If I could give a 0 I would, been sitting on a plastic chair in my living room for weeks now, finally a confirmed delivery date of Thursday January the 9th for our new sectional sofa. It is now Friday evening and the delivery date has changed again to Wednesday January the 15th because it “never made it on the truck” and the associates could only blame it on the boxing day rush... every other company seems to handle it just fine, can’t wait to sit on my plastic chair for who knows how much longer. Judging by other reviews it seems that im not the only one with this issue, People are booking off full work days to wait for their delivery that never shows up, extremely unprofessional.
I recently called the Leon's Trenton location and spoke with Gary. He was extremely helpful, pleasant to deal with and we had a few laughs along the way. I would highly recommend dealing with Gary as he knew his stuff and was so easy to deal with!
Looking for a new high end mattress but won't buy it from Leons! Good selection but was advised that once delivered its a final sale even if it doesn't fit into my new bed frame. Considering the fact that most major brands these days offer a 100 night sleep guarantee its pretty short sighted of them. I loved the mattress but won't buy from a store that doesn't support their customers!
Friendly staff. All the prices are familiar to other stores. I just purchased a new washer/ dryer set with free shipping. If I bought from the Best Buy, it would have cost me another $104 for shipping. Fast and curdious and free shipping.
James at Leon’s Trenton has got to be the best and most helpful salesperson I’ve spoken to. I went the other week looking to purchase a couple of tub chairs that were on sale but was told I couldn’t purchase them at the time from one salesperson at the Trenton location to get them shipped to Kingston as I am moving in a couple weeks. I went back today and was greeted politely by James who was super helpful and knowledgeable and assured me that the chairs could in fact be delivered to my new place. Super positive experience this visit with James from the start when he said “I’m here to help you, not harass you”. THANK YOU JAMES!!!

Spent over 8k this past few weeks and not a satisfied customer at all. In fact, I will never return to this location. Now after all, the $100 delivery charge from brick I would have rather paid then dealing with LEONS. Items came, and 1 chair leg is missing because the delivery guys unpacked in the truck. Now I will be short 1 chair, and the point of this was to have a nice big table for my family at Christmas. Now trying to get the other leg has been a mess, even to the point where they are just making up stuff now. If it wasn't so difficult I would pack everything in a uhaul and take it right back! BUYER BEWARE!!!

never order furniture online from Leons. I ordered and paid for dishwasher, stove, couch and chair - to be delivered a week later. Trenton Leons cancelled delivery the day of because it wasn't in stock then just stopped following up with a delivery date. A month later I asked for my money back and the manager - who still didn't have a delivery date for all of my items called me on a friday and said "go ahead and do whatever you want and have yourself a great day'"- then hung up. Didn't even let me know when my money would be refunded. Had to call back to ask. Was told to go online and figure it out. It was like I had caused the whole inconvenience. i was polite every time I called - just wanted my furniture! Terrible customer service experience As per 'the owner'''s response below - my money has not been refunded. half of it has. No response still on the other half. 'Customercare' was contacted 4 times. they don't respond. Buyer beware with this scam. No furniture and it is a fight to get my money back. Nightmare
Ordered a washer and dryer, waited 2 weeks for the delivery. The day finally came for it to be delivered but they didn't show up. Called them to inquire but could not get through. Found a Leon's driver down the road asked him if he was coming by next, he said no we're not on his list. He called the store and they said the order was "never put through" I mean come on! Totally unacceptable customer service on every angle. Waste of our time energy and resources. Will be going elsewhere.
Don’t buy here ,they will harass you with phone messages with sales promotions for years. And they won’t take you of their automatic call list
Went in and picked out a reclining sofa, was ordered by Jackie who was lovely. One week later the sofa came on sale so I went back in to get the sale price, had no problem with that, and decided to purchase the matching recliner as well. Delivery guys were entertaining, got the job done although a little later than they had quoted. Still waiting on the recliner with no ETA but that's understandable given it was ordered while on sale.
We purchased some furniture from Leon's (chairs, loveseat, sofa, coffee table) in June. Due to production delays, we will not have our furniture until December - this is understandable, due to the pandemic. This review is to highlight what I found to be poor customer service - although we were assured by our salesperson (James) that he would follow up with us in regards to better prices being offered by the store during our 60-day price guarantee period, we were never once contacted by James and instead had to follow up ourselves to ensure the price guarantee was honoured. Furthermore, the price adjustment that James put in did not end up matching the actual price (what I would have paid if I had purchased through the website) by ~$30. I asked him to check his math, but did not want to push further because it was not worth the hassle for only $30, and I definitely got the impression that he felt me to be a nag/bother. Ultimately, it left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I would not choose this Leon's again due to its customer service.
I went in not expecting they would have my item in stock but they did! Very helpful and pleasant sales staff.
We recently purchased a brand new GE fridge from Leon's in Trenton. After waiting a few weeks for it to be delivered (understandable), it was dead on arrival. I called Leon's who pushed me off to GE to deal with the issue. I made a comment to the manager at Leon's about not knowing that appliance sales were final and surprised that I couldn't get my money back. After reading their website I've come to see that I was entitled to my refund as I called within 72 hours. Not sure why I wasn't corrected on the phone? A week later our new fridge was finally fixed and now I have a brand new product that had to be fixed before I used it. I called Leon's back asking for them to throw in an extended warranty (free of charge) as I have no confidence in this product now, for our troubles, and for the fact that I had to use holiday time to wait around for the repair guy. They wouldn't do that. I even mentioned that their website says their Platinum Promise is "You don't just buy a piece of furniture, you buy Peace of Mind™ . At Leon's, we're more than just a furniture store. We're a family, with family values. We understand your family's needs, and that's why since 1909, we've built our business on exceeding expectations for service, quality and value. If for any reason you're dissatisfied, we promise to do whatever we can to make you happy.". Well, I don't feel like family, and I'm not happy.

I have bought literally all my furniture and appliances at Leon's Trenton. I want to give a shout out to Dave in appliances who has always been fantastic, knowledgeable and honest. I'd also like to give a shout out to Gary up in furniture who has always taken care us, always friendly always looking out for our best interest. We feel like we have our own personal shoppers with these guys! Quality of products always good but those 2 keep me coming back!
Great sales person. If you are looking for an honest sales person go to Tanya at Leon's very personable and down to earth. Sold me an adjustable bed and a leather recliner. Perfect. Better priced than I thought.
You get what you pay for: free delivery all fine till they take the door off your appliance and dont put it back on right, and when you call the store all they can do is offer to give you a number for an appliance repair company that will change you. Also at the store they charge you $30 to remove old appliance but when the delivery team shows up they tell you next time dont pay the $30 in store and just give the delivery guys 20 bucks cash and they will still remove it.

This was a five star review, until we started getting robo calls from the owner. Seriously? So lame.
My fiancé and I purchased a couch from this location almost 7 months ago and still haven’t seen it. Every month we’ve called to find out when our couch is coming and every month we’ve been told “oh definitely by the end of next month” Recently the customer service has gotten even worse to the point where their employees have said “it’s not our problem, cancel the order if you want we get thousands of new orders a day you won’t be missed” And to cap it all off this morning despite my fiancé being calm and professional on the phone with them she once again received “we don’t have a delivery date for you and it’s not our problem” before being hung up on mid conversation with their floor manager. The service here is disgusting and they’ve been doing nothing but taking advantage of the lockdown situations in order to excuse their own inability to competently manage their store and customers. Very disappointed and I would rather pay twice the price at literally any store than ever do business with these people again. If I could rate lower than 1 star I definitely would.
Walked in on Monday to meet with a guy who told us he would help us. He then proceeded to avoid us for customers who were a bit older and probably looked like they were more likely to buy something because we are young. They lost our business that day but we went back in on Tuesday and got a nice new bed from a much more helpful employee. Unfortunately the first guy lost commission but the nice guy on the second day was able to make a good sale.
Had the absolute worst experience with this store. I purchased a new mattress and had it delivered. The day it was delivered it seemed much firmer than when I had tried it in the store. Having buyers remorse I kept it in the original packaging along with the original tags and called the store the next day. I was told that in order to return this brand new bed I would have to pay a 20% stocking fee because I hadn't purchased a $139 mattress cover that I already own from a previous purchase. I've never been experienced such horrific customer service. I tried contacting corporate who basically told me because it was a franchise there was nothing they could do because I didn't buy the mattress cover. Any other mattress store offers a 90 day return policy with no additional money grab. I have to remind you that this bed is brand new, in package with tags. I will never ever buy from Leon's again and would strongly caution against anyone else doing so.

Was not impressed with my visit today at local Leon's store. Due to the absence of professional service... I left and drove a quarter mile to another furniture store . Within 15 min. I purchased a 1000.00 item... and served by a professional person that treated me like a good customer. All my needs were met.. And came away totally satisfied . And it was nice to be served by someone dressed professionally....not like I was at a sports event .
If I could give NO STARS, this rating would be more accurate. First of all, he salesman didn't give us any information to help us choose the best appliance for our needs. We have subsequently discovered from the plumber that the Bosch dryer is lower-powered and will require a long drying time. On the day of delivery, a shipping charge was included and we had been told at purchase that there was free shipping. This required the delivery guys to phone the store (for 40 minutes) and to have the store explain why there was a difference re: cost from our receipt and the 'new' invoice that came with the shipping. After that waste of time, the guys left. I decided to do a first load of laundry to test the Bosch machine. On the spin cycle, a huge crashing sound started and the machines flew 3 feet from the wall. It was turned off immediately. After contacting the store, we were directed to a plumber (no promise of compensation or credit of any kind). The plumber found that the shipping bolts had not been removed. He said that should have been done by the delivery guys. He said we were lucky we turned it off right away or the machine would have been ruined. He suggested we take his invoice (136.00) to Leon's and request reimbursement for removal of the bolts.....in his words "the guys didn't do their job". BOTTOM LINE: Went to Leon's 'Customer Service' who refused to reimburse us as apparently customers are supposed to understand about shipping bolts and remove them. I doubt many people even know what a shipping bolt is and what they look like. Needless to say, Leon's Trenton has lost a potential future customer. AT LEON's TRENTON there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Buyer beware!!!!

We purchased a new TV from David. He was very knowledgable and had great customer service. That's what brought us back to Leon's. Loved the fact that they have their inventory in stock to be picked up when you purchase. Nice experience.

This is a before and after (one year) view of 2 chairs I purchased for over $1,000 per chair thinking they were leather. Believe me when I say this one star rating is only there because it wouldn't post otherwise. Thus, I tell you at Leon's, "LET THE BUYER BEWARE"!
How's this for a multi million dollar buisness. I purchased a washer from leons and paid almost 1500. Dollars I picked it up myself and installed myself . The thing that bothered me was after a cpl days I got a call from the salesman and he told me my warranty is void for he made a mistake putting down the wrong code . He then said I can fix this by dropping off another 20 dollars. How cheap is that . I'm sure he made a good commission and u think he would of put the 20 up but no it was imperative that I give him 20 bucks I've never had a good experience shopping there never again
We ordered a washer and dryer on Monday Sept 27 and was very happy it was in stock. We had it delivered just now on Sept 29 AWESOME. The guys that delivered our washer and dryer were super great. The salesman (Mike) for the washer and dryer was great. We have also ordered some furniture that had to be ordered which is fine with us. That salesman (James) was also fantastic. Do not buy from Leon’s Trenton. After buying a full set of couches from them 1 year ago we have had to have not 1 or 2 but 3 repairs on them. They called to tell me the parts were in and a week later when I called to ask when the repair would happen they said they didn’t have the parts. Tired of the constant lies and poor customer service.
Absolutely horrible service! Go elsewhere, I sure won’t go back!!! I purchased two chairs on 18 December 2018 and was told my order “will arrive within the first two weeks of January, maybe an extra week to be in the safe side”. No special order, just not in stock I was told. On February 2nd I received a call that my chairs won’t be in for at least another two weeks! When I asked what would Leon’s do to compensate me I was told “nothing” I’ll never go back to Leon’s Trenton
Very poor customer service, Went to Leon's to purchase washer and dryer for my new place. Found the units I wanted, purchased them and made an appt for delivery. Was not made aware of any issues with the dates I chose and was told they will arrive sometime that day but they don't give exact times for delivery. Took time off work to wait for delivery, appliances never showed up. Called Leon's to be told the truck with my appliances on them has been "missing" for 3 weeks. 3 weeks after promised delivery date Leon's calls to tell me my appliances are in, to only be followed up with there delivery truck is full and I can't get my appliances for another week. Lined up to pick up the appliances myself as I couldn't wait any longer, went into the store and asked for reimbursement for my hassle and having to pick up my own appliances and I was told "I was never charged delivery from the beginning". So there is nothing they can do to help. Appliances work great, just wish I chose a company that treated there customers with respect and took accountability for their problems instead of making them my problem. Will not be buying furniture or appliances from Leon's again and will not recommend them to anyone.
We adore shopping at Leon's. The prices are great, the service is great and they always have amazing sales/deals. Plus, they are the only store around that offers free shipping. They have their own trucks and staff to deliver as well. Leon's is just a great place to shop for house/home stuff.
Mike was great up front or so we thought yet failed to bring up key details as first time home buyers. No hoses for a gas stove were included nor were we told that we would have to hire someone in to hook it all up. That’s all great but as a first time home buyer had no idea. Long story short do not shop there.

I want to say how much I appreciated Paul Higson, sales associate looking after my needs for a washer and dryer. I had purchased a front loading pair 5 days ago but changed my mind and decided I wanted a top loading washer. I went back to the store and Paul had a lot of paperwork to do to change my order from front loading to top loading and totally different make of washer/dryer. He was so very pleasant and professional in the time he had to spend to make the change. I highly recommend him as a sales associate for your store. This is my first time of dealing with Leons, as recommended by my son, and I certainly will go back in the future. Thank you.

My husband and I went into Leon's on Sunday morning looking to purchase a new TV. We had our mind set on what we wanted and our budget. We then spoke with Brad who got us in touch with Ryan Conley on in the electronics department, filled Ryan in on our requests, which then Ryan took us down to the TVs, and showed us the TVs on the floor. He explained everything he could to us. He showed us 2 TVs in our budget, and we wanted to chat about it just the 2 of us. So, we told him we would be back Monday evening, asked and wanted to confirm he was going to be in Monday. He didnt push anything on us or anything. Monday afternoon I called, to confirm the TV we wanted was in stock, sure enough it was! I told Ryan we would be there within an hour or so. We got the store, Ryan had the paperwork started and the TV was waiting for us! Thanks for the awesome service Ryan! I would totally reccomend you to anyone!!!!
December 3rd, bought a mattress set to be delivered in 2-3 weeks; someone would be in touch to schedule delivery. Process was painless, Shaun was knowledgeable and friendly, prices were great. December 26th - math whizzes will note that this is past the 3 week timeframe, and nobody contacted us - we called to check order status, and arranged delivery for December 27th. December 27th my partner took the day off work, and the truck arrived with only a boxspring and drivers looking a bit sheepish. Supposedly the manufacturer couldn't find a driver to deliver the mattress to the store, which seems far-fetched - do they really send one mattress to a Leon's in a dedicated truck? Someone was to phone us back that afternoon with an update... they didn't. January 2nd - phoned to see when we'd get our mattress. No news. They're leaving a note for the sales rep to follow up. Should I hold my breath?

We were excited for our delivery of our new couch and chair over 3000 in value..the delivery showed up without a drill with power in which I had to supply in order to have legs attached to sofa and chair ..delivery was in rain and no attempt made to minimize water on our hardwood! Couch has a issue in need of repair... Waited 22 weeks for delivery and all I asked was my delivery was in the morning. My time is 3 pm to 7 pm. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they answered the phone.

Just purchased a new mattress set from Leon's in Trenton and dealt with Brad Hedges and Jackie. Right off the bat Brad asked us questions and answered everything we wanted to know and pointed us in the right direction to make our perfect choice. This isn't the first time we've shopped at Leon's and dealt with Brad. You walk in and no pressure what so ever. Hands down best salesman I've ever dealt with. Parents bought new dishwasher, it took 2 and half months to arrive. It didn't have all of the parts to install. After a phone call to the store they were told it wasn't their problem contact the manufacturer. Dishwasher worked for 1 load only then the float sensor gives them issues. Called leons again and were told again not their problem call manufacturer. Hopefully people in town will go elsewhere or save themselves a problem and just buy from the manufacturer.
Love the customer service! Was treated with respect from the moment I walked in the door. Amazing selections and incredible savings! Warranties that are impossible to beat! Plus they had it all delivered in a reasonable ammount of time, and at no extra charge!
To be honest the staff were all talking to themselves. Noone came to help me, or asked what I was after, until I entered the tv area and got told none of the TV's or deals they advertised were available, I am very disappointed because I went there first before anywhere else, it's too bad they can't even come close to competing with Walmart or best buy, they will likely close soon because of it, I found a much better brand name tv, size I wanted, all the options I wanted, and I only had to drive 10 minutes away from Leon's to do so. Maybe consider that a business fail Leon's.
