Like many other reviews have stated, this business offers great service. Their unusual way of operations might seem strange at first, but trust me, they are the real deal. You must hand $120 cash for first diagnostics when they pick up your computer. No receipt offered, no email, no proof of nothing, NADA. 4 hours later you get the diagnostics and a quote by text message. Their costumer service is handled via text message and phone. Very unusual way of running a business, at least in North America. You can tell this is an independent business operated by immigrants with a clear of goal to thrive in the market and to offer the best customer service possible. They are not cheap but they are good. My mac laptop got fixed within a day and the owner was 100% responsive to my inquiries over text messages. I truly recommend KSK computers for mac repairs. Forget about mac boutique in St. Laurent (they are the WORST). KSK is the real deal.

The technician picked up my computer, had a diagnostic within the hour, ordered the part, installed it, and delivered it back to me - all within the same day. It might be off-putting at first that they take nothing but cash, but Konesh, the technician, answered all my inquiries via text and phone and the desktop is now again fully functional.

My ThinkPad was fried and needed a fix. KSK responded very quickly to my inquiry. They came to pick up the laptop at my place, and two days later they knew what the problem was. We negotiated by text, they ordered the necessary parts, and delivered the computer in full working state two weeks later, due to shipping delays on the parts. Note that everything is paid in cash. Overall super fast service and really convenient.

He does fast and amazing work! He can even come and pick up and return your computer! I have an old late 2013, iMac 21.5 computer that has slowed down almost to a halt. It was impossible to do anything without seeing the spinning wheel. At first, I thought I needed more RAM but thankfully he was honest. He recommended that I immediately perform a back up since my drive was dying. All I needed was to replace my old disk drive with an SSD. He then returned my Mac the very next day and now it works just like new! I highly recommend his services.

They know what they do. Very responsive, in a couple of minutes they give you the diagnosis, and in one or two days you have your computer fully functional. The best part is that you do not have to go drop off or pick up your computer, they do it for you, if you want. To make it short, it was an amazing experience.

I was so happy to find a place/someone to do repair on my 2011 MacBook Pro. During this global confinement with all non-essential services closed I was completely up the creek. However, I by chance happened upon KSK Computers web listing and I could not have been happier. He fixed my problem (dead videocard) and most of all...picked it up and delivered it back to me within two days. Amazing! Just amazing. i made the mistake of buying a pre-built gaming PC from a US company that i will not name. it stopped working after 3 weeks. it was still under warranty but the company informed me i had to pay all the return and shipping fees. it was an obscene amount of money only for shipping, so i decided to have it checked / repaired locally. i found this fine gentleman on google and he more than delivered. He picked up the tower at my home and in less than 24h he had done his complete diagnosis, repaired the corrupted files and replaced the faulty component. and all of this for the same amount that i would have had to pay on shipping fees only, with no guarantee the pricey tower was gonna arrive intact and with the possibility of more import fees once the item was processed at customs. With this gentleman i had my computer back in less than 24 hours, and he informed me of all the cheap components that the company uses on pre-built gaming PC's to cut corners, so now at least i know exactly where i stand with my PC and i know that the component he replaced is top notch quality. Don't buy electronics from the US, it's a pain to deal with the warranty if something goes wrong. and if something indeed goes wrong, do yourself a favour and call this gentleman, he will not disappoint! 5 stars +++++

My Asus laptop started flashing out of nowhere and wouldn't operate normally. After I made sure everything was backed up, it was picked up and solved (drive replacement, windows reinstallation, fan clean-up) within 24 hours. The owner was incredibly responsive and followed up to make sure everything was ok. I'm thankful I didn't have to relive the stress of waiting and not knowing what's going like I experienced in the past with other repair shops.

I'm extremely happy with the service provided by KSK computers. I brought my Macbook Pro to the Apple store since it wouldn't boot up and they said there was water damage and I would need a new computer (or paying $2100+ in repairs with no guarantee I can keep my data). I wanted to keep the content of my hard drive since I had weeks of unsaved work so I decided to give KSK Computers a try. Like others have stated, their methodology is a bit weird, but I'm glad I trusted them. I brought my laptop to them (he even offered to come pick it up for free) and there is a diagnostic fee payable in cash that ends up being deductible from the final repair cost. About 1 hour later, he already had opened the computer and sent me pictures via text messages of the damages with a quote for the repair. Super fast service! Depending on how you see this, it could seem a bit pricey, but it cost me much less than what Apple wanted to charge me. For a professional service that excels in fixing water damage and making repairs as quickly as them, it's totally worth it in my opinion. The next day, my laptop was fully repaired, cleaned and most importantly, all my data was saved! I would definitely recommend this company for any computer repairs beyond your computer's warranty. After spending 2 hours with Apple support, a trip to the Apple Store and several phone calls to authorized Apple service providers, all of which resulted in no solution, I called KSK and my problem was solved within 4 hours. They came to pick up my MacBook, found the problem in an hour and fixed it that same afternoon. My MacBook is working like new now and I love the pick up and delivery service.

You really get what you pay for. I broke my computer's D/C jack but KSK picked up my computer friday evening and had it fully cleaned and repaired by Saturday Morning. I woke up one day and suddenly my laptop would not turn on. I tried absolutely everything and it just didn't work. I contacted KSK and he was very clear with what steps need to take place. So he came to my house and I gave him the deposit money and he picked up my laptop. He informed me that my SSD was toast. Unfortunately for me, this meant I lost all my data. Backup your data, kids! He offered to install a completely new SSD, one which was both faster and higher storage. It wasn't cheap but it was a great option. He came back to drop off my laptop, I gave him the money and that was that. KSK was able to install my brand new SSD and Windows 10 as well as clean the internals and fans of my laptop. This is something that I'm not able to do myself. So I find this to be very valuable. I highly recommend KSK. Unfortunately I have to dock a star. When I received my laptop back, it would crash a lot and the audio just wasn't the same. After tons and tons of troubleshooting, I finally managed to find the proper drivers that my laptop needed. I needed to go to my specific laptop year's driver page to get the proper drivers. After I did that, my laptop no longer crashed and the audio sounded great. Overall, very good experience and I'm glad KSK could fix my computer! It definitely will cost you some money, but less than getting a new computer. The service will be fast and accurate. If you end up in my scenario, and your drive dies and KSK fixes it, just make extra care that you have the proper drivers. My computer honestly feels brand new now. Thank you KSK! :)

I recommend K S K Computers very strongly if you are in a jam. He saved a computer I thought was as good as dead, after a password screwup locked me out behind BitLocker. K S K picked up my laptop, fixed it, and brought it back to me with my access restored in less than 24 hours. He stayed in touch with me throughout the process. It may seem strange to pay a deposit up front and hand over your computer, but I can vouch that K S K is very skilled and professional and up front about the work he is doing.

I will admit I was a bit skeptical at first because no regular repair service would fix a laptop within less than a day. I was also a little uncomfortable with the upfront cash payment for the diagnosis, but I gave it a try after reading all the glowing reviews - and I was proven wrong! Mr Koneswaran called me a few hours after I gave him my laptop, gave me an estimate for the repair (fair price + the diagnosis payment is deducted from the estimate) and completed it within less than a day. The next morning, he stopped by my place and delivered me the laptop, good as new. There's no way I'd have had such a swift repair anywhere else. I'm very happy with the service!

Fantastic job! Data extraction of my iPod 5 Music. I’ve rarely been happier to part with my money than I was giving it to Konesh. Perhaps as a Covid courtesy he did a pick up within hours of my calling, but even more importantly, completed the job overnight and delivered it back the following day. I did not get to see the offices, but I believe there is advanced technology at KSK that allows very efficient data extraction, providing more sophisticated services than other competitors were able to offer. Very good and very quick service. The price is a little higher than I expected but you get a high quality service in a much quicker timeframe than anywhere else, so you get what you pay for. I asked for a diagnosis of my CPU Fan which wasn't working on Saturday night and he came and picked up the unit Sunday Morning. I am so impressed with the quality of the work and the responsiveness of KSK. When my computer started to malfunction, I was very stressed to think about the impact it would have on my work, especially considering the fact we are in a pandemic. I haven't had good experiences with the quality of work at big stores for things like virus removal, so I tried this local company KSK. He does really amazing work! He replies fast, works fast and is honest which I liked. I had asked him to replace the fan on my old Toshiba laptop as well as fix a crack on the keyboard and clean it. Once he had received the new fan he had ordered, he came to pick up my laptop, did all the work and gave it back literally the next day! He also advised me not to spend anymore money doing repairs on the laptop since it's very old and to buy a new one when it dies. I really appreciated his honesty and will definitely use his services again.

Really the only good thing about having a computer break while you're working is making a new connection with a smart company that will fix your computer THAT DAY, for a very reasonable price. KSK is really the best computer repair experience I've had in 35 years. Extremely easy to work with and super knowledgeable. I even got pick up and delivery. Magic! BestBuy and most others quoted me 3-4 weeks to replace a power supply at nearly the cost of a new machine. I called 10 places and got the Quebec run-around (arrogant, frustrating attitudes, maybe we can fix it maybe not!) - calls that inspired zero confidence. I got KSK on the phone and there was a can-do tone of expertise and when I argued with him ( I was wrong ), he was patient and heard me out. He also made some recommendations about upgrades that would boost performance - but didn't push or up sell - he was just being thorough. While I simply needed my PC fixed, power supply and memory replaced - Im pretty sure KSK could install and maintain an IT set up for a 1000 employee office and build a super computer. Just call this guy. You'll be happy.

I came into Montreal for the 1st time for the Canada day weekend and realized that my HP laptop screen had broken during my drive down from Ontario. I just googled laptop screen repairs and KSK popped with wonderful reviews, I immediately called the number but got no response. I got a call back 30mins later and we spoke about my issues and how i was hoping it could be sorted before i leave on Sunday. Luckily for me he had a screen available so he promised to show up at my hotel downtown which he did within 2hrs and picked it up, fixed it and also delivered it, all within a 4-5hour space. I accidentally damaged my macbook pro 13 with water and I brought it to a repair shop the day after. However, even after 2 weeks, they haven't even looked at the problem because they have only one person who was repairing damaged laptops (they even told me if it takes long the water will damage the macbook more). Then of course I took back my macbook and I was really lucky to found him on google and he fixed my macbook in a week and it is working completely normal.
