The team here have been amazing for all our devices. From cracked iPads to frozen iPhones and android messes they have been there for us. Quick fixes they have done for no charge which is let's be honest not the norm in business today. Simply put they know their stuff and are very fast and reasonably priced. As a google guide i was respectfuly testing there services.. as ive heard some bad things with custermer services . I grabed my old htc 10 phone with a bad motherbored knowing whats wrong and why its not working... Asked for new mobord for the phone..the tech refused to lissen to custermer and kept saying it was battery. When there is a short between 2nd 3erd pair. In the charger port..lol I give them credit for assuming they knew whats wrong changed battery no change. Then trys to say its water damige.yah its a old phone but thats not what killed it... Lol .Refused to lissen and beleave custermer asuming that the tech must be right..not the user lol. Mobored was shorted out with bad charger block that fried the transister in the charge port. No power..Lol. Still says its not that when its been diagnosed by manifacture. ...lol.

A few weeks ago (late July) I bought a iPhone 8+. I called Kelowna Cell Repair b-e-f-o-r-e going and asked about tempered glass screen protectors and was quoted $20 + tax installed. I went to their store within 1/2 hour, had it installed and while there also bought a case for it. All said and done I spent over $50 and left happy... I went back for another 8+ screen protector a few days later, but I was told its $25 + tax this time ... I explained how I had just paid $20 few days ago, and that I also bought a case the last time and they said it was "discounted" BECAUSE I bought the case. I explained that I had called AHEAD last time and was quoted $20 over the phone BEFORE going and them even knowing I was buying the case. But they insisted $25... I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere that day. ETA: After reading their reply to my original review I decided to take them up on their offer of a "free" screen protector. This time I had an iPhone X I just bought. They honoured their promise and installed it free of charge. After discussing about what happened the last time it turns out their price is $25 for plus-sized phones and I was quoted wrong during my initial call. I'm glad I gave them another chance and will go back if I need anything else for my phones.

I would highly recommend taking your cell phone to Kelowna Cell Repair for any issue that you are having. I needed to get the back glass of my iPhone XS Max replaced so I contacted them because they were by far the cheapest. I found out that they do not do back glass repairs on weekends and that I would have to check back during the week. I explained that I am currently commuting to penticton everyday for work and that it would be hard to get back early enough to give them 2 hours to do the replacement. We decided on doing it in 2 visits so that they would have enough time. I got my phone to them at 4pm and then killed time until 5:30. When I got back he told me that he was almost done and just needed a few more minutes. They were able to replace the glass quicker than expected and the tech even stayed after closing just to get it done.

Best possible place to bring your broken phone to; they use official manufacture parts, quick service, and they offer a 90 warranty. Also on top they offered me a complementary loaner phone so I would still be able to make and receive calls. :) It's no wonder everyone I asked said to take my broken phone to them. About ten days ago, I dropped my phone in water. I hoped it would right itself but the camera and flashlight stopped working and then it would no longer charge. I took it to Kelowna Cell Repair where Jamie opened it up in front of me. We could see the corrosion that had begun. I left it with Jamie where he called back and gave me an estimate for repair. I agreed to the estimate. I just picked it up a few minutes ago and it was less than he quoted ($100 plus taxes for all that repair work). I am so impressed with their professionalism as well as their rates. Great job Jamie (and your business partner).

They claimed they fixed my data issue not being able to lock to a network charged me 33 bucks for nothing as it was not fixed and over a month since I was able to bring it back in. feb 13/2020 brought back April 2/2020 since I checked it so didn’t offer refund or store credit so I probably won’t go to them again other two experiences were better and thought they would Refund me but it is outside there 30 day return /refund policy so check your phone works right away. Lesson learned about trust and integrity. Lucky I don’t need the phone as Urgently as I did before it was a backup. Disappointed in resolution more than anything. Nice people and polite to customers quality of service could use some room for improvement in network related issues. So would only recommend for screen replacement.

One word review: untrustworthy. If you read my full review, you'll understand why you should stay away from this business. I emailed Kelowna cell repair for a quote on a broken screen, and lock button. They quoted me a price in the screen and said the lock button might only need to be soldered, otherwise it would be $20, and I would need to wait a week for the screen to be ordered in. This was ok with me, since only a small portion of the screen was broken. What I was not ok with was what came next. -a tech phoned me saying it would now cost 50 to replace the lock button, and soldering was not an option -I told him I was quoted $20 and he spoke to his manager who ok'd it. -then he mentioned it would take 10 days for the replacement lock button. -When I asked to have the screen replaced and then have my phone back while waiting for the lock button to arrive, I was told that this would bump it back to the $50 quote, plus the screen cost. -when I said this was unacceptable and asked for my phone back, I was told that I would have to wait until the end of the day since I was no longer a paying customer and they had opened my phone to give the quote (in reality this takes 15 minutes to do, even if it's your first time.) this too was unacceptable since it would mean I would not be able to take my phone to another shop that day. -I got my phone back, took it else where and they did the lock button for free, since it didn't need replacing, and I got my phone back the next day. -I explained my situation to the second store, and he seemed to know what I was talking about, however, he asked me not to mention his shop fearing a backlash. In my opinion, this behavior on the part of Kelowna cell repair is highway robbery, and borders on fraud. I would highly recommend any other place at all.

This was the best customer service experience I have ever received. My phone was on the fritz for no particular reason, all the other cell repair shops didn't even bother to try and look at it when I brought it to them, but instead sell me a used phone instead. Jamie at Kelowna cell repair offered to look at it, experiment on it free of charge to try and get it working, and loaned me a replacement phone in the downtime. The guy was helpful, honest, and a straight shooter, I can't ask for much more than that. Congrats you guys, I'm a new customer for life.

I honestly cannot say enough about this place. I have the absolute worst luck with phones and they have saved my ass numerous times. This last time my extremely expensive Samsung s7 edge was crushed. I was so heartbroken because I had my phone on airplane mode due to having been on holidays with family, therefore none of my photos had yet been back up. There were precious irreplaceable photos taken on this trip of all the family including a family member who may not be with us a lot longer in life. I was so heartbroken as I could not retrieve these photos without a new screen. And a new screen is $505 dollars with tax which I cannot afford. So they did me a solid and replaced my crushed screen temporarily with someone else's new screen to retrieve the photos for me. Then transferred them onto a memory stick for me for a very small fee.i could not be happier. They are my hero's and offer amazing service from start to finish. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. Thanks again so much guys your the best!!

I had my iPhone 5 repaired for a cracked screen, and they were NOT original manufacturer parts. After the replacement the phone had this phantom swiping issue where the digitizer thought a finger was swiping to the right in the bottom right corner. I took it back and they said that it must have been a hardware issue because I dropped my phone (the issue was not there before I had the screen replaced). Then, when I asked for a refund, they wouldn't give me a full refund?!? They claimed that because the labour had already been performed that I should not receive a full refund. What's more, they did not keep my screen to put back in. A week later I was in Vancouver, and I took my iPhone to the Apple store to have it looked at, and in the first few minutes the technician at the genius bar told me that the screen was not an Apple certified part, and he pointed out the slight colour difference between the white of the home button and the white of the screen. I ended up having to buy a new phone, not impressed. I'm saddened that they claim that they use "OEM Quality" parts, when they clearly do not. Please, take your business to a certified repair technician if you want it done right.

Fast work done locally by fine folks. I was a tourist visitor to Kelowna. I brought my daughter's phone in to Sebastian at 4: she had dropped it, and the screen had gone black, although it wasn't visibly damaged. He diagnosed it as being either a $50 or $250 repair, depending on the cause, and agreed to do a diagnosis at no risk to me... If it wasn't going to be $50, he would put it back together and return the phone to me. He called within an hour to say that it was the simpler problem, and I picked up the repaired phone at 10 a.m. the next day. My son's S8 was stuck in a boot loop. It turned out he needed a new main board. The repair was a bit more money than we (he) had hoped, but we needed it fixed so went ahead with the repair. While talking about it, we asked about an unrelated problem he was having with the phone, and they kindly threw it in that repair with the original quote. After picking up the phone, my son pointed out they also took care of a cosmetic problem. I'm sure they can't do that for every repair, and I'd never go in expecting free extras, but it is really nice to know they aren't in the practice of up-selling when they don't need to. I hope I never need to go back, but I would't hesitate to if needed. Thanks guys!

My 1 year old iPhone 7+ has been unreliably charging recently . I called the store to see if it could be dealt with today as I needed it functioning 100% tomorrow. Jamie quoted me a free diagnosis and a 75$ rate if the port needed changing . When I arrived, he remembered I called him and offered for me to check into my warranty availability which was kind of him to mention but I needed it right away so he said give them an hour. When I returned he told the other staff member to process it N/C as it turned out it just needed cleaning and he said they're honest :-) it made my day ! I was going to take the hit to get my old iPhone fixed since it according to the help forums, it would need a new power supply for about $100 I took it in and explained how the phone wouldn’t charge any more and it needed repair. The tech shined a light into the power port, grabbed a pick and scraped a bunch of compressed pocket lint out. He then plugged the phone into a power cord and it immediately charged. Less than 8 seconds and NO CHARGE Amazing!!

The guy that helped me when I arrived wasn't sure if he could do the diagnostic tests necessary to find the problem (complimentary I might add, which was amazing too), until the next day which I was absolutely fine with, but literally called me within 5 mins of me leaving the store to let me know what was wrong and how much it would be and that it would be ready the next morning for me. Posting this an hour after I received back my iphone 11 that was ran over by a truck. The experience was great the worst part about it so far is that I had to drive through Kelowna traffic to get there. Guy that worked there said that due to the damage some components may not work anymore, and after looking over the device later I found out that everything works. Far as I can tell the repair was gentle but thorough and the phone looks almost brand new. Will update if anything changes

They get fake customers to call our head office and tell them that we recommended another repair center in town and they broke something in their phone and now the phone wont be covered by warranty through apple. Which is stupid because who fixes a phone privately while under warranty. Now with the reply below they admit doing so and who would support such a garbage business that tries to get other people fire from their job because they are not the only player in town anymore. Good job you just played yourselves after telling people you are not the ones who were sending fake customers. Trying to get us in trouble with our head offices. I don’t know why they have damn high rating, seriously! I never give bad reviews to any places that I visit to, but honestly I could not pass to write something here! I came in for a iPhone 7 Plus battery replacement! They said I can come back in an hour, so I left and returned! They return my phone and I paid 75 or something like that! I went to my car and check the battery health! Luckily Apple created a function that u can review if the battery is new or there is time for u to replace ur battery! And I checked that in Setting , and it’s said 85% compare to when it was new! Generally, they did not change the new one to me or they just replace with a old one! So I went in to ask again, there one guy took it back and said “sorry, it’s a bad one” , Wow... then that guy took like 10 mins to replace another one! After then I checked in setting , yup it said 100% compare to the original battery! However, the line under it said, ur phone has experienced bad ... IF your battery is good or new, it says “ your battery is currently supporting normal...” After 10 days using that damn battery, my phone battery health loses to 20% Even though I did not use for anything! I just replaced in London drugs, where u have to do more paperwork with them and they would give u a more professional job!! I use my phone 2 days and the battery still good! This place is terrible!

Although the water damage was too extensive to salvage the phone, they did their best and we're more than fair in what they charged me. Jamie showed me the corroded areas and made no promises, but assured me he'd do his best. Furthermore, when I inquired about a repacement phone, Jamie offered me valuable advice on the iPhones currently available. He suggested I check out Castanet for used iPhones and when I found one, he gave me his opinion on its value and even offered to check it over for me AT NO CHARGE!! before I bought it. My iPhone quit charging. I took it in to see if they could tell me why. I was told charging port dead or maybe just corrosion. Cost to fix it between $30-$95 + taxes. I told them I had warranty with Geek Squad. I called them. What a ripoff!!! With warranty it would cost me $200+taxes deductible for the same thing and I’d have no phone for 7-10 days. I cancelled my Geek coverage and went back to Kelowna Cell Repair. They were amazing. Didn’t give me a hard time for trying my insurance instead very politely took my phone, fixed it and had it back to me in 1 hour and $33.60 later. I will use them going forward for all my repairs 5 stars from me!!! Thank you.

REAL REVIEW, NO LIES: It's been 2 months since the absolute disaster that Kelowna Cell Repair dealt me. Let me tell that story in detail: Before Kelowna Cell Repair: Cracked iPhone XS, but otherwise perfect working condition and nothing wrong with the device. The first time they repaired the glass, they gave me a screen that was an absolute joke - pressing buttons without me touching them what they called "Ghost Clicking" which effectively left me locked out of my phone multiple times a day as it would get the password wrong in my pocket. After dealing with this for almost 3 weeks - the device permanently locked itself out. No iTunes restore possible. I bring the phone back and they agree that it is faulty and repair the glass. They are unable to restore the phone (due to their screen ghost clicking) and tell me that not every glass comes in perfect, admitting that they charged me full price for a trash screen. Next: They have to wipe my phone, and say that it's not their fault (lmao) and that they won't be refunding me any of that money (an absolute joke and terrible customer service). I lost all my photos of the previous 6 months as well as lost data saved on the phone. Not to mention that my phone was in the shop for multiple days. Moral of the story: 1. If possible, backup your phone before bringing to any cell repair shop. 2. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE bring your phone to Kelowna Cell Repair. If I could rate my experience it would be less than 1 star. Charged me full price for their errors. What a joke. AVOID.

Instead of repairing it they first tried a quick clean and that did resolve the issue. So instead of taking my money for a repair they just did a quick clean for me and everything works fine again. My phone was in 2" of water for an hour--Dead. I Googled and did the home remedy tricks. Removed battery, remove case, packed in rice in oven with light bulb on (slightly warmed) for 2 days. I reassembled and nothing :( I took it to Kelowna Cell Repair and they offer a free estimate. K, nothing to loose. They also said they would not fix it if the result was flaky. The goal is to make it as new, not 'kinda working'. A day later, for a very fair amount of money, the phone was repaired. It also came with a 30 day warranty. That was 2 months ago! The guys there are great!

I had to have the battery on my iPhone replaced; unfortunately the battery replacement was defective, and I lost my receipt. I explained the issue of my lost invoice, and one of the employees looked for the receipt. He couldn't find it and explained to me that it would have cost $25 so his book keeper could give them a new copy for proof it was fixed. The $35 fee wasn't a problem. Then, the British guy working there said he remembered fixing my phone and said to the other employee to forget about charging me for the invoice which was awesome! Although the battery was defective, they said they will replace the battery for no charge! Also awesome! The customer service here is absolutely top notch and has always been my go-to phone repair shop. Definitely coming back!

The SIM card got stuck inside my phone today and of course I freaked out thinking that the phone was toast or that it would be a costly fix. When I arrived at Kelowna Cell Repair they popped the SIM card out within 30 seconds and handed me my phone back and said that they were happy to do it as a courtesy. WHAT?? I couldn't believe my ears because this type of service is unheard of these days. I mean, WOW...these guys are a class act and the ultimate in professional. Just FYI and in stark contrast, the "other guys" wanted $50 just to look at the phone and told me it would be at least 2 hours or maybe even a couple of days before they got to it. Huh?? Ya no thanks. Without a doubt, Kelowna Cell Repair should be the ONLY CALL or stop you make to fix your device. Period.

Staff was nice but he was trying to sell me the 6S plus screen protector instead of the 7plus screen protector. The screen protector does fit however the older models cover the ear speaker on the iPhone 7 plus. I went back and try to exchange but the staff told me to come back in 2 weeks. I brought it in and he pulled out some lint gave it back to me withinin a minute, and told me he thinks my problem is fixed. He didn't charge me anything. He is the nicest most honest guy. I have been using this company off and on for 5 years. They are extremely professional and I would go nowhere else if I had any issues with my cell phone. Let me describe my latest visit, which was typical of what I have come to expect from Kelowna Cell Repair. My 3.5 year IPhone 5s did not seem to hold power for more than 4 or 5 hours. Given it's age, I assumed it required a new battery. I took it to Taylor and he said that before they replace a battery, they perform a diagnostic test that runs about 2 hours. They do this so that they are not unnecessarily replacing a battery when it is not needed. Long story short, they found that the battery was working fine and was only 15 or 20 percent off of factory settings. Given that I told Taylor I was planning to upgrade to newer IPhone within a year, he suggested I live with the reduced battery capacity and save my money. He refused to take any money for performing the 2 hour diagnostic tests and also provided me with helpful advice and recommendations on a new IPhone. Again, why would I or anyone else go anywhere else for their cell phone repairs? I know I certainly would not and it would be nice if all merchants and repair services had the same customer experience as I consistently receive from this company! Thank you! Clint

I rarely review, but my experience was excellent. Accidentally dropped my iphone 5s and shattered the glass - they quoted me online and stayed true to the quote. 1 hour, done on time and it works perfectly. Didn't need my passcode so I was comfortable with the security of my data. I would recommend to anyone that needs a screen replaced!

So glad I went and paid 400$ for a unlocked cellphone from them before leaving for Mexico, other then its locked to at&t and doesn't work here in mexico... yes I told them I was buying the phone to take to mexico.... it says it just needs an unlock code for at&t but they aren't offering any help
