The companies I am involved in have used Dan Nelson's services for the last 10 years in Nelson B.C. One of the companies has grown to have about 30 people on the team and Avatar Computing has been our tech services provider for all those years. Now we have full time tech person and Dan is still the senior tech person we go to when our in house tech cannot solve a problem or wants a second opinion. Dan has a professional education in the technical field (I can recall the name of the degree) which gives him a breadth of skills that include not only the typical software issues, it also includes instaling cable, running wiring and installing hardware ect. which he did for a recent renovation that we completed. From time to time we have tried other companies locally and remotely and we always have come back to Dan for his high level of expertise, his network of other specialists that he can access when we need them, and his friendly positive, service oriented nature. Dan has said his job is to be a bridge between Consciousness and technology, maybe that is part of what makes him a pleasure to deal with. I have seen Dan do a lot of volunteer work in the area and my experience is that he is a respected and valued member of the Nelson community.
