I had an issue with the operating system (the computer came with Win 7 and Win 10), and Rugged Books immediately sent out to me a memory stick with the correct Windows version, and also provided technical support on the phone for the installation.

Bought a refurbished Lenovo laptop from Rugged Books via Amazon. After 3 months and very little use, keyboard and trackpad stopped working. Warranty was 3 months and so will need to pay to get fixed. I will not use this vendor again. Update: After some poking around, I learned that the problem was related to a missing driver. After updating, the laptop now works fine. Since the issue is not hardware related, my complaint is less severe (and so I have upgraded to 3 stars). Still, this option could have been suggested by the vendor when I contacted them for help. On a more positive note, I received a phone call today asking to discuss the problem I mention in this comment. Better late than never! This inspired me to update my comment.

We are very happy with the two we purchased and I just ordered 3 more today. We are using them in our shops. I have talked with several people at Rugged Books and all of them have been extremely helpful and professional. I highly recommend Rugged Books!

Do not buy from them. There are plenty of other more reputable companies out there. I spent over $4000 on a computer but it never arrived. Ruggedbooks kept my money and blamed DHL but refused to work with DHL (even though DHL stated it was standard policy for the shipper to initiate the claim). After pleading with DHL, they opened a claim on my behalf and determined that it was lost in transit. They offered a refund for Ruggedbooks, but Ruggedbooks again refused to work with DHL, preferring to just keep my money. I was fortunately able to get a full refund by convincing my credit card company to stop payment. Thank goodness my credit card company and DHL were helpful, but Ruggedbooks should be ashamed of their horrible customer service. Definitely find a different seller!
