my laptop fell today and crack the screen around 11 , I called cyberdyne, brought it in by 12, they called me back by 2 saying the screen will be fixed today, by 4 I had picked up my laptop with a brand new screen !!!! I do not like to criticize people, yet I feel the need to warn people of this owner. I brought my transformer book in August and it sat there for 2 weeks no call, no updates you get the I will look at it on my own time tonight. then as you still get no calls you decide to start visiting, as I am about to get usual line thrown at me supposedly someone else fixed my tablet without owners knowledge charge of 100 + tax (no explanation of what was fixed) brought home does charge but something is not right. Summer holidays to back to school, tablet not used. October need again ,same problems ,well not bringing it back there instead buy new one. Finally feel I have been ripped of decide to give another chance to correct problem bring back to cyberdyne. Again in shop over 3 weeks no calls no updates every time I call given will find out and call back never happens. Now visit store 3 times with more stories than walt disney. I finally give up and ask for tablet back unfixed. When I pick up tablet I am assured now they will fix, sorry no thanx. So I decide since nothing was repaired I would like a refund. Now I am told he will have to rip out part from tablet and will then maybe give me half and old part was of course thrown away, yet at first he has no idea how it was fixed. No thank you will now take all my business to mobile klinnik at the pen centre. Please I highly recommend you avoid this business he is a ripoff and a crook and highly doubt he knows what he is doing

My motherboard had an issue connecting to the hard drive on my 1 year old ASUS notebook. Regrettably this was just past the manufacturers 1-year warranty. The gentlemen at Cyberdyne fix the problem by ordering a rare part and while it took a while to be repaired the service was good and I've never experienced an issue with the hard drive again. Last week my notebook crashed and would not reboot the hard-disk. I feared the worst thinking this would cost me more time and money however I was pleasantly surprised when they fix the issue (loose cable) and provided me with an audio adapter free of charge. They're solid guys; honest and fair.

HONEST REVIEW: Not worth it. Don't use Cyberdyne Unprofessional approach to mistakes If there is any damage from their work, you will pay out of pocket. They care more about a small profit than their own business. To get anything fixed after the admission of a mistake, they will play with your time and ask you to bring it back more than twice to check the same thing. Even if you work from home and this is your only computer. Your computer will be scratched, and their logic is to check out a video online and try not to scratch it. I went to this store looking to upgrade my 2017 iMac with more ram and an SSD. When I went to pick up the Mac, and I was instructions to keep the painter's tape holding onto the screen for at least the weekend so the "fresh" glue bonds. Everything worked great until about a couple weeks later, my mouse needed recharging. I plugged in my USB, and the screen popped out, only being held on by a ribbon connecting the screen to the components. The computer wouldn't turn on after that. When I called them, they asked me to bring it in, and they would give it a check. After leaving it with Cyberdyne, I was told they would call me if they find any issues. A day later, I get a call saying everything was fine except there was a black line on the LCD, but it was usable, and they are not going to replace it. At best, they would split the cost with me. When I arrived, I told them it's not fair that I follow instructions, and by plugging in my USB, the screen pops out. His logic was I don't know if that's what happened; if I cover this cost, I won't make money on this Job. After back and forth and admission of possibly using too little glue, they agreed to cover only half, but they needed the computer to check a couple of things. This happened two times after because they can't seem to make out a serial number. I rather have a messed up screen then leave these people my computer so there can further damage it. After spending more than $1200 on a Mac and more than $800 in parts and services, I have a broken LED, a scratched top to bottom glass mouse, and a scratched up iMac. DO NOT go to them; their entitlement after making a mistake is unprofessional and too risky for your electronics. Their reviews are not reflecting their work; you will find other reviews like this.

My newly upgraded PC was a real head scratcher. It went from running perfectly fine for about a week to constant sudden restarts. I couldn't fix it and figured I had a hardware failure on my hands. I took my PC in to Cyberdyne to see if they could help. After a bad experience with a different local repair shop being dishonest with me, I could really tell that the guys at Cyberdyne cared. I was communicated with (they will call / text you), I was NEVER out of the loop with what was being done to my PC, they educated me on any of the mistakes that occurred during the build process, and they followed a step by step diagnosis process (Hard Drives, RAM, GPU, MOBO, and CPU). The worst thing happened. Turned out my CPU was faulty. They had tried installing a different Power Supply and MOBO before coming to that conclusion, and upon installing a different CPU the system works perfectly. They APOLOGIZED to me for the time it took to fix, but I was just grateful to have my PC back in working order. They reinstalled Windows 10 with a PERMANENT copy for me, they made it clear they are standing behind their work with a warranty and the pricing was extremely fair... to say the least. My PC has been running with no issues for 2+ weeks now and I'm finally comfortable to write this review. If my family or friends have any issues with their PC I'd recommend these guys.

My laptop fan had given out super close to a university deadline, and other complications were found, but the owner managed to repair my laptop in such a short amount of time which really saved me. He knew how stressful it must have been and really went out of his way to help me out. My laptop cannot be closed, there are parts broken and jammed the joint. Live across the road, so my boyfriend sent my computer there and try to fix this small physical problem. They are not professional at all!!!! The tall big technician was so rude! First they said it is a easy fix; then 2 week after, no updates, I have to call ask for the updates! They said Sony don't produce the parts anymore, they blame on the manufacturers and told me it is hard to fix. I was thinking take my laptop back, but they said they can use the tap and glue to fix the part. I know tap and glue will look ugly, but I had never thought they would break my touch screen. And they charged me without an apology. That technician told me they have to break my touch screen to get the physical problem fixed. They never mentioned that even once when I call for the updates. It's like you went to a hospital to treat a fever, then you notice your kidney had been taken. If they told me there was possibility to create bigger damage, then I can simply pay them the fee for checking my laptop instead fixing my laptop there. If you don't know how to fix the problem, just admit it and tell your customer the truth, don't just thinking to get the money from customers. I don't need you to tell me the laptop can still be used without the touchscreen. You have no right to fix small problem by create a bigger damage without telling your customer. That's not how you fix a electronic device and treat an innocent customer.

My laptop stopped working this morning in the midst of my busiest school time, thought I lost everything on the hard drive as well as things I was currently working on for school. Brought it into Adam and Andrew thinking the worst, they managed to get everything off the hard drive despite it being a write off and set me up with a great new laptop which should have taken a few days to get set up with everything the way I needed it. Instead I spent just a few short hours while they set up everything I needed, made sure the new laptop was protected and ready to go, continuing right where I left off. They went above and beyond, staying a few minutes after close just to make sure I was set. Seriously amazing customer service and I could not be happier. Great business that has all my business for all my future tech needs. Cannot recommend enough, you will not get this level of personalized service from the big box stores. Canada Computers wanted to put my laptop in quarantine for 3 days before they even looked at it. This would have cost me the school term. 100% recommend this business!

I brought my Alienware laptop in to be updated to windows 10 and they did a fantastic job. Took the appropriate additional steps to make sure the laptop was updated in the best way (Alienware laptop is tricky and time consuming to update to windows 10). After they had updated my laptop to windows 10 he mentioned it was not running the greatest. They recommended to replace the SSD with another one (Samsung Magician). They ordered and installed it for me for a great deal. Got home and booted up my Alienware and started playing a game, it is running fantastic and much faster than it used to. Feels like brand new. Would recommend these guys to anybody for their computers. I myself will be coming back to them in the future for any other computer inquiries or problems.

Excellent customer service beyond my expectation! I was referred to them from my photography brother who had upgraded and transferred pictures. Both Adam and Jeff took the time to take me through all the questions needed to build a computer system tailored to my information usage - better than a generic big store buy. I actually had a chance to share in the building of the system which helped me understand the system. I have more warranties and avenues for immediate repair through Cyberdyne compared to a big store with a jammed counter. As a Senior with limited computer language, they were careful listeners and made sure we were on the same page. Much appreciated. I was so lucky to find a place that had experience with Ancestry's Family Tree Maker 2017.1 program. Transferring my 30 years worth of family history was a crucial issue for me and they took the time to download a new Ancestry program and transfer all the information over for me. I was able to sit with Adam to see my main viewing page with all my favorite icon/pathways installed for me. Adam made sure I understood how the system worked, giving me hands on time, before releasing me from the store. I am up and running. Love the big screen and quieter system. Service) There are great things done in the Niagara Falls sun, by the crew at Cyberdyne If your computer does crash, you can make a mad dash but you may have to stand in line. Their service is tops, the best of all the shops and with computers they know what to do They know how to patch ‘em, they even mix and match ‘em and you’ll save lots of money too. My PC was not faring well, I was madder than..you know, so I drove to Portage and O’Neil, I was greeted with smiles, and I knew in a while, my computer woes would heal. The old one was toast, ancient at most so a I got a rebuilt one that was great I took it home right away and in minutes I’d say it was faster and better...really first rate! So thanks Adam and crew, great follow up too, my computer story can end. If you need any help, HEY...I’d put this on YELP, Cyberdyne should be your friend! Their support is ongoing, that’s really worth knowing, so take a lesson from me. If your computer goes down, they’re the best in town, Cyberdyne is the place to see!!! Seriously, not that I wasn't being serious, the gang at Cyberdyne Systems satisfied my computer needs completely. My HP laptop died suddenly on me. Cyberdyne took the unit immediately for me that day and gave me a quick assessment. They were able to tell me that my data was still intact. It seemed to be a simple power supply but it turned out to me much more. Cyberdyne kept my computer for 2 weeks. They tried (by their account) 7 different things to get my computer running again. I would've wished that they were able to be quicker but they had to order parts over a long weekend too. After many attempts to fix it they finally said they could not do it. They put countless hours and purchased parts on my behalf. I purchased a new computer from them. In good faith, they did not charge me for the parts and labor to repair my computer. In fact they transferred all my data at no cost to the new computer. In the end, they went above and beyond to try and make me a satisfied customer. I feel that pound for pound I now have a better computer that I will never have any issues having to service. I will also send as many people as I know to them as they are certainly very intent on having a great reputation in the business world.

Computer is working amazingly, it had more than we needed at a fraction of the cost of what we were initially looking at. I took my laptop in so they could save my data, that's all i wanted. They said it could be done so i left it with them. A couple hours later they called and told me it was going to cost hundreds of dollars to save my data but the hard drive was also toasted. I wasn't willing to spend that on an older laptop but they tried to convince me it was an investment and not a repair. I took the laptop elsewhere and he was able to save all my data and re-install windows 10 plus office for $40. My hard drive was not toasted. That compared to their hundreds and no guarantee of saved data. I would not recommend them especially if an older person. They see an older woman and see $$$$ . Plus they charged me for doing nothing.

Went here originally to purchase a laptop and one of the employees recommended that it would be cheaper just to get a old laptop fixed. So he cleared out my old laptop and put better ram and a new ssd harddrive. It runs like new!
