My 43" Samsung decided to stop working right before Christmas, the gentleman at Teltronics was honest in letting me know it may take time for parts to come in due to the holidays. I appreciated the honesty and wasn't too worried. He even helped to bring my TV into the shop and to take it to my car when I was able to pick it up. Oh, and they have an amazingly friendly Ridgeback in the shop! Thank you, Teltronics crew! You all are great!

Excellent repair work when things can be repaired and he's very direct when things aren't worth repairing. Most people would be surprised at how many "broken" electronics are actually on a small fee and a day or two from being repaired to full working order again. He's done a few repairs for the company I work for and none of the stuff has failed again. (So far that is... I'm sure nothing lasts forever.)

The man who helped me really knew what he was talking about. I had an issue that turned out to be minor, and he fixed it free of charge. He also told me some information about what I brought in and I know a lot more about it now. You can tell they really care about customer satisfaction!

Very good experience. They were also very accommodating since we have an immunocompromised family member so they picked up/dropped off my TV so they wouldn't have to enter. Very happy.

Knowledgeable technical staff but find their $275/hr shop rate a bit steep. Claim a rate of $90 hr. Here’s a copy of their invoice for the repairs to the amp they serviced for me. Removed my address and details for privacy. Quote word for word on the invoice. Repaired open output power transformer. Replaced thermal interrupter in it. Replaced listed vacuum tubes. Tested output tubes OK. Realign screen voltages and to bias on output. Electra washed and lube volume control. Test run OK. Billed time one hour. Rate $275. *12AU7 preamp vacuum tube electroharmonix. $12.50 *12BH7 processing vacuum tube. $12.50 * shop supply 2 Watt Metal film resistor/thermal interrupter. $10.00 Total cost for the repairs $347.20

We have a used Roland electronic piano. (Not a cheap one either.) Teltronics was recommended to us as a Roland service center when the piano started making crackling and severely distorted audio. They had it from August 9th till October 2nd and managed to severely damage the exterior finish in the 8+ weeks they had it, in addition to not fixing the issues we had. I was told I would receive an estimate within 4 weeks and never received even a phone call from them until October 1st. I called them several times asking for updates but never got any EVEN WHEN I CALLED THEM. Upon arrival I instantly noticed the piano was damaged & was told - "You brought it to us like that"! Haha! As if I would would have bought it in that condition just months before, or did it myself...????. At some point the piano was subjected to a decent amount of heat causing the finish on the wood to blister and peel off the side and top. The staff was friendly and not rude while I was there. However, once I took the piano home and discovered the piano STILL DID NOT WORK they were very dismissive of my claims and even hung up on me! Kelowna Teltronics has terrible service and damaged my piano. The damage is not repairable and I DO NOT recommend them to anyone.

The folks at Teltronics are honest, authentic and know their stuff. They helped me out of a jam for far less cost with a repair than replacing the item. It was done next day and I couldn't be happier or more thankful. Great location in the middle of the city too.

I have a vintage amp. from 1976. . HH Scott. it's unheard of today, but was a great name in HIFI. I am totally impressed by the service I received. The amp is working perfectly and for $125 C. dollars in 2015 to get an amp that sold for $490 Canadian in 1976 working like a champ. wow ! and Tod is one of the last of a real electronics mechanic. . he didn't shy away because there were no schematics.

wish you could do 0 stars. save your time, sanity, and money and go somewhere more professional. took the PS4 to get the HDMI port fixed, was told it would be a couple days and a week later WE CALLED HIM and he said his machine broke so he didn’t know how much longer it would be. we are now taking it to someone who knows what they’re doing and told us they usually fix HMDI ports in a day and told us this place did a bunch of unnesasary work on it. don’t even bother with this place, it’s not worth the stress it’ll give you.

I collect vintage receivers and have had a hard time finding someone to repair and service them until I found out about these guys they had my repairs done in a reasonable time and their shop rate was a little on the steep side but worth it in the end

Teltronics Service Center damaged my Piano and "Misled" me. I gave "their manager" a Portable Digital Piano with 3&5/7 Normally Working treble octaves (I played all those in front of them at the time of drop off), to fix the non-working 2&5/7 bass octaves left. different times I emphasized to him, "If you see any risk of damage for the working part in the process, please do not open or risk with it, as it is still enough for helping me. Every time I said so, he assured me. Finally they could not fix the wrong part, and they returned me a Nothing-Works-Well and "totally odd, doubled, shaky, repetitive voice keys" for the entire piano, without even telling the truth while return. He assured me while return that there is no damage with the healthy part, even they fixed some of the Bass keys and maybe they are usable for short time. After I found the damage, I went and talked logically to him. He did not accept their mistake and started accusing me of lying, mocking my talks, and claimed that the piano “was Not working At All from the Drop Off day”. He refused to pay any compensation, even the estimation refund, and even giving the same working second hand piano as a compensation.

Asked to get my 2 technic 1200 mkII cleaned and have new rca cables put in and they wired one in backwards (red out to white in and reverse). The other one would not send out any audio or signal other then a low crackle they refused a refund because i personally did not know what the issues were with them, I suggest anybody with any audio/electronic equipment of value never go here.

I have a vintage Sansui amp. The left channel would crack at a certain volume. After calling a few places and being told it was not worth it to fix (??!) Teltronics recognized the amp immediately as being well worth the $$ to fix. It did take time and 2 visits, but for the price (very reasonable) and technicians who really know there stuff, it was well worth the wait. I am so very happy I found them and would recommend them to anyone with vintage stereo equipment.

I left some corvette stereo parts there for 5+ months, they finally made a bunch of excuses as to why they didn't fix it, all very lame. finally had it shipped back to me, paid a $60+ diagnostic fee. Looking it over,I don't think they even touched it !! very disappointing. I had asked beforehand if they could repair it.
