Horizon Computing is the place to shop and trust and save money! I have been helped and serviced by Horizon for many years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Prices will surprise you, quality can't be better, and they are customer friendly (and as knowledgeable as you will ever need). They built me a computer from scratch and upgrade it as needed. I never had problems with my outdated Dell or my Mac before that, but now I not only don't have problems, I can actually see a friendly face when I get advice and upgrades. Thanks Horizon!!!

They are surely knowledgeable but my computer works worse now than ever. The first time I brought it in, I took it home and the keyboard was still not working. I had to bring it in again. I've also lost my software programs and have had to purchase them again. Wouldn't mind if the computer was fixed.

A power outage during a wind storm occurred while my desktop was in the middle of a Windows update. As a result, the boot drive was scrambled. I took the tower in late one afternoon and got it back within 24 hours. Paul and Nigel were helpful and gave good advice. The emotional support--for the inevitable separation anxiety--from Eric and Lola was appreciated as well! My computer is now back in good working order. I'd never needed to take a computer to a tech before, so I'm glad I found Horizon Computing after reading many online reviews. I'm adding Horizon to my list of reliable local experts.

Since then I don't have to look around anymore. These both guys are amazing in their job. and they never ever overcharge you. They would rather do the opposite to help you in any way they can. If nobody gets his job done, these guys don' t stop til their job is finished to your satisfaction.

I"m actually typing this review on the laptop they repaired! Absolutely blown away by their speed, and competence. I was very impressed with the turn around time on the repair. Paul had originally thought it would be a week depending on part availability, however, I dropped the laptop off on an evening at 530 pm, received a call around 11 am the next day saying it was ready! Price was very reasonable. Will definitely recommend and work with these fine folks again.

RIP OFF ARTISTS! CHARGED $50.00 to replace the power supply on my PC. Tried to sell me a HALF BROKEN Cord FOR MY LAPTOP FOR $25.00!!!IT WAS ALREADY NEAR BROKEN!! Wouldn't supply us with their GST# and claimed to remove 2 viruses..UTTER BULLSHIT!! I HAD JUST REINSTALLED TO FACTORY SETTINGS..THERE WERE 2 ELEMENTS OF ADWARE!! THATS ALL!! I thought it was gone - they fixed it! I had a pump failure in my water-cooling loop, and after installing a CPU cooler it still wouldn't post. I brought it into these guys, and *the same day* they swapped the cooler and made it boot. They were matter-of-fact and knowledgeable throughout the entire process, and very helpful.

My experience with Horizon Computing was very disappointing. A couple weeks before Christmas, I purchased a used computer which promptly failed on startup after only a few uses. I brought it back to be repaired under the 30-day repair warranty. Horizon had my computer for about 1 month and were not able to fix it due to not being able to get a replacement CPU. After waiting for 1 month, I was rather frustrated and got a full refund. During that month, communication was very poor. I had to initiate all communication to get updates on the status, to see if things had progressed as expected, to understand what the next step was going to be, etc. I felt that there was no initiative on the part of Horizon Computing to try to resolve the issue and get the computer I had paid for back to me in a timely manner. Some additional, qualifying statements: 1-Paul (the owner I believe) says he has been in poor health for some time and I believe he was telling the truth that this was a reason for the poor communication; 2-I was told the delay was because the CPU was ordered from a supplier, lost in transit, and supposedly reshipped but never arrived...again, I believe that is the truth. Generally, both with my experience and the very messy state of the physical location, Horizon Computing doesn't give me a feel of professionalism and customer service. I'm glad others have had better experiences.

I am very grateful for the customer service and the help I recieved. Paul (the owner) is a very kind man and he helped me with fixing my laptop which I am very grateful for. He even fixed it during the Christmas holidays! I am not highly educated in computers or technology at all, and Paul doesn't make me feel stupid or confused for not knowing any of it. He simply explains to me how the technology works in a friendly manner. Also, I will never forget when he helped me when I was struggling financially and lent me an old phone to borrow to help me get back on my feet. Thank you Paul! Excellent Customer Service!! I called looking for one product and after asking how I would use it, the guy suggested a cheeper and WAY better solution. (I had asked the same questions at 5 other vendors who offered nothing but garbage solutions). Even though Horizon didn't carry the better solution, staff offered some helpful suggestions where I could buy the product cheeper than other big box vendors. I had thought good customer service was long dead and gone. A big thank you to the staff at Horizon Electronics, for proving me wrong. You have earned my business from now on.

Paul was able to quickly diagnose the issue and got it back up and running. There flat $50 fee is wonderful as I was unsure how expensive the repair was going to be.
