Selection is a lot less than it used to be. Store is disorganized. Prices missing on a lot of items. Staff are ghosts who seem to be having a contest who can look the busiest without doing anything. Avoid. Edit: two years later and the store is even worse. 6 people working there and zero asked me if I needed help. Most of them we watching YouTube videos. Selection is even less than before. Almost nothing on display. But they have hover boards. Remember those? Don't go here!

This review is largely based about my experience with covid. During the week is the best time to currently shop as on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's you might find yourself in quite the line. Many of the employees are rather knowledgeable for up front information but I would still recommend you do a little research than to leave it up to their decisions, not that their recommendations are bad but sometimes breaking my budget in my opinion. Some of the other employees are a little *slow* to say the least. They have a very fast stock rate right now so deals on certain items do NOT get updated on their web store so call in advance to see if your local store has it in stock to save yourself a trip. Prices are decent and some of their cyber and black Friday deals are by far my go to in terms of bang per buck. By far the best place in the area for a selection of PC parts, items, and other stuff.

After driving 2 hours to get a few items that were in stock at this location, but that couldn't be shipped. We arrived to make an $800 purchas and simply needed to use the washroom. Apparently not. They told us to go to a pizza pizza or a Tim Hortons... But I wasn't spending $800 at a Tim Hortons... Or a Pizza Pizza... Too bad they said. So then my wife grabbed a shopping cart for the items to bring them to the car. Whoa... Stop they said. You cannot use a cart to bring your items to the car. They cannot leave the store. Seriously? By this point, somewhat in distress I just left to go and find a washroom for my wife, and really debated going back in. If it wasn't for rush hour in Montreal, I would have cut across and gone to Brossard. Oh and as well, they had forgot to apply the discount from the extra points I had accrued from prior purchases. So I asked them to do that,and they said well they would have to refund everything and put it through again, so hopefully my credit limit would tolerate a double purchase... I cannot believe the lack of customer service, perhaps I am old school. But Tim Hortons and Pizza Pizza have to pay to maintain that bathroom... It's not really fair to not be a customer and then go and use their stuff because the business I am spending money at is free riding. The cart policy is non sensical... It just makes me not want to ever purchase from them again. What a joke.

Compared to the one in Montreal downtown, this place have less of a friendly vibe, they have some product that Montreal don't have but it's the same for Montreal that have some that Laval doesn't. I asked for a product, it said it was in stock on their website for Laval's inventory but they said they didn't have it after like searching for not even a minute, they didn't even go to their back store. In Montreal, they would search it for at least 5 minutes and in their back store, if they don't have it, they would propose other items that could do the same thing. The employee that I met looked like he didn't know much about computer parts. I'm giving 3 stars because their store is a bit larger than the one in Montreal.

After such terrible customer service I cancelled the order and decided to go to my local Canada Computers... boy was that a good decision! Not only did I walk out of there with over $2000 in great parts, but I felt good about buying it. Canadian Computers was a good store to deal with,. Now they are the worst in customer service. Bell is much better in comparison. I gave a laptop for repair. Over the course of about five months, they tell me it will cost a certain price, then call me in and say the price has changed and it will cost a higher amount and I have to pay the higher amount,in advance. Then two months pass, to be informed that they cannot get the part. They did offer a full refund, but when I went to collect it, they gave me hard time. The deposit was made on a credit card, that has been cancelled and they refused to accommodate the situation, saying it was illegal to give me cash or debit by bank account. I was dire need of the money because I had to pay another guy, the next day, to fix the laptop. I was asking the person's name in head office and their contact info and was not cooperative at all and she hung up on me

I had a bad motherboard and new I would likely have to get a New CPU. I talked to the manager and apologies I do not remember his name. He told me they had combo that included a new RTX 3090. I was not happy about the amount the combo was or the additional work after this that was needed. I had to replace the liquid cooler, new power supply for new GPU, the ram as well. I want to thank the team who was honest with me about what was going to work and not work. They did a great job, cleaning the inside of the case and got it working much better than it was before. Service at this store is excellent, but if you need customer support and you need to go through the phone service, good luck. The incompetence of both staff and management is UNIMAGINABLE. I recall and still hold all the documentation from a dispute I had over exchanging a motherboard for a different model. I ordered parts for a full build from the Canada Computers website and had the parts meant to be shipped to my place. Instead of arriving to my place, they called me and asked me to drive an hour and a half to the shipping warehouse holding location to pick up the package. Once I retrieved the package, I went straight to their retail store in Laval to exchange the motherboard for a different model. With the shipping box containing all the pieces still UNOPENED, the technician and I took the motherboard out in front of the counter and inspected the pins. He told me everything was good and took the box to the back to have it shipped back to the headquarters elsewhere. They then message me saying they won't be refunding me the cost for the motherboard due to bent pins and it is now my problem. I filed a dispute with Paypal for lack of explanation why the refund was not accepted despite the technician explicitly saying the motherboard is in mint condition, accepted it, sent it out for shipping, and all of suddenly claim that none of this ever happened despite saying that they have "surveillance equipment". And somehow, I'm still wondering why was this part not considered DOA? Do they not care if the part is defective and simply ditch in on customers? Absolutely terrible from the retail store to the website customer online department. This rating couldn't have been possible without the help of the service rep Jackie who dodged every single question, statement, and detail of the situation and somehow spun the situation around by reinforcing the positivity that the refund passed succesfully despite his every attempt at blocking me from exchanging one stupid component. I'll stick to NCIX.

Quick in and out to purchase a KVM switch. I remember when they first opened, they had much better service. Now that they have a client base, I personally feel their service deteroriated. I did multiple tour between rows and could not find a single employee to ask a question.

*Smugglers, beware* Changing my old review which was 5 stars from 4 years ago. Those guys are thieves. I bought over 50k there over the years for both personal and business use. Employees there use GPU shortage to resell themselves for profit instead of filling 3-6 months old back orders paid in full. The store also refuses to price match any item according to Canada Computers policy, even if it is a few bucks. They also do not respect law regarding advertized pricing. If you pickup something identified at 9.99, that should be the price, instead they wanted to charge 15.99$. I did not argue, I don't have that kind of time to waste, but they just do not conform to head office or Canadian laws for that matter... shop elsewhere.

I barely give 5 starts to any store, but this one deserves a huge 5! In early November last year, I started to build my gaming PC since I was tired of PS4 and PS5 were all sold out. I decided to slowly gather all pieces and build a PC before February 2021. On the boxing day I went to the store to buy Processor and Motherboard, however after looking around and talking to a guy I forgot the name I left with full built gaming PC. Not only he provided great service, but helped to gather all the stuff at VERY affordable prices so I just decided to buy everything one shot. If you are rookie in PCs, great place for prices and service who will help you to hit any goal you have.

My one complaint about canada computers is the wait time. You have to either wait at a counter for 20 minutes at minimum to get help, regardless of what the volume of the clientele in the store is, or you have to search around for someone like a crack fiend and once you think that you found an employee you get closer and you realise their taken and you have to continue your search again. However, their product line up is great. So, if you can manage to get the help you need to buy one of the many products they have behind the counter, then you're offered a chance to actually buy your product and walk out. That is, unless they have more than two customers near the cash (with you being one of them). Then you're probably looking at another 10 minutes of waiting. I can't imagine the mayhem of going there on boxing day or black Friday.

I am not really a fan of giving out reviews, but when someone goes above and beyond for me, I let them know. The man in question is someone named "Srish". I must have called every Canada Computers there is within 100KM of Montreal, and no luck. Until I looked online for a 1660 Ti(Which I reserved to go buy at Laval). I come in, mention my reserve and he chats with me a bit, eventually asking why not a 3060? I respond Budget+ none at retail. He informs me if I wait 15-25 minutes in store there's a chance I could snag one on cancelled reservation(he was certain). So he lets me wait, and guess what I did last night? I ignored my girlfriend for 8 hours because I was finally able to use my VR Kit with a graphics card I didn't sell my dog to get.

I do not recommend this store location. The manager and certain employees are not truthful. Customer service is not their priority. They told me I would get reimbursed as per the policy I was told when I bought a broken laptop. They said I would get reimbursed and made me sign the receipt, however they gave me a store credit instead, trying to trick me. When I would phone in to ask for the status after several weeks, I was told multiple times my reimbursement was coming (it was never coming). I eventually had to go to a different store location to get the proper service and finally obtain my reimbursement. That’s when I was told by the other manager elsewhere, the St Martin store actually never proceeded with my reimbursement and simply lied to me instead. Disappointing experience

Went to the Laval store. They were selling a monitor for $1899.99. Newegg.ca had the exact same product, in stock, and free shipping, for $1599.99. I ask for a price match, they refuse without telling me a reason. I go home, and call their main office. I ask why do you have a price match policy if you're not going to respect it. They say that Newegg's price is lower than their cost price. I understand that it sucks to sell a product lower than your cost price but I also understand that you must respect your OWN policies.
