ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! They fixed everything perfectly and super-fast!! So I had purchased an Alienware gaming laptop from BestBuy back in 2018 and within the last couple of weeks it had a major issue where audio wasn't working, I couldn't access my computer's settings and many other folders/apps would not open. Reinstalling things wasn't helping and I invested countless hours plugging in different commands in PowerShell but all the solutions offered online did not help. Even attempting a factory reset was not working for some reason! I contacted BestBuy and they couldn't give me a straight answer and were just pushing for their monthly geeksquad service. I was still within the my 4 year protection plan but very quickly realized they weren't going to come to a conclusion any time soon so I decided to check out SimplyFixIt in Waterloo. I am amazed by their incredible service and am an instant customer for life (that's how AWESOME they are)! When I first emailed them, they said right away that they would check it out no problem and if they couldn't resolve the issue, it would not cost me anything. If they could, then it would cost about $80 which is extremely reasonable. I dropped it off and they assured me within a minute or two of explaining the problem that they could most likely fix it and that it would not take very long. I think it might have been 1.5hrs (super-fast!!!) and the laptop was back in my hands. Everything is perfect again! I CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH FOR BEING COMPLETELY INCREDIBLE. I will ALWAYS go to SimplyFixIt from now on. They deserve a great deal of business with how incredible they are. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

But when I returned home and charged the battery, one straight crack on the new screen appears. Maybe it is because of expansion and contraction by heat, maybe it is something else. We had taken over ownership of a family member's iPad, due to a significantly cracked screen from falling. Advice online said it isn't generally worth it to get these replaced, but I phoned around, and the quote from Simply FixIT was significantly better than the others, though it meant I would have to drive from the south end of Cambridge up to Waterloo. However, the prompt and professional reply I got from my initial email gave me the impression it would be worth the risk. And I was right! Based on pictures I emailed and the model number I gave, they pre-ordered the replacement part. After I delivered the broken device to them in their bright, clean, well-stocked store in the mall, I got an email from PK to say that the model wasn't the one I had given (I had brought it in the box which I thought belonged to it, but it turned out to be the one from our family member's newer model), but that didn't deter him; he cheerfully said he would order in the proper screen...and he said the quote would be $10 cheaper. They apologized for the delay it would cause, without blaming me at all. Then when they got in the new part, they were not pleased with the quality of it (they noticed a 'dead spot' in one portion of the screen); they notified me and apologized for a further delay because they wanted to get it done properly, and ordered another part. When they notified me it was ready, they also told me the hours they are open (instead of me having to ask). When I arrived to pick it up, PK's business partner, Harry, was serving another customer, and providing excellent service to her, too. He reviewed the repair process they had gone through, as he took care to clean off my device from any prints and marks. He was efficient and equally professional as PK, and they honoured the lower quote. Both men are friendly and courteous...and speak clearly through masks :) I would gladly go back to them, and would recommend that others give them business, too. It was indeed worth the drive from Cambridge.

UPDATED REVIEW: I got my battery replaced here and I ask for a refund since there was no improvement. I was treated unfair here but I have message the owner and he was kind enough to apologized for the inconvenience and gave me my refund back. Upper management was great to deal with, as for others I don't have nice words to say. Lesson learn from my part, do research before replacing anything.

The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The replacement loudspeaker for my Note 10 + arrived in a couple of days. Once it was in stock, I was able to drop off my phone for service. Within a couple of hours, it was fixed. I got to talk with the technician in person which was way better than sending the phone away. My laptop is in much worse condition after using Simply Fix It- I had a small problem with my screen and wanted to replace the screen and at first the replacement seemed to be done ok. Within the first week of the repair though, the entire laptop screen began to have purple stripes and flickers, and it is due to having either installed a defective screen or an installation problem. From now on, I will only be trusting the Apple store with my devices. Wish I had done that from the start.

August 11th: iPhone X screen replacement. Can't say enough good things about these guys. From the initial phone call to the final pick up of product the team were pleasant and professional. Near the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic I dropped my 2.5 year old iPhone X onto concrete. The screen was fine, but the day after the drop the battery swelled up and pushed the screen off the frame, to the point where I could see light all the way through the phone under the screen. The apple store wanted to charge me $450 to fix a nearly 3 year old phone, but the guys at SimplyFixIT said it would only be $100 if they could save the screen (only replacing the swollen battery) or $120 on top of that if they couldn't save the screen. Long story short, the staff at SimplyFixIT were extremely professional, and I got my iPhone X back feeling brand new for a single bill. I was a skeptic of electronics repair stores before this, but going forward I will absolutely be using SimplyFixIT in the future.

During my flight back home i had an incident with fellow passenger when she forcefully tried to adjust her bag in already full compartment. she pushed my bag that had my laptop in it multiple times. I started to have a bad feeling about my laptop. Adding to my grief, i reached home, tried to turn on my laptop. No response. Plugged the charger, Nothing!! Took it to Simplyfixit. They Quickly accessed the laptop and said there is no visible damage. possibly something is wrong with the motherboard. They quoted $120 for the service , which i happily accepted. Few hours later , i received the call from them. BOOM !!!! My laptop is working. They said the battery connector was dislocated. And the only charged me $45. Extremely Fair. Very happy with their honest business practice where they do not even charge for their time when they are unable to fix the device

Super frieny staff. Answered all my questions. The only downfall is when I inquired about having my phone fixed I told them the model number of my phone numerous times, they said they could fix it. I dropped it off and 2 days later I was informed they could not fix it because of the make of the phone. It was a little disappointing, but none the less they were really helpful all in all. If I have issues with my new phone, I will definitely be taking my phone there!

I accidentally smashed my S8 edge in the mall, and within 15 minutes the gentlemen working that day were able to install a UV treated screen protector that makes the cracks barely noticeable. I was honestly blown away how fast and how well they were able to take a phone that had actual shards of glass falling out of it, and make it look so clean. Phone still works perfectly and I'm lucky I was so close to this store that day!!

Use's unoriginal screens that are so fragile. Went to Apple and was told the screen is aftermarket not original as stated and that the screen breaks easier because the glass is not as thick and made from different quality. Maybe others prefer this if you dont have the money (not sure why because they break so easy) but for me im sticking with quality over cheap from now on. Spend the extra money and stick with Apple you wont regret it

Bought a "new" phone for a seemingly too god of a deal from these guys and it was nothing but issues with the screen from day one. Constantly glitching, randomly closes windows and opens others on it's own. Seems like maybe it was a refurbished phone and I was lied to. I won't be returning to this store. Also, judging by some of this companies cocky responses to other unhappy customers, it seems like they should learn how to be a little more diplomatic and maybe accept that they make mistakes like everyone else, instead of denying accountability.

I would like to share my experience. If you need your cell phone repair this is the place. My cat knocked over a Lysol Wipe container during the night. My iphone xs max was a victim to liquid damage. They Replaced my screen and worked great. 2 weeks later the screen stopped working. My heart sank since i did not have $1500 for a new iphone. And the $310 i paid for a new screen and tempered glass was the most i could afford. Owner called me and said my phone was ready for pickup. They replaced the screen & Tempered glass for no charge. Very thankful and great full. Amazing staff & best customer service i have had in years.

I discovered my iPhone 7 screen, in service slightly over a year, had a raised left side. I e-mailed SimplyFixIT about whether or not they were able to take a look at it and received a reply almost immediately. I went in to their store, a few hours later, at Waterloo Town Square and PK had my phone battery replaced, complete with new screen protector, in just 30 minutes. Unfortunately , spilled some liquid on my work laptop. Data wasn't backed up either. Took it to another repair store. they kept it for a week, and returned un-repaired. A friend suggested Simplyfixit. They handled my problem with great empathy. Within 1 day they confirmed that the damage is bad and the repair is going to be difficult. but the took the challenge as the repair was really important for me. They send the device to their partner lab and guess what!!! 2 weeks later I got the call that laptop is up and running with all my information intact.
