On October 24th 2017, my 2 year old pushed my laptop from the kitchen island onto the ceramic tile (3 feet fall) and as you can guess, the lcd cracked (not the screen) which caused major leakage inside the screen. I googled for the best laptop repair in Kitchener/waterloo, I emailed quite a few to analyze quotes and time frame. And by far Nate was the best in everything. I emailed him on oct 24th at 7pm, got an immediate response 6 min later. Told him would get back to him the next day (wanted to compare prices with others)....and first thing I did on the 25th at 9am is email him and tell him its a go! .... dropped it off on the same day (oct 25th)....to my surprise, on the 26th it was ready...brand new...and he even suggested a better screen........ for the work, the quality and the cost, you can't go wrong with Nate.....after shopping around, he is much more affordable and quicker......I referred him to everyone!

Went an seen Nate after being quoted 60 bucks to take it to Staples then they would send it away for 2 to 3 weeks an I would have to pay more by the end. Seen Nate an he cleaned it out reinstalled windows 10 for me with a perminate virus protection aswell as a new hard drive in it. Went from turning on in like a mins an. My Dell Latitude E6520 laptop lost it's screen connection so who else to turn to but Nate at KW Computer and Laptop Repair. Took my laptop in and collected it the following day fully repaired. Nate mentioned that I might consider changing the hard drive now it was 8 years old and running slowly. Also I had Windows 7 Professional which will be no longer supported next year. I came home and decided to back up my hard drive to be safe in case anything was going to happen to my drive. I slept on Nate's suggestion and the next day called to tell him I was up for a new solid hard drive and Windows 10. Took my laptop in and again collected it the following day. Wow I cannot explain the difference only to say what took 2 minutes to load now takes only 8 seconds. No time to make a coffee while waiting anymore it is so fast and responsive. I do not believe it was that fast when I purchased it eight years ago. KW is just 15 minutes away for me but if I had to travel for 3 hours it would be worth it. Nate is so helpful, knowledgeable and one comes away with such a level of confidence and trust that you know you cannot wait to get your computer home and boot it up and see the difference he has made.

Recently I took my laptop to several local Guelph repair shops and was told that my data could not be recovered after it was left outside in the rain. I had many important pictures and files that I feared lost forever! My laptop stopped booting up successfully so I sent Nate an email on a Friday to see if it was something he might be able to sort out. He was available to take a look at it next day, so I dropped it off in the morning. He quickly diagnosed the issue on the spot as a worn out hard disk drive and offered me two storage size options of solid state drive replacements, both of which he had on hand. He called me just a few hours later to let me know it was ready to go! My laptop is now booting and operating faster than ever, and I still have all the personal files and documents from my previous drive in a recovery folder that Nate kindly dropped on my Desktop. I thought I was going to have to replace my laptop or at least pay double what I did with Nate on the job. When I have a problem with my computer, I want if fixed ASAP, no questions asked. Charge port on my ASUS laptop busted on me. I fired Nate an email late on a Sunday afternoon, expecting an email back the next day.
