Went to get my iPhone 5s screen replaced, when I picked it up the front camera was extremely blurry and the rear camera stopped working completely. He said he would fix it and to come back in an hour. I came back and he said he can't do anything about it unless I buy a new rear camera. I refuse to pay for something they broke, They are scum bags who try to rip you off and sell you knock off tech. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. They also get their friends to write bias reviews, terrible people terrible products and terrible service ????????

I would give this 0 stars if I could. Old man working is RUDE and doesn't have any customer service experience. His son is although nice. Products are defective. Had to take phone in 3 times to get screen changed. Even after that, the son agreed to refund and the old man started arguing and saying "what the hell is this" "you are wrong" "you don't own a business" "go to other stores and see if they do this". Talked nonsense when I actually am a business owner and know what good customer service is. It's really sad to see this level of customer service these days. Finally, they refunded me and said I couldn't get refund back on credit card b/c I don't have the receipt. I said give me cash minus the fee I don't care. He said he had "to pay tax on it". I said fine take 13% off. Gave me 87% refund ON MY CREDIT CARD. HOW? You tell me you can't refund the CC and then refund me the CC and still charge me 13%? What the what!?!!? DO NOT GO HERE

I paid $100 to repair iPhone from water damage and unlock it, as agreed. when i picked it it was repaired but still locked. few months after i went and paid them cash to unlock it. When i took back home, i found wouldn't work with any carrier at all. when i went back to him, the father told me there is no record you paid, and one of his son kept insisting i am lying, because his very aggressive attitude i left the store after several years i used to repair my phones there, and left them with this bad review and my $20 i paid for nothing.

My LG Nexus 5 power button was getting jammed and it costed $60 and took a week to fix! All they had to do was take out the power button and replace it. Will not go again.

I've visited this store twice. However, it obviously focuses more on smartphones and laptops and repairs than desktop computers. No real stock parts, up to date peripherals, or brand accessories. Lots of refurbished stuff. Nice selection of adapters, though. They sell old, but new GPU's for odd prices. I'm not sure it's worth the price points they're at anymore. Anyways, 3 stars because they're still quite okay, despite all the negative reviews. Service is fine too. I had no problems talking to them. However, it just leaves me feeling disappointed about not having a "proper," computer store closeby.

Very sad place to be. The young guy there left us with a bad taste. He lied and told us the new screen he replaced for our iphone 6s is perfect and that our touch id is defective prior to handing him the phone. Come to find out after arguing with him for 30 mins, and having his technician look at our iphone, that all his replacement screens actually disable touch id. So he promised to put back the old screen ( which was our orginal cracked screen ) and lo and behold the touch id worked! We took the phone back and vowed to never go back to this guy! I do not recommend this guy at all,.,. I mean the man didnt even say sorry for what he did. Well this is the last time im shopping there. I would give him a zero if i could! Thank god we got our phone back and got it dont properly and cheaper at another store. Never again.

Needed to get my MSI laptops hinge replaced. Most other places were saying they can do full screen/board replacement but Sheridan Computers was the only one to confirm that I only need a hinge repair. They got it done in only 2 days and for a very fair price. Will be coming to them again for any future laptop related issues.

I do not at all recommend this location and their services they have to offer. I left my almost brand new iPhone here, and as opposed to my iPhone's battery being replaced, my screen was replaced with a fake and several parts within the iPhone were damaged. I know this as I went to apple and they told me this exact information. Going back to this store, I was told that it was not their fault and the customer service I received was rude and ignorant.

Gave them a call to ask about a monitor they had posted on Kijiji, The guy was so careless about talking to me. I mentioned to him that Best Buy is selling the same monitor at a much cheaper price and all he said was OK. I ignored it and asked if he had anything in a lower price range, without even checking he said NO immediately. Terrible customer service would not recommend shopping here!

Not impressed with the service. I brought in an Asus Zenbook UX305 because it suddenly would not turn on and no lights were coming on. I suspected that the battery needed to be reset but I didn't have a Torx screwdriver to remove the screws. I brought it to Sheridan Computers hoping to get it done quick as I needed the laptop for work. I offered to pay extra for a rush on it. The person who assisted me wasn't interested in what I thought the problem might be. I called 6 days later to check on it and was told that they had sent me a text message the day before to say it was ready. I never received the text, and would have appreciated a phone call instead. My roommate picked it up and was told the issue was the motherboard due to a power surge, and managed to sell her a power surge bar. Following day, same problem, no power, no lights. Issues that do not even indicate a problem with the MB. I'm quite certain that the technician opened it up, unplugged the battery and that was that, quick fix. But the tech obviously did not realize that this fix is temporary unless you update to the newest BIOS. Spent $180 and ended up using scissors to take out the screws and go through the process properly. It has been working fine for a week now. If you have even a bit of tech knowledge, I recommend doing the work yourself.

Have purchased two phones from this retailer. one, a New BB Q5 - two and a half months later touch screen dies. Call to take advantage of the "one year full warranty" included with the phone and was told their warranty is only 30 days and i should contact BB customer Care... BB told me "nope" have to go back to the retailer... Called them back - sure, we'll send it to BB - it will take a month. Let me reiterate - the phone is 70 days old... Stay tuned - heading there now to loom over them and sort this out. Lets hope they come around to how ludicrous this is.

I have good experience for a year at this store .bought a new Samsung 7 edge phone and few chargers year back .last month my galaxy note power button wasn't working and it got down .I had this happen once before on this phone and my husband got it fixed from somewhere in around 20 dollars in few hours .so I gave them my phone and my phone was all working .it's audio video incoming outgoing call working expect the power button and wasn't charging properly .it's got the phone after two days and I took home and my charging input didn't go inside and i tried to put in the other wider slot but surprised to see something was coming out of that slot ,I knew it was something related to audio or speaker but I ignored my gut feeling .how can someone ruin that .I went again to store and the person in charge whom I respected a lot again behaved so rudely and started to angrily putting away the things and his body language was so harsh and it was the second time he behaved like that .first time when I took back the phone he said rudely oh what a Musibaat.paali.lae.mae nae.i wasn't expecting that kind of behavior from him as I respected him and it was so not professional and I didn't want to create more negativity otherwise I could have yelled too and I wanted to discuss why that thing coming out of the input of phone..isn't it the audio thingy but I didn't and hoped it wasn't ruined and don't have to deal with more of this behavior .I went back powerboat on was working but still very tight and had to push so much and then I got to know yes my gut feeling was right .it was audio thingy that was coming out and he knew but didn't confess .at least admit mistake and fix it .after that my phone had to audio not in incoming outgoing call not on YouTube or what's app .whole my phone ruined plus paid 50 dollars for button and now it's trash ..i never went back to tell them that he kruined the audio and all my phone as when gave him back for 2nd time he saw and he knew at that time it would be courageous to admit and fix my audio

DO NOT recommend going here… customer service is absolutely terrible. Bought a phone case and tempered glass screen protector here. The case itself came with a film screen protector in its description. However, when I got home to open the packaging, there was no film screen protector, just the case. I came back an hour later explaining my predicament and asked for the film screen protector. The staff wouldn’t give me what I paid for rationalizing, “Why would I give you this when you already purchased a tempered glass one.” Well… I PAID FOR IT. They only acquiesced after I brought my parents in to advocate for me. Buying a phone case should never be this tedious or cumbersome.

I write this 5 star review about Sheridan Computers with great pleasure because of many reasons: I have purchased 3 laptops and one smart phone from them since 2015 (one laptop purchased in 2015, another in 2017, another one in 2020, and my phone purchased in 2020). To this very day, I am very satisfied with all my purchases. These laptops and my smart phone have never let me down. The after sale service is just out of this world. I only had one very minor problem with the first laptop that I purchased. I couldn't figure out how to pair my Bluetooth mouse with the first laptop. I took it back to the store and the owner, Tariq, went out of his way to help me. It turned out it was a setting issue and he went above and beyond to help me pair my Bluetooth mouse. I never experienced outstanding service anywhere else. He showed me how to pair Bluetooth devices. Normally at other places, you buy something and you're on your own. He called me the next day to ensure everything if everything with my laptop is going smoothly. From here and moving forward, I'm only buying my computers and accessories from Sheridan Computers. When compared to other retailers, they have very fair prices (I have compared prices). When it comes to quality, I don't think anyone else would compare to them. I only write reviews if I feel a business goes above and beyond, and this computer shop certainly did. You guys rock!!! Keep up the outstanding work you do daily.

I've purchased a laptop back in September 2017 and I don't believe in writing a review until at least 6 months to give a real picture of the product and the business. I'm also not the one to write a strong review unless I believe the business deserves it. First most, I'm very happy with my purchase. I got a great deal and have been very happy with the HP laptop. To date, it has given me no problems and I use it on a daily basis. The salesperson (possibly the owner), sorry forgot his name, a young person, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my questions effectively and knew the product very well. I did not feel any pressure to buy it. Originally, my state of mind was to only go in and look, but I had to buy it as the deal was really good. I searched over Google and saw this store had the one the prices (even better than the big stores). I just want to end by saying thank you for the great deal. I'll definitely recommend my friends and family to buy their next laptop here as the whole sales process from start to end was very positive.

I never write reviews but I will make an exception if it helps people save money. I took my computer in to be repaired. The owner advised he would have his technician diagnose the problem and call me back to let me know how much the repair would cost. The turnaround was to be 3-5 days - as advised by the owner. I stressed multiple times how time sensitive this was. They have a crass young kid who answers their phones with zero understanding of client service or knowledge of what is being done in the store. After 5 days and no response (as promised) I called in to be told my computer was ready for pick up. No call for the diagnosis, no quote, just a price due. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, paid, took my computer home and experienced the same issues only 5 mins after starting it up again. I was asked to bring it back. Once again I stressed how time sensitive this was and was told again that I would receive a call back. After more than a week and multiple calls which don't connect, I had to call in again, speak to the uncultured receptionist again and was told to come and pick my device up. Upon checking my computer IN THE STORE, the problem was not fixed. It had now been over 3 weeks on a '3-5 day' turnaround. The owner shrugged his shoulders and offered me a refund. In the end: They wasted my time giving me the run around for nearly 1 month, my problem was not fixed by their 'technicians', there was damage to the frame of my computer (fresh scratches and dents) and I was given my device back with all the screws missing. Spend your money wisely! Avoid this place. From the goof answering the phones, to the bumbling owners lack of product knowledge, to his 'technicians' damaging my computer, no accountability, no call backs and ultimately 4 weeks of work opportunities having to be shifted, this was the worst experience I've ever had from a computer store.

This place is horrible. Gave my phone to be unlocked and was told it would take 3 days. I called them to see if it was finished after 3 days and they told me that bells system was down and that it will take another 3-4 days. I went to the store one day to see if it was finished and the store was closed when it should have been open, came back later on in the day and it was still closed. When I called the store they rarely answered and when they did I was told to call back later because the manager wasn't there. It's been 11 days now and my phone is still not unlocked. If you want good service do not come here.

Do yourself a favour and purchase a computer from Best Buy or Walmart , you will spend more but atleast won’t be sold a dud . I purchased a computer in January which was completely broken... barely works to even surf the internet . I brought the computer back twice to fix and was accused that I had put viruses on the computer which I did not do. I was also accused that I installed photo shop which I did not do . I came in today with my mother & the owner was extremely rude to both of us . Saying “ I don’t have time for this I have other things to do “ when I asked for help. Very uncomfortable experience ; I didn’t end up fixing or even purchasing another computer . Also lied and said I paid less than what I actually paid . Not to mention , his mask was off his face for most of this horrid experience. At times like this we should be serving our community with the utmost respect not treat them like they are above us . Never going back & will tell all my other family and friends to stop going here as well.

I came in to inform an issue regarding my laptop hinge. The owner said they could temporarily fix it. However, the following day, the hinge was put in a very awkward position as it was soldered. They then told me that it cannot be fixed immediately, and a full replacement will take 2-3 weeks. I went to another store and the owner was able to fix my problem within 10 min FREE of CHARGE ( no solder used, only screwdrivers and common tools)! The worst part of this is that Sheridan was even willing to charge me almost $100 for the repair! You guys should very embarrassed! Such a simple issue, yet you guys cannot even properly find a solution...

WARNING , ATTENTION PEEL REGIONAL POLICE I purchased a phone last months from them to set that up with Freedommobile. their phone had all sorts of issues, which LG and Freedom were not able to fix and could not figure that out initially what was wrong. the phone would not register properly with the carrier and would not update. After several attempts by Freedom mobile it was finally came down to the phone being "LOST or STOLEN". Freedom mobile and LG advised me to immediately return the phone to the seller. When I went back to Sheridan Computers and told them about the problem and the findings, the owner got very defensive and rude. I could see that from their reaction they are aware that they have sold a stolen phone., The owner came up with all sorts of comments and reactions. One of which was that they sell the phones to the police officers.... But at the same time he did not agree to call Freedom mobile and listen to their comments which would prove the phone is stolen. He was insulting and offensive. When I asked for my money back, although the phone was still within 60 days warranty, he wanted to take $100 off. After much arguing and back and forth he still took $50 off the amount that he had charged me and sent me out of the store $50 short off what I had paid. I could not and decided not to argue further having my 9 year old daughter with me that day in their store. I would like to create awareness about this store. Be very cautious if you are dealing with them. The phone they had sold me looked brand new so there is very difficult to judge by the appearance of the phone. Went in to get my iphone 6s screen replaced after I cracked it. Fixed it after an hour. Not had a problem after. The reason I am only giving you three star is your attitude on the comments. When someone leaves a negative review please do not call them mentally ill. You do not own the best business and no one is perfect. Everyone has negative reviewss. Depends on how they handle it. Even if someone leaves a fake review, do not call them mentally ill. Look at other stores review responses for help. Also your store has horrible timings. Only open till 7:30 PM on weekdays, open at 11:00 AM so I am not able to go on weekdays. Closed on Sundays. When can I come. !!!

Terrible store, when I gave my phone in to fix after they barely fixed it and by the way they made it worse and used my phone to review themselves leaving a 5 star review. Do not trust other reviews these guys suck trash prices for used equipment. I know this because on my email it said thanks for leaving a review or something like that and I was wondering what I reviewed and it was where I left my phone to get repaired
