They were able to fix/salvage everything within reason and for very reasonable prices; busy people so don't expect much chit-chat but still much more pleasant than dealing with Best Buy/Future Shop, where they'd charge you 45$ to rearrange the icons on your desktop.

Horrible experience. First of all, tried telling me my motherboard was dead, when it was working perfectly fine when I brought it in. Second of all, charges me $95+tax for a 20min job of simply updating the BIOS. I just needed a Skylake chip to do so. Horrible customer service through the phone, I'm sure as hell not coming back here.

To my delight, I found a decent sales and service, one stop computer store! Prices were very decent and the customer service fantastic! When I got my computer home it was super easy to setup. Just input the WiFi pass code, select which internet source, log into email and that's it! I feel very confident in this service provider to be my go to for all my computer needs! Definitely worthy of a 10+rating! Highly recommendable!

I have purchased 2 pcs there, one a high end gaming unit, it still after 2 years of heavy use works great. I continue to shop at Unison, and I always get the information I want. Currently I am pricing out a new Gaming rig and they have been very helpful. 2 year warranty is nice too!

My go to local store for PC parts. Always have what I need, at the price I expect. What upset's me is the other reviews here, people who don't understand computers and giving lower stars. A power supply unit itself is like 80 bucks, and laptops are tricky things to work with, very time consuming and requiring special parts. Computer repair isn't an exact science, lots of guess work involved, but Unison typically gets the job done.

The people at Unison care about connecting with you and understanding your needs, and communicating with you throughout the process, every step of the way. The service is quick, with impeccable results above and beyond what you would expect, for the right price, and professional (of the real genuine kind). In my case, I have a rare and older but still very powerful laptop I use for work and I was in a terrible rut (as I needed to use it the next morning to travel to do a presentation). After a MS update several problems began (touché), including Office not activating, and the fan running constantly (but only within Win10 and not in Win7) so the machine was shutting down within seconds. It turns out another repairman had done a very poor job at using too little thermal paste and (not) putting back the screws on the heat-traps. Everything hardware-related was fixed within one hour, and on top of that the hinges of the screen were also repaired as a bonus, and so was the back casing (I did not ask for these because it was the least of my concerns at the time), and of course all software issues were looked into and fixed. The machine was given back to me like new. I am never going anywhere else for any computer needs except to Unison. Support this local business, they truly deserve it, and you won’t regret it – you’ll never go anywhere else again, be it for purchasing software or hardware, repairs or anything computer related.

Well 3 laptops in a year an each one worse then the last .If you are going to deal with them make sure you got someone that knows their stuff.An each laptop was paid for with very little in the way of a deal .im not into trashing businesses just stating our experience.

*** RUN AWAY *** I chose to take my computer here because it was close to home and from the reviews seemed ok . was told that the mother board was finished????and will take a couple of days to fix and get the part . Well 1 week goes by then told it will take another week because Canada post screwed up???Then I found out that they don't fix it at thier store they ship it out to Toront to get the board fixed or repaired !!!!!I they don't know till they get it back. and yet they gave me an estimate of $450. without telling me they shipped it out Now all i have is a feeling of getting screwed and still no computer . Will follow up ... ******FOLLOW UP******** WELL i recieved a call saying my computer was ready!!!Great so off I go to pick it up . The gentlemen wanted 450$+tx right off the bat .To which I responded You never mentioned that you had to send out my computer to get it fixed! He respondes "you don't remember or there must have been a misunderstanding"!! I asked where was my computer sent?.He never answered the question refused to tell me only saying that he had a good reputation... Well buddy yes you just had a good reputation of screwing customers with me!!I paid and left. This was 2.5 weeks after . .. i brought the comp in. Like I said ******** RUN AWAY****** since then I have had nothing but problems . I decided to buy another laptop and will never deal with these ......how to put this politely...... ..

Went it for broken laptop, told me yhe thing was fried and was looking at 200$+ to fix. Took it somewhere else turns out it as a software issue and buddy charged me 30$. Went confronted the owner of Digital pretty much laughed in my face but after a compain at the BBB he did send me back the 50$ he had charged me to tell me his lies.

Went to purchase a SATA III cable that I had called about that morning and was told would be put aside. The person I met just gave me one off the shelf even though I told him I called earlier. When I asked him if the cable would fit in my laptop he said no and that he could not help me. He said Fred might know but "he is busy". He just let me with that and I left the store. Will not be back.

It pays to buy from a local independent business. I bought a PC from Fred almost 2 years ago. I had problems, Fred fixed all of my warranty issues related to this initial purchase, and most recently actually replaced my ageing problem computer with a brand new one with a full 2 year warranty! At no charge! You don't see this anymore folks! Buy local, you deal with a "Person" that has your satisfaction and needs at the heart of their business model. When I had a problem, I could, and did call Fred, he and his great service did not disappoint, in fact, he always exceeded my expectations. Dishonest place if i ever seen one. Charged me 50$ to tell me my laptop was broken,wanted to charge me another 60$ to give me the pictures that were in the laptop. Then asked for 195$ to put a new hard drive in since mine was supposedly broken. Brought the laptop at another repair shop, within an hour and for 50$ my laptop was running perfectly. The hard drive wasn't broken what so ever it was all a software issue which they solved within one hour!! Went to confront the owner about it but he didn't want to acknowledge anything i was saying. Dishonest, liars and thefts that's what i feel i dealt with at Unison Digital Systems on Mountain Rd.
