Thank you very much for helping me out with my phone. The gentleman that works there is very professional. He advised me of the options, possible costs, and the timeline. He kept me updated on the progress and advised when it was ready for pickup. On top of this they were open on stat holiday. Very professional and very communicative. And the best thing they don't charge you for looking into problem only if they're able to fix it. One of the phones I brought was not repairable and they didn't charge for it.

Brought in a Pixel for a new battery and after the owner looked at it he said that I probably only needed to do a factory data reset. That worked and saved me a the price of a new battery which wasn't cheap as Pixel battery replacement is more time consuming than most. I appreciated that he didn't charge me for a battery that wasn't really necessary. He didn't make any money but he gained a loyal future customer.

Fast and affordable. The aluminum edges of my phone were left marked up after the repair because they needed to adjust the corners and they tried to smooth out the marks, but I did a better job at home with a fine metal file.

They repaired my iPad Pro that was dropped so many times that it was dented on three corners. The screen was lifting in the camera corner and finally shattered because of a bow in the frame. When I received it back I noticed the screen lifting and asked them to take another look at it and see what they can do. They worked some magic and straightened the frame. They took my phone, failed to fix my problems, returned my phone with more issues than it initially had, and refused a refund. What ultimately led me to write this review was the fact that I was referred to this shop, and it wasn't due to credibility in regard to their service. I was referred to this shop purely on kick back basis. MEANING the phone companies around town sending people to EK Cell Repair because they're making a few $$ to send customers there. Disgusting. I originally heard of this place through a colleague, and when I dropped my phone I came here to see about fixing the screen. Since it was a small crack and it wasn't spreading he said it wasn't worth replacing the screen for. Most people would take the opportunity to make money whether it's in the customer's best interests or not, however he instead offered to sell me a case to prevent future damage. Extraordinarily friendly guy, and you can tell he knows his stuff. Definitely gonna be recommending him to all my friends.

Bought a screen protector for my new smartphone early last summer and it lasted until well into the fall and it was replaced with a brand new one under warranty for free with no questions. I have to say this is the best screen protector I have had on one of my phones. The price may seem expensive for initial screen protector; however, it is worth it as you will save money in the long run and have a fresh new screen protector all the time. A side note: you don't need a receipt, they save your phone serial number and link it to your account! Great staff, great service and great products.

These guys have gone above and beyond twice for me in the past year. When I cracked my cell phone screen they replaced it quickly, and added a screen protector for a very reasonable price. A year later, I thought I cracked my screen again, turns out it was just the protector that was cracked, so they basically saved me about $100 by putting that on for me! My experience with EK Cell Repair was nothing but outstanding. In front of me there was a gentleman looking to have his screen fixed on an older phone. The associate told him all the options including buying another one or upgrading through his provider because it may be more cost efficient than replacing the screen and other parts for $200. For myself they fixed my screen and sold me an awesome case at a very reasonable price! The associate was very upfront with me and made sure I knew the cost before they did any work. Got my broken screen fixed and since then the screen glitches out and presses random places even though my fingers arnt even on the phone. My 900$ smart phone is now basically trash as it is incapable of writing text messages, dialling numbers, or completing any tasks involving persise button pressing. It even called 911 when I was browsing my contacts, Go somewhere else this place is a total scam.

HONEST & GREAT SERVICE! I cracked (or so I thought) the screen on my i-phone 6s the the other day and took it to EK to get fixed. I had been there a couple of years ago to get another phone unlocked and went back because the previous experience was (also) positive. He looked at my phone and said it was just the screen protector that was damaged (spider cracking), not the actual phone glass itself. He easily could have said it was broken and charged me $140 to replace it and I would never have known any better, instead he replaced the protector ($20) and in the end, because it had a tiny specs of dust under it, he didn't even charge me for it. Go there knowing they run an honest business and have great service. Highly recommend!

I was honest with him and I purchased a glass screen protector in december 2017 and had issues with it always coming off. The glass was lost and fell off somewhere in March and i couldn't find it. I lost my receipt as well and only had a bank transaction as proof. He replaced it for me at no charge.

Was refered to you from Rogers. Was told my motherboard was faulty and that it would need to be replaced to fix the issue, only to take it to another repair store in town and they fixed the issue for $70. *Edit. I was absolutely refered by Rogers to you, I still even have the 10% off referal card I was given by the staff, which later I found out you pay for these referrals. Not only could you not fix my phone, you're claiming what I am saying is untrue. Go back to school and learn how to do your job properly instead of trying to make your not happy customers look like liars.

Great service. Professional. Warns you of any warranty that may become void so you can make an informed decision. Also fixed my xperia which isn't a very popular phone. Took about a day and was very affordable compared to using my own providers replacement insurance which I had been already paid for monthly which by then was twice the amount EK Cell required to fix. Very reasonable and will tell you whether or not it's actually worth it for you do use his services or not. Highly recommend for any damaged phones

My iPhone was having issues with its charging port. I figured there was a blockage or something like that. I came to EK Cell repair today assuming that they would have to order in my parts and it would take a week or more to fix my phone. Turns out they had all my parts in stock and was able to fix within 30 minutes. This was a huge convenience as if I would have sent it to LG it would have taken weeks to fix and I needed the phone soon. I would recommend this place to anyone needing their phone fixed. Where do I start. I went into simply computing in Kelowna with my daughters iphone 6 plus. The touch had stopped working. Apparently this is called touched disease. They referred me to this place EK phone repair. We had just got back from holidays and couldn't access the photos in the phone as there was no touch and photos and videos were very important. The asian man at the front counter said they could repair this for $100. We explained how important the pictures and videos were. The next day we can to pick up the phone and the device was not repaired and no longer had any power whatsoever. The man explained that it's like open heart surgery and this happens sometimes. The thing is he never explained those risks to us or we would have looked at other options with no risks. We now have a phone that's a write off and all the photos are gone. Thanks Simply and EK Cell Repair for destroying my daughter phone and losing all her data. You guys are terrible! UPDATE: So you say we were never there and have no record. Well "JW" that's because I gave you my daughters name incase she was going to pick it up instead. I don't appreciate you calling us a liars either and this shows your integrity. We went to your location on Enterprise rd. Kelowna is a small town and I will make sure all my family and friends know what you did and I will show your reply to this as well!!

My daughter was in town visiting and had problems with the protective screen on her cell phone. Eventually it came off and actually cracked. I ordered a low cost 3-pack through Amazon -- thinking I could install it myself because I had done so previously on my own cell phone. Needless to say, I screwed that up but we still had two left. We went looking at several places to have someone put it on. Some people flat out would not install it unless we bought it from them, other wanted $40 plus tax for installation. We finally ended up at EK Cell Repair. The fellow behind the counter was so very nice - when I asked how much the cost would be he say "Just pay whatever you think it's worth." and he did it on the spot without making us wait even though there were other customers in the store. If I ever need repairs or accessories, or any of my friends do - know where we will be going. Excellent service, very nice attitude and fair prices. What else can you ask for?

Out right untrustworthy. Charged me $140 to "fix" my iPhone X when it wouldn't turn on. After bad mouthing another local repair shop and explaining it was their fault for the phone not turning on, I headed back to Kelowna Cell Repair where I had taken my phone to be repaired for a new charging port just a few weeks earlier. Understandably frustrated after what the tech at EK had told me. It was to my shock and embarrassment when Jamie from Kelowna Cell Repair actually took apart my phone right there in front of me and proved that the charging port repair they did previously had nothing to do with the problem that EK Cell repair "Fixed" What Jamie found, showed and explained to me was that 2 Capacitors had blown on the main board of the phone apparently its a common issue on the iPhone X, but instead of replacing these necessary parts that regulate power in the phone, EK cell repair just pulled them off of the phone like bad teeth. Jamie at Kelowna Cell Repair was quite happy to replace the missing Capacitors for me which would normally would have cost me $90 for him to repair, but because I had been taken advantage of, Jamie replaced them for free!! Not only was I over charged for the fix comparatively to what Kelowna Cell Repair usually charges, but the "repair" wasn't even done properly. Lesson learnt to avoid this "repair" store at all costs in the future.
