Pro The shop was able to pick my iPad from the car trunk and drop off back after which is useful during these times. Cons 1. My experience tells me iPad may not be the shop's strength. I earlier had two blackberry phone screens replaced by the same person and both were good after that but ipad was totally different experience. 2. There is no warranty given on the repair, so you are at the mercy of the shop's good gesture. 3. Like plumbing and other home repair projects, for electronics repairs too consumers are left at the mercy of luck without any assurance of quality. I was in bad luck this time and wasted some money and my iPad. My experience: My iPad is completely unresponsive now after the shop replaced the screen. Earlier the tab had cracked screen on one corner but was still functional including the cracked area. I gave the tab back to him next day to check. He was alluding to I must have dropped it. He then returned it after so called second repair. He did not charge this time but claimed he had to replace lcd which cost him additional money. The tab worked just for a day but is completely unresponsive again. So I had a tab working for about 6 months with just some cracks and now I have a tab with repaired screen but just to be used as paper weight.

This is my favourite repair shop by far, knowledgeable and fast. I dropped my cellphone off in the early afternoon while i was running around town with my family, had it back in a few hours. The shop was also extremely busy that day and managed to help myself and four customers at the same time. Diagnosed my phone to let me know that my charging port might soon need repair,he's also cleaned the charging port and to top it all off he even installed a screen protector for me on the phone. I was so pleased with the consistent work ( not my first time going here either) that I had to give him 5 stars. This is my go to repair shop! Ill soon be bring my laptop there.

Took my phone in for a new battery and charging port. I was warned of the risks associated with the repair (possible damage to phone when removing backing) as well as the costs associated if the complication arose. In the end the repair was done without issue, at an excellent price. Service was very quick, and the owner was very nice and helpful. Highly recommended! As wonderful an experience as you can hope for with a cell phone repair.

These guys were great in the beginning. After they had received our money and did there shoddy work they refused to fix their mistake. We brought the phone in for a battery replacement. Within a month it started swelling and they refused to help because they only cover their work for 14 days. They may be the cheapest but trust me you get what you pay for, or in our case we have to replace a phone now.

They kept the phone for a week and went I went in the day after it was supposed to be fixed, the same guy handed me back the phone in the same condition as I left it. iPhone screen replacement $65!! This after 2 other places (BIG BRAND STORES) tried and "failed" and told me that it also needed another piece repaired (doubling the cost to about $250) so I was better of to replace the phone! I would give no stars if I could, he replaced the screen on my iPad but did a horrible job, I should have done it myself because now the cheap glass sits too high, the home button is recessed too far into the screen and it's also hard to push (this also worked perfectly fine befor bringing it to him) he also got some glue under the glass so now I have an annoying spot on the bottom left corner of the screen. He was keeping it a secret until I returned to the store and he tried to blame 2 other people for replacing the screen before admitting he replaced it but tried to say it was the LCD that was broken, (I have pictures showing that part of the screen was fine before I took it in and if this were the case why was I not contacted to say the LCD was broken before putting on the new glass???) I was also give 3 different prices on the repair. BEWARE this place is very shady I am very diaspointed with their poor service, will definitely never return

My laptop screen got totally damaged. I went to SimplyFixIt and KW computer and laptop repair and they both told me that hardware is also damaged and I wouldn't be able to hook my laptop with an external screen. Their repair quote was also higher. KW Laptops & Smartphones did not only fix the minor issue with hardware on spot but also showed me on an external screen (via HDMI) that the laptop works just fine at ZERO diagnostics cost. Also, laid out options for me clearly of what would be the best course of action to get the screen repaired. Please support this shop/business. Thank you!

I went to this place to fix my laptop, he took 35 $ for just checking the laptop and identify the problem. Next day he told me that The Motherboard is dead and I have to buy an enclosure for the SSD hard desk to get my data. After I bought the enclosure, I found that the problem is in the SSD hard desk and the Motherboard is OK. I waste also 50$ for the enclosure. When I called him to let him that I will make a complaint, he told me do whatsoever you want. Update: just to reply to the owner comment. My laptop is working normally as it boots into BIOS. If you do not understand that log into BIOS means Motherboard is working properly so you should fix cellphones only. I bought online new SSD hard drive and will prove that soon. My friend came today to you, not me as I am in Quarantine, but believe I will come with the police once I am done with the Quarantine.

My iPhone 6s battery wouldn't hold a charge. My friends had just gotten their phone fixed so I tried the shop they told me about.......I just avoided paying over $1300.00 on a new phone. This fair and honest man replaced the battery on my iPhone 6s ON THE SPOT and made it a priority (He knew I needed it straight away). My previous phone had a broken screen and I have now found a reasonable and reliable repair shop to repair it. I will have 2 functional phones. Went during covid-lockdown to fix my laptop. Ilbram was very helpful, straight to the point, didnt overcharge anything, and when he found the problem to be smaller than anticipated he told me, and reduced the cost to how much work and time he actually spent on it. I was at this location many time. I bought like 5/6 mobile and other items from the store. It looks good at first ,however I start noticing the items fault few days later. I was not sure ,if it was from the store or the items. I clearly find it today. I bought dashcam. The owner said it is 99, but he is going give me for 25 less. He recommended me to add SD memory card for 25 more. I say it is enough the one comes with it. When I open the box no memory card. In the instruction says if any of the items missing contact the dealer. I did . He keep insist me no memory card. Bad business, he sold separately the SD memory. That is probably, what he do with other items, selling separately and pretending it is cheap or fair.

Whatever he did while unlocking or whatever screwed this phone up! The IMEI is erased from the phone. I DO NOT recommend ever going to him. I've heard the same from others!

I'm a little disappointed by my experience here today. I've brought a handful of devices in for repairs here, and always had a great experience - the older gentleman (I assume the owner) has always been helpful, knowledgeable and honest, so I was happy to come by today to pick up a tempered glass screen protector. As usual, he was helpful and honest (even suggesting I hold off on purchasing one, as I am waiting for a case in the mail that is likely but not certainly compatible, but I decided to take the risk); however, the screen protector caused the left third of the screen to become partially unresponsive. I went to return the product, and the gentleman suggested that this was normal, and an inevitability of screen protectors on phones with rounded edges; however, I have friends with the same phone and (more expensive, granted) tempered glass protectors who do not have this issue. I've since spoken with two friends who work at cell service provider retail stores, who have confirmed that this is not an inherent issue with screen protectors, but rather with /cheap/ screen protectors (I stopped in at one friend's store right after my visit here to have a pricier protector installed, and it does not cause this issue). Fair enough, as the one I bought was only $15, but I'm a little disappointed to learn that I wasn't exactly told the truth. To be clear, the gentleman did not give me any trouble, and quickly refunded the money - however, after looking at my receipt, I noticed that I paid $16.95 on debit, and was refunded $15 in cash. I was in a bit of a rush, so this is my fault for not realizing or saying something (and $1.95 is nothing to be upset about), but again, a small disappointment. If I need a device repaired in the future, I will definitely return to this location, as the gentleman has provided excellent service in the past (hence the 4-star review), but next time I will do a little bit of research on the product in advance.

I should not mention the name of the first place I visited but man..... KW Laptops & Smartphones being the 2nd visited place, Ibram was willing to fix it on a SAME DAY for a WAAAAAAAAAY LESS price. I had a defective battery and the store owner was very angry because his employee put it in without charging me an additional fee. He called me a liar and was so verbally aggressive with me enough to make me cry. I just wanted him to test the battery. If it was defective no one is at fault and no money would be lost on either ends. I dont think his employee did anything wrong nor did i as i never touched the battery. When i went in he still was aggressive with me and refused to test the battery admitting it was probably defective and told me he wouldn't sell me a new one or do any sort of service with me again. Still crying looking for support i was told to leave their store. I even asked the owner why he was so angry. I was soo pleased with my services the day before but after this verball assault from the owner i will never return. I will also be filing with the BBB and telling everyone i know about my horrible experience.

my iPhone stopped turning on, i took it to apple, i knew it had battery issues and that the battery needed to be replaced ,but they told me its software. long story short, they wiped all my data and lo and behold, same issue. i lost some of my data that i hadn't backed up and on top of that there was nothing else they could do for me other than replacing the phone that is in pristine condition. how much? $400. I left the store crying and super sad. The next day i woke up and looked around and found KW laptops. i told Ibrahim my issue and without taking a long look at it he told me its not the software but rather the battery and possibly issues with the motherboard. i gave him my other phone that had waterdamage and broken screen, also had a missing homebutton. he fixed it within an hour and it only cost me like 70 dollars. If you ever have issues with ur phone or it needs repair, COME TO KW LAPTOPS!!
