This morning I went into Walnut Grove computers looking for something to connect my monitor (VGA) to my computer (HDMI). The place I bought the monitor was out of stock of adapters, and other company sold me the wrong adapter. Jose knew exactly what I needed, explained all the different types of ports to me, and gave me exactly what I needed. I've been going to this company for over 20 years and highly recommend their expertise and service.

Poor experience with ordering from them from Amazon.ca. Ordered a router. They respond asking me to cancel the order as the owner made a price error on the item. To good to be true applied on this (it was 75% less price). Order cancelled hassle free (only reason 3 stars appears here); If I do not see the refund this drops to 1. Owner did not honor the price on the item he set (i'd understand if a disgruntled employee made it, but the OWNER did it). Wouldn't shop from this seller again for that reason; maybe the in store is better as per below reviews, IDK. Shopping with them from Amazon, tread lightly.

Took my pc to this store to have two little screws reinstalled that came off when I unhooked the monitor cable. Clearly a 5 minute job that I didn't feel comfortable doing myself as it meant taking the back off the computer. They had a 5 day turnaround rime which I couldn't do as it us my office computer. They then offered me their expedited service for $225! And that didn't include the repair. It also still had me waiting for a day, maybe 2. I said no way and called Express Computers. They were happy to do it on the spot and didn't charge me a penny!! It's all about customer service Walnut Grove Computers.

They charged me 70$ and I picked up my computer with nothing done. Although they did the updates on a useless win7 install due to it required a previous install of windows 2000.My fault but to install the updates without doing the verification first is a waste of time and my money. Will not be returning.

Showed up to get a hard drive. Super friendly they helped me out. They were very polite to tell me that they couldn’t install the hard drive right away because they had other computers ahead of me. I went home and in the process of installing the hard drive myself realized I was missing a piece. I went back and they told me they didn’t have the piece but they gave me could of options and let me decide. I was very appreciative of the fact that despite being busy they took a moment to help me.

The range of connectors they stock is excellent and I managed to get everything I needed to redo an office with a mixture of old and new equipment. The staff are great and know what they are doing. Great place for computer parts. I called first to see if they sold the ram I needed for my laptop. The customer service was exceptional even though it wasn't in stock they ordered it and within 2 days I was able to pick it up. These guys are awesome and I will definitely be going back when it's time to upgrade again.

I ordered online an internal hard drive from Walnut Grove Computers and forgot to order the necessary cable. They phoned me and suggested I might need one. 18 hours later I received the products as requested. The amazing things is that I live in the South Cariboo and delivery that fast is unheard of in my experience. I have been shopping with WGC since before they moved from their old 96th ave location and will certainly continue to deal with them. Their price was significantly lower than what I could get it for here. Thanks guys!

Re 2017 Imac: Incredibly happy with Walnut Grove Computers!! They added new ram and changed my hard drive to a solid state unit..Cloned all my files and programs over.. They checked over the whole system. Its now faster than when it was new!! Gurpreet in service followed up with me with estimates as he looked into the unit... Great service to optimize speed and fix Windows issues. I've brought in 5 of our computers, 3 laptops and 2 desktops that weren't old, but seemed to have performance issues. One of the laptops had been assessed for 2 hours by another company who said we would need to purchase a replacement. Walnut Grove had it fixed in an hour and it's better than it was when we first had it configured (by the other company). If you have any speed or performance issues with your computers, a quick treatment from Walnut Grove may be what it needs. This is my go to now.

Been here three times, the first time when my laptop was running super slow, then for a new battery, and then when my laptop finally died. The customer service is exactly what is needed from a store like this. Staff who have communication skills, who will gently correct my own lack of knowledge. They pointed me to a refurbished unit and saved me the time and money of going to a big box store. I have witnessed them take the time to gracefully deal with people who come in at their wits end, and are stressed out over computers.
