This guy is crazy good and honest. Mac keyboard got a spill about a week ago, went to the Apple store, they told me I should be expected to pay 300$ min without tax. I took my laptop to Jim, gave me a fair estimate. Picked it up today, it costed me half of what Apple was asking and he also cleaned my motherboard for 60$. Really nice guy, honest, reliable and fast service.

Do not give this place your money or your electronics. Absolutely mediocre service, the employee had me wait four hours to change the screen on my phone. When I came to pick it up the screen wasn't even glued to the phone, and parts were missing, for a price of more than 100$ this is unacceptable. I fixed it myself at home after watching some tutorials in around 20 minutes.

It was the best Computer repair service I had ever experienced. Mr Kong was very nice and helpful! My 7 year old computer would not switch on anymore so I left it with Mr Kong to repair it. He did a diagnostic but the motherboard was damaged and as it was a very old model, ordering the part would have cost way too much . Mr Kong suggested for me to get a new computer and sold one to me for a very good deal. He asked why I needed the computer for and presented me with a model that was in good condition and that fitted my exact needs. He set up the computer for me and even installed all the programs I needed and wanted. While he was programming everything, I did not mind waiting because he was very nice to talk to. The service was fast, efficient and personalised so I would highly recommend to anyone with computer issues (especially students as the prices are very reasonable).

My laptop screen's back cover and some steel parts had broken down and the parts were not available in Canada since the laptop was never sold in Canada. Parts were expensive and all the other shops wanted to import new ones. Only Jim agreed to follow an unconventional method (the Indian 'jugaad'). He fixed the laptop without any need to buy the parts. The laptop works perfect now and he did a great job. Turned out to be less then a third of the cost all the other Downtown shops were proposing. He also did it super fast because I needed the laptop urgently.

Went on Feb 3, 2018. My problem was that my touchpad was no longer working. I had tried all kinds of solutions on the web: reinstalling windows, driver uninstall and reintall, pushing FN+F9, nothing worked. Finally, he solved my problem in 1 hour and for a reasonable price. Jim is really nice and very responsive by email. However, when I asked a quote price to replace the screen of my Surface Pro3, he quoted me 370 "all included" but he forgot to mention that he did not include the taxes, I ended up paying 425$. That would be fine if he fixed the issue. When I picked up the laptop there was a huge space between the screen and the core components. When I mentioned it to him, he said "even the original screen was the same, you just did not notice" ; which is obviously not true! I mentioned that the space would cause a problem, but he assured it would be just fine. Not to my surprise the screen broke just when I arrived home. When contacted, Jim that the breakage was a physical damage not included in the 90 day part guarantee! My advice, use KSK Computers. They quoted me a full price 480.00$ which was higher at first glance. But they advised me to buy a used surface, which in hindsight would have been a better option!!

He's definitely knowledgable and skilled at fixing laptops, and service is really quick, but his prices are absurd. $60 for diagnosis + battery reset and then he adds $20 for changing the thermal paste and cleaning the fan. The latter I didn't ask for and I could easily do it myself. While waiting, I walked to another repair shop in the galleries du parc and diagnosis was $35 there. I would have gone there instead.

same thing happened to me as well!!!! I asked for change of screen b/c it was dmg. After it was replaced there was space between monitor and base. After a month or two it broke and he charged me extra $140... I was really surprised that Mamady SEYDI experienced similar thing. I hope this guy is not doing this on purpose?

Well I went to print a paper (single page) the dude printed the page with bad settings that margins took out a part of the text to print, he readjusted the margins, printed again. Charged me $1.5 I asked him why would you charge me for the first page, he was like 'Its not my fault' ... like seriously its not because of the $0.5 its about customer service I would give him 0 stars or negative rating if I can. Next time try to be more customer freindly. Never going back there.

Didn't fix my laptop but charged me 50 dollars for "checking" my device. Trying to charge me more (160$) for "cleaning the mother board" for me and I refused to pay. In the end I went to another repair store where they said there was no fee if the laptop was not repaired. I should not go to this store at the first place. Total waste of time and money. NOT recommended.

If you need data recovered, seriously don't go anywhere else. I needed a lost partition recovered on my external hard-drive, but other places downtown were quoting $900-$1000 and 2-3 weeks to get the job done. I-tech offered speedy, pleasant service and recovered the partition in a few days for a LOT less(only $150). SO grateful, and I would recommend this store to all my friends!

I had a serious boot problem on my laptop. A complicated issue of gpt, mbr ntfs that some other repair shops couldn't help me or wanted to over charge me but he repaired it in less than a day. So I got back my laptop with two fresh windows 7 and 10 properly working. The price was fair.

Maybe that was before my time. But this wonderful good humored man recreates that possibly imaginary past in his Harry Potter-like workshop/store. He is courteous and very helpful, smart, and you will end up buying a much better computer system for far less than any big box or Dell, etc. He knows PC, Mac Pro, even Unix.
