update happened and then the touch screen stopped working. I brought it back to them and they told me that because it was under warranty Samsung was responsible. I called Samsung and they informed me that the phone is not covered by a warranty because it is not a legal Canadian phone. I then noticed that the phone box and warranty card was written in Spanish. Samsung informed me that they must have illegally imported it, and to return to store. I returned to the store and the owners insisted that Samsung was responsible. They argued with me for a long time, and then finally told me to try again. I brought it home and then to a repair person in Toronto. The repair person in Toronto told me that the reason it stopped working was because somebody installed an "aftermarket touchscreen" on it. I returned to the store and told them this, they took it and promised to send it away to be fixed in one week. Three months passed. I called them back and they insisted that they did not have my phone. I argued with them for a long time until they "found" my phone. They said it would take longer. I waited another month. I finally returned to the store to find out that it was in the same corner of their office that they put it in when I first arrived. I requested the phone back, and they returned it to me (thank god). They did not return the receipt to me. The phone is now a brick, I am out $500 after not even one month of using it, and, for some reason, they returned it to me missing pieces! (the sim card slot is completely gone!) All three times that I visited the store I heard others arguing with the owner about similar issues. STAY AWAY. I have reported them to the better business bureau and consumer affairs. Basically, I gave them $500 for nothing but a headache. And I have nothing to show for it.
Awesome place. I bought different phones and watches and never had any issues. They gave me a good deal, I’ll totally recommend this store.
the store is the best. I bought a iPhone 7 plus it was amazing I really loved it
New store, looks great and lots of variety. Bought a phone case and the owner gave me a discount on glass screen protector. Will definitely recommend this store
Not professional and the products they sell are just cheap Chinese products or broken name brands. Selling a screen protector for $30 when it's like $3 on AliExpress
Brand new phone store in Northgate Mall with all the cases and accessories you can imagine. I came here looking to buy a new phone, case and charger, and bought them all for a very reasonable price. The owner and staff are also very kind. I would highly recommend this store as it is much better than all the other stores in the mall.
I had gotten a screen protector, which I paid $30 for, placed on my phone yesterday. We went to the booth they have set up the opposite side of Northgate. Within an hour of leaving, the screen protector began peeling off. The store was closed by this point so I decided to wait till my fiancee got of work the following day. Upon returning, they immediately began to question me saying the screen protector was 'dirty', which of course it was; the phone had been in my pocket when the protector started peeling off. They insisted this was not their fault and that it was my fault. However, they replaced the screen protector. While doing so, they moved us over to the main shop where a gentleman began telling us that the reason our screen protector wasn't working was because I didn't have a phone case. He then pressed on and kept asking me why I haven't purchased a phone case from them. When I explained to them that I was looking for a specific case, which they didn't carry, he asked which case I was looking for. I told him I wanted a Parallax case from Caseology and he continued to say we could purchase a cheap one from them until it came in. This didn't make any sense to me, as I would be buying two cases for one phone. He then raised his voice and said "Why aren't you buying a case from us! You need to support your local businesses!" I found this incredibly rude as it is none of their business as to where I spend my money. I am all for supporting local businesses, but unfortunately I couldn't find what I was looking for in stores, and instead went on Amazon so that I could get what I was looking for. When they finished putting my new screen protector on, they told me they would not replace it again as it was my fault. I find this experience very unprofessional and will not be returning to them as I do not appreciate a business that treats their customers like this.
its an amazing store, I bought an ipad case for my children's ipad for a very reasonable price, not to mention the excellent quality. I would really recommend this store.
They got my phone to charge again. They saved me lots of money and waiting time. Excellent store. Would highly recommend this place!
My phone died on my birthday. I was able to get a new phone from Bell, but there was no way to transfer all my photos and data from the dead phone to the new. Normally I would have had to send in the old phone for repairs before I could make the transfer. What great luck to have this Future-tech outlet right here, on the spot. They do repairs right there in their shop. In my case, they repaired the old phone, made the transfer and then bought my old phone. All while I sat there and waited. What a great way not just to recycle a phone but to help someone else get more use out of an older, yet functional phone. As an extra bonus, I got very responsive and courteous service in this family-run business.
Brought them an iPhone 6s to have the screen replaced and in the process they messed up the home button instead of admitting they ruined the home button they claimed it was like that prior even though I know the home button worked. Told me he had a work around which was to use the accessibility home button. Do not take your phone to these scammers. They will make the phone worse then when you dropped it off!
Couldn't fix my phone. Multiple small annoying issues, plus multiple trips that could have all been avoided.
Wao repair my I phone only in 30 minutes
Nice store. Excellent service. Visited few times and always find staff very polite and co-operative.
It was amazing. The emloyee was very helpful.
Drove a car on my iPhone XR and screen and back was broken. Future tech was able to change housing and screen on my phone and it looks brand new again. Highly recomend for phone repairs in Northbay.
Store looks amazing and excellent services. I bought I phone 6 plus for my son and it’s really amazing deal.
Summary: Extremely dishonest, and doesn't listen to customers. He DID fix my phone, but installed a new screen without my consent, and then asked me for money. I paid, knowing that it was pointless to argue. I will say he is a great technician and did a great job installing the parts and explaining what was doing, even if it was suspicious. If you also notice the other detailed reviews are bad reviews, it shows that something is wrong with the service at this location. Reviews with no words that are 5 star are usually not from real customers. Full Story: My phone touchscreen was not working with potential water damage. I brought it in and Hassan said that there are three potential issues. Two of the issues would be 60$ each alone, or 90$ together. If the LCD was broken, it would be 195$! I very specifically said I cannot afford that last price, it was absurd. He said he would check for me, and would not install the LCD screen if that was the issue. When I came in, he said the LCD was broken and ALREADY had the new LCD installed on my phone, asking for 195$ (but would bring it down to 175$). He showed me an indicator that he claimed showed water damage. IT DIDN'T. Samsung support claims on their website that a different indicator must be present. He lied to me. I just wanted the cheaper fix, or a return of the phone and pay him for his time to diagnose the issue (45$).
Fixed phones for me twice. First time my son' s phone needed new battery. Second time it was my phone needing new back to fix camera. Both times service was good and repairs were professional and reasonable price. Recommended.
Bought a screen protector , returned it unopened and sealed 2 days later. The sales clerk would not return my money . The receipt stated must be unopened ,it wasent. Receipt also stated refund on accessories but sales clerk said a screen protector is not an accessory. He also said most stores at North gate do not offer refunds, that's a lie.. All he would offer was a hand written note on a paper card that was good for the amount I spent that would expire in 6 months. I know credit at a store or gift cards Do not expire in Ontario. Never had an experience like this at a North gate store and have been shopping here since it opened in the eighties. Treating customers like this in a small city is not smart.
Excellent fast repair service
Awesome store, includes everything you need for you. if their was a 6 star I would give but 5 is the most. I would highly recommend this store. Btw the owner Hassan is a very kind gentlemen.
