This is my first review ever on Google and it goes out to this great establishment. A brief history of my problem. My phone died and would not hold a charge. It was plagued with a month of ever decreasing battery life. It detected the cord without an issue but I tried a couple more just in case, cleaned my charge port and tried a hard reset without any resolution. I brought it to the Apple Store who told me it was not salvageable and that I needed to replace it and offered me a discount on my iPhone 5. It was the logic board they said. Ash (owner I believe) listened to the problem with my phone and really listened without any assumptions. I left my phone with them and in less than 20 mins I was called by Ash to tell me it was fixed and that it was my battery!

I walked in today to repair my IPHONE 6S which not only had a shattered screen but also had the metal frame compromised - I received amazing service, by far the most competitive price out there and it was really quick and convenient. I dropped my phone off and went off to get some errands done around the area, came back and my phone was in perfect condition. The service is quick and efficient and the worker who took care of my phone was extremely polite. I would definitely recommend coming here for repairs, I will definitely continue to go there if I have any further technical issues.

It’s the worst place I have been in. I leave my laptop for a review. They charged me 60 cad and the person was not professional. After I leave my laptop there it started to be worst then I took it to another place where they discovered that my laptop has been opened and some pieces were stoled. I never approved that they opened my laptop. This was a brand new laptop and since I left it there it has been with a lot of problems . I will NEVER recommend anyone this unprofessional place. I feel very disrespected as a customer.

This review isn't 1 star because I haven't been in the store yet. I phoned this store about unrooting a Samsung phone I bought used. I didn't know it was rooted and was told by Samsung support to contact this store to have a certified tech look at it. The woman who answered the phone certainly was not that, and was quite rude at that. I asked about the unrooting and she said they could do it. I asked for a price and she said anywhere from 45 to 99 dollars. Quite surprised by this, I asked if she would find out for me what the cost might actually be, to which she replied: "Well I don't know, it depends how much work we would have to do". Not very satisfied with this answer, I kindly asked if there were any other stores closer to the Hamilton area, perhaps another TechKnow store. She let me know that she has no idea and that I should ask Samsung because she is not Samsung. Needless to say I will not be coming in for that service, nor will I be coming in for anything else. P.S. I found a place near me that will do it for 30 bucks lol

I told my tab was to be repaired in about 3 hrs, but decided to pick it up the next day. When i came to pick it up, I was told you had the wrong part & had to order it. You could have contacted me & told me the situation, instead I wasted my time getting to the store after work & then finding out I had to wait 2 weeks & another trip to your store. The tech should have let the girl in front aware of what happen & contact the customer.

From my personal experience, I can say that definitely give TechKnow Space a chance! I wasted a lot of money and time with other repair services in the area (Canada Computers, Nerds On Site) and was simply told that I should recycle my computer, forget about my data and get a new computer without even looking at the issue and figuring out whereas the guys at Tech Know Space took the time to diagnose the issue. There was a problem with my GPU and once removed the rest of computer was functioning perfectly! The service was fast, affordable, friendly and would definitely recommend!

I was very impressed by the service at TechKnow Space. The staff are very friendly and really give the impression that they enjoy what they do for a living, and that they genuinely care about repairing your device. I picked up my Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 yesterday, after dropping it off for repair last week. Originally I was looking at $169 for a new screen. The function buttons at the bottom of the screen weren't working, and the screen needed to be replaced as they are integrated into the screen itself and not manufactured as separate parts. Upon further diagnostics they realized that there was simply a problem with the communication between the screen and the motherboard, and not the screen itself. And I was told the repair would now only cost $69! Fantastic! I was so impressed by the fact that they not only found the actual cause of the problem, but that they also informed me of it even though it meant less money for them. They could have easily charged me for the new screen and I would have had no idea. I highly recommend this location, and I will definitely return in future should I ever need to!

Terrible Customer Service! Just Terrible! Very bad attitude. I had to go back a few times for new issues after initial repair. The touch pad on my Mac Book was not clickble after repair. Fnally, I fed up with them and went to Apple Store, problem solved quickly and free of charge! appearmently, a screw was not nailed properly. The technician who handled my computer was very rough with it, he did not care at all. More serious problem is that after they replaced my original Apple Battery, the battery dies very quickly, only last 30-45 minutes. Before TechKnow repair, it can for last two hours. Don't waste your money, go to Apple Store!

We had recently been railroaded by another repair shop, so we were very apprehensive. But this place highly recommended to us, so we took our phone in. and the work was done in a little over an hour, The staff was super polite, and cheerfull, and the price was good (especially for how quick the service is.) ** Reader and Owner Responses Wanted ** After 4-year-old iPad Pro fell off nightstand while charging 3 days ago, the fall damaged the charging port so that it could only charge by applying pressure to the charging cable plug to get good connection, and did get it charged to 35%, while looking for places to go for repair. I drove extra distance 2 days ago to support this local business during pandemic, was in top 5 google search, but forgot to read reviews :( , after receiving courteous professional response on phone before going there, and price $199+tax to repair charging port guaranteed. Owner processed in my iPad to have charging port repaired. I told him I was not sure if there was any other problems, and he assured me his technicians would check it over. Their system notified me about 5pm end of day "Your device has been successfully repaired, tested and is now ready for pickup. Make sure you bring your pickup receipt." I picked it up yesterday, paid $199+tax; the battery charge was at 10%, and it was taped all around for glue to finish setting. After plugging it in yesterday to charge and use, it quickly became evident it was not charging past 10%. I took it back there this morning, and they took it back to check what problem is. Their system notified me about 12:30pm today "We have completed the diagnostics and identified the problem/s with your device. Please call us so we can provide the price and time estimate for your approval." I then called and spoke to owner, he said battery must need replacement, regular $149+tax, will give me $99+tax I told him my feeling the battery has been very good up to falling off nightstand, and should have survived that as well as charging port repair, and could technicians check the charging port repair to ensure no shorts or errors and check battery health in the iPad if still good, he said battery must still need replacement, so I gave go ahead. When I went to pickup today charge was at 75%, and I spoke to owner, asked if the battery was bad why was this not observed and reported when they repaired and tested it 3 days ago. He said they only repaired the charging port during first visit, did not know battery was good or bad. I wanted him to acknowledge they made mistake of not checking battery health or testing battery and not checking if iPad would charge past 10% during first, and returning to me with a bad battery if that was the case, but he refused multiple times So I paid the $99+tax and will see how the iPad works and charges now

In response to owner's response: Continuing to belittle his customers while acting like a victim with no factual basis. This short-tempered man didn't last 10 minutes before proceeding to treat me like a moron and wondering why walked out less than 5 minutes later. Sorry to waste "30 minutes" of your precious time. Tl;dr: Tech-Know space understands how to run a business within the confines of precise technical language, great presentation, and portrayed transparency, until you realize that, like many other device technicians , they are better characterized by a lack of true integrity, and poor customer services masked by a false sense of security at a premium price. Never felt as disrespected by a small business. Longer review: Despite their great presentation, and what I assume to be competent technical work, my experience was still profoundly negative (something that I hoped that premium pricing for this sort of work would at least circumvent). At the very least, I can also attest that the customer service here varied between inconsistent to awful. I was initially greeted twice by a service representative and a technician, who quoted me prices that differed from that when, on a third visit to fix the same phone, what appeared to be a manager (Ash - based on the other reviews? He was more interested in my name than giving his own) spoke to me personally. Next, while this company guarantees a warranty, it may be a bit misleading; the first customer services representative will imply carefully that your query (or symptom, or problem) will be fixed or refunded (not fully, $40 for the overhead on the technician and potentially price of materials, reasonable to say the least), the manager was more precise in technical language and service policy, that an issue only deems worthy for warrantee if it is a failure of the exact same part of your device that was initially fixed. Who is correct? The manager of course, and more than likely he will respond and defend himself carefully, as he has done on all other reviews, to reassure you that this is a business of great integrity. Don't be fooled like I was when I read the same reviews. Despite my loss of a phone (it went from symptomatic but working, to a phone that is now almost completely non-functional), misquote of price on a second phone, and loss of $90 that I was under the impression would be refunded by an initial service representative, I am more taken back by the back-handed insults I was handed by the (manager?). When I began to disagree about the worth of fixing rather than replacing a 2 year old Samsung phone, instead of allowing me my opinion, this person proceeded to insult my knowledge of cell phones in general, in a way to make a sale, akin to bad antagonist flirting. For example, I was told that I was unknowledgeable when I disagreed that a new or used version of my phone would be $200-$300 more expensive via Ebay or Kijiji than his proposed fix (an evaluation of $400-500 on a 2 year old flagship model). I was not born yesterday, I know that is best a distortion of the truth. When I emphasized my dissatisfaction of the services (somehow my logic board failed only after my first battery replacement), and customer services, he began to insult my character, implying that I was one of many "unreasonable customers" that they "lose every day." Very insulting, and especially from a service provider that I understandably paid a premium to for best possible service, e.g. $40 for a diagnostic fee? Please don't respond to my post claiming this is anything but, at best, a technical policy to cover your overhead. It is not a deal at all. $80 + HST to replace a battery? Please don't get upset when I didn't want to pay another $40 at best for a diagnostic only, to $200 for a new logic board on an old phone, when I entered your store with the impression that I would get some money back. I would have rather have gone to a small-time "sketchy" shop for service than made the mistake to pay a premium to avoid many of the complaints that I have today.

I took an iPhone 5 for screen repair which was complete smashed and met the super friendly staff. The guy told me exact price and 45 min. I came back in 45 min and had a brand new looking phone. Thank you soo much guys ! I love this place.

The owner of the business is the rudest person I have met in my life, I am not even exaggerating. Everyone who posted a good review is a part of a scam I went to their store with one problem in my device I left with three other problems, I went to the Apple store later and they mentioned that my device had some pieces broken from the inside. To be fair the staff are decent but the owner is the decision maker and he is a scammer, unprofessional and not fair at all.

Went to get screen replaced on HTC m8, they told me it would be an hour and took almost two hours, but otherwise it was okay... A little pricey two. Body of the phone was lightly damaged when I got it back as well

This place claims to be a Macbook repair shop but I called them to have some work done and was asked to describe the problem. As soon as I mentioned the model of the logic board (which one would think is relevant information) the person on the phone started berating me saying to get to the problem and that the model number didn't tell them anything. If you knew anything about logic boards, you would know that certain models often have the same issues. Will never do business with this place, especially after reading some of these other reviews.

I am very pleased. A little pricey, but their prompt response, professionalism, and the end-result was worth it.

I got water damage with my laptop. At first they told me it would take a week, after one week I did not get any update and I called they said they needed to change some parts so it would take another week, after two weeks I still did not hear from them and I called again and they said should be ready next Tuesday, then I did not get any notice on Tuesday and when I called on Wednesday the receptionist said she did not know the status! So over three weeks for this repair and never notify me regarding any update or postpone. I will never ever go to this store again!!!

i went after i got the price on the computer to replace my oneplus2 screen for $59.99. I travelled all the way to their mississauga location and than the guy looks in the computer and starts telling me the price is wrong and it is $79.99? I told him you have to honor the price that showed me on your website and he goes no it was wrong price! I said you need to give it to me for $59.99, he said $69.99 i just turned around and walked out, Someone who doesn't honor their mistakes, how are you suppose to trust their work

Unfortunately, not a great experience with this company. Took my phone in to try to resolve the WiFi issues, was told that "they are usually very efficient and it would be ready that night or the next day." They called later in the evening saying it was a software issue and would reinstall software and they would call at the end of the day or the next day once the phone was ready. I waited all day the next day with no call, finally when I called towards the end of the day I was told the software was not the problem and they would have to run further diagnostics, good thing I called or I wouldn't have known that either....at this point I asked them to stop the repair and asked to come pick up the phone as I wasn't anticipating it taking that long. The lady told me that was fine and it should be reassembled within an hour...she then called back and said she was sorry but the phone would not be ready within the hour and they would call when it was put back together for pickup....I waited the rest of the evening and most of the next day....without being called. Finally I just decided to go into the store and try to pick up the phone, upon pickup once inserting the sim I did have a call to pickup, however I had no phone to get that message and the other number i provided was not contacted.

I haven't written a review in a long time and am hoping to prevent this from happening to others. I brought my omen laptop here so I could have the battery replaced. It took 8 days to have it delivered because everything gets blamed on COVID these days. He called me to ask permission to go ahead and order the battery and to quote me for the job at $189 minus the $40 deposit I just made. When I went to pick up my laptop the cost was rung up at $219 and I had to remind him of the $40 I already paid to be removed from the cost. I told him what the cost originally was quoted as and we settled on $189 because I couldn't be bothered to argue with him. When I got home, it was not the same laptop at all, it was running completely different from when I dropped it off. It was as slow as molasses and unresponsive, and it said it could't turn the camera on either. A notice I've never seen before. So of course I call them to tell them what's going on and he could not stop talking over top of me when I was politely explaining to him that I did not have these troubles with my laptop BEFORE I dropped it off. It was not this slow before, not even close. I had to ask him to stop talking over top of me, and this guy could not help himself, he just kept talking. I waited for him to stop, so I could start telling him what's wrong, then he had the nerve to tell me that I was repeating myself, which I wasn't, he just had zero interest in hearing anything I had to say. He told me to bring it back to run diagnostics, at a price of course, I'd rather bring it to Staples. This guy is a crook, who runs a business like this? His store is probably a front for something else. Currently using an HP laptop I bought in 2008, it's running faster than this Omen I bought in 2017. It's become unresponsive. Why am I having this issue after I brought it home? Update: I called them back, again. I told him that I am having exactly the same problem before it got fixed, as I am after it got ‘fixed.’ I asked him what he would do if it were his laptop, and if he just spent almost $200 to have it fixed. I got a long winded answer that didn’t even address the question. He still expected me to pay for another diagnostic. Shady and crooked.

Brought my Ipad 4 to get the screen fixed after a heartbreaking smash by my little one. The price was so much more reasonably price than anything Apple could offer and they included an extra year warranty. They fixed in less than 4 hours and it has been working great! Would highly recommend this place.

DO NOT COME HERE This place is an absolute scam, Less than a month ago i walked in to repair my iPhone XS Max, they had told me that the screen needs to be replaced, so me being cautious i asked will the phone be water resistant after? and I was promised that it would be "the same as if apple has fixed it" and i specifically asked if i can use the phone to listen to music in the shower they reassured me that it was just okay and there would be nothing to worry about I was charged $305 which is pretty expensive but i was okay with it. Come less than a month later i take my phone into the shower and mind you its away from the water it turns off and is stuck. I instantly walk back into the store and was greeted by the least professional employee I've ever had to deal with after I explain the situation and show him the receipt he tells me that they would charge my 65 dollars to do a cleaning that has 30% chance of working and most probably would need another repair. after i tell him what i was promised he abruptly tries to kick me out of the store and tells me that there is nothing they would do, unless I paid and whatever i was told was just to sell me the service and i quote "what is said is different than reality" and leaves me and heads to the back. DO NOT GO HERE LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND DO NOT GO

My own experience there to unlock a device is horrible they wanted to charge me $30.00 for factory resting a phone when another company was doing it for free. They also wanted to charge me $60.00 for a factory unlock Where another place charged me $34.00 and they were telling a lady that she had to re-buy a PowerPoint when she really didn’t have too they are trying to scam people into over paying might as well go into square one and you would get a better price then what they were asking for and was quoted an hour so hung around and when asked for the phone back they said “no can’t give it back already started work” went back an hour and a half later like they said and it still wasn’t done went to another place after the rude service and it was done in five minutes there was no reason it should take an hour and also they illegally factory unlock your phone so if you restet it any way then you will have to pay again to get it unlocked again they shouldn’t even be running a store they think people are stupid they are stupid it doesn’t take Two weeks to put power point ona computer.

These guys are absolute lifesavers! I damaged my laptop keyboard in such a way that required the replacement of the entire keyboard. They were able to diagnose and complete repairs in roughly three days time...all while I was able to keep the laptop for use while waiting for parts! Yes, it was a little pricier than was listed on their website but their speed and professionalism was more than worth it. I'll admit to being nervous handing my laptop over to them for repairs based on some previous Google reviews, but fear not! These guys are awesome and I question the validity of a lot of the negativity in their reviews.

This place a is ripoff. Absolutely no sign of customer service. They sat on my phone for 2 hours and then told me to Pay $ 25.00 as my phone is beyond repair. When I told them that why should I pay if you can't repair it the old man so called the technician changed his story amd told me that it will cost me $ 250 to fix it. I can buy a brand new phone in that price. I had to pay $ 25.00 to get my phone back and got it fixed for $ 60.00 frpm a place in Oakville.

In my opinion, The TechKnow Space (around Square One) was comprised of very friendly and knowledgeable people. I truly appreciated the quick service and pleasant interactions from Alicia and the rest of the staff. Out of all places checked, The TechKnow Space seemed to be the most reasonable (regarding pricing) for the repairs that I needed to have done (specifically, a screen change, front camera replacement and mic. cleaning for a Samsung Galaxy S4), and because this place is partnered with Samsung, I like the fact that they use legitimate Samsung parts (as opposed to knockoffs that may not work as well). Further, within an hour, I had my cell phone back and in excellent working condition. The best option for anyone is to keep your cell phone in pristine condition, take safe precautions (including purchasing a hard case and protective glass for screens), but if anything bad does happen, I highly recommend that you check this place out.

Terrible customer service. Been waiting weeks on a fix for a tablet that we were told would be quick. I desperately needed it for work this week so gave them plenty of time to fix it. We called to follow up on the date it was meant to be ready and they said the part hadn't arrived as they had initially ordered it from China with no tracking. Called again a few days later - same response. We were really upset so they ordered the part from a new US supplier and said it would be there no later than the following Tuesday (which was cutting it close to when I needed it, but I had no choice at this stage). Called Tuesday - PART IS STILL NOT THERE. Won't be ready until Friday now. I'm sure it will change again, but either way, it isn't ready for when I needed it. Absolutely no excuse. I will never recommend them, I will never come back, and I will be sure to tell anyone who requires a repair to avoid this place at all costs. Had we taken our business elsewhere, I may actually have a working tablet for the business trip I needed it for.

Recently shattered my iPhone 7+ to a gazillion places and stopped by TechKnow Space litteraly an hour before they closed and they were able to fix my phone back to brand new at such a reasonable price!! I am very happy with my services here and I will for sure be coming back to this place in the future. It’s also just around the corner of square one you wouldn’t be able to miss it ! Techknow Space defrauded me!!! My Samsung S7 charging port was faulty and I was told would take about 3 hrs to fix. I paid a deposit of $45 To pay the balance once fixed. They eventually couldn't fix because my phone screen had a crack and would need replacement for the faulty port to be fixed. This they told me after over 3 hours. And since I wasn't ready to buy a new screen they gave me back my phone unfixed and didn't refund my deposit!!!!

The first time it was ok. The second time the screen wasn't inserted properly, so the screen came out. Which made my phone cracked inside. The third time (which was yesterday Dec 18) my phone is fixed but the phone was acting up (meaning it was hard to touch and it was taking long to load) and know it won't even turn on (it's only a black screen). A couple months ago, the screen on my Apple Watch Series 1 popped off. Called these guys up and was told the battery needs to be replaced which makes perfect sense as the batteries do swell up and pushes the screen away from the casing. They quoted me a great price and fixed it the same day. Yesterday the screen from my mother’s iPhone 4 died. I knew it was the screen because I could make calls to it and it would ring or I’d charge it and I’d hear the charging sound. Called these guys up today due to the great service they provided me last time and they quoted me a great price to replace the screen. Took them literally 30 minutes to replace the screen. Great service and great prices. This is why I keep going back to them.

***AVOID*** THE LONG & SHORT OF IT: they use extremely low-grade glue to repair your device. The glue expands and separates inside your device and will eventually destroy it. MY PHONE ENDED UP WORSE THAN BEFORE I GAVE IT TO THEM TO REPAIR. SEE PICTURES. Dropped my phone and all I needed was a basic screen repair. The job cost $400 and I got it back the next day. Problem is, when I got my phone back, the home screen button was no longer flush. It was completely raised and crooked. (See pic). Brought it back for a second "diagnostic", they "repaired" the damage THEY did, but my phone was never the same. Mind you, there was never an issue with my home button in the first place. The home button was still not flush like it used to be, but NOW my phone battery was draining insanely fast and it started shutting off and then rebooting into backup mode when I'd open up any app. After a couple months of tolerating this erratic behaviour, I finally took my phone out of the protective case after noticing a crack in the corner. To my utter surprise, the glue had completely expanded causing my phone's layers to burst at the seams and the corner to crack. SEE PICTURES. MY PHONE IS AS GOOD AS DEAD. As of now, my experience with TechKnow ended with them demanding I bring my phone in for an unnecessary third "diagnostic" and then hanging up on me when I told them I want to send pictures before I waste my time coming in again. From my experience, they are NOT QUALIFIED to repair anything. ***STAY AWAY***

I have been a customer since ten years now and you are my last bus stop when I need help to service my computer, laptop, tablets and cellphone that other service companies are afraid of handling. I just bought a new Sony Ultra and something happened to it and when I brought it to technow space they found out what happened to my cellphone and repaired it for nothing compared to the prize given by other companies I tried. Guy who greeted me was a total douchebag. There was this poor old lady reading her receipt and the guy told her that she could go now and she said she was just reading her receipt, the guy said that she could go read it outside. I just found that very rude. Also they tell you one thing on the phone and when you go in to the store it's completely different! Plus they don't tell you the price right away and you have to pay $40 upfront yeah NO! honestly it's a complete waste of time! Take my advice and go somewhere else!

After I told them I got ripped off, they thought great easy guy to rip-off. I purchased a MacBook that had water damage already. When I bought it was working fine. The guy who sold it to me ripped me off. I told this story to the son for the owner. They took $75 fee to clean the computer which they told me normally fixes the problem. Three days later they told me that they require a payment of about $600 as the power switches need replacing. It wasn’t worth fixing... I put $800 in to buy it and another $600 would make no sense. So I told them not to proceed. I brought it home and opened the cover thinking I have nothing to loss. It turns out these guys didn’t do anything (cleaning). The fan was still dirty and some dust was still in on the unit. The way they knew that I needed power switches was that the Seller I brought the computer from had someone work done on the MacBook before I bought it and the soldering was obvious. These guys took money from me and did nothing for it. After I told them I got ripped off, they thought great easy guy to rip-off!

First, I'd like to say that you can tell what kind of a business they are just by reading how they respond to the 1-star reviews on this. They do not like to take blame and apologize for their wrongs, but they like to assign blame onto the customer and throw in that they "spent x amount of hours working to repair the item and did not continue to charge for diagnostics although their policies stated that they will". That is your job... to spend x amount of hours fixing these customers' electronics. You are not doing us a favour...... we are paying you. They are constantly putting customers down (seriously, simply read the replies on this thing) and telling the customer they do not understand. That is bullying. That is condescending. Saying "I am sorry you do not understand" to customers is not constructive and does not count as an apology; you are simply ridiculing them for misinterpreting. I also see you ridiculing an individual with poor English. In case you are not up to date with these HISTORICAL laws, immigrants are welcome in Canada and in consideration that English is not this individual's first language, that may be the main reason why their English is not up to par with yours. Another thing you might notice in their responses, they constantly expose PRIVATE CUSTOMER INFORMATION that does not regard the person giving them the 1-star review. They are constantly saying "I cannot find you in our database.... but ____ came in and this and this happened". What company exposes other customers in light of lessening their own guilt and wrong? This company really only cares about growing financially and their reputation. There is just a lot of negativity and pride radiating from the responses from the owner on these posts. *They state that there is a specific "process" they go through in order to diagnose the electronics they receive and have it approved by the customers before proceeding with the repair. In my case, that did not happen. They diagnosed my item and went on with repairing it. Honestly, I would not have wanted my item repaired as it was long overdue their promised duration for the specific item. They claimed that they contacted me on December 26th 2017 informing me my item has been repaired. I can assure you, I did not receive any notification of my completed item until January 3rd 2018. The importance of this is their warning of recycling your item in case you don't pick it up within 30 days. Well... how am I to pick up something you didn't finish fixing? Anyway they did recycle it. They were very inconsistent with their form of communication with me. They claim that they will call you, but they never called me. They sent texts and emails that only reached my junk folder. That makes it very difficult to keep track of the communication between them and myself but luckily, I have it all saved in case they don't. Long story short, I had a terrible experience and highly suggest you reconsider having your item repaired at this place simply because it really is a hit or miss situation. Some people seem to love their experience, I personally did not. They do not treat all customers equally and that has really baffled me on its own. Hands down, one of the worst "customer service oriented" businesses I have ever come across. A lot of their promises are empty promises that cannot be kept. I wish I could say more but I think I've given everyone enough of an insight. Also in case you can't "find my name in the database", it will be under a different name since you refuse to respond to the emails of that name after you got your money. Definitely goes to show this business REALLY cares about their customers. In case you are confused on the matter at hand, do not fret; I have screenshots and receipts and detailed proof of the situation.

They do good work and quickly, however pricing is high. Replacing a screen on a S7 edge costs $339 + tax while Samsung directly does it for $280 + tax. The only reason I couldn't get it done through Samsung was because they don't service phones outside of Canada and mine was from another country.

Almost $400 to fix my screen and took twice as long as quoted. If my phone weren't broken, I'd have done more research and found a better place. Also my front camera is so blurry which tells me they did a bad job installing the new screen. Not worth it. Wont be returning.

I just had my iPhone fixed- the screen was destroyed with ink leakage making it impossible to use. I called ahead and they reassured me it was no problem, and also quotes me HALF of what any other repair store quoted!! It took them about 30 minuted to fix and it feels BRAND NEW! Moreover, there's a waiting room available with popcorn and a computer to browse the net, tons of great cell phone accessories in store, and to boot the owner is sitting at the entrance making sure the service is top notch!! An incredible family run business with EXCELLENT service at an AFFORDABLE price!! I highly recommend bringing all your electronics to TechKnow.... because they KNOW TECH!

Service was fast and efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Update: my daughter's iPhone has been working perfectly so I thought I would bring in my Oneplus One for a battery replacement as well. Things didn't go as smoothly. I had to return the phone because the new battery wasn't charging. Then I started getting signal drops and had to bring the phone in yet again. Apparently the antenna cable was slightly loose and needed to be re-seated. In both cases, it wasn't the tech's fault. He had tested the phone before releasing it back to me and the problems didn't show up in the store. It sucked to have to come back into the store twice but each time the staff was courteous and professional. They stood behind their work and made sure the problem was fully resolved---and didn't charge me a dime for the extra work. Sometimes things happen, but the measure is how you deal with it. For me, Techknowspace has set the bar for service and support.

They say they use "Original" Samsung S7 edge LCD's as replacement screens, had my screen replaced last week. It cracked within 1 week, paid them almost approx 350 CAD (Tax separate) for nothing, ITS A LOSS. FYI I used the last S7 edge and dropped it a zillion times, consequence the LCD inside internally was damaged and the screen went blank, due to which I came to you for a replacement. The old screen never developed 1 single crack, in over 1 year of usage. If you claim your replacement screens are original, how did it crack within a week? It clearly questions the kind of quality and possible sub standard products which were provided. Now that you have not replied to my email, I will be taking this matter up with consumer protection. Never ever visiting you again, and will advice my friends and all in my network to refrain from availing your services. GOOGLE PLS INTRODUCE ZERO STAR RATINGS ''Warranty is void for a physical damage'' but what about the sub standard screen which was provided? The screen would invariably never crack within a week, even if I SMASH it on the floor - I can get a replacement done in Dubai which is my hometown and on my next trip to Toronto (in a few months) will be happy to come down to your store and furnish a demonstration to validate this statement - The original screen will never ever crack - in case of a physical damage the internal LCD will be damaged and the screen may go blank, or visually inconsistent. With regards to the Samsung referal, I regret overlooking on the countless negative reviews listed against your store on google & social media. At least it's a lesson learnt!

Will never deal with the Mississauga location owner again. This is the second time I've used the service. The first time was quiet positive, and I find the employees competent and friendly. However, this second time I dropped off my unit and when I got the text that it was diagnosed I called back. The owner picked up the phone and was in the middle of screaming obscenities. At first I thought it was towards me, but the I realized he was screaming and swearing at one of his employees. He didn't realize I was on the phone. I listened for about five minutes at this guy swearing, berating and demeaning this man at the top of his lungs before he appeared to give the phone to the employee and the employee realized I heard the whole thing. I will never deal with any business who treats their employees that way. I certainly will never deal with this business again, and I genuinely recommend people to look elsewhere for service.

Brought in my tablet to replace the screen and they broke the WiFi module and refused to fix it or even look at it without charging me again so I still have a defective device. Long story short: They mislead me and told me incorrect information about my repair and returned my Laptop to me in worse condition then when I gave it to them blaming me for their mistakes and refusing to give me any compensation. If I could give them a zero I would avoid these guys at all costs. I took my laptop to them because I thought I had a hardware failure with the Video display chip with my Lenovo Y560 Laptop which is a common problem with that model. Few days later get a call to inform me that the laptops hardware is fine the problem is 1 program causing issues and the operating system had some issues and needs to be reinstalled. They quoted me at $99 dollars for the operating system reinstall and $30 for a recovery. I explained back that my Laptop the Lenovo Y560 has a built in secondary hard drive with the operating system there for reinstall so I can do it myself but I would like to know more about the recovery could you explain. Their staff person on the phone replies to me "the recovery will put your laptop back to how it EXACTLY was when you brought it in" I responded with "So it will be EXACTLY how it was when I brought it in minus the 1 program" their staff response "yes EXACTLY how it was minus that one program" I say "ok go ahead that will save me a bunch of time reinstalling and resetting up everything". End of conversation. Couple days later get a phone call laptop is ready. Pick it up it take it home turn it on and to my horror fresh install of windows 7 and a few pictures, music and videos. Everything else gone, several programs had modified files now gone not backed up, Recording and editing software several settings that took hours of trial and error to setup gone. I called them requesting to speak to a manager about a refund told he was in a meeting give them my information told he will called me back. Several hours pass I call back multiple times being told he will call me back. Finally call and the owner Ash answers I explain my situation calmly I never once screamed or yelled at any staff despite wanting to. Manager explains back to me that it is my fault for not asking the correct questions. My 2 questions "please explain what a recovery is?" There response a "recovery is we put your laptop back to EXACTLY how it was" question 2 "EXACTLY how it was minus that 1 and only program" there response "yes EXACTLY how it was minus that 1 program". I tell this to the manger he tells me "when we state exactly how it was we mean operating system and personal files like music, documents, and pictures. It was your fault for not asking about all programs no refund." At this point I did let me frustration out and yelled at the owner and hung up knowing I had been ripped off and would not get any help from them. So in the end I paid $146 for something I could have done myself for free and done a better job backing up everything. The only reason I went with their repair was because I was promised my laptop would be EXACTLY the same as it was when I left it. I will never go back to them for anything ever again. UPDATE: So while reinstalling my software I have now been treated to a Blue screen of Death multiple times, the programs I was trying to install when these crashes occurred were: Direct X, Battle net Client, Windows security Essentials. I am now going to take my Laptop to the Microsoft Store where I have been told they do free diagnostics for windows products. I am hoping they will be able to tell me how to fix what the TechKnow Space broke.

Don’t waste your time or money with Tech Know, they attempted to give me a shoddy screen with bad colours. Whole screen was tinted blue/green. Ended up waiting to put my old cracked screen back on my phone, and was asked to pay a service fee of $40 after waiting and hour and a half for a phone that never got fixed. After refusing to pay I was yelled out of the store. Also saw three other customers coming in one was given the wrong charger back after a laptop repair, another was in for the second time because the shop ordered defective parts twice. Don’t usually leave reviews (good or bad) but the management at this shop is utterly horrible.

I called in to inquire on the diagnostics they ran on my phone, Jay answered very rudely, saying he will not work on the device if I tried to rush him. Thank you to TechKnow Space's technician for repairing my screen. Although it cracked a month later, I appreciate your service. From a business perspective, I am leaving a low rating because I received bad service. I called ahead to book an appointment and was told that I could come in anytime and that the repair would take an hour. When I arrived, the store owner who had taken my call refused service and told me if I wanted a repair I would need to leave my phone overnight. The store owner swore at me and told me he did not want to pay his technician overtime. This treatment sharply contrasts with the video reviews on TechKnow Space's website, where former customers claim that they received good service. For others dealing with a cracked screen, I would recommend going to ifixit.com before giving this store owner your business.

With a bend so bad that the phone resembled a boomerang more than a smartphone, I held out little hope for repair. Their website is false advertising. The have "Microsoft Surface Repair Centre - All Repairs - 4 Hours". Their "Surface Techs" only work weekdays. I brought in my surface pro 5 for batter replacement. 4 hours later they didn't even touch it. 2 Days later, I called asking for an update a 2nd time. Again they haven't even touched it. When I went to pickup my laptop, they refused to Refund the Diagnostics Fees.

I had a Beats Solo 3 wireless only one side works on bluetooth (very common issue), I took them for repair to Techknow, they charge me $45 just for check and diagnostic, I agreed and they were supposed to text me the status and price for repair, that never happened I called them 7 days later and they didn't have an update, once again they told me to wait until that night for a diagnostic text message, once again I never got a txt message or email, 2 days later I called them back and they said the repair would cost $190 because they had to replace a small board, I didn't accept it (ridiculous price for a headphones that new worth $260) I picked them up and one of the technicians told me the problem was the components are too small and the $190 it was basically for labor job. I went back home frustrated and I started to look for tutorials on youtube and i found one that helped me to fix my beats, it's a very common problem due bad and thin wires, it took me less than 2 hours to fix it and $0. When I was repairing them I realized Techknow technicians didn't even look into my headphones, they had the common dirt that devices have on the inside clips. What the rip off!! $45 for keep my headphones sitting somewhere for 9 days!!

I called three other places before hand and all of them were more expensive than here. Overall very good experience and my go to place from now on for electronic problems

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I had a terrible experience at this store. They not only gave me incorrect information about the repairs needed on my phone, but they took way longer than they told me they needed. When I called to check up on my phone, the manager Ash was extremely rude and talking over me, raising his voice and told me if I didn't speak to him politely (even though I was not being rude at all), he would not work on my phone. So I went in to speak to him directly after he hung up on me for calmly asking when my phone would be ready and he continued to be aggressive and had the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I asked him to please give my phone back and for a refund and he refused, told me he was calling the cops and said he would mail the phone out to me. He did call the police so I waited and when the cops arrived, his tone completely changed and told them I was refusing to leave. Another customer was in there and after seeing the treatment I received, he asked for his phone back and said he would take his business elsewhere. I can't even describe how unprofessional, rude and just outright disgusting the manager was. Never again! I would highly recommend choosing any other place to have your devices fixed and to not give this business your money or time. This place is really sucked. I got my Sony Z5 repaired here. They told me to wait for a battery and ok, I waited. First they said 3 days the battery gonna arrived. Then they said 1 week and then 2 weeks. After these long delays, today I was told to wait 2 more weeks so I decided to get back my phone and of course, I lost 40 bucks of checking fee. I will bring to a smaller shop and let see how long will it take. But this is obviously my first and last time with TechKnow space.

I've been given nothing but sub-par service, will not recommend the Mississauga location, nor will I be returning there. Work order #27893, #28016 (which I had 2 of these 28016). I have an HTC One m8. Brought my phone in on Oct 5th 2016 to have it fixed after it had been dropped and the display thereafter being damaged severely but still was useable for 2-3 weeks prior to bringing it in. I had called and been hung up on 3 times before finally trying once more and getting to speak to someone. I was informed that I would be charged $114 to have my display and screen replaced in a mere 90 minutes, fantastic! I come in to the store, have to sign-up which was a little unnecessary IMO but if in the end that /made my experience better/- then hey, that's good, right? Oct 5th I go in quoted at 60 minutes. I wait 3 hours for them to fix my display/screen (replace with a brand new one). Very uninformative in terms of what exactly the issues were that they were having and seemed annoyed at my insistence on waiting for it to be completed the same day. Although I had been quoted at 90 minutes, then 60 minutes. No problem, I'd rather have it done right than wrong. In the end, it didn't make a difference because they still got it wrong. They apparently replaced my micro-usb port for free because it was "faulty" (never once had a problem). They flushed my power button with the body of the phone (was barely click-able) and said that it was like that before- to which I refuted. I was then told to leave it there over night and pick it up tomorrow, which I could not do and quite frankly find appalling. Regardless of if you're closing shop, your engineers messed up my phone, and over-extended the time quote by 3x. Not a word about any compensation or discount. I was forced to pay and sign to take my phone home before it was even fixed. I get home, the speakers are screeching now. Great... I finally get the time to come back on Oct 12th and they take another 2 hours /just/ to fix the button. They tried to get me to sign off on the work order without fixing my speakers. They then told me they were out of stock (they did not inform me prior to taking my work order) and that it would be 2-3 weeks for the part and that I would have to contact THEM. Sorry, what? I could order the part in 1 day from amazon for roughly $10 CAD. I get home, livid to say the least- find out my screen is now once again damaged. When they took apart my phone to fix the button, they lifted the screen off the body. It has white spots, it's not flush or snug with the body which is bad as more pressure can move parts around and cause more damage. I called the store a few days later (so roughly the 15th/16th of Oct), I ask to speak to a manager and inform him about everything. Doesn't seem sympathetic, not much of an apology and says he'll call me back in 15 as his engineer just stepped out. I get called back around 30 minutes later, to surprise surprise- not the manager. So now I'm once again speaking to a representative to whom I did /not/ want to speak to in the first place. Lack luster assurance on everything being fixed ASAP. I contact them around the first week of November to check up on the part for my phone as they have not contacted me once. One of their reps pick up, I try to get into the situation and they are very slow at getting my work order up. Unprofessional in the way that they were putting me on hold, unprofessional in their assurance of what was going to be done. A joke of an ETA- I was told ANOTHER 2-3 weeks to receive their shipment. When I was told this, I was borderline pissed off and asked: "seriously?!?" to which I received the reply of: "seriously.". Fantastic. Now, remember that port they changed? My phone, as of Nov 12th, will NOT charge. Tried resetting the port logic. Tried different cables, charging blocks, devices, wall outlets. So the damage comes from either: 1.Faulty charging port (they put in), 2.Poor repair job they did on the screen to which damaged other parts. 3.Poor re-assembly of the phone which left faulty connections.

So let`s see... I purchased a new Note 5 and it ended up getting the glass cracked on the back. I was told it would be roughly $130 to fix it. I called Samsung directly to which they told me to check out TechKnow as they are affiliated with Samsung. I thought heck let me call and ask. The girl on the line told me to bring the phone in and told me the total cost with an estimated repair time of one hour. When I got there I was greeted by the receptionist who was friendly, she took my info down and was told they don`t have any Silver back glasses in stock and that they would have to order it. They took a deposit and was told to come in the next day via a follow up call to inform me that the correct part came in. I went in after work and got there an hour before they closed. They took it in and started working on it and it took about an hour and 10 mins. They worked a little past closing hours but ensured everything was in working order. I can`t speak for the negative reviews but I would recommend this shop to everyone. Thanks Techknow!

Extremely dissatisfied! HORRIBLE experience I had today with Techknow Space in mississauga near sq one, I was there on 2 days ago and got my htc one x the screen is lifting up and about to fall. I went there today and talked to the girl at the desk. She said that I have to pay extra for this to be fix. I told her why do I have to pay this poor workmanship and quality work is not done , and before you guys installed it you should have informed us that screen cant be fix Resolution: They are not wiling to fix it for free instead asking me again to come and pay fo the mistake they did and their poor technical work. I have to say that these guys at techknow they dont know what they are doing instead of ripping people off. The amount was 135.54 my work order was 17237.. They gave me fake warranty. Do not sign anything. They handed me the warranty knowing that I would have to come back. When I gave my phone, there was no diagnosis. I gave my information the the receptionist and she took it to the back. When they told you to sign papers, it `was` to make sure that no one else steals your phone. but it wasn`t.stupid of me being so trusting. For this price, i expected quality but I did not get any. The moment I got it back..it was the game of which corners will pop up. It`s ridiculous. I can see the dried glue around the side. I had a great experience. I had a pair of broken headphones. They quickly assessed the problem, told me how much it would cost to fix, and then fixed it all in one day. I found the price incredibly reasonable. For the time being, my headphones are working great and the repairs come with a warranty. I know others have had bad experiences based on these ratings, but mine was incredibly positive. I’ve gone to many other repair shops and this was by far the best.

These guys are awesome. I went to other small No name shops in the past to do my screen repair for my iPhone and my phone always broke on any little tap. I went to see these guys and they informed me that I was previously buying a cheap aftermarket screen. My new screen has been working amazing and is super durable. I was caught between a rock - in this case my phone - and a hard place - its warranty. The screen had 'bled' until it had totally blackened. Bells option was to send my phone out for service (one to two weeks) but that would've eliminated all my phones data. The technician suggested I visit TechKnow Space to see if they could retrieve my phone's data before returning to Bell (Square One Mississauga) for warranty service. At TechKnow, they alerted me to the fact that any tampering with my phone would surely void the phones warranty. Their proceedure for retrieving my data would cost approx $140. Or they could fix my phone without losing my data for $280 (taxes) in 1-2 hrs. My phone works, they guarantee their work for 60 days, about a month less than my original warranty. See, a rock and a hard place. But I would definitely use them again.

Very nice place and service was excellent. I had a problem with my computer and those guys fix it very fast. After scanning and giving me estimate, I had to wait couple of days for the specific part which was broken. When they got it, they fix it, tested and at the evening I had my computer at home. I will recommend this facility if you have any problems with computers, cell phones etc.

Samsung told me to bring my phone here. They sent it out to Samsung to get repaired in the end. There service wasn't the greatest. I even had one of the technicians call me a liar. Saying that they didn't put my nano SIM in my S3 without the frame to make it larger. When the receptionist did. So needless to say. I can't recommend place that I left angry.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE TO GET YOU DEVICES REPAIRED!! There's an old guy (presumably the owner) that is very rude and abrupt with customers. I brought a table there to be repaired and I wold to expect an email the following day about the status of the device. About 4pm the following day I called, because I didn't receive that email/text, to follow up on the status of my device. The guy proceeded to be rude on the phone asking me about why I'm calling and if I didn't receive an email I should not call. He also told me that I should check my service provider if it is that I'm not receiving emails or text. At this point I was very confused as to why this guy is so rude. Anyway, he told me to come in an HR for the device and when I arrived at the store I was expressing disappointment at the service I recieved. I told him I was going to leave a Google review for him and his reply was he is not afraid of whatever I have to say on Google. It was the most horrible service I recieved in all my life. He literally had zero concern for customer service. If you know what I know and want to maintain your peaceful day, kindly take your device elsewhere. Take my experienced advice!

I honestly thought my data would have been lost forever. They were able to retrieve my stuff. I have no issues with the service and actually surprised that they were able to help me. The problem I had was that my surface pro 3 died all of a sudden and would not turn on at all. I have called a couple of stores that specifically handle retrieving data but they did not want to deal with mine because it's not worth it for them. However, the people from techknow space reassured me that it will be recovered and they did.

I didn't believe all the -ve reviews & went in this store for a phone repair. Stood there for 10 mins but no one came to the counter to help me. They were 4 employees and all of them were busy answering the store phone. A customer was waiting as well. Some time later the receptionist appears from the back and the lady asks to speak to the manager. The manager comes as well the lady confronts him regarding her phone but he starts threatening her and refuses to return her phone until she pays them a diagnostics fee. Who charges a fee to look at your phone? After a massive argument the lady paid them and left. I left after her as I didn't want to deal with stores which are rude to their clients. Terrible customer service. Please always go to the manufacturer for any sort of repair. Don't trust these small scale retailers with your devices. P.S The apple store is right across the street at square one mall. Also the company has a lot of time on their hands to reply to customer reviews which proves that they have no business or clients. Note to the owner: You cannot charge a person on the basis of a google review. Please get a reality check. If you are so great as you claim then why are there so many -ve reviews about your business.

This place offers exceptional service for an affordable price. I've been here twice over the last 3 years (iPhone 4 screen repair & most recently iPhone 5 battery replacement). They quoted me the standard 1 hour service for the repair to be completed, and it was finished within 20 minutes. As we all know, it's imperative to have our mobile devices working top notch, and we cannot be without them for a week while they are sent in to some unknown location to be repaired. TechKnow space is trustworthy, and you will get your device back the same morning or afternoon - 1 hr for phones and 2 hrs for tablets. They even have a customer lounge area with free wi-fi and a large screen TV for you to use while you wait for your repair to be done. Otherwise, you can leave and come back. Always have had great experiences with TechKnow Space, and will continue to be a customer here in the future! :)

Don't bring your Macbook here - My Macbook wouldn't boot up and so I came here based on the good reviews. I had google my issue ahead of time and pretty much knew that the issue was with a faulty cable connected to the HD. In any case I paid the $40 for the diagnoses, and 2 hours later the technician told me that the issue is with a corrupted OS and wants to reinstall it to my Mac for extra $ AND that it will wipe out everything on my Mac!!! I was horrified and took my laptop back and went to the Mac store (what I should have done first in hindsight). They quickly figured out that my issue WAS with the faulty cable and fixed it quickly, for free, AND WITH ALL MY DATA INTACT. This place might be good for other things, but they definitely do not specialize in Apple products.

Took my iPad in to get the screen repaired. Everything went super smooth till I got home and realized the WiFi antenna was messed up. Called the store back and spoke with Ash. I explained the situation to which he cut me off and said there's absolutely no way they did anything. When I started to explain that this issue wasn't there before getting the screen fixed, he rudely cut me off saying 'I'm not going to argue with you lady. If you want it fixed then you can come in the store and pay for it". His demeaner was really rude. Very unprofessional. Response: I have replaced the screen on this iPad 6 times and each time the other stores never damaged my WiFi antenna. I was hoping to get the same quality of service from your establishment. Had i read your reviews, especially the ones on red flag deals where you have actual true reviews and not hired a company to give you 5 star ratings, I would've spent an hour more in your store testing out EVERYTHING before I had signed the waiver. Even if I can steer away one person from giving you business, I'll be happy.

I came back after complaining that the hdmi port isn’t working, they said I’d have to pay to fix it again. So word of advise, the guarantee they offer you is worthless. We spoke Monday morning, and Monday at 6pm, I received a call that the computer was successfully repaired. I used to come here back in the day with my dad. I had an i-pad screen changed. Very satisfied so far with the end quality of the work. The staff was very courteous and did a good job after an initial hick-up. They put on a black colored screen by mistake instead of a white one. It was already beyond their closing time but they themselves offered to change the screen again by staying open late and without any extra charge. I've been here three times. The last two times, the service was quick and perfect. But my most recent visit was a bit of a gong show highlighted by the fact that my MacBook Pro was left with four screws missing from the bottom case. That on top of the fact that I get the feeling that they rushed the repair. If I have a problem with an out of warranty Mac, I'll be going elsewhere based on that.

Hello there i just writing this to let people know to veru carrfull with this place. I toke my fat ps3 to be repair i had this system since 2008. It had the yellow lights someting very easy to fix.. pay the stupit fee. When i come back after a week the lady there just say to me "we try to fix it but we couldnt do it. We dont know whats wrong with it. " have pay one more fee before they can give my ps3 back.... also the lady there did not want it to give me the paper what they did to it. Soo i juat toke my ps3 to another repair center in london on where im from two hours later my system was good as new. The guy who fix it say and confirme that they really did even open the system to fix it...... in other words dont take anything to be fix here they just want ur money.

Like many of others who have used this service, I myself had a incident where my iPhone 5 was dropped and the screen shattered. I use my phone for work a lot and always need it operational so I used TechKnow Space based on the reviews I read here on Google. I dropped the phone off the next day for their 1hr service. Another thing I also didn't quite appreciate was that they wanted the Pass Code to my phone without me backing up or anything. She joked that no-one would pry in my personal things...just for testing... That's all good and you can be the most trustworthy person in the world and I still wouldn't want to do that. Maybe some people will feel differently. I suggest that you ask your customers to backup their phones before coming for your services or allowing them to back it up there. They were kind enough to let me use their WiFi to recover it after I deleted it. (I did lose some data not having quite a recent backup.) An hour later I had it back! The screen was replaced and working! The service was as said 150$ approx later. I can thank them for that. The only thing I am not really happy about at all is that they damaged the top right corner of my phone. It is now very highly scratched to a point you can see the silver and dents quite visibly. I use a case so it's not so bad but something to consider about their workmanship which was definitely not the best. Especially when that corner has nothing to do with the screen replacement on the iPhone and this I confirmed a few weeks later with many videos on You Tube. At the time the lady told me that it sometimes happens but I don't think she knew herself how they fix them. I need a battery replacement right now and that is how I ended up on finding out how to replace the screens on iPhones and realized that they didn't need to damage my phone so I probably won't be their returning customer.

Terrible service!! They dont know how to speak to customers at all and called my friend a piece of garbage when she called the store to ask them about the whereabouts of her phone. In the middle of the pandemic she has to go 7 days without her phone because of a mistake on their end and the person we spoke to had the audacity to threaten blocking the number she called the store with because we were asking too many questions. This representative does not know how to speak to people and shouldn't be in charge of customer service if he has anger management issues and cant deal with questions about your own business. I will recommend no one to send their electronics for repair here because of their poor service and inability to speak with respect.

They texted me to let me know when they had a repair quote, and again when the work was done. Whatever you do, DO NOT bring anything of value to these people! I recently had a problem with my OnePlus 3T where it had been water damaged. I took it to TechKnow Space to see what they could do after all the positive reviews on Google. They recommended they could clean the phone and assess if the phone would work or could be salvageable with a repair after. I decided to go ahead as they weren't going to repair anything, just clean out any obvious signs of water damage (maybe that would help). They had me read what must have been 10 page disclaimer before I paid (this should have been THE CLEAR SIGNAL THAT I SHOULDN'T have left my phone with these people, but I digress). I call them the next day and they advise that the cleaning of the water damage didn't solve the issue. I was like OK, I gave it a shot. I wasn't expecting a miracle and they did say that it was not guaranteed to work; no big deal. That's the risk I was willing to take. Now before I had brought my phone in, it still had signs of life: 1. When I plugged the phone into the outlet, the phone would vibrate. 2. The screen would come on (showing the OnePlus 3T Android boot screen). 3. The screen would then also show that the battery was being charged and then go off. Suffice to say, some elements of the phone were still functional. So that same day I go into to pickup my phone I noticed a couple of things once I got it back... 1. The rubber that between the glass and the metal housing of the phone was not evening reapplied (part of it was sticking out of the phone and it was obvious). 2. The glass of the phone now had a air bubble that it didn't before (even after the water damage). I'm not sure how this happened, because the screen cover was not removed from what I could see. 3. But most importantly; the phone was now COMPLETELY DEAD. i.e. when I plugged the phone into an outlet it didn't vibrate and the screen didn't come on. No feedback whatsoever from the phone now. So after spending $67 for the cleaning fee, my phone was now MUCH WORSE than when I brought it in. As you can imagine, I wanted to understand why this was. I spoke to the cashier and she said she would get her manager. I waited in the store for 20-30 minutes before the Manager came out. He says to me did you have a question? I said yeah I understood the the cleaning may not have worked, but I wasn't expecting for my phone to be worse than when I brought it in. He looks right in my face and in a condescending manner said "SO WHAT?". I couldn't believe it. I'm sorry, but this is completely UNACCEPTABLE! I get that the cleaning may not have repaired the phone, but for him to come out and give me attitude after my phone was now worse after I HAD PAYED THEM MONEY is beyond ridiculous. I stood there for talking to him for 10 minutes after and he couldn't seem to grasp why I frustrated that my phone was now worse. As if I didn't have the right to ask why this occurred. He just kept referring to their "DISCLAIMER" and saying "IT'S WATER DAMAGED". He even then tried to dispute the fact that the screen would come on after plugging in it because "they didn't check that". This is one of THE WORST experiences I have ever had dealing with any company. If they make your device worse after you've paid them, they will just say "OH THE DISCLAIMER" and will not stand by their work. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere because this company DOES NOT DESERVE IT. I'm so infuriated by this callous attitude that I'm going out of my way to write this negative review on every platform I can find on Google so others don't have to deal with this BS. Unbelievable!

Ever since that experience i have nothing but amazing things to say about this location/company. I have come many times, to look into laptop being fixed, fixing two Samsung broken screens and even to see if I could salvage my old ipod to get fixed. In all those efforts they were professional, told me straight up if it was worth fixing and did their due diligence in fixing it and took their time in doing so. Ive always recommend this location to all my family and friends. Dont waste your time reading the negative reviews of this place. You will always have a pleasant experience there. Originally had it rated as a five but reducing to a three, the first time the service was great, very friendly and did it for cheap, two months later I had to do another battery replace on another phone and I was given two different prices, ended up spending an extra $20 compared to the previous time. The staff this time around was quite unfriendly as well. Edit: Switched down to a rating of one as I am done going here, the staff is getting more and more unfriendly to the point of being rude and the techs are less and less careful with my stuff. My laptop decided to stop working and took it in for a diagnosis, it looked like he pulled the laptop apart with his fingers, the paint was completely scratched up and had dents. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Several months ago I came here to have a tablet fixed as it was not turning on. After a month they called me in saying they could fix it for an additional repair fee of 2000 CAD after a 90CAD diagnostic l which was almost double what I had paid the tablet for. Effectively robbing me of my tablet, at the same time my other laptop had water damage and they claimed to have fixed it but when I opened the laptop up myself they didnt even bother replacing the keyboard or cleaning out any of the water which left stains on underneath the keyboard then charged me 200 CAD. Do not come here, not even to purchase peripherals. They will charge you for an extremely low grade "service", then say you cannot have it fixed no matter who else you go to. Pro tip: I went to another Electronics store and they fixed my laptop water damage for a quarter of a price I paid this shop that scams you.

Ofcourse these guys will deny it and say it was probably broken blah blah blah. They also formatted my device even though they had the unlock pattern/code. Ofcourse they denied it too and said I probably brought it in formatted. I can't wait to read the reply I get, if I get one at all.

I have taken several devices (phones and tablets) to be repaired here and never once has my experience been less than stellar. The rates are very reasonable, cheaper than most I have researched and the quality of work is perfect. Never had issues with anything fixed and never waited more than a couple of hours. After calling the Mississauga location to confirm they could repair my Nexus 5 screen, I dropped off my phone and picked it up - perfectly fixed - in the timeframe they quoted. I can't speak for the negative reviews here. I had a wonderful experience and the rep I dealt with was very polite and professional. I will definitely come here again if I need more work done.

Been to this location twice, once was to replace a battery on a Nexus 6P, and the other time more recently was to replace the screen on my Pixel 2XL. For the battery, it was done quickly and accurately and gave the phone new life. There was a small issue where in the back, one of the panels was still raised, but I was able to press it down no problem! Really happy with that experience back in 2017 For the screen, it was completely shattered, so i asked for a full repair, and albeit quite pricey, it was worth it. Initially however, when they did the repair, about a month after i noticed dust in my front camera lens area, causing pictured to come out overblown with light, and constantly hazy. I also noticed the camera was off center, however i only noticed THIS about 2 and a half months later. When i went back, they did a clean, however it came right back so I went back in to have the screen re-positioned. Initially they told me they didn't have the screens in stock, and to come back when they did. I was nervous in case they were just shoving me aside and giving me the run around, however true to their word, when i went back, someone looked at the phone and fixed it right up and now it's perfect, and has been for months. No dust, no misalignment. Very happy with the service as they were able to fix their initial error and I was never made to feel as if I were lying or implying that I caused the issue myself. Any other phone repairs i cannot do on my own will be done here in the future

I checked online for my parts and was told that there was one in inventory. It was a computer battery for a touch smart Hewlett-Packard laptop. I was approached by an older east Indian man who apologize for not putting on a face mask. He said it would be a few minutes before the service tech could help me. I said I don’t think I need a service tech I just need to purchase the battery and I’m told that you have it in stock online. I waited 15 minutes for the next guy who had several things to do before he could help me. I waited. He went into the stock room and I could see him looking but not finding what he was looking for. He came out and said I am terribly sorry sir we don’t have that in stock. I said well that is not what your inventory control says online. It tells me you have one in stock. He says no I do not sorry. At which point I said listen I drove from Humber Bay West all the way out here to pick this up and you’re telling me you don’t have it. I said, that’s upsetting to say the least and a colossal waste of my time. I will never return to that store. Nor will I purchase anything from TechKnow space. did not appreciate the way he handled it and would not recommend to anyone that they go there. If you’ve got laptop problems go somewhere else. There’s a great place on Lakeshore Blvd., West. The guy is very hands on there. I have no idea how Techknow stays in business with that level of service.

I thought the price quoted was a bit too high to begin with but didn't have the time to shop around, I needed my tablet working. Found out after I could have got the repair done for much less. Great job, fast service but high priced.

Mississauga Location. Got my S4 screen and LCD replaced for $230 after a month the screen cracked in my front pocket. Called before heading into the store to get it replaced based on their 60 day warranty. They said sure stop by the store and they will fix it free. When i got their they said that the screen was user's fault and that it doesn't cover their 60 day warranty. It will cost another $100-250 to replace the screen. Their employees also accused me of dropping my phone and that they don't cover cracked screens when clearly it was a defect glass that can't even last 1-2 months. If you value your hard earned money and your devices do not bring your stuff to this place. They over charge for low quality repalcement parts and they don't stand by their work. Don't be fooled by their "Happy Customers Review" there are better options then going with them. Based on other poor reviews posted here they will try to respond and alleviate this review - You've been warned - Protect your money and your tech devices

Summary: Good place to identify issues, not so good for solving the issue. My advice, go to FixPoint (Maple, ON) to get logic board repairs done on your cell phone. Details: I dropped off my Samsung Galaxy S4 with a boot-loop issue. I told them to email me, as I didn't get a replacement phone. They only sent me texts which I obviously didn't see. Not a big issue as I picked up the phone a couple days after it was ready for pickup. They properly identified the issue as the master logic board, which required replacement, they mentioned it would be too expensive and would mean I'd lose the pictures that I wanted to recover. Not sure if its too expensive, or they don't have the technical know-how (TechDon'tKnow Space?). I asked if they knew of another place that may be able to fix it, and was told the best technicians are here and likely no one else can fix it. I was also told to get a new phone and accept the fact that all the memory on the phone is gone! Well, I found a place that fixed it, at FixPoint, for $100. Seems like a reasonable price, and commute, to get back memories I might have lost!

ZERO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION! Paid to have my phone battery repaired from what I thought was battery issues. Not sure what diagnostics they use, but I picked up my phone to find out it wouldn't charge. My assumption is they don't fully test all of their repairs once completed. Took it back and paid additional services fees for the charging port to be repaired. Since then I've had constant issues with the charging port. And had to bring it back repeatedly. Personally would not recommend this place.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY So this is my second experience with this company/location. After my first encounter, where they took 2 weeks to install a replacement keyboard when they said it was going to take 1 day. I decided to try again. (so i was clearly asking for this/my fault) Dropped off my laptop on Saturday, said it was going to take 2-4hrs to diagnose the issue.and that it was going to cost $40+tax, which would be subtracted from the estimate after.. i brought the laptop in at 11am... 5pm still no response, so i called them. they said they needed the laptop for another 2 days, and would reach out on monday... Monday at 5pm still hadn't heard from them, i called, they said they would get back to me 2pm Tuesday. On tuesday i get an email saying they can't perform any tasks b/c there's no password.... the computer was completely reset and didn't require a password... and what were you doing for the past 4 days that you had my laptop??? They say okay, we'll get back to you after the diagnosis.... wednesday/thursday go by, no response. I call back friday and ask for updates, at which time they say they can't even diagnosis the laptop, and will refund the money. I go today to pick up the laptop, buddy says he can only refund me $40 cash... even though i paid $40+tax... i said why can't you refund the entire amount/tax? That doesn't make sense. He hands me the correct amount back, and just walks away, and doesn't say anything. Literally just puts the money down and walks away. Don't be fooled, they pretend to be professional and knowledgeable, but it's obvious that they're only able to repair anything that is associated with a youtube DIY video.

My laptop won't turn on so I bring it in and I pay for a diagnostic to be done on Saturday Oct10.That afternoon I received a text to call.I did and was told the problem and it would cost$69 after my diagnostic fee was subtracted. I told them to go ahead and fix and he said I should hear back from them the following Monday by text, that it's fixed and when to pick up. I hear nothing on Monday, nothing on Tuesday so I decide to call and follow up.The phone number on their business card goes to a fax machine, can't reach anyone.Try calling on Wednesday,fax machine, Thursday fax machine, finally on Friday I reach someone. He tells me that someone contacted me last Sat Oct10, the same day I dropped it off, to inform me that my laptop was fixed.I told him the only text and email that I got was for my diagnostic results and he argues that a text and email was sent telling me that it's fixed and most people receive these messages and don't realize it.Basically telling me I don't know how to check my own messages and texts. So he tells me it's fixed and I can pick up.I go in on Saturday Oct17 to pick it up,they open at 10 am,there's a line up outside of 3 people at 10:10 am, they can't even open on time. Go inside ,my turn comes up and the guy takes me over to pay , I turn on my laptop to check it,and guess what,it doesn't turn on.Same problem it had when I brought it in.It wasn't even looked at but im told after a week it's fixed, what a joke. Guy says sorry bout that,now I will look at it and we will give you a discount.So I said you will call me personally,he said yes.No phone call that Sat,No phone call Monday,no phone call Tuesday,no phone call Wednesday Oct21. Finally no phone call on Thursday, but I get a text telling me to call in because now a second diagnostic test is done,that's 4 days later after it was supposedly fixed. I call in and now he's telling me that it's another problem and won't cost me $69 I was told after first diagnostic,but now $390. I was not impressed, I asked about a discount and after all this place has put me through,he offered $30. I laughed and told him I will be in in Saturday Oct24 today and take my laptop back and will be bringing it to Best Buy to fix. Sorry for such a long review but wanted all to have a complete picture of this useless repair shop. Wasted 2 weeks of my time, laptop not fixed.Two different costs to fix. I am surprised a place like that can exist in Canada. When I first entered, i was surprised to see two receptionists at a tech repair shop. BUT WHEN I MET THE OWNER, it all made sense. The owner looks like a crazy person from a movie, and is actually just that. Extremely rude and loud, doesn't listen, cannot communicate. If he wasn't an old man I would have broken his jaw. My MSI laptop was sent there by NCIX for repair, took them 3 months to fix it. When I finally got it back, my laptop had thermal paste everywhere, on the keyboard, the chassis and the display but whatever I can clean that up. But what pisses me off mostly is that they didn't bother to secure my hard drive properly, it's missing 2 screws. So if I do any slight movements, the hard drive gets disconnected. They also broke the plastic covers that hide the hinges for the screen, I'm not happy about that. Even though they were able to fix my laptop, I'm not happy about how they worked on it.

Would not recommend coming here if time is a constraint. Came in over a week ago to have my mac screen replaced - they said it'll take 5 days but they would try to expedite the process. I was hopeful I'd receive a call within 5 business days. On the 5th day when I called, the customer service representative and they said it's not ready and would take another week and a half (at the latest) to get the screen in stock and then 5 more days to have the screen replaced. What perplexes me is that there was no communication from their part to inform me that the screen wasn't in stock. Had I not called to check in, I would have never known that it was going to be a 3 week process to have a screen replaced. There was no apology for the lack of communication from the representative on the phone or the sales associate in store when I went to pick the computer. Very poor customer service.

FANTASTIC customer service. My laptop screen gave up the ghost at 7.50pm and I had a presentation the next day. I called the Mississauga store (thinking it was the downtown one) and they were super helpful - checked if they had the right screen in stock downtown and called to make sure they stayed open until I could get there. The guys on Front St stayed open and fixed the screen in 20 mins. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough.

Avoid this place, I went here to fix my older budget work laptop, which wasn't turning on and after a two day long 45 dollar diagnostic, they said it would be 400 dollars to fix it!!! I told them that I will not continue with the repair, but asked for the results of the diagnostics test. But the staff were very rude and condescending, and they would not give me the results unless i paid 25 dollars, cash only. I didn't have any cash on me and they were clearly taking advantage of the situation, so I left and cancelled the original 45 dollar credit card payment. This was a big waste of time and left a sour taste in my mouth.

2 weeks ago I had the worst experience ever losing all my data when they repaired my laptop and even worst was a receptionist called Ash yelling at me in a very rude way. I posted here what happened. Next morning the manager Nick called offering to do his best to retrieve the lost data. Hopelessly I gave him the laptop. He spent 2 weeks working and miraculously succeeded ???????????? .... best of all he is such a gentleman and professional. Problems happen but important is do we face and solve them or wash our hands. THANKS A MILLION NICK . this will be my place for any future repairs but will avoid dealing with Ash.

I dropep my laptop there cause it was showing battery not detected , their diagnostic was batter has to be replaced, I spent ~200$ to get a new battery and have it installed, after few days same issue and when I was able to came back from out if country but still within battery warranty I dropped again laptop a new diagnostic came with a circuit failure and fixing it would cost 240$ more, I told them that the real problem was the first diagnostic was done wrong and the battery was not the problem in that time but they refused to recognize that and still asked me to pay those 240 to get fixed, of course I refused and was asked to pay 40$ tfor the second diagnostic in order to pick up the laptop, so I was cheated and lost a lot of money without having the issue fixed. Avoid them and find a better place where really take of customers

Just read the other reviews and you’ll notice how often these incompetent people are damaging peoples wifi when they go in for a screen repair. To top it off, they don’t acknowledge and own up to this damage and claim that oh we only replaced the screen. Well guess what, you damn well know that you touched the wifi cables / antenna and whatnot when you went in for the screen and caused this damage yourself. They have absolutely no integrity whatsoever. Blatant liars and scammers is what they are. Don’t let them within a mile of your devices. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! P.S. 5 stars, here's why: I took my out-of-warranty Sony Xperia to bell where I got it to have the battery changed, they sent it away to their repair facility and said it may take up to 2 weeks! I got it back 12 days later unrepaired, they said it was defective charging port and was "beyond equitable repair" without even telling me how much it would've been. Not believing them, I brought it to TechKnow Space and they told me it was only the battery, they changed it in 2-3 hours just like they said and the price was very reasonable, I even looked up the price of the parts online. The phone works perfectly now. Thank you! 5 stars.

If I can give it negative stars I definitely would! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! I brought it in at 4pm they close at 6pm. They said they’ll call in an hour to let me know the problem with my phone and I did not receive a call! So I called them the last 30 minutes before closing but they didn’t answer my calls! And they also took 40$ upfront. Next day I called they blamed me for taking it in 2 hours before closing but the day before they said they would get back to me in an hour. They are super unprofessional and a scam. I ended up coming in the next day and wanted to take my phone back because I was leaving the city because it was advertised that the phone would be fixed within the hour or 2. So I had waited for about 30 minutes in the store to know that they had took my phone apart and gave it back to me with my phone screen lifting up! Terrible sham business, if you need a small phone repair maybe visit them but regarding computers they are terrible.. with computers, they work like mechanics at Canadian tire. No repair work just cheap replacement work with corners cut everywhere possible. They are lazy, rude and arrogant regarding repairs and even their own mistakes--for instance returning a computer missing half the screws for the encasing. Two days to run diagnostics is shameful. Very poor service. They have an extremely bad attitude towards customers. Went to get iphone screen replaced. They did not fix it properly. When it was pointed out, they and refuse to acknowledge the issue. And the person at the counter instead of adressing the issue started giving ultimatums to take the phone or pay them $40 to put back the old damaged screen. He then ignored us and walked off inside telling us to call a number to address our issue . When the number was called another guy came displaying major attitude. A terrible experience dealing with these people . Would never go back there and not recommend them to anyone.

It took five seconds or less for the technicians at TechKnow Space to help me with an issue that Bell Customer Service, Samsung Customer Service and Samsung Service Centre could not solve! I had a pop-up on my phone and tablet and was not sure if it was a legitimate update or a virus as I had never seen this message before. I called Bell wanting to know if it was okay, or not, to go ahead and start this update. The representative could not help me and directed me to Samsung Customer Service. I called Samsung Customer Service, and after hearing about my issue the representative tried (but failed) to remove the pop-up on my phone. I was then told I should go into a Bell store for assistance. I went into a Bell store and was informed that it could be a virus, however I needed to go to a Samsung Service Centre instead for assistance. I went to the Samsung Service Centre and after asking about warranty, and without looking at my phone or tablet I was told that they could not help me. I was informed that I had to reset my phone to factory settings and was then given a sheet of paper with instructions on how to "back-up" the information on my phone. After all this "run around" I decided to go to TechKnow Space for help. The technicians looked at my phone for five seconds or less and I was informed that it was not a virus! Unbelievable! Thanks again TechKnow Space!

It was a horrible experience. Not only did I have to come to your store five times to finally find out what happened to my phone, but I was lied to about what was done to my phone. I was told my charger was damaged, told to buy a new one and then it turned out that nothing was wrong with my charger. Finally, after calling your workers on their lie, they admitted and looked at my phone again. I was told they recovered the operating system when they in fact did nothing. In the end (after several trips) it turns out that what was wrong with my phone was something too expensive to fix and I was never asked if I did not mind paying for fixing it. I think I was just brushed out of your store and in fact this is what would happen to me as your customer. Go somewhere else. So much for fairness and trust!

I went to TechKnow space to replace an aging battery for a Samsung phone. One star review for two reasons 1) very rude and unpleasant customer service experience with an older gentleman at the store 2) use of poor quality, non-OEM Samsung phone batteries which made the battery life even worse than the original battery and resulted in the phone charge dropping from 100% to 10% in half an hour and sometimes the phone randomly shutting down when fully charged. Moral of the story: going forward I would only go to a Samsung-authorized repair store which has access to original Samsung batteries and diagnostic equipment. Such repair stores are easy to find via samsung.com. More details of my experience below. I had to go to the store 3 times – the first time I replaced the battery and realized battery life is worse than before (accubattery app was showing the new battery capacity was at ~70% - the same as my original 3 year old battery), the second time I came and the battery was swapped for a different one. After the second time, the battery would drop from full to 10% and the phone would randomly shutdown/restart. I come in the third time and ask to replace the battery again and also to check if there is anything else loose or broken inside the phone. I was then asked to provide my phone password which I thought was strange as that was not requested the first 2 times. I was asking for an explanation why all of a sudden a phone password is required and the older gentleman became visibly angry and started raising his voice and using language such as “we do not need you as a customer”, “there is no warranty if you do not provide password”, “you can take us to court”. I thought the situation escalated unnecessarily quickly as I just wanted to understand why there is a change in policy. I have never received such rude customer service in my recent memory. It was then explained to me the reason for the password is to run software diagnostics on the phone which is a plausible reason as I suspected there is a loose connection/motherboard issue with the phone. I do wonder though what kind of diagnostic equipment TechKnow space uses as I believe they do not have access to Samsung OEM components and tools as they are not Samsung-authorized repair shop. After having received such a horrid customer service, I went on samsung.com and booked a service appointment at a Samsung-authorized repair store. Interestingly, the price was about the same (~$110) but the Samsung repair store told me the battery that was used by TechKnow space is 1) not Samsung original / OEM and had a scratched-out manufacture date (see pictures attached) 2) was not properly glued inside the phone and was smaller size than original. The Samsung store also did require a password to run diagnostic but at least they are a Samsung authorized store and have access to proprietary Samsung diagnostic tool (which ran successfully). They also politely explained to me that if I did not feel comfortable with giving password I could 1) back it up and reset the phone 2) remove the password. The brand new Samsung battery is now showing 99% capacity (much better than my original 3 year old battery) and is working flawlessly (see pictures attached). The Samsung authorized store also suspected that the TechKnow space battery was probably a refurbished/recycled battery as the manufacture date was scratched out and it looked used/body was scratched. I am appalled that TechKnow space and a Samsung-authorized store charge the same price while TechKnow space provides a vastly inferior customer service and quality of the components.

This repair and supply shop located next to Square One shopping centre did great work on my phone yesterday. They fix all brands of phones while you wait, iPads in a couple of hours and laptops in 24h. The technician changed my crashed glass screen within less than an hour. In addition, Micah, the front store manager, gave me a FREE GLASS SCREEN PROTECTOR for which the shop normally charges $30 plus installation fees. My iPhone works great and looks like brand new now. What a good feeling thanks to TechKnow Space ! Thanks a million guys.

Purchased an AC adapter, I came home with it and realized that it didn't hold a charge to my laptop. So the following day I decided to bring it back to the store to do a return, was told by a front service rep that I needed to have my laptop present in order to proceed with the return. I thought this was odd, but I complied and drove home and brought my laptop with me. The front service rep then tested it and it was then proven that what was sold to me initially was faulty. She then runs to the back to grab another AC adapter and plugs it in. This one works. Keep in mind, I was there for a refund, I did not want a replacement for fear that it may be faulty again. I thought it would be in my best interest to go through the manufacturer instead. I explained this to the rep and she tells me there would be a restocking fee of 15%. I asked for an explanation as to why. She said it was policy and that I was supposed to initially bring in my laptop to see what plugs were compatible. I told her that was not explained to me the first time and that I should not be penalized for such. She again offered a replacement AC or the refund with a 15% restock fee. I asked to speak with her manager. She asked that I sit in the lounge and wait, which I did for about 15 minutes. She came back again (w/o the manager) and rehashed what was discussed. I told her this was a waste of time, her relaying what the manager told her. And again I asked that I speak direct to the manager. It took another 15 minutes or so, the manager came out. The overall conversation was condescending and anytime a question was asked I was cut off. He told me that it was my responsibility to read about their policy and that I probably did when I checked their website. I asked him why is it the responsibility of the client and not his employees to fully explain the policy of the transaction in order to avoid these situations? He then explained that it cost his business money to do a full refund when transactions are done on credit. Why is that my concern? He asked why I didn't want the replacement. I explained. He said he can then give me a 30% restocking fee. I told him that his employee quoted me at 15%. I decided to take the restocking fee because this was going no where very quickly. There were no apologies for what perhaps was a miscommunication over the initial transaction. Instead I was met with condescension and while trying to explain the situation was being constantly interrupted. It seems that customer service isn't a forte. When customer service lacks so does customer retention and loyalty. This will be the last time I ever spend my money with Techknow. TL; DR; Sold a faulty AC adapter, went to return it. Was given the run around by an employee. Asked to speak with management. Waited nearly 30 minutes due to 'staff meeting'. Given run around by manager. Manager offered me a 30% restocking fee even though I was quoted at 15% by an employee.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. I was quoted with an estimate for the disc drive for my ps4 to be replaced and was also told it was an extra $20 to clean the ps4 cause it was dirty. I said fine, thinking I’ll pay the extra $20 for it to be cleaned. I’m not expecting it to be polished and brand new looking, but me not to see any dust at all by the air vents or any of the ports where you plug into. $20 clean. Nope, there was still dust. So I asked why am I being charged $20 more to get it cleaned. They said because it was dirty inside and for them to replace the disc player it needed to be clean. So why is there an extra $20 charge if it’s already part of the procedure for it to be clean in order to replace the disc drive. If you’re charging an extra $20 for a cleaning, it better be clean. If you’re going to charge $20 just to clean around the small area you are going to change the disc drive, for one that’s too expensive (I would of went somewhere else), and two it should already been in the price of the repair instead of charged as an additional fee.

I went to the Mississauga location for the first time today with a cell phone problem. Nick was the individual who assisted me and he did so most capably! He took the time to listen to my issue carefully (with a most sympathetic ear!!) and then, explained all the possible outcomes before a work order was produced. Nick answered all my questions clearly and with patience to make sure that I understood what was said and then, he set up a work order. This took place late afternoon on Sunday and I was expecting to hear from Nick on Monday morning but, in fact, I received a phone call a little more than an hour later to advise me that my cell had been attended to and was now in full working order. I was extremely pleased with the speedy service and was impressed with the excellent attention given to me by Nick. I will certainly "spread the word" about your shop. They told me they had a part in stock, quoted me a set fee, and could do it for a 2 hour turnaround to get me in the door. My friend showed up with the laptop, and voila - no part in stock, needed to charge a diagnostic fee, and likely a 1 day turnaround. Hugely disappointed. I had confirmed this with them twice on the phone. Again, take your business elsewhere.

Let me tell you about the worst computer store in Mississauga. I needed my Asus laptop repaired for some damage I had caused. I was covered by a third party warranty so I wasn't worried too much about price. Beginning of November I give them my laptop and pay the diagnostic fee. I need a replacement LCD screen and a bottom cover replacement. The guy who's name I won't say tells me the screen will take 2 weeks and the bottom cover, 4, to receive after ordering. 2 weeks later they take my laptop and replace the screen. A few days later, after I put my laptop in my backpack, I notice there is a condensation/air bubble underneath the screen (see attached pictures below). I take it back for them to replace it again. 5 weeks after the initial visit, I call up the store. The guy who works there tells me it will be 6 weeks. I ask why didn't he tell me this before? He apologizes and tells me it usually doesn't take this long, it's the Christmas rush with shipping and all that. I call up multiple times afterwards and it doesn't show. He says that they didn't put a tracking number on the item because it would have been expensive to do and would have passed it on to the customer. I told he should have told me, I'm not paying for this, the warranty is, and I told him this multiple times. More apologizes. It wasn't until the first week of January that the part comes in, 9 weeks after I order it, 2 days before me warranty expires and a week after I threaten to cancel the order. Around the same time, the glue that they used the first time to repair the laptop LCD starts coming off again! I'm not using the computer in places other inside so it shouldn't be happening. In addition, Tech Know Space sold me a 3rd party adapter that broke on me 3 times and caused my touchpad to go haywire. I know this because when I ordered an original adapter, the problem went away. 3 months after I got the repair, I'm now noticing cracks in the glue where they glued the LCD screen. These guys are the freaking worst at actually repairing my computer. This is an updated review as I haven't had time to write a full one before. The owner previously responded to this asking me why I was upset with the repair service regarding the phone I dropped off... I never sent in a phone!! Come on man! You guys are a joke. I recorded my interactions with one of the sales people, but I also got a new phone. If I can find it I'll post it.

I don't normally go out of my way to write a review. However, TechKnow space has left me with a very bad experience because of their misrepresentation and fraud. They falsely advertised a "one hour" repair time frame. When I came back after TWO and a half hours they did not even begin to examine my phone. When I asked them to return my phone and told them I no longer require their service the young lady went to speak to the technician and informed me that my phone has been dismantled and it will cost $450 to replace a faulty logic board. That was an absurd assessment because it was only the home key that was faulty because of trapped dirt in that space because of the disinfectant i have been using to clean the phone. I asked them to reassemble my phone and when they eventually reassembled it, the home key was working because the dirt got dislodged and they charged me $160 dollars. The young girls at the front desk spoke nicely but they are a front for very unscrupulous people. I do not mind paying the money but it is the misleading and out right fraud that bothers me.

Buyer Beware! I took my cell phone there because I had one drop of water that dried on the inside of the camera lens. They charged me for a new camera installed - but didn't bother to clean the lens! Cell phone still doesn't take clear photos. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere as the technician refused to look at my cell phone a second time. Pretty low on customer satisfaction!

I was there to repair my smart watch battery. They did a very poor quality job replacing it for 70 dollars. A few months later, the glue came off with nearly no wearing. They charged me 30 dollars to glue is back on for the poor job they did the first place. Terrible service.

Absolutely worst experience ever. A simple screen replacement for a Moto G phone, they said they had the screen, they said come back in 1 1/2 hours. While I was gone, they tried to put the wrong screen on my phone, failed, called me on my phone (hello that they had my phone in their hands) to tell me that it would take 10 days to fix. As I didn't get that message, I returned, they told me in person, I said forget it. They said give us a minute, we'll put the old screen back on - completely busted now (not just cracked), mangled beyond repair - and they also managed to now bust the led feeds, which means that the phone is useless. And then they charged with $25 for their time. NEVER EVER will I use or recommend this place to anyone.

This place has a horrible employee, an old Indian employee. I went there to get my phone's cracked back-glass fixed. The old man told me a price. I was wondering if that price could be lower. The old man said no but he could give me a front-glass protector. He also added that they didn't have back-glass protector film. Then his phone rang and he talked with a customer on the phone for about five minutes without saying any "excuse me for a while". During his absence, I was browsing some phone cases. When he came back, I asked him that if a case priced at 19.99CAD could be sold cheaper. He said he could sell that one to me at 13.99CAD. Then he gave me a form to fill and insist me to give him my phone's password, albeit it was just a glass replacement. After I filled the form, I mentioned about the front-glass protector he promised earlier. I think he probably thinks a 5CAD discount on a case is a better deal for him. Therefore, he changed his mind and pretended that he never made such a free protector offer. One of the essential merit for business is honest. His "clever" instantly made me not trust him and despise him. Imagine that you have to give your phone and password to this sneaky and deceptive old man. He told me, "I have explained it to you four times", gesturing his four fingers and in an angry and impatient tone. Then he said do you want to cancel the work. I said yes. He said "you are wasting my time". Then I tried to take the paper I just filled, since my password was on that. The old man grabbed it and shouted at me this was their property ( a printed paper just with my password and signature on it). I said but my password was there. He said then reset your password. That old Indian employee or maybe the owner is the most rude, sneaky, bad temper, not honest serviceman I have even seen.

As promised they did the repairs in 1 hour, and now both of the issues that my phone once had are completely fixed. My phone feels just like new. This place is a JOKE. It is the worst experience I ever had, and complete waste of my money. When they promise you the next day, DO NOT believe them. We dropped off the phone on a Friday and didn’t get it back until MONDAY. No one bothered to give us a courtesy call, I had to call and also walk in to check on it and all she said was “just wait for our call”. When we finally got it back, we still had the same issue and went back the next day. They said they would just keep it for a day so they can do a factory reset, and did I call the next day? NOPE. Had to walk in and ask for it. I wouldn’t go back even if they pay me. They don’t even apologize for anything. I also find it hilarious that the replies the bad reviews get here by the owner claims that they’re not in their system or they reviewed the wrong company. Don’t go here.

Have no complains about the technical side of the service - the issue with my laptop not starting was solved fast. But the amount charged feels like a rip off - $79 + tax = $90 for reconnecting a wire. This type of issues would take a good tech 10-15 minutes to fix. Some businesses will charge you accordingly or won't charge at all. But some will charge full price they are allowed - the amount I paid was exactly the minimum they didn't need my authorization for. Will not go there again after warranty expires and to anyone with seemingly small issue - be aware!

Absolutely amazing service here. Dropped my phone in water and it was stuck rebooting constantly. Service was fast and they were quick to update me on the repair progress via SMS. Part way through the repair they needed my password for testing purposes, and they were very patient and understanding when I voiced my concerns over privacy. We resolved for me to come in to set up passwords on my apps. The repair workers have good experience and are fast at what they do. Once I got my phone back the finger print scanner didn't work but after checking in with them again, they immediately knew the cause of the problem once they saw the make of my phone. Was relived to get such a quick fix from a company with experience. The base fee for cleaning after water damage was $60 while the extra fee for repairing some damaged components was $249. The base fee is 60 while there may be a second repair fee depending on how damaged your phone is, so I highly recommend taking your phone in immediately if exposed to water! Not worth the gamble waiting to see if it survies!!!!

Absolutely horrendeus customer service and attitude. They were all happy when we went for quote for the screen repair for our new iphone8. Was given a quote of 129$ and 40$ diagnostic fee. However suddenly we get a call saying it $149 for the screen. We promptly went back and asked for our device back. To this they owner went on not just wasting our time, but giving excuses to return our own device (even when we rejected their service) yelled and wanted us out of the stores. Filing an official police complaint. Stay away from these crooks. And more likely they have fake parts. Stay away! UPDATE TO REPLY: Well how does giving a false quotation count as customers fault! And how does not giving the customer back their OWN device not count to illegal activity? You guys are absolutely crooks operating by fake reviews. Please do not go here. They told me they can replace my battery within a few hours and that the battery is in stock. A day later they tell me they don't have the battery in stock and have to order it (it'll take 4 weeks). I couldn't wait that long and said I won't get the battery replaced. They told me I have to pay $40 for diagnostics. But they never did diagnostics (I told them exactly what I needed: a battery replacement). They also didn't even open my device, so how can they charge for diagnostics they didn't complete? They wouldn't return my device until I paid for a service I didn't receive.

Great Service and very Honest. Have brought three different smart phones to this place 2 iPhones and a Samsung, all for screen replacements. All repairs were completed in less than an hour. Today I brought in my iPhone 6S because I dropped it and the speaker and charger stopped working. The repair Technician asked me to give him a few minutes and before I knew it he returned my phone in perfect working condition in less than 5 minutes and did not charge me anything. THE WORST! Apparently the manager wants no part in customer service because when my sister asked to speak to the manager he decided the solution was to call the police. I work in retail and my manager would try and understand the complaint not call the police because I had a question. Some questions the sales associates cannot answer hense why she asked to speak to the manager. After I received my laptop which was only there for a diagnosis, it was not working properly. My laptop was functioning well except for the usb ports werent working. I got it back basically unusable. I called to ask a question about their diagnosis process and an associate told me to come in and he would look at my laptop again. I arrived and was speaking to the same man from the phone. He was giving me advice on what is best to do next when the manager comes out yelling about how my sister wanted to speak with him the day before. I didnt know that it was a crime to want to ask the manager a question. I cannot support a business run by such terrible people.

Came in to get my switch fix cause it wouldn't charge, they fixed it for 2 hours , came home and suddenly stopped charging again. Came back to get it checked out asked the guy if it was my charger or something was wrong with it again , he tried his charger and said it's broken again because his charger didn't work. Came back the next day to pick it up. He talked to me with an attitude saying nothing was wrong with it , his charger worked after all, I said okay but you said your charger didn't work so I said cool thanks again , just ignored me and walked away. Called the store in advance to find out if they had the required part I needed. Told them I had the all the details necessary and was ready to give it. They said well dont worry come over as we cannot tell u over the phone without looking at the laptop. So walked all the way over reach there and the person says well it's not in stock. I was told one price $59-79 in the email and was given a higher price upon arriving to the Mississauga repair centre. I mentioned that I was offered the lower price but they did not adjust it. I left my headphones for the repair for $89. Next day they told me that the repair would cost $250. They offered me the "best price" $220. I refused to pay that much. At that moment they told me, that I had to pay $40 + tax for the diagnostics. So I lost money, time and did not have my headphones fixed. Very disappointing.

My screen took 3 hours to be fixed when they originally told me it would be 1.5 hours. That would be totally fine but every time I came back in they said 20 minutes. I understand they are busy, but so am if it is going to take 3 hours be honest. Secondly they cracked my phone when putting on the screen, it is functional but pops off every so often making my screen not functional. The cashier is very nice, however the man I spoke to was incredibly incompetent. He did not understand what customers were asking him. If possible please try to go to a different repair shop over this one

TechKnow space was at the top of a list of stores, provided by a friend, that could fix my cell phone (Galaxy S4). I went in and was able to get immediate help and was told the phone would be ready in an hour. I was able to finish some extra errands across the street at square one and returned an hour later. I checked out the store and bought an otter box. Unfortunately they were busy at the time so I had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes to get my phone back, but it was worth the wait. It works like it did 2 years ago. In all a great experience with customer service and I'll be back for any cell phone issues.

Moreover the technicians are not efficient and they just want to ripbthe customer and steal his money and cheat him. EXTREMELY poor service! Please do not go there. We were treated in a very rude and disrespectful manner by a gentleman, who appears to the owner. He behaved this way for no reason...we called the store to check on the status of our repair and he basically told us we are wasting his time and in the future customers will be charged $5 for calling the store to check on repairs. I have just had an absolutely horrible experience. I went to pick up my iPhone 6 which I had given for a screen replacement. When they handed me the phone, I could see a light on the side bear the mute button and I brought it to the attention of the person on the front desk (who refused to tell us his name)... He said he will show it to the technician and come back. He then gave a reason saying the frame was damaged and hence the screen won't sit properly. All I said was it wasn't so earlier and he said I don't have time you can either pay up or I will put the old screen back and you still pay half the amount????!!!!! We asked to speak with the technician and he said the technician is not to speak with customers. We asked to speak with the manager/supervisor/owner but all he said was this is the email n phone number in the card and u can do what you like and took my phone away and put it inside, saying that he has no time and he also told my husband to move away from the counter. After we called, (and mind you the call was picked up in the room next to where we were standing!!!) another arrogant guy came out who would also not listen to our concern and said I will turn away to examine the phoenix so that you don't interrupt me.....??!!!! What the heck.... it's my phone and don't I have a right to ask any question on the repair they have done to it? He says I can change the frame at 40 bucks if you are worried about it....Really???? Can never ever even recommend this place to anyone at all.... They are so so horrid!

*UPDATES BELOW* Usually I am not one to do reviews but please AVOID this place at all costs! I needed to get my iPad fixed asap and TechKnow was the only place that opened early. I called and they said it could be fixed in a hour. I was pleased with the customer service and got the text that my device was ready. After going back to my vehicle I realized the home button was completely loose and about to fall off. I called back thinking it was a honest mistake and they said to bring it in and they'd take a look. I was told it was going to take another 40 minutes. I went back and was told to wait another 20 minutes. After 30 minutes they said it was ready. The home button still seemed a little loose but I didn't think anything of it as that was my issue for coming back. I allowed my iPad to sit 8 hours before removing the protective film. After giving it a wipe - it came to my attention that there were fingerprints inside the screen!! Plus the home button was still fairly loose. I am very disappointed as wearing gloves or even wiping the inside of the screen is a very simple task plus the home button before getting the repair was perfectly fine. Replacing a screen should be an easy, efficient service for a repair shop. I paid $158 for this service and would rather pay more elsewhere (to get these issues resolved) than go back to TechKnow Space. I cannot speak for cellphone/laptop services but as far as iPads go I would suggest finding somewhere else. UPDATE: I went to CPR Repair and learned a very cheap plastic screen was put on my iPad. There has also been areas of the screen where the Touch Panel is unresponsive - this issue was not there before going to TechKnow Space. I also need to get the home button repaired. The associate at CPR Repair actually felt bad for me and was shocked, as the service received from TechKnow was unacceptable. He even offered to give me a discount. I am beyond disappointed as a simple screen repair has now cost me so much extra unnecessary time & money. Please do your research and avoid TechKnow Space. There are many other alternatives that are cheaper & more reliable. I would not suggest TechKnow for any sort of repair! FINAL UPDATE: I was hesitant to do this final update but I believe it is important for customers to know. The associate at CPR Repair gave me the screen put on by TK and mentioned I'd be able to get a refund for the screen as manufactures always have some sort of refund option available. I then checked TechKnows refund policy as well as searching manufactures and it was very possible for me to get a refund. I later called TK and was transferred to the store owner Ash. I have NEVER been spoken to so disrespectfully and rude. I am not one to pull the gender card but I was actually shocked how an obviously elder man was speaking to a female. He was very entitled and kept saying in all of his years of business he has never given a refund and will not give one to me. I may not be in the customer service as long as Ash - but I have been for about 6 years so I know my rights. I insisted I wanted to come in to talk to him and again - He was very entitled & said he would only give me a few minutes. At the point I did not care about the money and more about the principle of how to treat other people and own a business. A few days later I noticed I had a voicemail from Ash! His whole tone had changed and he apologized and said he could offer me a refund. I called him and we had a brief talk and he mentioned the screen was only $17!! This is something that completely shocked me as the full repair was $158. Techknow charges $141 for labor and the work is not even good. After more research a good screen replacement cost roughly $40-$70 (excluding labor). Apologizes for the long review but it's important for consumers to be treated accordingly and know they should not be overlooked and we all have rights! Reading the reviews I know more people have had similar experiences. If any previous customers come across this review please overview the "Consumer Protection Act".

Wow! Such a professional and courteous attitude from the receptionist to the Customer Service Staff. I was really impressed. I had already tested the quality of their work by sending someone who needed a glass changed on his Ipad. They did the repair in a timely manner, and the person and his 9 year old daughter, were completely satisfied. Today, I brought them another iPad and 2 Iphone 5S for the same. I was so surprised to learn, that all 3 will be ready by 5 pm, at a very reasonable cost.

Today I got my Samsung S4 phone digitizer replaced, as I could no longer see my screen. Less that 1 hour later I was out the door with my phone working again. I had a screen replaced here. Had to bring it back because it was popping back out of the phone. It seemed that they used glue to hold the screen down for the second repair. After further disassembly, I found that ALOT of glue was used to hold down the screen. Furthermore, I found "scotch" tape on the inside. Which I can only assume was to keep incorrectly installed components from conducting on my phones metal casing. The incorrectly installed components I speak of are the ribbons and antenna wire that were not layered or routed as they had come from the factory. My phone did function properly after the repair. However, I will not be returning based on poor workmanship. Edit Response: Like I originally said, my phone was functioning properly. It was not until a subsequent repair that I realized the poor workmanship "inside" my phone. I understand that manufacturers use adhesives in the manufacturing process; however, they are not using "crazy" glue and "scotch" tape. I have no complaints about your Customer Service, but maybe stick to Samsung and Apple repairs... Cheers

After having completely shattered my iPhone SE’s screen, I immediately looked into getting it replaced in a reasonable time frame. TechKnow was the only place apart from Apple that could replace my SE’s screen out of the five other places in the area that I had called. Compared to the Genius Bar at Apple, TechKnow was the logical choice to get my screen fixed as I was told by the employee at the Genius Bar that they needed an hour and a half to due diagnostics then another hour and a half to actually fix it. TechKnow took a total of 20 minutes to fix my phone after I had dropped it off for a fraction of the price of getting it fixed at Apple.

They had my phone for about 3 days eventually the same problem occurred again within few minutes after taking the delivery of the phone. The second time when they tried fixing it in 2 days the same problem occurred and the rear camera didnt work nor I was able to turn on the back light. I spent 250+ dollars for nothing and now I didnt have an option rather than buying a new phone. I didnt try to ask for a refund because I'm sure they will try to fix it for one more time and I know the results prior to them fixing it. I recommend them to take the orders on which they can provide a solution and not to waste anyone's time. Really not happy by looking at this review if they are ready to refund I would be happy.

Manager was great, after an initial problem where I was given a faulty replacement part, he personally called and offered to replace the part for free. Did take a bit of time but works like new and I'm glad they showed responsibility for their customers.

Never ever go here. They replaced my cell phone battery with a faulty and mis-sized battery, designed to stop working one day after warranty. Horrible horrible place and the cost triples once you get there vs.the initial quote.

I paid 40 dollars upfront for diagnosing that should be dedicated feom repair cost but my mobile was not repaired as it needed a new motherboard. I should have been paid back the diagnostic cost as I didn’t refuse the repair. I should have been informed in the first place that it could be irreparable and you could lose the diagnostic fees (40 dollars)

I've gone here twice, and both times they have saved me a lot of money. With my 5 year old iPhone, I thought I was going to have to get a new one. Well a new battery solved that problem and it's working just fine now. My PC wasn't working at all. I thought I overheated my processor and needed a new one. Turns out I just needed a new cooling system. I will be going here anytime I have a problem I can't solve.

Bunch of scammer They mislead the clients to get the diagnose fee $40. They gave me an estimate of $85-120 to repair my laptop. After 2 days, they called me to inform me with the real cost which was $345 ... I told the guy .. your estimate was $120 Max!! He replied .. that was before I check the laptop!!! Living in Oakville ON... The closest Apple repair centre is at Square One. My iPad Air 2 had a crack in the screen. I walked in the Apple Store..... over crowded and obviously from my experience several staff are not very competent ! I felt rushed and my iPad was looked at by a tech representative and manager. They told me I needed a new iPad and they'd give me a deal for ~$400 for the same device! I almost fell for it, but left feeling frustrated!! While pulling out of the parking lot on my way home I passed a sign that said Techknow Space... Tired from my experience at the Apple Store , I hesitated, but turned around and entered the store. It was immediately a breath of fresh air! Extremely friendly staff and obviously extremely smart. They took my protective cover off and my screen was PERFECTLY FINE! I cannot thank this store , staff and owner for their help. Custom service was superb and they saved me so much money!! I highly recommend this store before heading to Apple or any other places!!????????????????✔️????????????????

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Came to fix screen. Screen was fixed but Wifi was ruined. When we called back, they refused to accept that it was their fault and some douche named Ash was very rude over the phone stating that its $90 to fix and that he's done arguing even though the wifi worked before the screen was fixed. Sounds like a scam store that just wants rip you off. Stay away people!

Came in with a odd repair request, needed the data port replaced on a wireless site survey device (Ekahau). I had the part number on hand but I was told that they preferred that I order the replacement part myself. I would have counted this as a strike against them until they pointed out that getting the part myself from DigiKey would be cheaper (their pricing for sourcing parts for you is listed on the website). Came back with part and unit in hand, replacement was done in less than an hour. Unit has been back to work daily for the past two weeks without issue. Great service and quick turnaround, I'm glad I didn't have to repurchase the whole unit. Getting mad at this place is like getting mad at a surgeon; whose response should be "Ok, you do it then!".

Brought my iPad mini here because I had dropped it and smashed the screen. The fix took around 3 hours. Picked it up, paid, everything seemed good, (except for some chips along the side of my device, which I'm thinking is just normal damage that results from taking the screen off) but then over the next couple weeks a lot of dead spots started showing up. I couldn't put more than 2 fingers on the screen at once, and I was having trouble even putting my passcode in to unlock the device. Took it back and they were happy to fix it - no problems at all. Customer service was great in this respect. Took around 3 hours to fix it again. It works better now, but it's not perfect. The screen can't handle any fast motions - including fast typing and swiping. Had I brought this to Apple, I would have paid $200 + tax to get a new screen and 100% functioning. I spent $160 here and got a new screen and 90% functioning. So, I guess that's fair.

DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR DEVICE TO THESE PEOPLE!! After they "repaired" my device, it came back in worse condition than when I brought it in. When I called to talk to someone about it, they refused to even listen to my explanation of the problem before blaming me for it and hanging up on me. Rude and unprofessional don't even begin to describe this company. I learned a $400 lesson. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else.

Wonderful staff and service! After my ipad met with a flagstone floor, my screen was smashed and cracked beyond repair. Fortunately the ipad still worked. The staff was able to replace my screen and did so under a time constraint as I had another appointment and was visiting from out of town. Highly recommend them!

When my iPhone 6 screen shattered I did not know what to do as I needed it fixed right away. Most companies that I called could only fix it over night. But luckily when I called The TechKnow Space they were able to fix it within ONE HOUR!!! I was so happy! The customer service was great!!! I took it into the Mississauga location and I would highly recommend this fast and affordable company for any repair!!! The work is EXCELLENT!!

I had to file a theft report with the police. I paid the $40 diagnostic fee and waited for their call. They never called me.They blatantly stole my iphone and refused to return it. They told me that because i waited longer than 6 weeks, they had to recycle my phone.

Absolutely horrible service. I used TechKnow space back in Sept 2018 to have the chargeport repaired on my iPad. Went to pick it up and there was an issue with the screen - yellowing near the edge, and ridges of what look like glue underneath the screen. I bring it back, the identify the issue as being part of the screen re-install and agree to fix it. Couple days go buy, get a call they need a new screen, wait for it to come in installed, and away we go. Fast forward to this year - my wife takes her phone there for a screen replacement. Upon pick up, identify the screen is not installed correctly as the glass is raised out of the casing, after pushing back a little bit guy acknowledges its wrong and fixes it. Now I don't know why I went back but my ipad had another issue - screen would not react to touch anymore. Take it in, takes 3 days for them to diagnose a logic board issue. Approve the repair for $395 bucks - go to pick up the ipad - first off its covered in glue all along the outer edges, it has tape everywhere holding it together, and of course HAS THE SAME ISSUE IT DID THE LAST TIME THEY TOOK IT APART - yellowing on a portion of the edge of the screen and glue marks under the glass. This time the owner, who just finished fighting with two other unhappy customers, decides he isn't going to take ownership of the issue they caused and tells me I have to pay them to replace the screen. Have a look at the picture - how is this any sort of damage I could cause? Especially since, they had the screen off to repair the logicboard. You be the judge - but be sure to stay FAR AWAY from this repair facility. I'm out $400 and now need to go have someone repair / replace my screen. Unbelievable customer experience.

I am extremely clumsy with my phone. I have come to techknow space for the last 4 years and I won't trust anyone else! They have helped me replace my screen (at least 8x LOL ) change my battery, and even replace the back of my phone's. These are the only people I trust. Their customer service is great and when they say an hour they mean an hour! Pricing is good too! Definitely recommend

Bunch of liars and crooks. Don't believe them when they tell you that they will refund you the deposit if they are unable to fix it. After I called them and was told that they could not fix my headphones (which they said they could for <$100 initially), I asked for the deposit back. Instead, they said they could fix it for $300, more than the cost of the headphones in the first place. Edit: If you are also a victim of their scam, try calling your credit card company for a chargeback. It was the first time I did this and they were very receptive given what happened.

Highly recommend. Took my OnePlus 6T here after it fell into the ocean and it's now working brand new. Key points. -Great and knowledgable customer service -fast and efficient -one of the only places that has parts for a OnePlus phone -transparent process and fair pricing. The guy on the phone cut me off and acted like he did not hear me. They repaired my laptop and i did not like the repair since it looked like a 5 yr old kid did it and looked like it woudnt even last a week before breaking again. Screws were literally screwed through the shell of the laptop. I told them i did not want to pay $300 for the **** repair and they refused and said i had to pay or they would recyle it. The guy on the phone was a ***** same with the girl that never called me back. Don't waste your time or money here. ------------------------------------------------- In reply to owner - You guys made me sign some agreement that if i don't pay for the repair you guys will recycle the laptop. Now you accuse me of being clueless. Plus i never even paid for the repair you guys just took the laptop and claim you're recycling it but you are probably just selling the parts off it.
