If I could rate 0 starts I would. I have never come across a less professional company in my life! If you are wondering if you should hire this company, run for the hills! I was dealing with customer service who indicated they had the product I wanted. They indicated they could secure the item within 3-4 weeks. I gave them my credit card number and shipping address and never heard anything. Five weeks later I called to follow up and they reported to me that they had not processed the order because they don't ship to my area. However they failed to ever update me that they had not ordered my product, even after taking my credit card details. When I confronted them, they escalated it to their manager and he simply said "we can't process this order. Sorry". This is absolutely ridiculous.

Fairly knowledgeable staff, however, don't expect them to do you any favors. I bought an external hard drive enclosure, not too long ago and the board inside failed. I brought it into them, and although they opened a new one to allow me to see the board to determine the rating of the failed components, they would not go that extra step and swap the boards, eventhough the product was already "Open". When it comes to where I buy my PC components, the only thing that local stores have over online retailers is that attitude of "Hey, let me just swap that out for you, and I'll mark this one as defective". Quick simple service, for the sake of customer satisfaction. Now instead of leaving the store with the mindset of wanting to do all my purchases there, I walked out of that store with the mindset that I have no reason to go there anymore, why would I?

I came to Boom I.T. because my computer had been unsuccessfully serviced by another business to replace the dc jack because my OEM adaptor died and the new one did not fit properly. It took two attempts and the problem was not solved, it only escalated. During the repair I was told my motherboards connection to the dc jack was broken and that I would need to replace my motherboard. I was sceptical of the diagnosis and so I took my computer for a second opinion to Boom I.T. Their outside technician took a look and it turned out that the grounding wire on the replacement dc jack was broken and not vice versa like I had been previously told. It was a simple fix that saved me a few hundred dollars it would have cost to replace a motherboard that didn't need replacing. Would highly recommend this business as they were professional, trustworthy, and are capable of doing a thorough and proper diagnosis of what needs to be repaired. Thanks guys!

I really really REALLY wanted to leave this buisness five stars. But unfortunately I couldn't due to the few issues I had while using their service. I had a laptop repair that took about 5 weeks, 2 of those weeks waiting on a part. But when I got it back my laptop didn't function correctly. I returned it and this buisness fixed it again rather quickly and had it in working order! It now works AMAZINGLY and I am satisfied with the repair. Customer service was good but I wish there was more transparency when repairs are being done via the support tickets. It also took a long time (about three weeks) for a diagnostic on my computer to be completed. This buisness is most likely extremely busy due to covid and increased use of laptops/computers. I hope they can add more hardware IT's to it's staff in the future to speed up repairs because waiting five weeks is a long time to go without a computer. I would still recommend this buisness to people who need repairs, but if you're looking for a really fast repair you might want to look elsewhere.

Excellent staff, great service, ive brought my pc in a gew times and they are usually pretty quick wuth the repairs. But apparently it's about to take 3 days for Windows 10 to be installed on a new hard drive. Now I won't have my pc the entire weekend and can't do class work. We'll, just got a call back saying my pc is ready. Not sure why I was told 3 days but I guess ample time was given in the estimate. Truly great staff, really helpful and prices are fair. Back to 5 stars.

I went in expecting to overpay for a new hard drive. But was satisfied with the price they had. Markup was substantialy less then what I thought it would be. There was a 5-10 percent markup. He actually charged me for a 2tb hdd but received a 3tb one. Went back in when I realized it and payed the difference.

I purchased a CPU, Motherboard and Ram from here about a few weeks ago. It was as good as a buying experience could get. Very friendly and helpful, he really took the time to find an alternative CPU to what I was looking for. I've been using my system ever since the purchase and I have to say I am super impressed with the performance, it definitely exceeded my expectations and I ended up with a way better setup that I was even looking for. I priced up my purchase on the Newegg website and I saved over $140.00 to as if I were to order it online, but instead I got it all in stock right away no problems whatsoever . Sean the customer service was excellent, thank you very much. 10/10 Would Recommend and go again!

Went in looking for an adapter that staples or anyone else didn't have, they didn't have the specific adapter but they did have a used cable and another adapter that would serve the same purspose, bought the adapter and they gave the me the cable free of charge. I attempted to build two PCs on my own. Spent two full days on it but neither PC would boot to the Bios. Called Boom I.T. and spoke with Josh. Josh sounded very friendly and knowledgeable over the phone so I brought my PCs in for him to see if he could fix my issues. Josh looked at the first PC and saw that there was no Graphics Card (I intentionally left the graphics card out of the build as the PC was not going to be used for gaming). Josh than asked me what CPU I had used. I told him it was an Intel I5 9400F. Josh knew right away that the CPU I purchased MUST have a dedicated graphics card. I bought one from Josh and he installed it right away and confirmed the PC could boot into the BIOS. Josh then looked at the second PC and knew immediately that the graphics card I had purchased required an additional power cable to be connected to the Mother Board. He then looked at my Power Supply and the provided Power Cables and told me that the cable I needed was not included. Josh and a colleague then discussed options and they had a cable in the store that they could use. Again Josh got my second PC all setup and tested to make sure it was ok. I am so over the top happy with Josh and Boom I.T. Next time, I am building a PC, I will bring all the parts out to Boom I.T. and have them do it for me. Obviously there is a cost for this but I had spent 2 full stressful days trying to do this myself and it is well worth the cost.

Prices are about the same as online so it's a great place to buy computer parts or to have a build a new PC. They do repairs and usually have a large stock of current hardware. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
